Abstract

Dalam era digital saat ini, media sosial, khususnya YouTube, menjadi salah satu platform utama dalam menyampaikan pesan visual yang menarik dan bermakna. Komunikasi nonverbal, seperti ekspresi wajah, gestur, dan penggunaan elemen visual lainnya, memainkan peran penting dalam membangun keterhubungan emosional antara kreator dan penonton. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode analisis isi. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi mendalam terhadap konten Kelana Bentala dan dokumentasi yang relevan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa komunikasi nonverbal dalam video Kelana Bentala memiliki dampak signifikan dalam menyampaikan pesan tentang eksplorasi alam, budaya, dan nilai-nilai lingkungan. Melalui penggunaan gestur, ekspresi wajah, dan visual yang mendukung, konten ini mampu meningkatkan keterlibatan audiens serta memperkuat makna yang ingin disampaikan. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa komunikasi nonverbal dalam media digital, khususnya YouTube, dapat menjadi alat komunikasi yang efektif dalam menyampaikan pesan yang mendalam dan emosional. Temuan ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi bagi studi komunikasi serta menjadi referensi bagi kreator konten dalam memanfaatkan komunikasi nonverbal secara optimal dalam karya mereka.

Abstract

Film merupakan salah satu bentuk komunikasi massa yang dapat menyampaikan pesan, nilai, motivasi kepada khalayak luas. Petualangan Sherina 2 adalah film musikal drama yang menghadirkan elemen musik sebagai bagian dari narasi cerita, sekaligus membangun semangat bertualang bagi penontonnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis bagaimana syair-syair dalam musikal drama film ini berkontribusi dalam membangkitkan motivasi bertualang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif dengan pendekatan semiotika Charles Sanders Peirce, yang mengkaji makna tanda dalam syair lagu melalui konsep representamen, objek, dan interpretant. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa syair lagu dalam film ini menyampaikan pesan keberanian, impian, kerja keras, serta kepedulian terhadap lingkungan. Musik yang dinamis, serta koreografi yang menarik semakin memperkuat makna petualangan yang ingin disampaikan. Selain itu, interaksi antar tokoh dalam musikal drama menciptakan emosional dengan penonton, sehingga pesan yang ingin disampaikan lebih efektif. Dengan demikian, film ini tidak hanya menjadi ajang nostalgia bagi generasi yang tumbuh bersama film pertamanya, tetapi juga menjadi sumber inspirasi bagi generasi baru untuk lebih berani mengeksplorasi kehidupan. Kesimpulannya, unsur musikal dalam film Petualangan Sherina 2 memiliki peran penting dalam membangun semangat bertualang dan dapat dijadikan referensi bagi dunia perfilman Indonesia dalam menciptakan karya yang tidak hanya menghibur tetapi juga mendidik dan menginspirasi penonton.

Abstract

Penelitian ini berjudul “Analisis Semiotika Pesan Moral pada Film How to Make Millions Before Grandma Dies”. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pesan moral yang terkandung didalam film How to Make Millions Before Grandma Dies menggunakan analisis semiotika melalui scene yang mengandung pesan moral pada film. Peneliti menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan mencatat dan menganalisis scene yang memuat pesan moral dalam film How to Make Millions Before Grandma Dies. Pendekatan semiotika Roland Barthes diterapkan untuk mengidentifikasi dan memahami makna denotasi, konotasi, dan mitos yang muncul dalam elemen-elemen visual, dialog, dan simbol-simbol di dalam film. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pesan moral yang terkandung pada film How To Make Milions Before Grandma Dies mencakup tiga kategori yaitu, hubungan manusia dengan Tuhan, hubungan manusia dengan diri sendiri, dan hubungan manusia dengan manusia lain dalam lingkungan sosial termasuk dengan alam. Melalui pendekatan semiotika, penelitian ini berhasil mengungkap bahwa film tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai media hiburan, tetapi juga sebagai media penyampaian pesan moral. Dengan analisis yang mendalam, penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi dalam kajian film dan komunikasi visual, serta menjadi referensi bagi penelitian serupa di masa depan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis strategi Humas dalam meningkatkan partisipasi masyarakat pada Pemilihan Serentak (Pilkada) 2024 dengan studi kasus pada Badan Pengawas Pemilihan Umum (Bawaslu) Kota Palembang. Dalam konteks demokrasi Indonesia, partisipasi masyarakat menjadi elemen penting yang menentukan legitimasi proses pemilu. Namun, masih banyak tantangan yang dihadapi, seperti rendahnya kepercayaan publik dan maraknya disinformasi yang dapat menurunkan partisipasi masyarakat. Oleh karena itu, peran Humas Bawaslu menjadi sangat strategis dalam membangun komunikasi yang efektif, transparan, dan partisipatif. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode pengumpulan data melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Narasumber penelitian meliputi pejabat Humas Bawaslu Kota Palembang dan masyarakat yang menjadi target komunikasi lembaga tersebutata yang terkumpul dianalisis menggunakan Model Strategi Komunikasi Humas Cutlip dan Center, yang terdiri dari empat tahapan, yaitu fact finding (pengumpulan fakta), planning (perencanaan), communication (pelaksanaan komunikasi), dan evaluation (evaluasi). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Humas Bawaslu Kota Palembang telah menerapkan berbagai strategi komunikasi, seperti pemanfaatan media sosial sebagai kanal utama sosialisasi, penyajian konten yang edukatif dan menarik, kolaborasi dengan tokoh masyarakat dan influencer lokal, serta respons cepat terhadap masukan dan pengaduan publik. Strategi ini dinilai efektif dalam membangun kedekatan emosional dengan masyarakat, meningkatkan kesadaran politik, dan mendorong partisipasi aktif dalam Pilkada 2024. Namun, Humas juga menghadapi sejumlah tantangan, seperti penyebaran berita hoaks dan sikap apatis sebagian masyarakat yang masih menjadi hambatan. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini menyatakan bahwa strategi Humas Bawaslu Kota Palembang berkontribusi positif dalam upaya meningkatkan partisipasi masyarakat pada Pemilihan Serentak 2024. Keberhasilan strategi ini menjadi pijakan penting bagi lembaga penyelenggara pemilu dalam menciptakan proses demokrasi yang lebih inklusif, transparan, dan dipercaya publik.

Abstract

Radio El John 95.9 FM Palembang is one of the audio media in the city of Palembang. As the only radio that disseminates information about tourism, El John radio certainly has a strategy in its broadcasting. This is what makes researchers interested in finding out the broadcasting strategy for El John 95.9 FM Palembang radio as a tourism medium. This research uses a qualitative approach method. The theory used in this research is a theory developed by Phil Jones which dissects communication strategy into five stages, namely analysis and strategic planning (strategic analysis and planning), strategic design and implementation planning (strategic design amd implementation planning), launching or use of strategies (launching the strategy), follow-up and commitment (follow-up and commitment), and finally the provision of tracking strategies and results (embedding the strategy and tracking results). The results of the research concluded that El John radio, in its broadcast strategy as a tourism medium, makes great use of the latest technology to disseminate information, starting from conventional radio, radiostreaming online, radio apps, social media. In the broadcast, the announcer conveys information enthusiastically and cheerfully so that listeners are interested and enthusiastic about listening to the broadcast. Apart from that, the announcer also often uses interactive sentences, so that the listeners feel like they are being spoken to by the broadcaster. El John Radio also directs throughoutcrew to create tourism content when they are at tourist attractions in order to reach a wider audience so that the goal of El John radio to revive and preserve existing tourist attractions can be realized.

Abstract

This research is entitled "Semiotic Analysis in the Animated Film The Anthem of the Hear". The aim of this research is to determine the meaning of denotation, connotation and myth in the animated film The Anthem Of The Heart. Researchers use descriptive qualitative methods by recording, analyzing, describing the meanings contained in animated films using Roland Barthes' theory of semiotic analysis, namely by analyzing the meaning of denotation, connotation and myth. The data sources used in this research are primary and secondary data. Data collection techniques were carried out by documenting and watching the animated film The Anthem Of The Heart. The research results show that Roland Barthes's semiotics is interesting to use in analyzing a film and has a clear meaning that can be seen from every scene that the researcher analyzes regarding the meaning of denotation, connotation and myth in the animated film The Anthem Of The Heart. The meaning of denotation is a sign that is visible to the five senses, such as images of palaces and outstretched hands, then the meaning of connotation requires a deeper understanding of the meaning of denotation where the meaning of connotation can give rise to various meanings depending on the point of view of the person giving the meaning. The meaning of myth is formed from the meaning of denotation and connotation. According to Barthes, myth is not always related to culture or customs but is also related to ideology that spreads in wider society. It can be seen in the nine scenes that researchers analyzed, such as myths about crying, helping hands, and divorce.

Abstract

This research is entitled "Orchid Souvenir Marketing Communication Strategy in Promoting Products". The aim of this research is to find out what marketing communication strategies Anggrek Souvenir uses in promoting products. This research uses descriptive qualitative methods, collecting data through observation, interviews and documentation. This research uses the concept of marketing mix theory and promotion mix. The results of this research, Orchid Souvenir, apply the concept of marketing mix theory which consists of product, price, place and promotion. and the concept of promotional mix theory, namely advertising, sales promotion, personal/face-to-face selling, public relations and direct marketing to promote products to buyers. Of all the promotional mixes implemented by Anggrek Souvenir, the advertising strategy carried out by posting product photos on social media is not very active and utilized, even though nowadays other business people use social media to promote their products. However, sales promotion is the most effective strategy used by Anggrek Souvenir in promoting its products.

Abstract

The research is motivated by the thrifting business which is experiencing significant growth in Indonesia because the cheap, unique and quality prices offered by thrift shops have become an attractive alternative for shoppers on a limited budget. However, the thrift business is faced with the challenge of competition and the ban on imports of used clothing in Indonesia, which has had a negative impact on thrift traders. Therefore, this research aims to investigate the thrift business strategy carried out by @Ngebedje_store. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with data collection through observation, interviews and documentation. In this research, Promotion Mix theory such as Advertising, Sales Promotion, Publicity and Personal Selling is applied to evaluate the effectiveness of the promotional strategy implemented by Ngebedje Store. The research results show that Ngebedje Store has succeeded in implementing the four elements of the promotional mix well. This strategy has increased customer interest in the products offered, resulting in increased sales, as well as growth in the number of followers on his Instagram account. Apart from that, Ngebedje Store has also succeeded in maintaining customer loyalty by fostering trust, maintaining satisfaction and maintaining good relationships with customers. This ultimately made Ngebedje Store able to survive and compete in the thrift industry in Palembang.

Abstract

Analysis Of The RRI Play Go Application in Streaming Radio Broadcacts (Study at LPP RRI Palembang) Mass media is a communication and information medium that disseminates information and can be accessed by the entire community en masse. One of the forms of mass media that is often found is radio, radio is a broadcast medium as a whole broadcast starting from material preparation, production, preparation of broadcast material, and broadcasting to reception of the broadcast or listeners in a place. There are many radio broadcasts in Indonesia, one of which is RRI (Radio Republik Indonesia), the development of information technology has meant that RRI does not only convey information from conventional radio networks, because RRI has released an application called RRI Play Go, this application provides information that is easily accessible anywhere. and at any time, actual and effective information. RRI Play Go is new media or digital media with the meaning of context media which has a combination of data, sound, text and various kinds of images stored in digital format. The RRI Play Go application has several features, namely, Programs, Music, Podcasts, News, Community, Partner Media and cctv Monitoring. The features available on the RRI Play Go application make all information and programs from various cities to remote areas easy to access, make it easier for users to find communities to build relationships, provide many music genres that can be accessed without time limits, access to news that is guaranteed without hoax and according to facts. The available categories also make it easier to find all the features according to your needs, podcasts with healthy and medical broadcasts, partner media that can be accessed easily and cctv monitoring that can be accessed anytime and anywhere.

Abstract

This research is entitled "The Role of the Vespa Scoots.id Palembang Community in Maintaining Solidarity". Vespa is a vehicle that has its own charm due to its distinctive shape and appearance. As the times progress and become more modern, the Vespa has become a vehicle that is quite popular, although the development of increasingly advanced transportation does not make the Vespa vehicle obsolete. This research aims to determine group communication in the Vespa Scoots.id Palembang Community in maintaining solidarity. The research uses descriptive qualitative methods with data collection techniques of observation, interviews and documentation. In this research, groupthink theory is used. The research results show that the communication between the Vespa Scoots.id Palembang Community group in maintaining solidarity is very high, this is because there is high cohesiveness in the community, there is a sense of family in solving problems, and there is complex decision making. Group communication in the Vespa Scoots.id Palembang community includes small group communication. The solidarity built by the Vespa Scoots.id Palembang Community is mechanical solidarity. Conclusion The Vespa Scoots.id Palembang community has very high solidarity and the group communication process built by the Vespa Scoots.id Palembang community in maintaining solidarity is that the chairman, administrators and members can communicate and can provide each other with ideas, opinions and input for the community.
