Abstract

Bali is the most affected region by the tourism sector during pandemic with economic growth of -9.31% in 2020. The economic difficulties faced by the community, especially those who used to work in the tourism sector, made people turn to the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) sector in order to continue to earn income in the midst of uncertain conditions during the pandemic. This research reviewed some literature related to the role of MSMEs in Bali’s economic growth during pandemic. The results show that during the economic contraction, MSMEs have a big role in revitalizing the Bali economy. The increase in the number of MSMEs in Bali during pandemic implies that there are still many Balinese people who have a high entrepreneurial orientation. The good performance of MSMEs with a good entrepreneurial orientation is able to support Bali economy during pandemic which has experienced a drastic decline.

Abstract

ABSTRACTEmployee performance is the result of the work of employees both in terms of quality and quantity in carrying out and completing the tasks. To increase employee performance, organizations must be able to provide motivation and satisfaction to their employees so that employees are increasingly encouraged to carry out their duties so that they can increase their overall productivity. This research aims to obtain empirical evidence of the influence of work motivation on employee performance with job satisfaction as mediating variable at the Gianyar Regency Civil Service Police Unit Office. The population in this study were all employees at the Gianyar Regency Civil Service Police Unit Office which consists of 67 employees. This study used census sampling technique. Data were collected with questionnaires. The data analysis technique uses SEM-PLS version 3.0. The research results show that motivation and job satisfaction have positive and significant effect on employee performance, motivation has positive and significant effect on job satisfaction, and job satisfaction mediates the influences of motivation on employee performance.Keywords: work motivation; job satisfaction; employee performanceABSTRAKKinerja karyawan merupakan hasil kerja karyawan baik dari segi kualitas maupun kuantitas dalam melaksanakan dan menyelesaikan tugas-tugasnya. Untuk meningkatkan kinerja karyawan, organisasi harus dapat memberikan motivasi dan kepuasan kepada karyawannya agar karyawan semakin terpacu dalam melaksanakan tugasnya sehingga dapat meningkatkan produktivitasnya secara keseluruhan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh bukti empiris mengenai pengaruh motivasi kerja terhadap kinerja pegawai dengan kepuasan kerja sebagai variabel mediasi pada Kantor Satuan Polisi Pamong Praja Kabupaten Gianyar. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh pegawai di Kantor Satuan Polisi Pamong Praja Kabupaten Gianyar yang terdiri dari 67 orang pegawai. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik pengambilan sampel sensus. Data dikumpulkan dengan kuesioner. Teknik analisis data menggunakan SEM-PLS versi 3.0. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa motivasi dan kepuasan kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai, motivasi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja, dan kepuasan kerja memediasi pengaruh motivasi terhadap kinerja pegawai.Kata kunci: motivasi kerja; kepuasan kerja; kinerja karyawan

Abstract

Program pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan ekonomi kreatif dan literasi keuangan bagi ibu-ibu PKK Desa Sumerta Kauh melalui dua bentuk kegiatan, yaitu pelatihan merangkai bunga dan edukasi pengelolaan keuangan rumah tangga. Pelatihan merangkai bunga diberikan untuk mengembangkan kreativitas, kemampuan teknis, serta membuka peluang usaha berbasis ekonomi kreatif yang mudah diterapkan di lingkungan rumah tangga. Sementara itu, literasi keuangan difokuskan pada peningkatan kemampuan peserta dalam menyusun anggaran, melakukan pencatatan sederhana, mengendalikan perilaku konsumsi, serta memahami pentingnya tabungan dan dana darurat. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini meliputi sosialisasi, demonstrasi, pendampingan, dan praktik langsung. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan keterampilan peserta dalam teknik merangkai bunga serta peningkatan pemahaman dalam mengelola keuangan keluarga secara lebih terstruktur dan bijaksana. Integrasi kedua kegiatan ini memberikan dampak positif terhadap peningkatan kepercayaan diri peserta, memperkuat kesiapan untuk memulai usaha kecil, serta mendorong kemandirian ekonomi keluarga. Program ini diharapkan dapat dilanjutkan melalui pendampingan lanjutan dan penguatan kapasitas pemasaran digital guna memastikan keberlanjutan manfaat bagi masyarakat desa.

Abstract

Education is an effort that deliberately, regularly runs and plans to modify or develop behavior which the environment wish for (Wahyuningsih, 2004). There are several problem in education, which is some students have learning difficulties. Student with above average level of intelligence but low achieving at school is called by underachiever. Academic achievement is result of learning processes that shown from the changes on knowledge and comprehension, value, attitude, and skill (Winkle, 1997). According to Suryabrata, Shertzer, and Stone (in Winkle, 1997), there are some psychological factors that influence academic achievement. Psychological factors that were studied in this research are adaptive behavior and emotional intelligence.This research is quantitative study using double regression technique. Subjects of this research are 47 underachiever students (n boys = 24; n girls = 23) who their age are between 11 to 15 year old. The sampling method is random cluster sampling. The data collection method uses Adaptive Behavior Scale (rxx = 0.983), Emotional Intelligence Scale (rxx = 0.870), and study report in odd semester.From hypothesis test with double regression technique, it is found that the correlational coefficient is 0.857, the regression coefficient is 0.735, the significant coefficient of the regression is 0.000, and the significant coefficient of independent variables are both 0.000 and 0.043. It shows that there is significant causal correlation between adaptive behavior and emotional intelligence with academic achievement, the adaptive behavior and emotional intelligence influences academic achievement as 73.5%. Abstract

Dalam meningkatkan kinerja guru yang baik seorang guru harus meningkatkan sumber daya manusia agar tercapai tujuan dalam mendidik. Untuk dapat meningkatkan kualitas Sumber Daya Manusia (SDM) seorang guru harus memiliki kompetensi, profesionalisme, dan memiliki semangat yang tinggi agar kinerja guru semakin optimal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh budaya organisasi, gaya kepemimpinan transformasional dan motivasi kerja terhadap kinerja guru. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif. Populasi yang digunakan adalah guru di SMA Negeri 1 Selat dan sampel sebanyak 41 orang. Teknik analisis data menggunakan Uji Validitas, Uji Reabilitas, Uji Asumsi Klasik, Anaisis Regresi Linier Berganda, Uji Korelasi Berganda, Koefisien Determinasi, Uji F dan Uji t. Dari hasil penelitian diperoleh hasil budaya organisasi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja guru, gaya kepemimpinan transformasional berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja guru, dan motivasi kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja guru. Saran yang dapat diberikan peneliti adalah SMA Negeri 1 Selat, maka peneliti sarankan untuk lebih meningkatkan kerjasama tim di dalam melaksanakan tugas-tugas sekolah agar tercapainya budaya organisasi yang baik, SMA Negeri 1 Selat, maka peneliti sarankan untuk lebih meningkatkan kerjasama tim di dalam melaksanakan tugas tugas sekolah agar tercapainya budaya organisasi yang baik dan gaji yang diberikan kepada guru agar tepat waktu sehingga dapat meningkatkan motivasi kerja yang dimiliki guru dalam melaksanakan tugasnya.

Abstract

In this era of globalization, employee performance is important for every organization to achieve its goals. Human resources are the most important asset for every organization; without human resources, the entire organizational system cannot run smoothly. High-quality human resources are a key factor for an organization, enabling employees to make a significant contribution to the success and growth of the organization. This study aims to examine the influence of servant leadership, rewards, and punishments on the performance of Double R Garment employees. The sample in this study consisted of all 35 employees of Double R Garment Denpasar. The research sample was saturated sampling. The data analysis technique used was regression analysis. The results of the study indicate that servant leadership and punishment simultaneously and partially have a significant effect on the performance of Double R Garment Denpasar employees.

Abstract

This study aims to examine and analyze the extent to which servant leadership, interpersonal communication, and knowledge sharing contribute to improving employee performance at Smoke.Bali Restaurant, located in Badung Regency, Bali. Using a quantitative approach, this study involved all 42 employees as respondents through a total census technique. Data collection was conducted using a questionnaire that adopted a five-point Likert scale, then processed using multiple linear regression analysis through SPSS software. The main findings show that the three independent variables, both partially and simultaneously, have a positive and significant effect on employee performance. The Adjusted R Square value reached 0.679, indicating that approximately 67.9% of employee performance variability can be explained by the combination of servant leadership, interpersonal communication, and knowledge sharing, while the rest is influenced by other factors outside the model. The beta coefficients for each variable were 0.448 for servant leadership (p < 0.001), 0.513 for interpersonal communication (p < 0.001), and 0.546 for knowledge sharing (p < 0.001). These results are consistent with Path Goal Theory and a number of previous empirical studies, which confirm the important role of servant leadership, effective communicative interaction, and a culture of knowledge sharing in the context of the competitive hospitality industry. Practical implications for restaurant management include developing servant leadership training programs, optimizing internal communication channels, and initiatives to encourage knowledge exchange among employees to achieve more optimal operational performance.

Abstract

Employee performance is the work achieved by an individual or group of individuals in a company in accordance with their respective authority and responsibilities, organizational objectives, without violating the law and without conflicting with morals and ethics. This study aims to determine the effect of work-life balance, work stress, and workload on employee performance at the Champlung Mas Resort & Spa Legian Kuta Bali Hotel. This study uses data analysis methods, namely multiple linear regression analysis and hypothetical testing, namely T-test analysis. The results show that work-life balance has a positive and significant effect on employee performance at Champlung Mas Resort & Spa Legian Kuta Bali. Work stress has a negative effect on employee performance at Champlung Mas Resort & Spa Legian Kuta Bali. Workload has a negative effect on employee performance at Champlung Mas Resort & Spa Legian Kuta Bali.
