Abstract

Pendidikan Profesi Guru (PPG) menuntut guru menjadi profesional yang kreatif, logis, dan inovatif dalam mengembangkan desain pembelajaran matematika dan soal berbasis HOTS. Hal ini bertolak belakang dengan pembelajaran di sekolah dimana tidak semua guru mampu mendesain pembelajaran inovatif, soal matematika yang masih bersifat prosedural, dan pengelolaan bahan ajar matematika yang monoton. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan persiapan dan performa guru setelah mengikuti program PPG melalui penggunaan SPADA. Metode yang digunakan adalah studi kasus di Universitas Muhammadiyah Malang (UMM) Tahun 2019 dengan melibatkan 40 mahasiswa Program PPG kelas dalam jabatan dan prajabatan. Data berupa persiapan dan performa yang diperoleh dari kuisioner terbuka dianalisis secara deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan profesionalitas guru matematika yang ditinjau dari persiapan dan performa guru yaitu persiapan guru meningkat meliputi kegiatan pembuatan perangkat pembelajaran, pemanfaatan sumber belajar internet, strategi pembelajaran, dan asesmen pembelajaran matematika. Performa guru di kelas juga mengalami peningkatan efektivitasnya ditinjau dari kemampuan mengelola kelas berbasis internet, penguasaan konten matematika dan menggunakan instrumen asesmen pembelajaran.

Abstract

Student’s critical thinking skills that are currently still low are important to develop because they affect the way students think in solving problems. The problem-based learning model with the inquiry method used to help improve student’s critical thinking skills. The iSpring learning media used can help students understand the material. The research results were obtained from the output of the paired sample t-test, a significance value 0.05, so it was concluded that there was a difference between before applying the learning model and after applying the learning model. The results of the questionnaire responses to the media also resulted in positive responses from students.

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh penerapan kurikulum yang telah berjalan selama dua tahun dan belum semua sekolah menerapkan kurikulum ini pada semua tingkatan kelas sehingga diperlukan adaptasi pada tingkatan kelas yang baru diterapkan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan kesiapan dan hasil belajar siswa pada Kurikulum Merdeka. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif yang diperoleh dari data angket dan hasil tes. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa Kelas VII, sedangkan instrumen penelitian menggunakan lembar wawancara, observasi dan angket. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kesiapan siswa dalam menerapkan Kurikulum Mandiri belum optimal dengan persentase respon positif dari angket masih dibawah 50%. Hasil belajar kedua kelas yang diamati menunjukkan rata-rata penilaian formatif sebesar 62,85 dan 67,63 sehingga dapat dikatakan hasil belajar tersebut belum memenuhi nilai ketuntasan belajar minimal. Abstract:  This research is motivated by the implementation of the curriculum which has been ongoing for two years and not all schools have implemented this curriculum at all grade levels so adaptation is needed for the newly implemented grade levels. The aim of this research is to describe students' readiness and learning outcomes in the Merdeka Curriculum. The research method used is descriptive with a qualitative approach obtained from questionnaire data and test results. The research subjects were Class VII students, while the research instruments used interview sheets, observations and questionnaires. The research results show that students' readiness to implement the Independent Curriculum is not optimal with the percentage of positive responses from the questionnaire still below 50%. The learning results of the two classes observed showed an average formative assessment of 62.85 and 67.63, so it can be said that the learning results did not meet the minimum learning completeness value.

Abstract

Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik (LKPD) merupakan salah satu perangkat pembelajaran yang berperan penting dalam mentransfer pengetahuan. Selama pandemi, guru dituntut memiliki kreativitas dalam menyusun LKPD yang diakses siswa secara online. Namun, fakta di SMPN 18 Malang menunjukkan bahwa LKPD yang disusun guru berbentuk file Portable Document Format (PDF) yang dalam penggunaannya siswa harus mencetak dan mengisi secara manual. Melalui diskusi dengan Kepala SMPN 18 Malang, permasalahan pembelajaran di sekolah yaitu kurangnya pelatihan penyusunan LKPD secara online kepada guru sehingga siswa kurang antusias dan termotivasi dalam mengikuti pembelajaran online. Oleh karena itu, program pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pelatihan dan pendampingan kepada 30 guru SMPN 18 Malang dalam menyusun LKPD interaktif menggunakan aplikasi liveworksheet. Pelaksanaan program pengabdian diawali dari sosialisasi, pelatihan, dan pendampingan secara blended dibantu oleh tim mahasiswa “Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat oleh Mahasiswa (PMM) Mitra Dosen”. Ketercapaian pelatihan dan pengabdian ini didasarkan pada tersusunnya LKPD pada aplikasi Liveworksheet. Hasil yang baik telah dicapai dalam pelaksanaan pengabdian ini dengan 70% guru menyelesaikan LKPD interaktif yang menarik menggunakan aplikasi Liveworksheet.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan soal bertipe open ended pada materi bangun ruang sisi datar untuk menganalisis kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa SMP. Dasar pengembangan ini yaitu pentingnya pengukuran kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa SMP sehingga guru dapat menentukan model pembelajaran yang sesuai dengan kemampuan siswa. Pemberian soal open ended bermanfaat dalam memberikan pengalaman kepada siswa maupun guru dalam menyelesaikan soal dengan berbagai tipe. Pengembangan dilakukan sampai soal dinyatakan valid, praktis, dan efektif. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan Research and Development (R&D) yang telah dimodifikasi menjadi 5 langkah yaitu penelitian dan pengumpulan data instrumen, perencanaan waktu penelitian, pengembangan produk awal, validasi serta uji coba kelayakan. Data diperoleh dari siswa kelas VIII. Kevalidan soal tes menunjukkan kategori valid dengan rata-rata sebesar 82,2. Keefektifan instrumen soal menunjukkan kategori efektif dengan rata-rata sebesar 78,5. Kepraktisan soal tes angket respons siswa menunjukkan kategori praktis dengan rata-rata sebesar 79,8. Kemudian dari hasil data di atas, disimpulkan bahwa pengembangan soal open ended pada materi bangun ruang sisi datar di SMP valid, efektif dan praktis

Abstract

The research aims to analyze narratively critical thinking and communication skills using the Android-based TransGeo application on geometry transformation in junior high school. This study uses a qualitative with a descriptive method obtained from tests and interviews. The test contains contextual problems in the android application, while the interviews are based on student test answers. Then, test results are adjusted descriptively by presenting the achievement of each student to be categorized based on critical thinking and communication scoring. Next, one student was randomly selected from each category as the interview subject. The indicator of critical thinking skills is the most difficult to achieve in the fourth indicator. Students are less precise in writing conclusions related to the initial problem; the indicator that many students succeed is the first indicator where students have written what is known and asked in difficulties. The indicator of communication skills is the most difficult to achieve in the second indicator. Students did not describe or write mathematical sentences to present an explanation of the transformation type or final position area in the problem. Many students achieve the first indicator, where they have written what they know and are asked about.

Abstract

This research aims to describe students' visual thinking abilities when learning linear programming using LiveWorksheets assisted by GeoGebra for class XI students at SMA Negeri Ngoro. This research uses a quasi-experimental method with the research design used is Pre-Test Post-Test One Group Design. And the data analysis technique used is descriptive and inferential analysis. The sample for this research was 21 students of class XI IPA 3. The results of this research using descriptive analysis showed that students' visual thinking abilities increased after being taught with GeoGebra. This can be seen from the difference in the increase in pre-test and post-test scores obtained. Meanwhile, inferential analysis using the t-test also shows that there is an influence of using GeoGebra on students' visual thinking abilities. This can be seen because the Sig value obtained is 0.001 which is smaller than 0.05.

Abstract

This research is qualitative research that aimed to investigate the results of the development of learning media by students to improve school students' creative performance and students' creative thinking using the Kodular application. This study focuses on the problem of the lack of learning media at the junior high school level which is used as a means of independent learning for students at home. The subject was a class of The Department of Mathematics Education. The research subjects were 41 students in the department of mathematics education. data were taken using observation and documentation techniques that were adapted to mathematical creative thinking indicators. Interactive multimedia developed by students in the form of mathematical material presented in text form, containing equations, screenshots of graphics from the Desmos application, and video explanations of the material. Furthermore, practice questions and post-tests are presented using the help of Google Form, Quizziz, and Liveworksheets so that users get a direct response to the answers to the questions so that they meet the interactive characteristics of the learning media. The results obtained are 41 students are able to develop interactive multimedia that is run through an android application in junior high school mathematics learning. Creative thinking skills are achieved by using the dimensions of fluency, flexibility, and originality. This is achieved from media development carried out by students The creative performance of students reaches the usefulness dimension but has not been able to reach the novelty of the interactive multimedia that has been developed.

Abstract

AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi kemudian menganalisis gaya berpikir matematis mahasiswa Semester V dalam menyelesaikan soal bertipe tingkat tinggi. Penelitian ini berjenis deskriptif dengan data kualitatif berupa hasil tes mahasiswa pada Mata Kuliah Struktur Aljabar. Jumlah mahasiswa yang diberikan tes bertipe tingkat tinggi berjumlah 22 orang yang direduksi menjadi enam orang. Hasil penelitian ini didasarkan pada karakteristik gaya berpikir matematis ditinjau dari dimensi pembelajaran yaitu konservatif dan liberal. Berdasar hasil penelitian, mahasiswa dengan gaya berpikir matematis tipe konservatif menyelidiki subgrup dengan menggunakan definisi subgrup yaitu menggunakan langkah-langkah pembuktian grup antara lain tertutup, asosiatif, mempunyai elemen identitas, dan invers. Gaya berpikir matematis tipe konservatif cenderung menggunakan strategi penyelesaian masalah yang telah dikenal dan dilakukan sebelumnya. Mahasiswa dengan gaya berpikir liberal menyelidiki subgrup dengan menggunakan Teorema One Step Subgroup Test dan Two Steps Subgroup Test sehingga ada beberapa tahapan pembuktian grup yang dieliminasi. Mahasiswa dengan gaya berpikir matematis tipe liberal menggunakan pengetahuan terbaru yang diperolehnya sehingga pengetahuan lama diadaptasi.Kata Kunci: gaya berpikir matematis, gaya berpikir matematis tipe liberal, gaya berpikir matematis tipe konservatif, soal bertipe tingkat tinggi  AbstractThis research aimed to identify and then analyze the mathematical thinking style V Semester student in resolving the high-ordered thinking skill. This was a descriptive study using qualitative data in the form of student test results on Algebraic Structures Courses. The number of students who were given a high degree of type tests amounted to 22 students who were reduced to six men. The results of this research were based on the characteristics of the style of thinking mathematically in terms of the dimensions of learning that was conservative and liberal. Based on the results of research, students with mathematical thinking styles of the conservative type investigate largest using the definition of largest i.e. used measures of proof among other group was closed, associative, has an identity element, and the inverse. Mathematical thinking conservative type styles tend to use the strategies of solving problems that have been known and done before. Students with liberal thinking investigate largest style by using the theorem of One Step Subgroup Test and Two Steps Subgroup Test so that there were several stages of proof the group was eliminated. Students with mathematical thinking liberal type styles using the latest knowledge acquired so that the old knowledge was adapted.Keywords: mathematics thinking style, liberal mathematics thinking style, conservative mathematics thinking style, high-ordered thinking problems
