Abstract

This research uses quantitative methods. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the application of the handball shooting skills training model to improve the shooting skills of novice athletes. The research design in this study was the one group control pretest-posttest. The research has been carried out in several handball sports clubs in Palembang, South Sumatera. Based on the results of the test of the effectiveness of the application of the handball shooting skills training model that has been carried out, the N-Gain Score test results obtained on the results of the shooting skills obtained by an average N-Gain Score for the experimental class of 86.88% with the "effective" category, the value N-Gain Score at least 68% and maximum N-Gain Score of 100%. Meanwhile, the average N-Gain Score for the control class is 25.63% with the "ineffective" category, the minimum N-Gain Score is 8.33% and the maximum N-Gain Score is 53.85%, so it can be concluded that the application of the development model is proven. Effective so as to improve the shooting skills of novice athletes. So thus from the results of this study it is recommended to teachers, coaches and novice athletes to be able to use the product training model that has been developed

Abstract

In this research, the development of basic manupulative motion learning will be carried out through a game approach designed using learning principles starting from movement with easy elements to the most difficult. The development of maipulative basic motion learning will be developed with 4 manipulative basic motion models using simple tools that are easily available with a level of security that suits the characteristics of elementary school children. Basic manipulative motion learning will be developed through a play approach expected to provide a good stimulus for children's development in order to master motion well with fun learning. The development of basic manipulative motion learning through a play approach will be outlined in the form of a monograph book of research results as a source of learning and reference for schools. This development product will be tested by adopting the development and research of borg and gall with 4 stages only according to research needs. The objectives of the study are 1) Developing manipulative basic motion learning through an approach to playing at the elementary school level. It is hoped that this development can be implemented at the education unit level and can even be used in society in general to learn basic manipulative movements more enjoyably.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the role of the Formula 1 game model (Run, Jump, Throw) in locomotor activity. The method in this study uses a qualitative approach to the type of literature study. This study seeks to explore document studies regarding the study of the Formula 1 game model (Run, Jump, Throw) in general and then relate it to the physical learning process in SDN 67 Palembang. Because nature of physical education in elementary schools is an educational process that aims to build the growth and development of students from the physical, intellectual, movement skill, and attitude aspects that are carried out through physical activity or gestures so that they become healthy, intelligent, skilled human beings, and virtuous character so that it can have a good influence on the quality of his life in the future. It is necessary to pay attention to the implementation of physical education in schools because in supporting the growth and development of students it is also determined by the implementation of physical education in schools. Physical education teachers must be more creative in optimizing the developed facilities and infrastructure. If the physical education teacher is creative, then he is able to create something new, or modify an existing one, but present it in the most attractive way possible, so that students will be more interested and enjoy participating in the physical education learning process.

Abstract

Conventional learning and student-centered learning tend to affect students' interest in learning, especially in physical education learning material passing down techniques. This research is qualitative descriptive research with a type of survey research. The population of this study was 80 students. The sample of this study used a random sampling technique so the number of samples in this study was 40 people. Respondents in this study as many as 40 students, the conclusion of this study is that more interactive and fun learning through games for the level of effectiveness of learning basic passing techniques under basketball is in the good category. The purpose of this study aims to determine the level of student interest in learning basic passing techniques under volleyball at the junior high school level of North Musi Rasawa Regency.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine students’ interest in learning physical education in shooting soccer material through games. This research was conducted on fifth grade students at SD Negeri 162 Palembang. Data collection techniques were carried out by means of observation, documentation studies, interviews, and tests. Data analysis techniques were carried out qualitatively and quantitatively. Based on the results of the development it can be concluded: (1) it can be reversion corner teachers; (2) learning has several types of games shooting; (3) this learning will increase children’s interest in taking corner lessons; (4) contribution to the science of education, especially in the field of sports; and (5) make learning more creative and interesting.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the results and analyze the ability of backhand drive techniques in students who take part in extracurricular table tennis at SMA Negeri 5 Lubukinggau. This study is quantitative descriptive research. The research sample amounted to 16 students who participated in extracurricular table tennis at SMA Negeri 5 Lubuklinggau, from this study the results were obtained namely the ability to hit backhand drives with the category “very good” numbered 0 people with a percentage of 0%, in the category “good” amounted to 2 people with a percentage of 12.50%, in the category “medium” amounted to 4 people with a percentage of 25%, in the theory of “less” there were 8 people with a percentage of 25%, while the “very less” category consists of 2 people with a percentage of 2.50%, thus it can be concluded that the results of backhand drive hitting ability in students who take part in extracurricular table tennis at SMA Negeri 5 Lubuklinggau are in the “less” category with average results of 25.68.

Abstract

Learning basketball games is a team game that exists in physical education subjects, basketball games have many basic techniques that students must master. Game variations are a form of various kinds of basketball learning that is fun in various forms of games. The learning process does not all go well, one of the problems that occur during the learning process is either caused by inappropriate learning methods or approaches. The purpose of this study was to determine students' perceptions of game variations on basketball learning outcomes. The population in this study was grade VII students of State Junior High School 1 Lubuklinggau with a sample of 38 students used. Data collection in this study used questionnaires shared through Google forms. Based on the results of the analysis data, it is said that students' perceptions of game variations get a good response, students are happier and more motivated to follow learning if given many game variations. With the perception of (1) Student Interest obtained a score of 81.05% with a very good category, (2) Student Sincerity in basketball learning obtained a score of 83.82% with a very good category, (3) Student needs developed a variety of basketball learning obtained a score of 95.25% with a very good category. Of the total students, they said that they were happy because they were given a variety of games so that the material provided was easy to understand.

Abstract

This study examines the effect of traditional games on the physical condition of elementary school children. Because of the lack of enthusiasm to move, the child looks unenthusiastic. This of course weakens the condition of students. It also weakens children's mobility and physical condition, and they get sick easily. The purpose of this study: The effect of traditional games on improving student fitness at SDN 02 Riang Bandung. One type of research is library research or often called library research. The nature of the descriptive analysis of this research is so that readers can understand it well. The data used in this study is additional data obtained from the results of research conducted by previous researchers. The data collection method used in this study is the method of recording or documentation. The data analysis used in this article is annotated bibliography analysis. Based on the literature review, it can be stated that the application of traditional games can be a solution to improve the physical fitness of elementary school children. Supporting factors are good student motivation, the role of parents and the environment, and sufficient opportunities to play.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of two-obstacle jump rope training on the results of long jump squatting style of grade VI students of SD Negeri 2 Toman in the 2022/2023 academic year. The variables in the study, namely the exercise of jumping rope two obstacles as the independent variable (X) and the results of long jump squatting style as the dependent variable (Y). The population in this study was 212 male students of grade VI SD Negeri 2 Toman. The samples in this study were taken by 2 classes using cluster random sampling techniques so that class V1a was obtained as an experimental class of 17 students, and V1b as a control class of 17 students. The method used in this study is experimental. Data collection is carried out by means of tests. The data obtained from the tests are analyzed by averaging and using t-test statistics. The results of data analysis showed that the average increase in squatting style long jump ability of experimental group students was better than the control group or 0.12 > 0.05. The results of hypothesis testing are shown by the value of the calculated test coefficient greater than the t-table coefficient or 3.28 > 1.696, then Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, this means that there is an effect of jumping rope training two obstacles on the results of long jump squatting style of grade VI students of SD Negeri 2 Toman.

Abstract

This study aims to determine students’ perceptions of short-distance running learning models through traditional games based on (1) Perceptions of knowledge of learning short-distance running, (2) Perceptions of teachers’ teaching styles, (3) Perceptions of the media used, (4) Perceptions of interest in learning short-distance running, (5) Perceptions of the need to develop short-distance running learning models through traditional games. This research is descriptive quantitative research. The results of this study showed that (1) Perception of knowledge of learning to run short distances obtained a score of 93.50% in the very good category, (2) Perception of teacher teaching style obtained a score of 78.50% in the good category, (3) Perception of the media used was easy to use obtained a score of 88% in the very good category, (4) Perception of interest in learning physical education obtained a value of 96.30% in the very good category, (5) The perception of the need to develop a learning model of basic volleyball techniques through a playing approach obtained a score of 100% in the very good category, which means that students agree if the development of a learning model of short-distance running through traditional games is developed. The results of this study show that students’ perceptions of the development of short-distance running learning models through traditional games in elementary schools in North Musi Rawas Regency are positive, for that it is necessary to develop short-distance running learning models through traditional games.
