Abstract

Lack of understanding about computer networks and routing configurations poses a challenge for students and the general public interested in technology. To address this, a Webinar and Workshop titled “Introduction to Networking Infrastructure on Cisco Packet Tracer: Routing a Home-to-Home Network to a Central Server” was held. The event aimed to provide theoretical and practical knowledge of computer networks and routing simulations using Cisco Packet Tracer. The Webinar covered basics such as network types, IP addresses, and an introduction to Cisco Packet Tracer, while the Workshop focused on hands-on practice. Evaluation revealed a significant improvement in participants' understanding, with average Pre-Test scores rising from 70% to 90% in the Post-Test. Attended by 40 participants from various institutions, 95% expressed satisfaction with the material and presenter delivery. The activity successfully enhanced participants' knowledge and skills in computer networking.

Abstract

The development of technology opens up opportunities for individuals to develop new skills, including in the increasingly popular game industry. To provide a basic understanding of game development, a Webinar and Workshop entitled “Game Development With Python: Let's Build a Simple Game!”. This activity consists of material presentation sessions in the Webinar and hands-on practice in the Workshop. Evaluation through questionnaires showed positive responses to the presenters and the material presented. Of the 37 participants who participated, the Pre-Test and Post-Test results showed an increase in understanding with an average initial score of 67.3% which increased to 89.4%. A total of 67.6% of participants expressed very satisfied, while 32.4% were satisfied. These results show that this activity succeeded in increasing participants' understanding and skills in developing simple games using Python, as well as making a positive contribution to students and the general public.

Abstract

Pneumonia merupakan salah satu penyebab utama kematian anak balita di seluruh dunia. Penyakit ini disebabkan oleh bakteri, virus, atau jamur yang menyebabkan paru-paru terisi nanah dan cairan sehingga menyulitkan anak-anak dalam bernafas. Organisasi Kesehatan Dunia (WHO) menyebutkan 99% kematian anak akibat pneumonia terjadi di negara berkembang. Salah satu cara pengidentifikasi penyakit pneumonia adalah dengan melakukan rontgen x-ray. Hasil rontgen x-ray termasuk citra kompleks sehingga diperlukan metode yang sesuai untuk melakukan identifikasi. Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) merupakan salah satu metode dalam deep learning yang dapat digunakan untuk melakukan klasifikasi. Pada penelitian ini dilakukan klasifikasi terhadap hasil rontgen x-ray paru-paru anak dengan menggunakan CNN. Klasifikasi dibagi kedalam dua kelas, yaitu terindikasi pneumonia dan normal. Hasil uji coba menunjukkan CNN dapat digunakan untuk melakukan klasifikasi apakah seorang anak terindikasi pneumonia atau tidak berdasarkan hasil rontgen x-ray paru-paru anak dengan tingkat akurasi 0.9632 dan loss 0.1139.

Abstract

A webinar and workshop titled "Introduction to Digital Forensics" was held online on July 12, 2025, to improve public understanding of digital data security. Twenty participants attended the event, which included both a pre-test and a post-test. Results showed an increase in participant understanding, with scores on volatile data increasing from 73.7% to 88.2%, on non-volatile data from 72.2% to 82.4%, and on the definition of digital forensics from 84.2% to 88.2%. Furthermore, participant satisfaction was high, with 60% scoring excellent and 30% scoring good. This event was deemed successful in providing a basic understanding of digital forensics and raising awareness of the importance of data protection in the digital age.

Abstract

In the digital transformation era, many local and student organizations still face issues related to the lack of professional websites, low digital visibility, and limited IT personnel. This community service project aimed to support these organizations by accelerating and optimizing the development of organizational websites using React.js for front-end interface creation and Node.js as the server-side runtime. Through a series of workshops and technical mentoring conducted during the KKN program at Universitas Muhammadiyah Jakarta, the team implemented a step-by-step approach: from system requirement analysis, project initialization using React CLI, component-based user interface development, integration with Tailwind CSS for styling, to deployment via GitHub Pages. The program enabled participants to directly practice developing responsive, maintainable, and scalable websites that reflect modern web standards. The outcomes show that React.js significantly increases development speed and modularity, while Tailwind CSS enhances visual consistency and ease of use. Community partners gained new skills and were able to independently manage and expand their organizational websites post-program. This activity contributes to improving the digital competency of grassroots organizations and promoting technology adoption for sustainability.

Abstract

A limited understanding of Front End Web Development remains a significant obstacle for many students and the general public, particularly in mastering modern frameworks like ReactJS. To address this issue, the community service team from the Informatics Engineering Study Program at the University of Muhammadiyah Jakarta organized a webinar and workshop titled “Level Up Your Front-End Skills With React JS” as part of their community service initiative. This activity combines an online approach to delivering material with hands-on practice to provide participants with a comprehensive understanding. The training material covers basic web development concepts, React JS component structure, state management, and implementing a simple mind mapping application. The effectiveness of the activity was evaluated through pre-tests, post-tests, and participant feedback surveys. The evaluation results showed a significant improvement in participants' understanding, with an average pre-test score of 79.5% increasing to 89.7% on the post-test. Additionally, feedback indicated positive responses to the quality of material delivery and the relevance of the content. This activity successfully expanded access to Front-End Web Development technology learning and contributed to developing digital talent adaptable to current industry needs.

Abstract

In the modern era, having a digital portfolio is an important requirement for students and aspiring professionals in the field of technology. To support this, LinkedIn profile management and project publication to GitHub are strategies that can be applied. The activity themed "Boost Your Digital Portfolio: From LinkedIn Profile to GitHub Repository" was held to equip participants with this understanding and skills. The activity consisted of two sessions: a webinar that discussed the preparation of LinkedIn profiles and the use of GitHub as a medium for project publication, and a workshop that focused on developing a template-based portfolio website and publication to the GitHub repository. Evaluation was conducted through a feedback questionnaire. The results showed that 47.9% of participants were satisfied and 48.1% were very satisfied. This shows that the majority of participants gave a positive response to the material, resource persons, and the overall implementation of the activity.

Abstract

This community engagement project aimed to enhance digital literacy by providing practical training on building online portfolios using Flowbite and Tailwind CSS. The initiative targeted students and beginners who lacked prior experience in creating web-based portfolios. Through a combination of webinars and hands-on workshops, participants were introduced to the fundamentals of portfolio design, User-Centered Design (UCD) principles, and modern UI development using Flowbite components. The project implemented a project-based learning approach to ensure both theoretical understanding and technical skills acquisition. The event was held virtually on July 14, 2025, and attended by 33 participants, with 21 actively engaged during the session. A pre-test and post-test were administered to evaluate learning outcomes. The results showed a significant improvement in participants' understanding, with the average score increasing from 73.5 to 87. Additionally, 95% of participants expressed satisfaction with the training format and content. The program successfully equipped participants with the necessary knowledge and skills to develop responsive and aesthetically pleasing online portfolios, contributing to their personal branding efforts in the digital era.

Abstract

In the era of digital transformation, backend development skills are crucial for students, especially in the field of information technology. This community service activity aimed to provide students with fundamental understanding and skills in building REST APIs using Laravel 12, a modern PHP framework widely used in the industry. The activity, titled “Building Your First Backend Project With Laravel 12”, consisted of two sessions: a webinar that introduced the MVC architecture, Laravel installation, and REST API structure, and a hands-on workshop focusing on configuring the project, database connection, and implementing CRUD endpoints. The event was conducted online and attended by 20 participants from various institutions. Evaluation was carried out through pre-test and post-test assessments, as well as a feedback questionnaire. The results showed an increase in participants’ understanding of backend development using Laravel. Most participants expressed satisfaction with the materials and the presenters. Abstract

Dalam era digital yang terus berkembang, teknologi informasi dan komunikasi menjadi esensial dalam kehidupan sehari-hari, dengan penggunaan perangkat digital yang meningkat. Forensik komputer, menggabungkan prinsip ilmu komputer dan prosedur hukum, penting dalam mengidentifikasi dan menganalisis kejahatan digital. Namun, kurangnya pemahaman dalam bidang ini menjadi masalah utama. Untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut, Program Studi Teknik Informatika Fakultas Teknik Universitas Muhammadiyah Jakarta mengadakan webinar dan workshop yang bertema "LEARN HOW TO BE A DIGITAL DETECTIVE". Kegiatan ini bertujuan membekali peserta dengan kemampuan mengidentifikasi, menganalisis, dan mengamankan bukti digital, meningkatkan keamanan informasi, dan menjawab tantangan kejahatan siber yang kompleks. Metode yang digunakan mencakup presentasi, diskusi, dan latihan praktis. Hasilnya, terdapat peningkatan rata-rata nilai peserta dari 80 pada pretest menjadi 82,31 pada posttest, yang menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman dan keterampilan peserta. Peserta juga diharapkan memiliki pengetahuan dasar forensik komputer dan keterampilan menerapkan teknik forensik dalam penyelidikan digital, agar siap menghadapi ancaman siber di berbagai sektor
