Abstract

AbstrakPermasalahan yang sering dialami siswa sekolah dasar yaitu kesulitan dalam melakukan operasi penjumlahan dan pengurangan yang melibatkan bilangan bulat negatif. Penggunaan buku paket dari pemerintah dan LKS hanya memuat soal-soal rutin yang hanya mengembangkan pengetahuan dan kecepatan siswa dalam berhitung tetapi belum mengembangkan keterampilan berfikir kritis dan kreatif mereka. Dampak dari penggunaan bahan ajar tersebut siswa kesulitan dalam memahami materi bilangan bulat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendiskripsikan pembelajaran dengan menggunakan modul pembelajaran penjumlahan dan pengurangan bilangan bulat dengan pendekatan CTL yang dapat meningkatkan pemahaman konsep siswa kelas IV Sekolah Dasar. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu penelitian tindakan kelas dengan subjek penelitian yaitu 20 siswa kelas IVB SDN Kotalama 1 Malang. Produk penelitian ini berupa rancangan pembelajaran dengan menggunakan modul pembelajaran penjumlahan dan pengurangan bilangan bulat dengan pendekatan CTL. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan penggunaan modul pembelajaran penjumlahan dan pengurangan bilangan bulat dengan pendekatan CTL dapat meningkatkan pemahaman konsep siswa kelas IV SDN Kotalama 1 Malang dengan presentase keberhasilan yang telah ditetapkan peneliti tercapai pada siklus II yaitu persentase rata-rata skor hasil tes akhir meningkat dari 70% menjadi 85%, hal ini menunjukkan bahwa pemahaman konsep siswa semakin baik. AbstractProblems that are often experienced by elementary school students are difficulties in doing addition and subtraction operations involving negative integers. The use of government textbooks and worksheets contain only routine matters which only develop their knowledge and speed of students in math but have yet to develop critical thinking skills and their creative. The impact of the use of the instructional materials students difficulties in understanding the material integers. This study aimed to describe the learning by using learning modules addition and subtraction of integers with CTL approach that may improve understanding of the concept of Elementary School fourth grade students. The method used in this research is a classroom action research with research subjects are 20 of IV grade SDN Kotalama 1 Malang. The products of this research is the design of learning by using learning modules addition and subtraction of integers with CTL approach. The results showed the use of learning modules addition and subtraction of integers with CTL approach can improve understanding of the concept of fourth grade students of SDN Kotalama 1 Malang with a percentage of success that has been established researchers reached the second cycle is the average percentage score of final test results increased from 70% to 85%, this indicates that the better students' understanding of the concept.

Abstract

Community service activities aim to compile a mathematics module to improve teacher performance as a form of professionalism in carrying out their profession. The refresher training activities for mathematics teaching materials and solving math problems for Elementary School Teachers in Cluster 9 Sukun District Malang were carried out well. There are three kinds of activities in the series, namely the lecture method by explaining the module material in detail, the second is the discussion method on the mathematics module material and the third practical exercises (drill practice) the teacher applies to compiling the module framework. Based on the pre-test score for filling in the module obtained 60.5% while the postest score obtained 80%, the training activity showed an increase of 42.5% so that it was said to be successful as seen from the increase in the module writing training. The results of the dedication activities show the teacher's ability to strengthen the material in making mathematics modules through lectures, discussions and practical exercises (drill practice)

Abstract

AbstractThis research was conducted due to the limitation of independent instructional media for students that is based on the curriculum as a companion to mathematics textbooks. Where the textbooks do not connect mathematics with local culture, so that students are less familiar with their culture.  This research aims to develop a valid, practical, and effective module for two-dimensional course based on ethnomathematics for fourth grade students of elementary school. The model employed in this development research was 4D model proposed by Thiagarajan that consisted of four stages: Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate. The data analysis was done by using descriptive quantitative and qualitative. The results of this development showed that the module for two-dimensional course based ethnomathematics was valid and feasible; it was stated by the average score obtained from the experts (87.6%). Furthermore, the module developed obtained a positive response from the teacher and students; it obtained an average score of 88.5%. Then, the module was effective to improve student understanding, it obtained an average score of 81.55. Therefore, the module for two-dimensional course based on ethnomathematics is valid, practical, and effective to be used in the learning process.Keywords: two-dimensional shapes, ethnomathematics, developing module.AbstrakPenelitian ini dilatarbelakangi perlu adanya bahan ajar mandiri berupa modul siswa yang sesuai dengan kurikulum sebagai pendamping buku pelajaran matematika. Di mana buku pelajaran matematika yang digunakan kurang menghubungkan matematika dengan budaya lokal, sehingga siswa kurang mengenal budaya yang ada di daerah. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengembangkan modul bangun datar berbasis etnomatematika untuk siswa kelas 4 sekolah dasar yang valid, praktis dan efektif. Metode penelitian pengembangan menggunakan model 4D dari Thiagarajan yang terdiri dari empat tahap, yaitu: tahap pendefinisian (define), tahap perancangan (design), tahap pengembangan (develop), dan tahap penyebaran (disseminate). Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan teknik analisis data deskriptif kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa modul bangun datar berbasis etnomatematika dinyatakan valid oleh para ahli dengan skor rata-rata 87,6%. Penggunaan modul mendapatkan respon yang positif dari guru dan siswa yaitu menunjukkan rata-rata 88,5%. Dengan menggunakan modul tersebut, pemahaman siswa menjadi meningkat dengan nilai rata-rata mencapai 81,55. Sehingga modul bangun datar berbasis etnomatematika praktis dan efektif dalam pembelajaran matematika.Kata kunci: bangun datar, etnomatematika, pengembangan modul.

Abstract

Abstract: The background of this research is the unavailability of fun and non-boring media based on IT. To foster interest and motivation with the concept of playing while learning through an Android-based number division educational game. The research aims at educational games based on Android class II in elementary schools are feasible, practical, and effective. The development method using the 4D model consists of four stages, including the define stage, the design stage, the developing stage, and the dissemination stage. The analysis technique is thorough qualitative and quantitative descriptive data analysis. The results of the study stated that the Android-based number division educational game obtained an average score of 95.83% by experts by stating it was feasible. The Android-based number division educational game was used to get positive responses from teachers and students with an average of 94%. With this android-based number division educational game, student learning outcomes have increased based on the average value reaching 0.47. So that the Android-based number division educational game is practical and effectively applied in the mathematics learning process.Abstrak: Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi belum tersedianya media menyenangkan serta tidak membosakan berbasis IT. Untuk menumbuhkan minat dan motivasi dengan konsep bermain sambil belajar melalui game edukasi pembagian bilangan berbasis Android. Penelitian bertujuan mengembangkan game edukasi pembagian bilangan berbasis android untuk siswa kelas 2 SD yang layak, praktis dan efektif. Pengembangan menggunakan model 4D yang terdiri dari empat tahap yaitu tahap pendefinisian (define), tahap perancangan (design), tahap pengembangan (develop), dan tahap penyebaran (disseminate). Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menyatakan game edukasi pembagian bilangan berbasis android memperoleh skor rata-rata 95,83% oleh para ahli dengan menyatakan layak. Game edukasi pembagian bilangan berbasis android digunakan memperoleh tanggapan positif oleh guru serta peserta didik dengan rata-rata 94%. Melalui game edukasi pembagian bilangan berbasis android tersebut, hasil belajar peserta didik menjadi meningkat nilai rata-rata mencapai 0,47. Sehingga game edukasi pembagian bilangan berbasis android praktis dan efektif diterapkan dalam proses belajar matematika

Abstract

This research is motivated by the need to provide teaching materials in the form of electronic-based modules (e-modules) integrated with numeracy literacy learning. Where math books are less able to provide delivery related to numeracy literacy. Given the lack of a learning process during the covid 19 period to improve students' abilities in the field of numeracy. The research objective is to develop an e-module for multiplication and division of numeracy literacy fractions for grade 5 elementary school students for practical problem solving. The development research method with the ADDIE model is Analysis, Design, Developments, Implementation, and Evaluation. Analysis of the data used in the form of quantitative and qualitative data analysis techniques through expert validators of teaching materials, media and language as well as teacher and student response questionnaires. The results showed that the e-module of multiplication and division of fractions based on numeracy literacy was declared feasible or valid with an average score of 89.37%. The use of e-modules got a positive response from teachers and students based on a response questionnaire with an average score of 92%. This has an effect on increasing students' understanding in the material of multiplication and division of fractions with an average value of 88. So that the e-module of multiplication and division of fractions based on numeracy literacy can help students in learning mathematics in elementary schools.

Abstract

The conduct of the present study is encouraged by the needs to afford the teaching materials in the form of an electronic learning module or e-module that can be combined with the problem-based learning approach in order to expand the students’ insights in and draw the students’ interest toward Mathematics. These needs should be afforded because the present teaching materials used in the learning process are still conventional and, consequently, the students become easily bored. Departing from this elaboration, the objective of the present study is to develop the teaching materials, especially in the subject “Simple Planes” in the Third Grade, and to measure the validity, the practicality, and the effectiveness of the media that have been developed. In conducting the study, the ADDIE model, standing for Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation, had been adopted and the data were gathered by means of validation sheet and response questionnaire. After the data had been gathered, the data were analysed by using the qualitative and the quantitative data analysis technique. The results of the study show that the problem-based learning (PBL)-based planes e-module using the KVISFOT Flipbook Maker that has been developed is already valid with the mean score of 85.82%. At the same time, the results of the response category show that the problem-based learning (PBL)-based planes e-module using the KVISFOT Flipbook Maker that has been developed is already good with the mean score 3.78. Furthermore, the mean score from the effectiveness test using the evaluation test for the Third-Grade students is 90.47. Therefore, it can be concluded that the e-module is able to improve the students’ learning motivation so that the learning process can proceed fluently.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to evaluate the implementation of MBKM in the learning process using the case method and team based project implemented by the study program at Unikama. This research is a descriptive research with qualitative and quantitative approaches. The research method used is a survey method using a questionnaire. The research subjects were determined based on the research objectives, namely the entire academic community and stakeholders in the Unikama environment. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of the case method and Team Based Project is one method that is in accordance with the MBKM program and is actually able to provide opportunities to improve student skills, namely Creativity Skills, Critical Thinking Skills, Communication Skills, and Collaboration Skills (4C), so that better quality of graduates. Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan e-modul berbasis inkuiri untuk matakuliah Pembelajaran Geometri pada Program Studi Pendidikan Guru Sekolah Dasar (PGSD). Tahapan pengembangan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah tahapan pengembangan Plomp meliputi: investigasi awal, prototipe, dan asesmen. Pada tulisan ini, peneliti hanya fokus pada pemaparan hasil dari investigasi awal. Investigasi awal dilakukan pada prodi PGSD di kampus yang berafiliasi PGRI di Jawa Timur. Hasil yang diperoleh pada investigasi awal: (1) materi yang disajikan pada pembelajaran geometri meliputi materi bangun datar dan materi bangun ruang, (2) pembelajaran yang dilaksanakan didominasi oleh dosen, (3) ada bahan ajar yang digunakan sebagai pegangan, namun masih belum menggunakan e-modul, (4) bahan ajar yang digunakan masih belum memberikan porsi yang cukup untuk mahasiswa menemukan konsep.

Abstract

AbstractAs a learning innovation, it is necessary to have e-module that brings an interesting learning atmosphere and increase student interests in learning mathematics. This research aims to develop a valid and practical geometry e-module based on numerical literacy for the fifth grade of elementary school. The method in development research uses the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) model. Data were collected using validation questionnaires and student questionnaires. Data were then analyzed using descriptive qualitative and quantitative techniques. The results showed that the validator's assessment obtained the valid criteria, with a percentage of 99% (media experts), 83% (material experts), and 87% (linguists). In the practicality test, the teacher got 96% (excellent) and the students got 94% (excellent). Based on the assessment results, the geometry e-module based on numerical literacy for the fifth grade of elementary school has met the eligibility and practicality criteria. Therefore, teachers can use this e-module as a companion book in distance learning.Keywords: geometry, e-module, numerical literacy. AbstrakSebagai inovasi pembelajaran, perlu adanya e-modul yang membawa suasana pembelajaran yang menarik dan meningkatkan minat siswa dalam belajar matematika. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan e-modul bangun ruang berbasis literasi numerasi untuk kelas 5 sekolah dasar yang valid dan praktis. Metode dalam penelitian pengembangan menggunakan model ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). Data dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan kuesioner validasi dan angket siswa. Data kemudian dianalisis menggunakan teknik deskriptif kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penilaian validator memperoleh kriteria valid dengan persentase 99% (ahli media), 83% (ahli materi), dan 87% (ahli bahasa). Pada uji kepraktisan, guru memperoleh 96% (sangat baik) dan peserta didik memperoleh 94% (sangat baik). Berdasarkan hasil penilaian tersebut, maka e-modul bangun ruang berbasis literasi numerasi untuk kelas 5 sekolah dasar dapat digunakan karena telah memenuhi kriteria kelayakan dan kepraktisan. Guru dapat menggunakan e-modul ini sebagai buku pendamping dalam pembelajaran jarak jauh.Kata kunci: bangun ruang, e-modul, literasi numerasi.

Abstract

The background of this research is to produce and develop an e-module product of cube and block material centered on the approach. The teaching materials used printed books containing material and questions without any complex mathematical concepts so there is a lack of contextual learning in learning. That affects the lack of understanding of students' contextual knowledge during the geometry material pandemic. This study aims to develop an inquiry-based cube and block e-module for fifth-grade elementary students. Development research methods with 4D models include Definition, Design, Development, and Deployment. This research uses quantitative and qualitative data analysis techniques through media and material expert validators and teacher and student response questionnaires. The results showed that the inquiry-based cube and beam e-module was declared feasible or valid with an average score of 89.05%. Furthermore, e-modules through teacher and student response questionnaires obtained an average of 91.5%, which is very practical. Therefore, it influences students' cognition in understanding cube and block material with an average value of 84.1. Therefore, the inquiry-based cube and block e-module can help students improve their contextual abilities.
