Abstract

Quality control is needed to prevent material, time, and energy losses for the company PT. X. By doingquality control on bubble window production, it is expected to reduce the adverse impact on the company.PT. X itself is a company engaged in aircraft manufacturing. In producing each aircraft component, PT. Xrequires quality control to be able to guarantee the aircraft has good quality and meets the standards thathave been set. In bubble window production, defects are still found. Bubble window itself is one of thecomponents of the aircraft which is produced by PT. X. In an effort to reduce the number of defects thatoccur, quality control is carried out using the new seven tools method. From the processing results obtainedfive factors that cause defects in bubble window products at PT. X, namely the environment, humans, machines, methods, and materials. So three solutions are proposed, which are reviewing the operation of themachine, placing the SOP position in the work area, and periodic maintenance.

Abstract

Nowadays, sport is not only a necessity but also a lifestyle. Sport is not only done outdoors but can also bedone independently indoors. One exercise that is easy to do independently is calisthenics. In general, calisthenics can be done with a tool called a parallette. Parallette equipment manufacturers currently stilluse wood materials and conventional production processes and do not have product variations. A potentialproduction process that can be adapted to make parallette equipment is additive manufacturing 3D printerswith PLA (Polylactic Acid) filament material. The process is carried out through several stages: 3D design, printing using a 3D printer, assembly, and finishing. The production process of a parallette tool with a 3Dprinter takes a standard time of 3123.02 minutes. The longest time occurs when printing with a 3D printerfor grip parts (2 parts) and parallette legs (4 parts). The gross production cost for a set of paralletteequipment is Rp. 101,327. Production of calisthenic equipment with PLA (Polylactic Acid) filamentmaterial using a 3D printer can be used as an alternative to replace wood-based parallette products withconventional manufacturing processes. Sports equipment manufacturers can also use this product as achoice and variety offered to customers.

Abstract

PT Amanah Insanillahia is a Bottled Drinking Water (AMDK) company that has been operating for a long time and prioritizes quality as a company strategy. There are various criteria for problems faced by the company, including quality problems in the production of drinking water in 240 ml bottles. Six sigma can be defined as a methodology that provides tools to reduce process variations and improve product quality using the DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control) method. The purpose of this research is to determine the company's current sigma level and provide suggestions for improvements that suit the company. From the research results it can be concluded that there are 3 potential CTQs, namely imperfect cup, lack of water and machine pinching, with an average (CL) defect of 0.320, and an average DPMO of 106,476. The sigma level value is 2,77. Then the next stage is carried out by analyzing the causes of the cup not meeting standards, lack of water and being pinched by the machine. It is known that defect factors come from machine, material, method and human factors.

Abstract

Pertamina gas stations have an important role in the national economy. Optimizing performance in this sector is very necessary to improve Pertamina's internal performance, optimize state revenue, and increase customer satisfaction. At the motorcycle Pertalite filling work station, long queues often occur. This study aims to evaluate the current fuel filling work method, so that optimization analysis and improvement proposals can be carried out. The methods used are time study and MOST. The results of the time study from observations of 300 respondents from 15 gas stations in Yogyakarta are that the average working time of respondents is 33.78 seconds with a normal time of 33.19 seconds and a standard time of 44.85 seconds. While the results of processing using MOST obtained a TMU value of 810 if converted into seconds to 29.16 seconds. Furthermore, an analysis and improvement proposal were carried out which gave a working time result of 19 seconds, with a normal time of 18.62 seconds and a standard time of 25.19 seconds. Things that need to be improved in the process of filling Pertalite fuel for motorbikes are to prepare the motorbike with the seat and tank already open in 1 queue before the work station, make payments during the filling process, and move the motorbike immediately after the filling process is complete (closing the tank and seat is done outside the work station).

Abstract

Mr. Wash laundry is one of the Small and Medium Enterprises (SME) located in Yogyakarta. This business was founded in 2015 with 2 workers. In work operations, many involve physical activities that can cause fatigue and musculoskeletal complaints, causing decreased productivity and miscommunication to consumers. Therefore, this research was conducted to improve the work system to minimize these impacts. The method in this study uses an ergonomics participator. This method involves a participatory team, namely ergonomists, owners, and workers. The result of this research is the design of an ironing table and chair using the anthropometric specifications of workers which can reduce fatigue and musculoskeletal complaints.

Abstract

Implementasi simulasi perbaikan menunjukkan penurunan cycle time menjadi 2416 detik atau setara penghematan 791 detik (24,66%). Hasil ini membuktikan bahwa penerapan lean service dapat meningkatkan efisiensi waktu proses di layanan jasa pencucian kendaraan
