Abstract

The understanding of oral and dental diseases in humans for the general public is still low. The community still relies on the expertise of an expert manually at a cost that is quite expensive. To minimize costs and facilitate consultations, a system that can predict the dental and oral disease that is currently being suffered is needed without having to go to the dentist and mouth first. An expert system for predicting dental and oral diseases is an application that can help the general public in diagnosing or predicting dental and oral diseases. So that the community can minimize costs and facilitate consultation. In this study, the forward chaining method was used to formulate rules and added the certainty factor (CF) method which was used to calculate the certainty value so that the determined results were clearer.TThe result of this expert system is a disease that has the greatest certainty value. From the figures obtained, it can be ascertained that the analysis using the interview method gets the most certainty results when compared to the other two methods.

Abstract

Zoonoses are diseases or infections suffered by animals and are naturally transmitted between vertebrates and humans. The development of zoonoses in recent years is a sign of the increasing threat of deadly diseases to humans transmitted by animals. To date, there are no less than 300 animal diseases that can infect humans. The population of domesticated cats in Indonesia is around 15 million and is in the second place with a 66% increase in the world's population [1]. However, this is not matched by the knowledge of the keepers and the availability of sufficient veterinarians. The purpose of this research is to help pet owners, especially cats, to be able to know in advance about the diseases that may attack their cats through the symptoms that arise. In its development, this system obtains data from a veterinarian expert in Malang City where there are 16 diseases that can be diagnosed by the system with 61 symptoms. The development of this system starts from literature study, data collection, data analysis, system design, to system implementation process and validity testing. From the series of studies above, the system's accuracy rate reaches 90%, which means that the system can diagnose cat disease based on symptoms properly and in accordance with the research objectives.

Abstract

In the Madiun, the recording process (incident reporting) carried out by members of the Sector Police still uses printed type and is sent in the form of an official letter. In the police supervision section, the police in this area are still manual, namely recapitulating and printing activities to be reported to the police chief. The purpose of this research is to create a website-based information system that will feature the process of reporting criminal & non-criminal events as well as performance features for police officers who function as supervision and monitoring of police performance. The development method used in this research is a waterfall with the stages of gathering requirements, the design process, implementation, integration or testing and the last is operation. In testing the system, the author uses the Blackbox Testing method in which the functionality of this system will be tested whether it is as expected or not. Based on these tests the authors can draw the conclusion that with this system it can make it easier for police members in the process of reporting criminal and non-criminal events around them and make it easier for the police chief in the process of monitoring or monitoring the performance of his members.

Abstract

Aglaonema ‘Siam Aurora’ is a foliage ornamental plant cultivar commonly used indoors, whose leaf coloration is influenced by shade levels. This study aimed to determine the effect of shade intensity on the vegetaitif and morphological changes of Aglaonema ‘Siam Aurora’. The experiment was arranged in a Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD) with four treatments: control (no shade), and shading using 55% paranet in one, two, and three layers. Observations were made on changes in leaf and stem color using the RHS Colour Chart, as well as on plant morphological growth. The results showed that shading had no significant effect on plant height, leaf length, and leaf width, but significantly affected the number of leaves during weeks 6 to 8. The color of the center and edges of the leaves developed optimally under all treatments, indicating the plant's physiological adaptation to low light conditions. Stem color differed in the early stages but tended to become uniform by week 8. Leaf shape showed initial variation but became uniform after the fifth week. These findings suggest that Aglaonema ‘Siam Aurora’ has high tolerance to low to moderate light intensity, and shading with one to two layers of 55% paranet is effective in maintaining leaf morphology and color. More extreme shading levels and longer planting durations are recommended to further explore morphological responses.

Abstract

Setiap wanita normalnya mendapati menstruasi setiap bulan. Ada sebagian wanita yang mengalami masalah akibat menstruasi yaitu kekurangan Hemoglobin (Hb), yang berakibat anemia. Masalah yang timbul karena anemia adalah Lesu, Letih, Lemah, Lelah, Lalai. Anemia juga dapat mengakibatkan daya tahan tubuh menurunkan prestasi belajar dan produktivitas kerja. Penelitian bertujuan untuk membuktikan tablet tambah darah (TTD) dapat meningkatkan Hb pada Mahasiswi pasca menstruasi. Jenis penelitian penelitian ini adalah Quasy Experiment dengan rancangan one group pre-post design. Jumlah responden yang dijadikan sampel adalah 36 orang menggunakan teknik non probability sampling yaitu dengan purposive sampling. Pengumpulan data dengan melakukan pemeriksaan kadar hemoglobin menggunakan pengukuran Hb otomatis. Semua data berdistribusi normal. Kadar Hb responden sebelum dilakukan intervensi rata-rata 10,96 gr/dl. Kadar Hb setelah intervensi menunjukkan bahwa rerata kadar Hb adalah 12,27 gr/dl. Kesimpulan, terdapat perbedaan kadar hemoglobin mahasiswi. Terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan pada kadar hemoglobin pasca menstruasi sebelum dan sesudah pemberian TTD

Abstract

Utilization of mobile application technology which can be one of the considerations for presenting information in various business actors because of its flexible and easy nature. One of them is the Betawi Babeh Sadeli Restaurant which is currently still implementing a manual ordering method, the waiter records the menu to be ordered, then delivers the order to the kitchen which requires a lot of time and effort. From these problems, the authors provide a solution for designing a food menu ordering application for Android-based mobile devices with the waterfall method. This study aims to design a real-time food menu ordering system for Android-based mobile devices using the waterfall method. The developed application streamlines the ordering process at the Betawi Babeh Sadeli Restaurant. Functionality testing results indicate that 92% of the application features functioned correctly, demonstrating its effectiveness and reliability.

Abstract

Hemoglobin is the main element of red blood cells that functions as a conjugated protein to transport oxygen and carbon dioxide. Hemoglobin levels below normal limits can cause anemia. Indonesia is one of the countries with a fairly high rate of anemia. Anemia is a common health problem among adolescent girls, mainly caused by iron deficiency which is triggered by menstruation and high nutritional needs. Currently, a non-pharmacological approach is an alternative to increase hemoglobin levels in adolescent girls, one of which is by consuming beetroot juice. Indonesia is one of the countries with relatively high anemia rates. Beetroot is rich in iron, folate, and vitamin C which can increase hemoglobin levels in the blood. The type of research used was a quasi-experimental study with a two-group pretest and posttest design, namely providing intervention by giving beetroot juice for 7 days in the morning to students in the eastern region who live in Condongcatur, Depok, Sleman, Yogyakarta. The results of this study were explained using SPSS with a Paired sample t-test with a p value <0.05 and obtained H0 = 0.024 and H7 = 0.001. This means that the sig value <0.05 indicates an effect on hemoglobin levels after the intervention. Before the intervention, the average was 11.1 gr/dl and after the intervention, the average was 12.8 gr/dl. These results indicate that consumption of beetroot juice can significantly increase hemoglobin levels in adolescent girls with anemia.

Abstract

Di Negara berkembang seperti Indonesia banyak ditemukan Masalah kesehatan yang berkaitan dengan kekurangan kebutuhan mikronutrien, apalagi di umur anak masih balita (5 tahun kebawah). Di masa kritis ini menjadi fokus perhatian karena merupakan masa kritis serta menjadi golden age yang tidak dapat terulang kembali. Masalah gizi anak yang utama saat ini sedang dialami adalah tingginya angka stunting. Masalah ini bisa diatasi salah satunya dengan peningkatan pengehuan kader posyandu balita menggunakan media teknologi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan quasy eksperimen dengan sasaran kader posyandu balita sejumlah 38 orang. Penentuan sampel ini dilakukan dengan teknik purposive sampling. Hasilnya ada peningkatan pengethuan kader pada kelompok yang menggunakan media aplikasi SKOPIA (Serikat Pendidikan Komplementer Ibu dan Anak) dengan p-value <0,05. Aplikasi ini dapat direkomendasikan sebagai media untuk meningkatkan pengethaun kader terkait terapi komplementer untuk pencegahan stunting pada anak

Abstract

Latar Belakang: Laboratorium seleksi donor merupakan laboratorium yang digunakan untuk menyeleksi calon pendonor dan harus bebas dari kontaminasi bakteri. Sterilisasi adalah proses membebaskan suatu alat, bahan dan media dari mikroorganisme bersifat patogen. Salah satu sterilisasi yang  digunakan adalah sterilisasi ultraviolet. Uji Efektivitas penyinaran sinar ultraviolet menggunakan media Nutrien Agar  dengan teknik streak  plate. Tujuan:  Mengetahui efektivitas hambatan pertumbuhan bakteri Escherichia coli dan Basillus subtilis pada waktu paparan sinar ultraviolet selama periode waktu 5, 10 dan 15 menit di laboratorium seleksi donor. Metode: Metode penelitian yang digunakan  yaitu True Eksperiment dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Data kemudian dianalisis secara deskritif menggunakan microsoft excel untuk melihat perbedaan jumlah koloni setelah disinari oleh ultraviolet. Hasil : Hasil yang didapatkan dari penelitian menunjukan bahwa kontrol tanpa penyinaran memiliki jumlah pertumbuhan bakteri  > 350 CFU. Hasil penelitian paparan sinar ultraviolet selama periode waktu 15 menit terhadap bakteri Escherichia coli dan Basillus subtilis menunjukan efektivitas dalam menghambat pertumbuhan bakteri, sementara penyinaran dengan periode  5 dan 10 menit masih terdapat banyak bakteri setelah dilakukan penyinaran. Simpulan : Kesimpulan paparan sinar ultraviolet efektif dalam menghambat pertumbuhan bakteri Escherichia coli dan Basillus subtilis pada periode 15 menit dibandingkan dengan durasi paparan selama 5 dan 10 menit.
