Abstract

The background of this research is to produce and develop cube and cuboid material e-module products centred on regional culture. The teaching materials are still printed books containing material and questions without any complex mathematical concepts, so there is a lack of linking regional culture with mathematics. That affects the lack of understanding of students' ethnomathematics during the geometry material pandemic. This study aims to develop an e-module cube and cuboid based on ethnomathematics for fifth-grade elementary school students. Research development methods with 4D include definition, design, development and deployment. The data was analyzed using quantitative and qualitative data analysis techniques through media and material expert validators and teacher and student response questionnaires. The results showed that the e-module cube and cuboid based on ethnomathematics were declared feasible or valid with an average score of 82.5%. They used e-modules through teacher and student response questionnaires and obtained an average score of 85%, which was stated to be very practical. Therefore, it affects students' cognitive understanding of cube and cuboid material with an average value of 84.1. The ethnomathematics-based e-module cube and cuboid can help students improve their contextual abilities.

Abstract

That affects the lack of understanding of students' contextual knowledge during the geometry material pandemic. This study aims to develop an inquiry-based cube and block e-module for fifth-grade elementary students. Development research methods with 4D models include Definition, Design, Development, and Deployment. This research uses quantitative and qualitative data analysis techniques through media and material expert validators and teacher and student response questionnaires. The results showed that the inquiry-based cube and beam e-module was declared feasible or valid with an average score of 89.05%. Furthermore, e-modules through teacher and student response questionnaires obtained an average of 91.5%, which is very practical. Therefore, it influences students' cognition in understanding cube and block material with an average value of 84.1. Therefore, the inquiry-based cube and block e-module can help students improve their contextual abilities.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze information literacy of primary school students in Malang.  725 students of fifth grade were involved in this study as respondents.  This study used a measurement test sheet of students’ information literacy based on the indicators of information literacy suggested by UNESCO and OECD consisting of 6 indicators.  The data from the literacy test were then analyzed using descriptive quantitative analysis technique.  Based on the average value of each indicator, it can be concluded that the average information literacy of the students in 18 primary schools in Malang is 5.09 categorized as sufficient category.  Information literacy is useful for children in knowing, understanding and filtering the information obtained so that children can interpret and use information wisely.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the process, validity, practicality, and effectiveness of Student Worksheets (LKPD) on two-dimensional figures based on Ethnomathematics. This study employed the ADDIE development model with five stages, namely: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The subject of the trial was the fifth graders of elementary school. Data collection instruments used were validation assessment questionnaires for content experts, linguists, media experts, and practitioners (teachers), and the documentation. The data analysis technique employed descriptive qualitative and quantitative. The results of the study indicated that the Student Worksheet is feasible with a percentage acquisition of  90.9%; in terms of practicality, the acquisition of a percentage was 96.4% and 93%; in terms of effectiveness, the acquisition of an average value was 80. Based on the results of the study, the Student Worksheet (LKPD) on two-dimensional figures based on Ethnomathematics can be used in learning because it meets the criteria of feasible, practical, and effective. Thus, Student Worksheet (LKPD) on two-dimensional figures based on Ethnomathematics can be useful and make it easier for the fifth graders of Elementary School to learn Mathematics that contains cultural information and can be used as a teacher's reference in developing instructional materials especially Student Worksheet.

Abstract

This study aimed to observe student learning activities in terms of number material metacognition. The method is a case study qualitative research. The research subjects were 30 students of the fifth-grade elementary school in Malang. Data collection techniques use tests and interviews by carrying out three stages: planning, monitoring, and evaluation. The results showed that internal and external factors caused 75% of moderate learning difficulties. Internal factors arise due to a lack of understanding of mathematical concepts, lack of thoroughness, and interest in literacy. Meanwhile, the external media used by the teacher was deemed less supportive, and the class conditions were not conducive. Thus, there is a conclusion that internal and external factors cause students’ metacognition analysis.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the use of teaching materials in the form of worksheets, the material presented is less attractive so that it cannot be on time during the learning process. This affects the ability of students to think critically to solve material problems of change of form. This study aims to develop an inquiry-based e-module of transformation for grade 3 elementary school students. The subjects of the study were 10 grade 3 elementary school students. Development research methods using 4D models include Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate. Intrument used in this study is questionnaire sheets. The data analysis used quantitative and qualitative techniques through media and material expert validators and teacher and student response questionnaires. The results showed that the inquiry-based phase change e-module was declared feasible or valid with an average score of 94.16% (Media Expert) and 82.36% (Material Expert). The use of e-modules through a questionnaire response of 92.75% of teachers and 84.79% of students was efficient. Therefore, it influences students' understanding of phase change material with an average value of 81. So that inquiry-based phase change e-modules can help students improve students contextual abilities foster students' cognitive and independent attitudes.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan e-modul berbasis inkuiri untuk matakuliah Pembelajaran Geometri pada Program Studi Pendidikan Guru Sekolah Dasar (PGSD). Tahapan pengembangan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah tahapan pengembangan Plomp meliputi: investigasi awal, prototipe, dan asesmen. Pada tulisan ini, peneliti hanya fokus pada pemaparan hasil dari investigasi awal. Investigasi awal dilakukan pada prodi PGSD di kampus yang berafiliasi PGRI di Jawa Timur. Hasil yang diperoleh pada investigasi awal: (1) materi yang disajikan pada pembelajaran geometri meliputi materi bangun datar dan materi bangun ruang, (2) pembelajaran yang dilaksanakan didominasi oleh dosen, (3) ada bahan ajar yang digunakan sebagai pegangan, namun masih belum menggunakan e-modul, (4) bahan ajar yang digunakan masih belum memberikan porsi yang cukup untuk mahasiswa menemukan konsep.

Abstract

Permasalahan yang peneliti temukan di sekolah kelas IV SD Negeri 5 Kalirejo Kec. Lawang adalah guru kurang memanfaatkan model dan media pembelajaran. Sehingga berdampak pada menurunnya hasil belajar siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh secara signifikan model pembelajaran Numbered Head Together (NHT) berbantuan media pembelajaran kartu kapsul positif dan negatif pada siswa kelas IV di SD Negeri 5 Kalirejo Kecamatan Lawang. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan penelitian kuantitatif dengan rancangan Quasi Experimental Design. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh populasi siswa kelas IV A sebanyak 23 siswa sebagai kelas eksperimen dan siswa kelas IV B sebanyak 21 siswa sebagai kelas kontrol. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah menggunakan tes. Teknis analisis data yag digunakan pada penelitian adalah uji homogenitas, normalitas dan uji t. Hasil penelitian menghasilan siswa lebih aktif dalam pembelajaran, dapat lebih aktif dalam mengusulkan ide-ide dalam berkelompok, aktif dalam menjawab soal yang telah diberikan. Penggunaan model Numbered Head Together (NHT) berbantuan media kartu kapsul positif dan negatif berpengaruh dalam mencapai hasil belajar siswa yang sesuai dengan KKM. Hasil belajar mengalami perubahan yang diperoleh siswa dengan menguji pretest dan posttest menggunakan model NHT berbantuan media. Hal ini terbukti dari nilai hitung pada penelitian adalah sebesar -2.320 dengan nilai sig 0,025<0,05.

Abstract

Literasi numerasi merupakan salah satu dari 6 (enam) literasi dasar yang perlu diberikan kepada siswa. Sebagai calon guru di sekolah dasar, mahasiswa PGSD perlu dibekali dengan kemampuan literasi numerasi. Calon guru yang memiliki kemampuan literasi numerasi yang baik akan memberikan dampak baik pada penanaman literasi numerasi ketika terjun ke dunia kerja. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengembangkan e-modul pembelajaran pecahan berbasis masalah untuk penguatan literasi numerasi mahasiswa PGSD yang memenuhi kriteri valid, praktis, dan efektif. Untuk menilai kevaalidan e-modul digunakan Lembar Validasi e-modul. Untuk menentukan kepraktisan e-modul digunakan Angket Respon Mahasiswa. Untuk menentukan keefektifan e-modul digunakan tes. Berdasarkan hasil validasi oleh validator, e-modul dinyatakan valid. E-modul yang sudah valid diujicobakan untuk menentukan kepraktisan dan keefektifannya. Ujicoba dilakukan pada mahasiswa PGSD yang menempuh matakuliah Pembelajran Bilangan. Berdasarkan hasil Angket Respon yang telah dianalisis diperoleh e-modul memenuhi kriteria kepraktisan. Begitu juga berdasrkan hasil tes, diperoleh e-modul memenuhi kriteria efektif.

Abstract

Permasalahan yang terjadi di kelas V SD Negeri Sukun 1 Malang, hal yang menjadi hambatan dalam pembelajaran IPA yaitu pada materi perpindahan panas. Hal ini disebabkan antusias siswa dalam belajar masih rendah dan pelaksanaan pembelajaran belum menggunakan model yang bervariasi sehingga menyebabkan keberminatan belajar siswa menjadi rendah sehingga hasil belajarnya juga belum memenuhi kriteria ketuntasan minimum. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V SD Negeri Sukun 1 dengan jumlah 27 siswa. Dalam Penelitian Tindakan Kelas ada empat tahapan meliputi : 1) Perencanaan, 2) Pelaksanaan, 3) Observasi, 4) Refleksi.Hasil data penelitian menunjukkan perolehan nilai hasil belajar siswa aspek kognitif mengalami peningkatan setap pertemuan. Pada siklus I mendapatkan rata-rata 73, siklus II dengan rata-rata 79,2, dan siklus III mendapatkan rata-rata 89,5. Terjadi peningkatan dari siklus I ke siklus III yaitu sebesar 16,5. Sementara untuk KBK juga terjadi peningkatan. Pada siklus I mendapatkan KBK 37%, siklus II KBK 59,2 %, dan siklus III KBK sebesar 100%. Artinya, pada siklus ke III ketuntasan siswa belajar dalam memenuhi kriteria ketuntasan minimum adalah semua siswa berhasil mencapai KKM. Jadi dapat disimpulkan bahwa dengan menerapkan model problem based learning berbantuan media konkrit meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas V.
