Abstract

The objective of this study is to improve the collaboration skills of fifth-grade students and mathematics learning achievement in the fraction topic at SD Negeri 2 Sangkanayu by utilizing the problem-based learning (PBL) paradigm with concrete media. This study used a two-cycle method for classroom action research (CAR). Eachcycle consisted of four steps: planning, implementation, assessment, and reflection. Nineteen students from thefifth grade of SD Negeri 2 Sangkanayu became the research subjects. Tests with assessment questions and non-test surveys about collaboration skills are examples of data instrument strategies. The research findings indicate that students' ability to collaborate with others and perform academically has improved. The average learning outcome in cycle I was 60.65 with a learning completion rate of 65.7%, while the learning achievement results in cycle II obtained an average of 83.68 with a learning completion rate of 86.8%. The average percentage of collaboration skills increased 5.1% from 75.85% in cycle I to 81% in cycle II.

Abstract

Penelitian ini telah dilaksanakan di SD Negeri 1 Karanggintung dilatarbelakangi dengan rendahnya prestasi belajar dan kemandirian belajar. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui bagaiamana penerapan model pembelajaran Discovery Learning dengan bantuan media lipat dapat meningkatkan prestasi dan  kemandirian belajar siswa kelas V dalam memahami dan menguasai materi perkalian dan pembagian pecahan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Penelitian  yang dilakukan dalam dua siklus. Setiap siklus terdiri dari dua pertemuan dan masing-masing siklus terdapat empat tahapan yaitu, perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, refleksi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan prestasi belajar siswa pada siklus I materi perkalian pecahan biasa memperoleh presentase ketuntasan belajar 65% dengan kriteria cukup. Sedangkan pada siklus II mata pelajaran matematika materi pembagian pecahan biasa memperoleh sebesar 85,25%. dengan kriteria baik sekali. Kemandirian siswa meningkat dari siklus I ke siklis II ditunjukkan oleh presentase rata-rata kemandirian belajar siswa dalam menerapkan model discovery learning selama proses pembelajaran pada siklus I sebesar 61% meningkat menjadi 86,38% pada siklus II dengan kriteria sangat baik. Kesimpulan pada penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa dengan menerapkan model discovery learning dapat meningkatkan prestasi dan kemandirian belajar pada materi perkalian dan pembagian pecahan.

Abstract

Initial observations serve as the basis for the implementation of this research. It was found that the majority of Grade III students at SD N 3 Pengadegan still lack communication skills, and the overall mastery level has not reached the predetermined KKM (Minimum Mastery Criteria), which is 65. This research was conducted using the classroom action research method consisting of two cycles through four stages of each cycle: planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The subjects of this study were 21 Grade III students of SD N 3 Pengadegan. The research instruments used were observation, evaluation questions, and questionnaires. Data analysis shows that students' communication skills have significantly improved from the beginning (55%) to the end (95%), indicating a significant change in students' communication skills. Additionally, academic achievement also increased from 38.10% to 78.56%, with the overall average scores for each cycle being 60.31 and 76.74, respectively. Therefore, it can be concluded that the implementation of the Team Games Tournament model using concrete media in Grade III of SD N 3 Pengadegan can enhance students' communication skills and academic achievement.

Abstract

Penelitian ini adalah tentang meningkatkan keingintahuan siswa dan hasil belajar matematika mereka dalam sifat-sifat bangun ruang melalui model pembelajaran van hiele untuk kelas V MIM Kedungwuluh Lor dilakukan pada bulan Mei sampai Juli 2019. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui prestasi belajar matematika mereka terutama untuk hasil materi sifat-sifat bangun ruang untuk siswa kelas V MIM Kedungwuluh Lor kabupaten Banyumas. Metode penelitian ini dilaksanakan sebanyak dua siklus, penelitian tindakan kelas dengan perencanaan, observasi, refleksi untuk setiap siklus. Hasil siklus pertama menunjukkan prestasi siswa 67,33 dengan ketuntasan belajar siswa 93%. Oleh karena itu dapat disimpulkan jika model pembelajaran van hiele dapat meningkatkan prestasi belajar matematika siswa kelas V MIM Kedungwuluh Lor dengan diskusi utama tentang identifikasi karakter tokoh tiga dimensi.

Abstract

The purpose of researchers carrying out research is to increase learning achievement by applying the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model to students. The research used is Classroom Action Research (CAR) with 2 cycles and each cycle is applied to 2 meetings, each meeting consisting of planning, action, observation, and reflection of learning. Tools used by researchers to collect data are written test questions, activity and observation sheets for teachers and activity and observation sheets for students, and documentation. The subjects of this study were 12 students at an elementary school located in Kembaran District, Banyumas Regency. The learning outcomes before the research was conducted had an average learning outcome score of 65.83. Research results and shows the first cycle of the results of the value of students got an average of 83.33. There was an increase in cycle II with an achievement of 92.5 on the average learning value of students. This proves that PBL can increase the learning achievement of grade III students and motivation in flat building material.

Abstract

The low level of discipline and learning achievement of student in the subject of Social Studies for grade IV with the material “Building a Civilized Society” is the background for this study. The purpose of this study is to improve students discipline and learning achievement through the application of the PBL model assisted by audio-visual media. The study was conducted in two cycles using the Kemiis and MC. Taggart models, with subjects being students of grade IVB of SD Negeri 1 Sumbang. Data collection was carried out through test and non-tes techniques using observation sheet instruments, tests, questionnaires and documentation. The results of the study showed an increased i the average score of student discipline from 2,48 (not good) in cycle I to 3,26 (very good) in cycle II. Student learning achievement increased from cycle I 61,29 (sufficient), and cycle II 80,65% (very good). The results of this study indicate that the application of the PBL model assisted by audio-visual media can improve students discipline and learning achievement in the subject of Social Studies.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the implementation of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model in improving student learning achievement and mutual cooperation attitude in science learning. This study used the Classroom Action Research (CAR) method. The subjects of the study were 33 students of class III A of SD Negeri 2 Purbalingga Lor. The research data collection technique used test and non-test techniques. Based on the results of the study, there was an increase in student learning achievement and mutual cooperation attitude. Student learning achievement in cycle I with a percentage of completion of 37.09%. In cycle II, student learning achievement increased with a percentage of completion of 79.025%. Student mutual cooperation attitude in cycle I with a percentage of 48.38% and an increase in cycle II with a percentage of 83.87%.

Abstract

This study aims to improve students academic achievement and collaborative attitude in the IPAS subject through the implementation of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model supported by the Nearpod educational website. The research was conducted as a Classroom Action Research over two cycles, involving 18 fifth-grade students of SD Negeri 2 Banjarsari Wetan. The results is increased the average student achievement score from 59.03 (categorized as low) in the first cycle to 84.40 (categorized as good) in the second cycle, with mastery learning rates rising from 61.11% to 88.89%. Additionally, students’ collaborative attitude improved markedly, with average scores rising from 56.71 (low) to 84.49 (good), indicating success in fostering teamwork and group responsibility. Therefore, the PBL model supported by Nearpod proved effective in enhancing both academic achievement and students' collaborative attitude.

Abstract

Collaborative Analysis of Students in Mathematics Learning Class V SD Negeri 1 Karanglewas. The purpose of this study is to find out how collaborative it is between grade V students of SD Negeri 1 Karanglewas in mathematics learning. The method used in this study is a descriptive research method with a qualitative approach. With a population of 11 students in grade V of SD Negeri 1 Karanglewas, 3 students were then taken based on the level of student ability as a research sample based on the purpose sampling technique taken based on the consideration of abilities divided from 1 student with high ability, 1 student with medium ability and 1 student with low ability. The results of the study show that the collaborative nature of grade V students in mathematics learning has developed well, although there are still various aspects that require further guidance. Overall, support from teachers and principals through an active learning approach plays a role in fostering students' collaborative skills. The results of the interviews conducted were in line with previous observations.
