Abstract

The purpose of this study is the use of banana frond briquette charcoal as an alternative to environmentally friendly technology. This type of research is an experiment. Experimental data collection techniques, documentation, and literature studies. The data analysis method in this study uses a quantitative approach. Banana frond briquettes are divided into 3 groups: A (81% banana frond charcoal: 19% adhesive), B (71% banana frond charcoal: 29% adhesive), and C (91% banana frond charcoal: 9% adhesive). The results of the banana frond briquette test on the C sample of 91% charcoal briquettes with 9% adhesive showed the best results with a calorific value of 4571 kcal/kg. The study concluded that the best calorific value in sample C with a charcoal composition of banana fronds was 91%; 9% adhesive was 4571 cal/kg.

Abstract

Makroinvertebrata merupakan organisme tidak bertulang belakang yang memiliki ukuran kasat mata, memiliki habitat di darat, dalam  tanah, perairan meliputi air laut dan tawar. Kelompok makroinvertebrata di perairan bisa dijadikan bioindikator suatu perairan. Makroinvertebrata di perairan air tawar contohnya kelompok keong air tawar, serangga air, udang dan Clitellata seperti lintah. Penelitian dilakukan pada bulan Oktober 2023 sampai Januari 2024 menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan leaf litter bags, jaring seser, dan mengambil sedimen dasar perairan menggunakan ember. Pengukuran parameter lingkungan dilakukan meliputi pengukuran intensitas cahaya, suhu air, tingkat keasaman (pH), oksigen terlarut (DO), kedalaman lumpur, dan kedalaman air. Analisis data menggunakan indeks Shannon-Wiener, indeks Eveness dan indeks Simpson. Hasil identifikasi makroinvertebrata menunjukkan terdapat 16 spesies terdiri atas 13 famili dan 4 kelas. Indeks keanekaragaman makroinvertebrata di area kolam konservasi ex-situ kura-kura Siebenrockiella crassicollis Universitas Bengkulu secara umum tekanan ekologis berada pada kondisi tekanan rendah hingga sedang, dapat dilihat pada nilai H’ berkisar antara 0,981 sampai 1,577, indeks keseragaman berkisar antara 0,354 sampai 0,569 dan indeks dominansi berkisar antara 0,342 sampai 0,506. Kelimpahan, keanekaragaman, keseragaman dan dominansi makroinvertebrata dipengaruhi oleh parameter fisika kimia dan kondisi lingkungan.

Abstract

The Palak Siring Waterfall is a natural tourism object located in Kemumu Village, Armajaya District, North Bengkulu Regency were the area have variety of vegetation. This research aims to analyze the Terrestrial Fern Diversity in that area. The benefits of ferns in an ecosystem are as one of the pioneer organisms that open and start a new life in an ecosystem, food sources, and planting media. The method used is transect by forming (five) plots based on the slope of the land, consist of flat, sloping, rather steep, steep, and very steep areas. Plot size of 20 x 20 m placed along the transect line. Based on the survey was found 22 species with 13 types of family ferns in the Palak Siring Waterfall. The Diversity Index value of ferns (pteridophyta) belongs to the medium category. This certainly indicates that there is a fern that can adapt to the environment as well as other plants in area. Diversity of fern have the potential to be applied to junior high school science learning through several Basic competencies, materials, and forms of learning activities.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the quality of learning in Organic Chemistry 1. The specific objective of this study is to determine the difference in learning outcomes between students who use MOOCs (Massive Open Online Courses) and WhatsApp using the Project-Based Learning model. The type of research used is quasi-experimental research with a sample of third-semester students from Class A and Class B. This study uses two experimental classes, namely Class A using MOOCs and Class B using the WhatsApp application. The data analysis used is the average score, homogeneity test, normality test, and t-test. Based on the research results, there is a difference in learning outcomes between MOOCs and WhatsApp Group (WAG) applications with the same learning model treatment, namely the PjBL model, with a sig value (2-tailed) of 0.000, indicating p < 0.05. It can be concluded that there is a significant difference in the learning outcomes of the two experimental classes. Student responses to MOOCs and WAG applications are very good. Students stated that MOOCs and WAG applications are very practical, interesting, and easily accessible, especially for access to learning materials. Abstract

ABSTRAK   Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan pembelajaran IPA terpadu tipe shared terhadap penguasaan konsep siswa, besar pengaruh penerapan pembelajaran IPA terpadu tipe shared terhadap penguasaan konsep siswa dan tanggapan siswa dalam penerapan pembelajaran IPA terpadu tipe shared terhadap penguasaan konsep siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan satu kelas eksperimen dengan sampel penelitian adalah siswa kelas VII A yang berjumlah 31 siswa. Metode dalam penelitian ini adalah pre-experimental dengan desain one-grup pretest-posttest design. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data penguasaan konsep menggunakan uji t paired, diperoleh nilai signifikansi menunjukkan 0,005<0,05 sehingga Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima. Hasil perhitungan diperoleh besarnya effect size Cohen’s d sebesar 0,37 menunjukkan bahwa terjadi pengaruh yang sedang. Serta analisis angket tanggapan siswa diperoleh semua indikator berkategori baik dengan perolehan skor rata-rata sebesar 83,3. Sehingga dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa penerapan pembelajaran IPA terpadu tipe shared memberikan pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap penguasaan konsep siswa kelas VIIA SMPN 9 Kota Bengkulu.     Kata kunci : Pembelajaran IPA, Tipe Shared, Peduli Lingkungan, Penguasaan Konsep   ABSTRACT   This study aims to determine  the effect of the application of shared type integrated science learning on students' concept mastery, the effect of the application of shared type integrated science learning on students' concept mastery and students' responses in the application of shared type integrated science learning on students' concept mastery. This study uses one experimental class with the research sample is VII A class students totaling 31 students. The method in this research is pre-experimental with one-group pretest-posttest design. Based on the results of concept mastery data analysis using paired t test, the significance value shows 0.005 <0.05 so Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. The calculation results obtained the magnitude of the effect size Cohen's d of 0.37 indicates that there is a moderate influence. As well as the analysis of student response questionnaires obtained all indicators are categorized as good with an average score of 83.3. So it can be concluded that the application of shared-type integrated science learning has a significant effect on the mastery of the concept of students in class VIIA SMPN 9 Bengkulu City.   Keywords : Science Learning, Shared Type, Environmental Care, Concept Mastery

Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model Problem based Learning (PBL) berbantuan Handout  terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik kelas VII di SMPN 15 Kota Bengkulu dalam materi pencemaran lingkungan.. Sampel penelitian diambil menggunakan teknik purposive sampling dengan berbagai pertimbangan maka dipilih kelas VII D dengan jumlah siswa sebanyak 24 siswa yang terdiri dari 11 siswa laki-laki dan 13 siswa perempuan. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Pre-Experimental Design tipe One-Group Pretest-Postest Design. Pengumpulan data hasil belajar siswa dilakukan dengan memberikan lembar soal berupa Pretest (tes awal) dan Postest (tes akhir) di setiap pertemuan. Uji hipotesis  dilakukan  menggunakan uji –t. Jika dari hasil  uji –t tersebut  terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan maka ditarik kesimpulan terdapat pengaruh penerapan model Problem Based Learning berbantuan handout terhadap hasil belajar siswa,  dan sebaliknya jika tidak terdapat perbedaan  yang signifikan maka tidak terdapat pengaruh. Hasil uji t diperoleh signifikasi hitung sebesar 0,00 > α = 0,05 sehingga Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima yang menyatakan bahwa terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar yang signifikan antara sebelum dan setelah siswa mengikuti pembelajaran Problem based Learning menggunakan handout. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan N-gain score rerata sebesar 0,512 dalam kategori sedang. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan effect size  diperoleh nilai sebesar 0,27 dalam kategori sedang. Dapat disimpulkan terdapat pengaruh penerapan model problem based learning menggunakan Handout Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam terhadap hasil belajar materi pencemaran lingkungan, dengan besar pengaruh pada kategori sedang. Kata kunci: Problem Based Learning, Handout, Pencemaran Lingkungan, Hasil Belajar ABSTRACT This study aims to determine the effect of the Problem-based Learning (PBL) model assisted by Handout on the learning outcomes of seventh grade students at Junior High School 15 Bengkulu City in environmental pollution material. The research sample was taken using purposive sampling technique with various considerations, class VII D was chosen with a total of 24 students consisting of 11 male students and 13 female students. This type of research is Pre-Experimental Design type One-Group Pretest-Postest Design. Data collection on student learning outcomes was carried out by giving question sheets in the form of Pretest (initial test) and Postest (final test) at each meeting. Hypothesis testing was carried out using the t-test. If from the results of the t-test there is a significant difference, it is concluded that there is an effect of applying the Problem Based Learning model assisted by handouts on student learning outcomes, and vice versa if there is no significant difference, there is no effect. The t-test results obtained a significance count of 0.00> α = 0.05 so that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted which states that there is a significant difference in learning outcomes between before and after students take part in Problem-based Learning learning assisted by handouts. Based on the results of the calculation of the average N-gain score of 0.512 in the medium category. Based on the results of the calculation of effect size obtained a value of 0.27 in the medium category. It can be concluded that there is an effect of applying the problem-based learning model using the Natural Science Handout on the learning outcomes of environmental pollution material, with a large effect in the moderate category. Abstract

ABSTRAK   Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan LKPD materi pencemaran lingkungan berbasis Pendekatan Jelajah Alam Sekitar (JAS) untuk SMP kelas VII. Jenis Penelitian yang digunakan merupakan penelitian dan  pengembangan (Research and Development) dengan model 4D yang dibatasi pada tahap 3D yaitu Define, Design dan Develop. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan berupa observasi dan wawancara. Insturumen penelitian berupa lembar observasi, lembar panduan wawancara guru, lembar validasi ahli dan lembar angket uji keterbacaan peserta didik. Teknik analisis data dilakukan secara deskriptif dan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa LKPD berbasis Pendekatan Jelajah Alam Sekitar (JAS) sangat layak dan dapat digunakan berdasarkan hasil validasi ahli. Hasil uji keterbacaan peserta didik terhadap LKPD yang dikembangkan menujukan kategori sangat baik. Simpulan dari hasil penelitian ini menujukan bahwa LKPD yang dikembangkan dinyatakan layak oleh tim ahli dan mendapat respon positif dari peserta didik untuk dilanjutkan dalam uji coba skala luas guna melihat efektivitas produk.   Kata  kunci : LKPD, Pencemaran Lingkungan, Jelajah Alam Sekitar (JAS)   ABSTRACT   This study aims to develop LKPD on environmental pollution material based on the Explore Nature Around (JAS) approach for junior high school grade VII. The type of research used is research and development (Research and Development) with the 4D model which is limited to the 3D stage, namely Define, Design and Develop. The data collection techniques used were observation and interview. Research instruments in the form of observation sheets, teacher interview guide sheets, expert validation sheets and student readability test questionnaires. Data analysis techniques are descriptive and quantitative. The results showed that the LKPD based on the Explore Nature Around Approach (JAS) was very feasible and could be used based on the results of expert validation. The results of the students' readability test of the LKPD developed showed a very good category. The conclusion from the results of this study indicates that the LKPD developed was declared feasible by a team of experts and received a positive response from students to be continued in a wide-scale trial to see the effectiveness of the product.   Keywords : LKPD, Environmental Pollution, Explore Nature Around (JAS)

Abstract

ABSTRAK   Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kevalidan produk majalah sains dan mendeskripsikan tanggapan guru terhadap keterbacan produk majalah sains pada tema tumbuhan sahabatku. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan merupakan penelitian pengembangan (Research and Development) model 4D, dengan pembatasan isi pada tahap Develop yaitu uji keterbacaam guru secara terbatas. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan berupa wawancara dan angket. Instrumen pengumpulan data berupa angket (kuisoner) berupa lembar angket kebutuhan, lembar angket validasi, dan lembar angket uji keterbacaan guru. Validasi produk majalah sains dilakukan oleh validator ahli (3 dosen dan 2 guru SLB). Uji keterbacaan produk dilakukan oleh 3 guru SLBN 5 Kota Bengkulu. Berdasarkan hasil validasi ahli terhadap media ajar mendapat skor 0,96% dalam kategori sangat valid sedangkan hasil uji keterbacaan produk yang dilakukan oleh 3 guru di SLBN 5 Kota Bengkulu terhadap majalah sains pada tema tumbuhan sahabatku secara keseluruhan memperoleh persentase rata-rata 77,08% dalam kategori baik.   Kata  kunci : Anak Tunagrahita, Majalah Sains, Pembelajaran Kontekstual.   ABSTRACT   This research aims to describe the validity of science magazine products and describe teachers' responses to the readability of science magazine products on the theme of my friend's plants. The type of research used is 4D model research and development, with content synchronization at the Develop stage, namely a limited teacher readability test. The data collection techniques used were interviews and questionnaires. The data collection instruments are in the form of questionnaires in the form of requirements questionnaire sheets, questionnaire validation sheets, and teacher readability test questionnaire sheets. Validation of science magazine products is carried out by expert validators (3 lecturers and 2 special school teachers). The product readability test was carried out by 3 SLBN 5 Bengkulu City teachers. Based on the results of expert validation, teaching media received a score of 0.96% in the very valid category, while the results of the product readability test carried out by 3 teachers at SLBN 5 Bengkulu City for science magazines on the theme of my friend's plants overall obtained an average percentage of 77.08%. in the good category.   Keywords : Intellectually Disabled Children, Science Magazine, Contextual Learning

Abstract

ABSTRAK Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh model project based learning dengan bantuan video terhadap literasi lingkungan siswa pada aspek pengetahuan dan kemampuan kognitif dan mengetahui pengaruh model project based learning dengan bantuan video terhadap literasi lingkungan siswa pada aspek sikap dan perilaku materi pencemaran lingkungan. Penelitian dilaksanakan di SMP Negeri 7 Kota Bengkulu. Sampel penelitian diambil menggunakan teknik simple random sampling diperoleh kelas VII A sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas VII E sebagai kelas kontrol. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah quasi experiment dengan bentuk nonequivalent control group design. Instrumen penelitian ini menggunakan tes untuk mengukur aspek pengetahuan dan kemampuan kognitif serta angket untuk mengukur aspek sikap dan perilaku. Data hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) terdapat pengaruh model project based learning dengan bantuan video pembelajaran terhadap literasi lingkungan aspek pengetahuan dan kemampuan kognitif siswa pada materi pencemaran lingkungan sub materi pencemaran air; (2) terdapat pengaruh model project based learning dengan bantuan video pembelajaran terhadap literasi lingkungan aspek sikap dan perilaku siswa pada materi pencemaran lingkungan sub materi pencemaran air.   Kata  kunci: Model Pembelajaran PjBL, Video Pembelajaran, Literasi Lingkungan   ABSTRACT The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of project-based learning model with video assistance on students' environmental literacy in the aspects of knowledge and cognitive abilities and to determine the effect of project-based learning model with video assistance on students' environmental literacy in the aspects of attitudes and behavior of environmental pollution material. The research was conducted at SMP Negeri 7 Bengkulu City. The research sample was taken using simple random sampling technique, obtained class VII A as the experimental class and class VII E as the control class. The type of research used is quasi experiment with the form of nonequivalent control group design. This research instrument uses tests to measure aspects of knowledge and cognitive abilities and questionnaires to measure aspects of attitudes and behavior. The research data showed that: (1) there is an effect of the project-based learning model with the help of learning videos on environmental literacy in the aspects of knowledge and cognitive abilities of students on environmental pollution sub-matter of water pollution; (2) there is an effect of the project-based learning model with the help of learning videos on environmental literacy in the aspects of attitudes and behavior of students on environmental pollution sub-matter of water pollution..   Keywords: PjBL Learning Model, Learning Video, Environmental Literacy

Berdasarkan hasil validasi ahli  materi mendapat skor 0,85 dengan persentase 88,33 dalam kategori sangat valid dan sangat layak, Berdasarkan hasil validasi ahli  media  mendapat skor 0,93 dengan persentse 95% dalam kategori sangat valid dan sangat layak, Berdasarkan hasil validasi ahli  praktisi  mendapat skor 0,91 dengan persentase 93% dalam kategori sangat valid dan sangat layak .Sedangkan hasil uji keterbacaan produk yang dilakukan oleh 3 guru di SLBN 5 Kota Bengkulu terhadap video  sains pada tema tumbuhan sahabatku secara keseluruhan memperoleh persentase rata-rata 80% dalam kategori “Baik”.   Kata kunci : anak tunagrahita, tumbuhan sahabatku, video sains ABSTRACT This research aims to describe the feasibility of science video products and describe teachers' responses to the readability of science video products on the theme of my friend's plants. The type of research used is 4D model research and development, with content restrictions at the develop stage, namely limited teacher readability testing. The data collection techniques used were observation, interviews and questionnaires. The data collection instruments are in the form of questionnaires in the form of requirements questionnaire sheets, validation questionnaire sheets, and teacher readability test questionnaire sheets. Validation of science video products is carried out by expert validators (3 lecturers and 2 SLB 5 teachers). The product readability test was carried out by 3 SLBN 5 Bengkulu City teachers. Based on the validation results, material experts got a score of 0.85 with a percentage of 88.33 in the very valid and very feasible category. Based on the validation results, media experts got a score of 0.93 with a percentage of 95% in the very valid and very feasible category.
