Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh penerapan kurikulum yang telah berjalan selama dua tahun dan belum semua sekolah menerapkan kurikulum ini pada semua tingkatan kelas sehingga diperlukan adaptasi pada tingkatan kelas yang baru diterapkan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan kesiapan dan hasil belajar siswa pada Kurikulum Merdeka. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif yang diperoleh dari data angket dan hasil tes. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa Kelas VII, sedangkan instrumen penelitian menggunakan lembar wawancara, observasi dan angket. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kesiapan siswa dalam menerapkan Kurikulum Mandiri belum optimal dengan persentase respon positif dari angket masih dibawah 50%. Hasil belajar kedua kelas yang diamati menunjukkan rata-rata penilaian formatif sebesar 62,85 dan 67,63 sehingga dapat dikatakan hasil belajar tersebut belum memenuhi nilai ketuntasan belajar minimal. Abstract:  This research is motivated by the implementation of the curriculum which has been ongoing for two years and not all schools have implemented this curriculum at all grade levels so adaptation is needed for the newly implemented grade levels. The aim of this research is to describe students' readiness and learning outcomes in the Merdeka Curriculum. The research method used is descriptive with a qualitative approach obtained from questionnaire data and test results. The research subjects were Class VII students, while the research instruments used interview sheets, observations and questionnaires. The research results show that students' readiness to implement the Independent Curriculum is not optimal with the percentage of positive responses from the questionnaire still below 50%. The learning results of the two classes observed showed an average formative assessment of 62.85 and 67.63, so it can be said that the learning results did not meet the minimum learning completeness value.

Abstract

Student’s critical thinking skills that are currently still low are important to develop because they affect the way students think in solving problems. The problem-based learning model with the inquiry method used to help improve student’s critical thinking skills. The iSpring learning media used can help students understand the material. The research results were obtained from the output of the paired sample t-test, a significance value 0.05, so it was concluded that there was a difference between before applying the learning model and after applying the learning model. The results of the questionnaire responses to the media also resulted in positive responses from students.

Abstract

Melalui Focussed Group Discussion, guru menjelaskan bahwa permasalahan pembelajaran matematika yaitu belum adanya media pembelajaran matematika yang menarik untuk digunakan selama pembelajaran pasca pandemic dengan moda tatap muka. Padahal, selama pandemi, siswa kurang dapat memahami materi dan bosan dengan pembelajaran matematika yang disajikan melalui power point memuat teks secara penuh. Hal ini melandasi penelitian ini yang bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pengembangan media pembelajaran matematika interaktif berbantuan MATLAB. Penelitian berjenis pengembangan menggunakan model 4D yaitu define, design, develop, dan disseminate. Tahap awal yaitu mengidentifikasi kebutuhan sekolah terkait kecukupan materi dan kemampuan awal siswa maupun guru. Selanjutnya, dilakukan perancangan media menggunakan MATLAB. Pengembangan media dilakukan dengan mengujicobakan secara terbatas pada satu kelas di SMP dan satu kelas di SMA. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan diantaranya lembar tes dan lembar angket respon siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media pembelajaran interaktif yang dikembangkan menggunakan MATLAB efektif untuk diujicobakan pada pembelajaran matematika di berbagai sekolah. Hal ini ditunjukkan dari hasil uji coba media, siswa mampu lulus tes dengan skor di atas KKM dan respon siswa positif terhadap kemenarikan dan kemudahan penggunaan media.

Abstract

Urgensi penelitian ini didasarkan pada fenomena mahasiswa yang kurang memahami konsep matematika pada semester akhir. Akibatnya, terjadi miskonsepsi pada konsep matematika sekolah terutama pada penggunaan istilah dan tahapan pemecahan masalah. Apabila diberikan permasalahan yang menuntut penggunaan strategi yang berbeda dari yang diajarkan, mahasiswa akan mengalami kesulitan. Oleh sebab itu, tujuan penelitian ini yaitu mendeskripsikan penalaran matematika kreatif mahasiswa level pemahaman konsep. Metode penelitian menggunakan mixed method dimana data kuantitatif digunakna untuk menganalisis perbedaan pretes dan postest sedangkan data kualitatif untuk mendeskripsikan penalaran kreatif mahasiswa. Subyek penelitian yaitu mahasiswa yang menempuh perkuliahan Analisis Variabel Kompleks. Analisis didasarkan pada hasil tes dan wawancara secara kuantitatif untuk mengukur perbedaan hasil pretest dan posttest serta analisis data kualitatif berdasar hasil jawaban tes dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan mahasiswa berada pada level pemahaman konsep parsial. Adapun kemampuan penalaran kreatif mahasiswa memenuhi aspek matematika dasar dan masuk akal

Abstract

The urgency of this research is based on the phenomenon of the Minimum Competency Assessment (AKM), which has so far only involved students and teachers in schools. To date, there has been no national assessment specifically designed for prospective mathematics teachers, even though numeracy literacy is an essential competency for teacher candidates. Therefore, this study aims to describe the strategies for strengthening numeracy literacy among prospective mathematics teachers and to evaluate their implementation outcomes. This study employed a descriptive method with a mixed-methods approach. Quantitative analysis was conducted using literacy and numeracy test results to measure differences between first-year and third-year students, while qualitative analysis was based on interviews with lecturers to explore the strategies previously implemented to strengthen numeracy literacy. The results revealed that lecturers implemented several strategies, including independent project assignments, reading tasks followed by presentations, and exercises to complete incomplete information on lecture topics. Statistical tests indicated a significant difference between the literacy and numeracy skills of first-year and third-year students. The interview findings suggested that this difference was influenced by the higher mastery of basic mathematical concepts and a better understanding of mathematical reasoning among third-year students. This study contributes to the field of mathematics education by offering alternative strategies to enhance numeracy literacy among prospective mathematics teachers as a foundation for developing literacy- and numeracy-based university courses.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengembangkan perangkat pembelajaran yang valid, praktis, dan efektif. Perangkat pembelajaran yang dikembangkan adalah RPP dan Bahan Ajar. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa program studi Pendidikan Matematika angkatan 2018 yang sedang menempuh mata kuliah Sumber Belajar dan Media Pembelajaran dan mengikuti praktikum pembuatan media pembelajaran interaktif di Laboratorium Komputer Infokom. Penelitian ini mengguankan metode penelitian 4-D yang dipersingkat menjadi 3-D. Hasil validasi RPP dan Bahan Ajar adalah 89,37%, hasil validasi dari angket respon siswa adalah 89,6%. Hal ini menyatakan bahwa perangkat pembelajaran dan angket respon valid. Hasil perhitungan angket respon siswa menunjukkan tiap poin pernyataan lebih besar atau sama dengan 70 sehingga dapat dikatakan praktis. Hasil tes menyatakan bahwa sebanyak 86% mahasiswa mendapatkan nilai sebesar lebih dari atau sama dengan 75 sehingga pembelajaran dapat dikatakan efektif. Perangkat pembelajaran tersebut dapat dikatakan valid, praktis dan efisien.

Abstract

The background of this research is based on previous studies that emphasize the importance of mastering basic teaching skills for prospective teachers to support effective learning. The purpose of this study was to explore undergraduate students’ basic teaching skills in managing mathematics classes through microteaching activities. This study employed a case study method involving 29 undergraduate preservice teachers from the second cohort of the Mathematics Education Study Program. Data were analyzed through triangulation of primary literature on teaching skills, classroom observations, and microteaching document studies. The reconstruction of the Outcome Based Education (OBE) curriculum produced a course titled Innovative Learning Design, which includes outputs in the form of learning tools, microteaching sessions, and microteaching videos. The findings revealed that all basic teaching skills were performed satisfactorily. The most prominent skills were opening and closing lessons and using technology-integrated media. In contrast, the least evident skills were explaining and providing reinforcement, as some preservice teachers had not yet mastered prerequisite or fundamental mathematics concept. Based on these findings, it is recommended that future research analyze the influence of basic teaching skills on student learning outcomes and active student engagement in class.

Abstract

Formative assessments are important to determine learning success. There are many types of formative assessments, including numeracy literacy and project types. This research aimed to quantitatively analyze the differences in numeracy literacy-based formative assessments and project results during Social Statistics lectures. The research method used was descriptive with a quantitative approach. The research instrument used was the results of a formative assessment in the form of the Mid-Semester Examination.. Data analysis used descriptive statistical tests to present data and inferential statistics from the research sample, namely students of the 4th Semester 2023 Communication Science Study Program. Based on the results of descriptive statistics, the average results of the experimental class were higher than those of the control class. The results showed that the results of the formative assessment were normally distributed and homogeneous. The results of inferential statistical tests show that there is a significant difference between the test results in the experimental class and the control class. The next research recommendation is to design lectures using learning models that are relevant to numeracy literacy-based formative assessments

Abstract

Abstract Mentoring e-learning aimed to create innovation learning in particular means of evaluation of learning mathematics-based technology. E-Learning is one of the technological innovations combined with learning, one of the benefits purposed to evaluate learning using the internet. The method of the implementation of mentoring started from observation and permitting. The next stages were prepared the e-learning modules. Stage of implementation was done for four meetings. The final stage i.e. the analysis of implementation mentoring. The results of the training participants, i.e. in this case the teacher, already have e-learning account through Google Classroom or Edmodo. In addition, teachers could create and upload the instrument of learning evaluation in this assignment of unbounded time using separate files as well as the quiz online. Teachers could also manipulate the score by way of export grade from Edmodo in the form file formats such as Excel and calculate an average, specify the maximum value or the minimum value. Learning evaluation of the instrument, in this case, a math problem, have been able to be uploaded directly by the teacher using the equation to write mathematics. In this case, the teacher uses the format of the equation in the form of LaTeX.Keywords: Training of E-Learning, Edmodo, Google Classroom, LaTeX, Evaluation of Mathematics Learning  Abstrak Pendampingan dan pelatihan pembuatan e-learning bertujuan untuk menciptakan inovasi pembelajaran khususnya sarana evaluasi pembelajaran matematika berbasis teknologi. E-Learning merupakan salah satu inovasi teknologi yang dikombinasikan dengan pembelajaran, salah satunya diamanfaatkan untuk mengevaluasi pembelajaran melalui internet. Metode pelaksanaan pendampingan dan pelatihan diawali dari observasi dan perijinan. Tahapan selanjutnya yaitu penyusunan modul e-learning. Tahap pelaksanaan dilakukan selama empat pertemuan. Tahap akhir yaitu analisis keterlaksanaan pendampingan dan pelatihan. Hasil pelatihan yaitu peserta pelatihan, dalam hal ini guru, sudah mempunyai akun e-learning melalui google classroom maupun edmodo. Selain itu, guru dapat membuat dan mengupload instrument evaluasi pembelajaran dalam hal ini penugasan berbatas waktu menggunakan file terpisah maupun kuis secara online. Guru juga dapat mengolah skor dengan cara mengekspor grade pada edmodo dalam bentuk file berformat Excel dan menghitung rata-rata, menentukan nilai maksimum maupun nilai minimum. Instrumen evaluasi pembelajaran, dalam hal ini soal matematika, telah dapat diupload secara langsung oleh guru menggunakan equation untuk menuliskan matematika. Abstract

Numeracy and logical thinking skills need to be accommodated in lectures, especially logic and algorithm lectures. The purpose of this study is to develop a digital project-based lecture design assisted by the Scratch Application to accommodate students' numeracy and logical thinking skills. The research method uses the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Develop, Implementation, Evaluation) development model with 20 students as trial subjects. The research instruments used were observations of the implementation of the lecture model and the provision of tests so that the data analysis technique used was using inferential statistical tests to see the effectiveness of the lecture model compared to the lecture model using the discussion method. The results of the study showed a digital project in the form of making simple animations in the form of games by applying mathematical logic rules when compiling scripts. The use of branching and looping algorithms is able to accommodate students' abilities in logical thinking so that there is a systematic thinking pattern. In conclusion, the digital project-based lecture design assisted by Scratch has significant differences with the lecture model using the discussion method based on students' numeracy and logical thinking skills.
