Abstract

UKM Batik Arum Cempaka merupakan salah satu produsen batik cap dan tulis yang terletak di Kabupaten Pemalang. Pada proses produksi batik khususnya batik cap, terdapat peralatan yang digunakan dalam membatik yaitu set meja kerja yang terdiri dari meja batik cap dan meja kompor. Kondisi pada meja batik cap dibagian bantalan yang berguna untuk mengecap tidak rata dan ukuran meja kompor yang tidak sesuai dengan ukuran kompor sehingga pembatik mengeluhkan ketidaknyamanan ketika membatik. Oleh karena itu dilakukan evaluasi postur kerja dengan metode NBM dan REBA, lalu pengukuran antropometri pembatik, dan merancang ulang set meja kerja dengan Kansei Engineering. Responden pada penelitian ini adalah pembatik yang ahli dalam membatik dengan menggunakan teknik cap di UKM Batik Arum Cempaka yang berjumlah 3 responden dan responden praktisi berjumlah 3 responden. Proses pengambilan data dilakukan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi posisi kerja. Hasil skor evaluasi dengan NBM adalah 79 dan REBA adalah 9, kedua skor termasuk kategori risiko tinggi sehingga perlu dilakukan tindakan perbaikan segera pada fasilitas kerja. Dimensi antropometri yang digunakan adalah tinggi pinggul, tinggi tulang ruas, lebar bahu, panjang rentang tangan ke depan, panjang bahu genggaman tangan ke depan, dan panjang rentangan ke samping. Hasil Kansei Engineering pada penelitian ini adalah nyaman, rapi, aman, tahan lama, dan menarik. Berdasarkan hasil NBM, REBA, dan Pendekatan Antropometri, kemudian dilakukan merancang set meja kerja yang baru dengan menggunakan metode Kansei Engineering. Ukuran desain meja batik cap adalah 121cm x 85cm x 90cm dan meja kompor adalah 43cm x 45cm x 66cm.

Abstract

The production process efficiency is the company's ability to produce optimal output using available resources. When carrying out the production process of aluminium furniture, PT Rajawali Perkasa Furnitur (RPF) has a significantly long cycle time, which results in low efficiency or can be said to be experiencing wastefulness. Through the implementation of lean manufacturing using Value Stream Mapping (VSM) and Process Activity Mapping (PAM) methods, this study aims to minimize the cycle time. The production process of aluminium furniture includes (1) cutting, (2) bending, (3) assembly, (4) leveling, (5) QC, (6) Treatment, (7) powder coating, (8) weaving, (9) touch up, (10) inspect, and (11) packaging. The total cycle time for these processes is 13.431 seconds. Based on the research, it is found that there are 3 non-value-added activities, namely 2 activities in the weaving process and 1 activity in the packaging process. The elimination of these 3 activities results in a reduction of the cycle time by 464 seconds to 12.967 seconds.

Abstract

In production and project management, a bottleneck is a disruption of one process in the process chain, so that its limited capacity reduces the capacity of the entire chain. One of the companies in Indonesia that operates in the agricultural industry and produces dried lemons is PT. Semesta Agro Indonesia. At PT. Semesta Agro Indonesia, frequent imbalances in production trajectories were detected. This happens because the dry lemon production line has a queue of material that blocks the production flow. This research was conducted to identify the causes of bottlenecks that occur in the dry lemon production process at PT. Semesta Agro Indonesia. The research results showed that lemon production experienced a bottleneck at the drying and slicing workstations, with a total time in each department of 15,529 seconds and 7,778 seconds, and 5 unnecessary activities were found with a total time of 1844 seconds (30 minutes and 44 seconds). Once an activity is found that does not add value, it is necessary to eliminate it in the process. After eliminating several non-value-added activities, the cycle time, which was previously at 35,679, fell to 33,835 seconds, or a decrease of 30 minutes and 44 seconds

Abstract

In Indonesia, the increase in internet users, reaching 215.63 million in 2022-2023, has facilitated the growth of mobile shopping applications like Sayurbox and Beceran, which cater to daily needs such as groceries and fresh food items. Despite receiving high user ratings, these applications face technical issues that could impact user satisfaction and company revenue. This study aims to evaluate the service quality and user experience of the Sayurbox and Beceran applications using the M-S-QUAL and UX Benchmarking methods. The M-S-QUAL method assesses service quality across nine dimensions, while UX Benchmarking evaluates user satisfaction, ease of use, error counts, success rates, and task completion times. The results of UX Benchmarking reveal that Sayurbox has fewer errors and higher user satisfaction compared to Beceran, which has faster loading times but more errors. The M-S-QUAL analysis indicates that both applications have negative gap values in most service attributes, with Sayurbox performing slightly better than Beceran. Sayurbox received a score of -0.25 for the value gap on the M-S-QUAL scale, while Beceran received a score of -0.41 for the value gap.

Abstract

The fluctuation and uncertainty of the food industry market demand causes the company to maintain its productivity to be able to meet existing demand. This is also always pursued by PT XYZ as a food and beverage company. In Pilus production process, in addition to using machinery, there is still a lot of manual handling work done. Workload between jobs that cannot cause work to be completed properly, considering that humans are a factor that affects company productivity. Workload calculations are carried out using the Full Time Equivalent (FTE) method to determine the optimal number of workers. From the results of workload calculations on 42 work elements, there are 4 work elements that are overloaded and 38 other work elements are underloaded. After adjusting the workforce composition using the FTE index, it can reduce 4 workers, from 78 workers to 74 workers with a more balanced workload. The results of this study can be used as a consideration in the preparation of labor requirements and are expected to increase the productivity of Pilus production in the company.

Abstract

Proses pengeringan merupakan salah satu Critical Control Point (CCP) yang terdapat dalam rangkaian proses produksi teh hitam (Orthodox). Kurang maksimalnya proses pengeringan teh hitam dapat menyebabkan kualitas bubuk kering yang tidak sesuai dengan standar. Permasalahan yang ditemukan pada proses pengeringan PT. XY adalah ditemukannya bubuk teh yang mengalami penyimpangan yang harus di rework karena kadar air yang terkandung tidak memenuhi standar perusahaan (3 - 4%). Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui nilai sigma yang terdapat pada proses pengeringan dan faktor penyebab terjadinya penyimpangan pada bubuk teh hasil pengeringan serta menentukan alternatif solusi yang diprioritaskan untuk mengatasi penyebab penyimpangan tersebut. Metode yang digunakan untuk mengukur kinerja pada proses pengeringan dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode Six Sigma (DMAIC), sedangkan metode yang digunakan untuk menganalisis prioritas perbaikan adalah Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa proses pengeringan teh hitam memiliki level sigma sebesar 4,29 sigma dengan kemungkinan kerusakan sebanyak 2.608 sampel dalam satu juta produksi. Penyebab terjadinya penyimpangan pada proses pengeringan terletak pada faktor manusia, material dan mesin. Prioritas rekomendasi perbaikan dilakukan secara berurutan dimulai dari failure mode dengan nilai RPN tertinggi (336) hingga failure mode dengan nilai RPN terendah (80) sehingga kinerja pada proses pengeringan dapat meningkat.

Abstract

Kelereng merupakan mainan kecil berbentuk bulat yang dibuat dari kaca, tanah liat, ataupun agate. Modifikasi permainan kelereng dilakukan sebagai upaya untuk melestarikan kembali permainan kelereng yang telah usan, mulai ditinggalkan dan berpindah ke permaian modern. Pemilihan karambol sebagai unsur yang digunakan dalam proses modifikasi didasar atas beberapa hal antara lain kesamaan yaitu dimainkan dengan menyentilkan jari serta dibutuhkan keterampilan dan kejelian dalam membidik target. Informasi implisit tentang permainan kelereng dan karambol yaitu budaya permaianan, aturan main yang berlaku, serta perilaku ataupun emosi dalam permainan. Proses perancangan dilakukan dengan pendekatan analisis morfologi serta parameter rancangan dengan pedekatan AHP. Adapun hasil dari perancangannya ialah papan permainan berupa pesegi yang bisa dilipat guna memudahkan dalam memindahkan serta menyimpan, alas permainan karpet karet dengan tepian dari bahan yang lunak dan lembut, serta papan dengan 4 lubang mirip dengan papan karambol dan kelereng yang digunakan dimensi sedang atau besar. Aturan main yang digunakan memodifikasi dari kedua permainan tersebut.

Abstract

Background. Higher education institutions are given targets to meet key performance indicators (KPI) and to meet study program accreditation instruments. Several new requirements in study program accreditation make it difficult for universities to achieve their targets. Risk management can help organizations reduce risks that hinder them from achieving performance targets. This study aims to identify risks and provide risk assessments to produce mitigation proposals for the Department of Higher Education. Materials. The risk management framework used in this study is integration through ISO 31000 with COSO-ERM, where risk management is carried out comprehensively internally and externally. This research involved experts from a university in Central Java designing risk impact parameters, assessing risks, and designing risk mitigation. Results. The results of this study indicate that the residual risk assessment resulted in 8 low-category risks, 7 medium-category risks, 7 high-category risks, and 1 extreme-category risk. The risks given control (residual) increased by seven risks, and mitigation proposals must be provided. Then, 9 risks exceeded the tolerance limits set by top management, so recommendations for risk mitigation had to be proposed to achieve the Institution's performance targets. Conclusion. Risk Management can be applied to universities to achieve the set goals or targets. The integration of COSO-ERM and ISO 31000 methods can complement the stages in risk management, especially in risk identification, risk analysis, and setting risk tolerance limits in risk assessment, so that the risk mitigation designed is in line with the targets to be achieved by the university.

Abstract

Fake eyelashes are made in Indonesia by a variety of industries. There are issues within the company that have an impact on the output. Waste issues in the manufacture of fake eyelashes are the cause of inconsistent production output, such as flaws in the goods, waiting times, and improper processing. A lean manufacturing approach is required to find a solution to the issues that PT. X is experiencing as a result of the data model. The Value Stream Mapping (VSM) method, the Activity Based Costing (ABC) method integration, the Value Stream Analysis Tools (VALSAT) method calculation, the Root Cause Analysis (RCA) method, and then gives recommendations for improvement. The use of continuous flow, task combinations, and the delivery of raw materials once each week are all suggested improvements. When current cost integrated value stream mapping is compared to future cost integrated value stream mapping, the production lead time drops from 0.5 days to 0.36 days, the total value-added cost drops from 2.049 to 1.561, the total non-value-added cost drops from 12.754 to 11.243, and the travel distance drops from 99 meters to 79 meters.

Abstract

Instalasi Industri Logam (IPT) Purbalingga melayani permintaan konsumen terhadap proses permesinan, beberapa jasa permesinan yang tersedia antara lain lathe atau bubut, milling, frais, las, dan masih banyak lagi jenis lainya. Proses permesinan paling sering yang dilakukan adalah permesinan lathe dan press. Lokasi IPT yang dekat dengan pengrajin knalpot motor menyebabkan permintaan pemesinan lathe dan press sangat tinggi. Kedua mesin tersebut rata-rata memiliki umur 10 tahun, sehingga bebera pakali mengalami break down dan produktivitasnya tidak stabil. Hasil observasi perlu pendampingan dalam pengukuran dan evaluasi produktivitas mesin bubut diperlukan. Pengukuran produktivitas ini dimaksudkan untuk menilai kemampuan IPT Logam Purbalingga untuk meningkatkan produktivitasnya. Nilai produktivitas dari setiap komponen untuk permesinan lathe bernilai lebih dari 1, yang terdiri atas 1.25  untuk  produktivitas  tenaga  kerja, 1.22 untuk produktivitas energi, dan 1 untuk produktivitas penggunaan waktu. Perbaikan yang diterapkan kepada IPT Logam Purbalingga untuk menyusun dan menerapkan program maintenance preventif yang terjadwal secara rutin. Sedangkan untuk permesinan press didapatkan hasil evaluasi produktivitas aktual sebesar Rp 800.000/bulan, Untuk produktivitas tenaga kerja permesinan press berada di angka 0,246, nilai ini masih jauh dari nilai impas produktivitas yaitu 1. Usulan dan penerapan perbaikan pada permesinan press yaitu penentuan waktu baku proses pada 18,33 detik, waktu baku tersebut dijadikan standar dalam Standar Operasional Prosedur IPT Logam Purbalingga.
