Abstract

  Abstract; The research purpose is to develop study model of science contextual through guided inquiry strategy in the level of II and to improve the concept understanding and life-skills for student at 5 degree in elementary school with the extended society learn. This research is a development research (Research and Development). Four study model science of contextual is developed cover: 1) guided inquiry strategy in the level II and extended society learn; 2) guided inquiry strategy in the level of II and limited society learn; 3) guided inquiry strategy in the level I and extended society learn; and 4) guided inquiry strategy in the level I and limited society learn. The validation result of study scenario and LKS by teacher and expert including into good criterion (suitable used with a bit revision). Observation result to the study scenario implementation was show that 80% of the activity step can be executed excellently. Student comments to model implementation that developed is student feels: 1) a challenge to do the activity 2) do not easy to give up in replying question; and 3) learn with pleasantness. The result of test-drive is shown that the completeness of learn student in classically experience equal to 28% and the student life-skills improvement equal to 17,66 %.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect Tropical Forest as teaching material on the aspects of poetry writing skills such as the suitability of contents, diction, imagination, mandate, and attitudes of environmental care in fourth-grade for elementary school students. This research used quantitative research methods with The Matching Only Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. The population was the public elementary school in the Rejang Lebong district. The sample was selected by random cluster sampling, namely elementary school number 93 and elementary school number 119 in Rejang Lebong. The independent variable was the Tropical Forest teaching material, while the dependent variable was poetry writing skills for Indonesian subjects and environmental attitudes of science subjects. The instrument for evaluating poetry writing skills used a rubric with intervals of 1 to 4, while a caring attitude used a questionnaire. The data collection technique was done by filling out an assessment questionnaire from the results of writing poetry individually. Data analysis using IBM SPSS Statistics Version 25, for: (1) validity and reliability, (2) prerequisite tests, and (3) hypothesis testing. The results of the prerequisite test are unnormal for poetry writing skills variable then data were analyzed using the non-parametric Mann-Whitney analysis. While the caring attitude variable shows the normal distribution, then data were analyzed using the parametric t-test. The experiments showed that there was a significant difference in the poetry writing skills for the suitability of contents and the attitudes of environmental care between students who use Tropical Forest as teaching materials and students who use environmental learning resources around the school. Furthermore, there was no significant difference in writing poetry, diction, imagination, and mandate writing skills between students who use Tropical Forest as teaching materials and students who use environmental learning resources

Abstract

This study aims to determine the of tge PjBL learning model, Diorama in science learning on the creative thinking abilities of fourth grade students in elementary schools. This research is a wuantitative research. The method used is quasy experiment. The design in this study is The Matching Only Pretest-Posttest control Group Desigen. The population in this study were all students in Elementary School Cluster X Bengkulu City. The samples in this study were students of class IV A SDN 58 Bengkulu City, amounting to 20 people as experimental clasa and class IV B stduents of SDN 38 Bengkulu City, totaling 21 people as control class. The instrument used in the form of multiple choice tests consisted of dimensions of flency, flexible thingking, original thinking, elaboration, and thinking ability to evaluate (evaluation) provided through pretest and posttest. This research also resulted in a Diorama Project that affected students’ creative thingking abilities. The data analysis technique in this research is quantitative analysis using descriptive statistics and inferential statistics. Based on the results of this study note that the ?????? of 2.58 greater that ?????? at a significant of 5% of 2.02. This shows that threre is an influence of the Diorama Project Based Learning (PjBL) model in natural science learning on the creative thinking abilities of grade IV elementary school students.Keywords : Project Based Learning (PjBL) Leraning Model, Thinking Creative

Abstract

Permasalahan pada guru terkait asesmen alternatif untuk memfasilitasi rasa tanggung jawab siswa terhadap masalah banjir adalah minimnya pemahaman dan pustaka acuan terkait asesmen alternatif tersebut. Adapun asesmen alternatif yang dimaksud adalah bentuk asesmen kinerja yang terkait dengan rasa tanggung jawab siswa terhadap masalah banjir, bentuk asesmen  untuk ranah penilaian afektif  yang terkait dengan rasa tanggung jawab siswa terhadap masalah banjir. Hal ini yang menjadi penyebab utama sehigga guru belum mengintegrasikan kegiatan penilaian ini dalam keseluruhan proses pembelajaran melalui proses penilaian yang dikenal dengan istilah asesmenn alternatif sehingga penilaian yang terjadi adalah penilaian yang sebenarnya atau disebut dengan otentik asesmen. Berdasarkan latar belakang permasalahan tersebut maka tujuan  akhir  (tahun ke 3) penelitian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan asesmen alternatif dan rubrik penilaian asesmen alternatif, yang dapat digunakan guru untuk menumbuhkan rasa tanggung jawab siswa terhadap masalah banjir di Kota Samarinda. Tujuan tahun pertama penelitian yang dilaporkan dalam makalah ini adalah analisis kebutuhan untuk mengtahui pemasalahan  dan upaya guru terkait pemahaman, perencanaan, pelaksanaan baik asesmen alternatif maupun rubrik penilaian asesmen alternatif. Metode penelitian keseluruhan adalah pengembangan, dan diawali tahun pertama adalah survey dengan teknik wawancara dan dokumentasi sebagai bagian dari analisis kebutuhan. Analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif dengan pengkategorisasian dan interpretasi. Hasil penelitian diperoleh permasalahan guru terjadi pada pemahaman, perencanaan, pelaksanaan dan upaya mengatasi permasalahan terkait dengan asesmen alternatif dan rubrik penilaian asesmen alternatif.Keywords:asesmen alternatif, rasa tanggung jawab, masalah banjir

Abstract

[Bahasa]: Pemanfaatan teknologi dalam pendidikan sangat penting untuk meningkatkan efektivitas pembelajaran. Namun, guru-guru di SDN 50 Kota Bengkulu masih belum optimal dalam memanfaatkan teknologi untuk penyusunan LKPD interaktif. Hal ini menjadi mendesak karena keterbatasan keterampilan guru dalam menggunakan aplikasi berbasis teknologi. Tujuan dari pengabdian ini adalah untuk melatih guru-guru di SDN 50 Kota Bengkulu dalam menyusun LKPD interaktif dengan menggunakan aplikasi Liveworksheets untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kreatif. Metode yang diterapkan dalam kegiatan ini adalah pelatihan dengan model Identifikasi Kebutuhan, Perencanaan, Pelaksanaan, dan Evaluasi (IPPE). Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini dilakukan di SDN 50 Kota Bengkulu yang berlokasi di Jl. Meranti No.4, Sawah Lebar Baru, Kec. Ratu Agung, Kota Bengkulu. Para guru yang menjadi sasaran program ini adalah seluruh staf pengajar di SDN 50 Kota Bengkulu. Instrumen evaluasi yang digunakan adalah lembar penilaian produk LKPD sebelum dan sesudah kegiatan. Pelatihan pengembangan LKPD interaktif menggunakan aplikasi Liveworksheets untuk guru SDN 50 Kota Bengkulu menunjukkan hasil yang signifikan. Setelah mengikuti pelatihan, guru-guru dapat menyusun LKPD interaktif secara mandiri dengan lebih baik. Penilaian melalui lembar tes menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan guru dalam menyusun LKPD meningkat secara substansial. Guru mampu menerapkan aplikasi Liveworksheets secara efektif dalam pengembangan LKPD interaktif yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan siswa. Pelatihan ini berhasil meningkatkan keterampilan guru sekolah dasar dalam menyusun LKPD berbantuan aplikasi Liveworksheets dengan keunggulan utama pada peningkatan kreativitas dan relevansi LKPD sesuai perkembangan teknologi pembelajaran terkini. Kata Kunci: lembar kerja peserta didik, interaktif, aplikasi Liveworksheets [English]: The utilisation of technology in education is essential to enhance the effectiveness of learning. However, the Elementary School 50 Kota Bengkulu teachers have not yet optimised technology for developing interactive student worksheets (LKPD). This need has become urgent due to the teachers' limited skills in using technology-based applications. This community service program aims to train Elementary School 50 Kota Bengkulu teachers to create interactive student worksheets using the Liveworksheets application to foster creative thinking skills. The method applied in this program follows the Needs Identification, Planning, Implementation, and Evaluation training model. This community service activity was conducted at elementary school 50 Kota Bengkulu, located at Jl. Meranti No.4, Sawah Lebar Baru, Ratu Agung District, Kota Bengkulu. The target participants for this program were all teaching staff at Elementary School 50 Kota Bengkulu. The evaluation instrument was a product assessment sheet for student worksheets applied before and after the training. The training on interactive student worksheets development using the Liveworksheets application for teachers at Elementary School shows significant results. After completing the training, teachers were able to independently create interactive student worksheets more effectively. Evaluation through assessment sheets indicated a substantial improvement in teachers’ ability to design student worksheets. Teachers effectively implemented the Liveworksheets application in developing interactive student worksheets tailored to student needs. This training successfully enhanced the skills of teachers in designing student worksheets with the Liveworksheets application, with notable advantages in increasing creativity and relevance in student worksheets aligned with the latest developments in educational technology. Abstract

This study aims to analyze students' needs for teaching materials in disaster mitigation learning. This research method uses quantitative descriptive research. Then analyzed and described to answer the existing problems. The subjects of the study were 53 students of the Science Education study program, University of Bengkulu, semester V. The instrument used was a questionnaire, with 3 aspects (disaster mitigation, teaching materials and learning process) and 24 questions. The results of the analysis showed that 95% of students chose the need for education about natural disaster mitigation. 11% of students did not know the Evacuation Location (gathering point) for the earthquake disaster at the University of Bengkulu and 22% of students did not know the flow map showing evacuation signs at the University of Bengkulu, so teaching materials that contain this are needed. The teaching materials needed by students are interactive and easy-to-use teaching materials, the contents of the material are clearly described in accordance with the facts in life, teaching materials that are audio-visual based (there are videos and animations), equipped with things that need to be considered in disaster mitigation and have a suitable color combination.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh model Problem Based Learning (PBL) berbasis Outdoor Learning terhadap berpikir kritis siswa kelas IV sekolah dasar. Jenis penelitian ini kuantitatif, metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Quasi Eksperimental Design dengan desain The Matching Posttest-Only Control Design terhadap dua kelompok yaitu kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol. Sampel penelitian adalah siswa kelas IV SDN 51 Kota Bengkulu.Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan berupa tes tertulis. Data dari hasil penelitian ini menggunakan inferensial yaitu uji-t dan uji korelasi.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan hasil uji-t dengan t-hitung pada keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa di kelas kontrol sebesar 60,77 mengalami kenaikan naik menjadi rata-rata kelas eksperimen pada hasil berpikir kritis siswa sebesar 88,43. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh penggunaan model Problem Based Learning (PBL) berbasis Outdoor Learning terhadap berpikir kritis siswa sekolah dasar.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui jenis makroalga yang berada di kawasan wisata Pantai Malabero kota Bengkulu, mengembangkan E-Booklet berbasis Flipbook sebagai bahan ajar, dan mengetahui kelayakan serta respon belajar peserta didik terhadap E-Booklet yang telah dikembangkan melalui proses validasi sehingga layak digunakan sebagai sumber belajar yang tertuju kepada peserta didik. Penelitian ini terdiri dari inventarisasi makroalga yang berada di kawasan wisata Pantai Malabero kota Bengkulu dan  tahap pengembangan E-Booklet materi Protista kelas X SMA. Penelitian keanekaragaman makroalga menghasilkan 3 divisi yaitu Chlorophyta dengan jumlah 7 spesies, Rhodophyta 2 spesies, dan Phaeophyta 2 spesies. Hasil akhir dari penelitian ini adalah E-Booklet berbasis flipbook. Produk E-Booklet divalidasi oleh 3 orang yang terdiri dari  ahli bahan ajar, ahli materi dan praktisi pendidikan.Uji coba terbatas dalam skala kecil dilakukan kepada 10 responden siswa kelas X SMAS Muhammadiyah 4 kota Bengkulu. Hasil uji kelayakan yang dilakukan oleh ahli  bahan ajar mendapatkan persentase 93,3% dengan kategori sangat valid, oleh ahli materi 85,2% dengan kategori valid, dan persentase nilai praktisi pendidikan sebanyak 95,8% dengan kategori sangat valid.  Berdasarkan hasil keseluruhan penilaian tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa E-Booklet  berbasis flipbook materi Protista kelas X SMA sangat valid dan sangat layak digunakan sebagai bahan ajar guna mendukung pembelajaran biologi khususnya materi Protista Mirip Tumbuhan.

Abstract

Bengkulu salah satu daerah yang beresiko tinggi terhadap ancaman bencana gempa bumi. Berdasarkan hal tersebut dilakukan upaya untuk mewujudkan kota siaga bencana, contohnya tempat evakuasi sementara. Salah satunya Universitas Bengkulu, berdasarkan observasi yang dilakukan terdapat 4 titik kumpul yang ada di lingkungan Universitas Bengkulu. Ada yang fungsional dan ada beberapa yang tidak fungsional karena belum memenuhi kriteria penentuan titik kumpul evakuasi bencana, termasuk indeks kerentanan tanah yang belum diketahui. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memetakan zona indeks kerentanan seismik di lingkungan Universitas Bengkulu. Pengukuran dilakukan menggunakan alat ukur mikrotremor periode pendek yang menghasilkan data mikrotremor. Analisis mikrotremor dilakukan dengan penerapan metode Horizontal To Vertical Spectrum Ratio (HVSR) menggunakan software Geopsy. Pengukuran dilakukan pada 12 stasiun pengukuran. Hasilnya menunjukkan data indeks kerentanan seismik diperoleh tiga kategori, untuk indeks kerentanan seismik kategori rendah terdapat pada stasiun pengukuran ST 2, ST 3, ST 4, ST 6, ST 7, ST 8, ST 9, ST 10, ST 11 dan ST 12 dengan rentan nilai < 3. Indeks kerentanan seismik kategori sedang terdapat pada stasiun pengukuran ST 1 dan ST 5 dengan rentan nilai 3 – 6. Pengukuran pada penelitian ini tidak terdapat stasiun pengukuran yang termasuk zona kerentanan seismik kategori tinggi, karena nilai indeks kerentanan seismik pada semua stasiun pengukuran bernilai < 6. Zona yang memiliki indeks kerentanan yang rendah dapat dijadikan sebagai titik kumpul.KATA KUNCI: gempa bumi, geopsy; indeks kerentanan seismik; mikrotremor

Abstract

Syzygium is a genus of Myrtaceae with 1,236 species. The functional traits of each species vary. The purpose of this study was to determine the variation in the functional traits of Syzygium leaves found in the lowlands and highlands. In this study, Syzygium leaves were collected from the Bogor Botanical Garden (lowland) for 27 species, while from the Cibodas Botanical Garden (highland) for 35 species. Ten parameters were measured, including leaf Fresh Weight (FW), leaf Dry Weight (DW), Leaf Area s(LA), Specific Leaf Area (SLA), Leaf Dry Matter Content (LDMC), Specific Leaf Weight (SLW), Chlorophyll Content (CC), Stomatal Density (SD), Stomatal Length (SL), and Stomatal Width (SW). Based on the results of the study, a diversity of functional traits in Syzygium species was observed in the lowlands and highlands. The results also indicated that the elevation influences variations in functional traits. Most of the leaf traits were found to be higher in the lowland species. Phenotypic plasticity of parameters was observed within the species found in both lowland and highland locations
