Abstract

This systematic literature review aims to synthesize factors contributing to cyber aggression, drawn from various empirical studies. This review examines individual, social, and situational factors that shape the tendency of cyber aggression, as well as the interaction between factors. Referring to Grigg's theory, the dynamics of cyber aggression are influenced by various factors, ranging from the motivation of the perpetrator to the conditions of the social environment. Several relevant theories to explain such as Social Learning Theory, Cognitive Theory and Frustration-Aggression Theory. The research design uses a systematic literature review, from 2010-2024. Search through electronic databases: Frontiers, Elsevier, Springer, Routledge, and Google Scholar. Search keywords: "cyber aggression", and "factors that influence". After applying the inclusion criteria and removing several articles according to the research objectives, 19 articles were obtained to be identified and synthesized. The findings highlight the complex and multifactorial nature of cyber aggression, which underscores the need for a holistic approach to address this problem. This review provides a comprehensive overview of the existing literature, identifies gaps in knowledge, and offers implications for future research and practical applications.

Abstract

The use of gadget besides resulted in positive impacts with this renewal of the rapid information and knowledge, unwittingly also had a negative impact, one of these is the dependence.The negative impact of the use of other gawai is uneasy if not gadget holds or operates, incapacitates the socialization of children, cognitive and ability.This will be more terrible if the role without of supervision the neighborhood or parents, so that the child does not have control over the use of gadget. This study attempts to develop reading materials friendly children to overcome addiction gadget in young junior high school. This study using ADDIE model was with developmental step of the 5, analisys, design, development, implementation, evaluation. Output of this research is give aspiration of reading materials to overcome gadget addiction that emerged in the community and the publication of articles.

Abstract

Kesehatan mental remaja merupakan permasalahan yang perlu menjadi fokus utama karena remaja adalah generasi penerus yang perlu disiapkan sebagai generasi baru Indonesia. Tujuan dari pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah memberikan pemahaman yang komprehensif tentang kesehatan mental dan fisik kepada siswa remaja. Desain pengabdian dilakukan melalui sosialisasi dan edukasi kepada siswa kelas XI SMK Negeri I Surabaya,  berjumlah 607 siswa. Metode yang diterapkan terbagi menjadi 4 kegiatan. Tahap pertama adalah penyuluhan interaktif, diskusi dalam kelompok kecil, praktek dan demonstrasi, serta diakhiri dengan evaluasi dan refleksi. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan respon positif dan dampak yang signifikan bagi peserta, dengan meningkatkannya pemahaman mereka tentang pentingnya menjaga kesehatan mental. Selain itu, peserta juga mengetahui kekuatan diri masing-masing sebagai salah satu faktor utama dalam menjaga kesehatan mental. Rekomendasi kegiatan, yakni perlunya diadakan kegiatan sejenis dengan peserta dan tempat yang berbeda.

Abstract

Self Compassion and Psychological Well Being which aims as an attitude of kindness to oneself in facing various difficulties, which is needed by Guidance and Counseling Students. Using a quantitative approach cross-sectional design. Data were collected through 2 types of measurement scales, namely the Self Compassion Scale and the Psychological Well Being Scale, using the Simple Random Sampling technique to select 132 respondents randomly from 160 populations, the results of the analysis with the Spearman test showed 0.000 because the Sig. value. (2-tailed) <0.05, indicating a strong influence. The findings of this study are useful for guidance and counseling services on campus in the application of Self Compassion to Psychological Well Being in Guidance and Counseling Students.

Abstract

The digital era has brought significant changes in socializing and association, especially among young adolescents. Unfortunately, along with it, negative trends have emerged, such as cyber aggression, which is influenced by the level of moral disengagement of students in justifying their detrimental behavior online. This study aims to analyze the influence of moral disengagement on cyber aggression behavior. The research approach used is quantitative, with a cross-sectional design. The sampling technique used simple random sampling. The research participants were 9th grade students at UPT SMPN 29 Gresik, totaling 130 people. Data collection used a moral disengagement and cyber aggression scale. Data analysis used a simple linear regression test technique. The results of the study showed that there was an influence of moral disengagement on cyber aggression of 22.8% with a significance level of 0.000 <0.05. The implications of the study indicate the importance of preventive efforts for cyber aggression behavior by providing education on digital ethics and healthy use of social media.

Abstract

In completing their final assignments, students often face various challenges that can affect their level of resilience, while resilience is an important factor in determining academic success. This study aims to analyze the role of self-efficacy and peer support on students' resilience in writing their theses. The research design was a survey. The respondents were students of the Faculty of Education and Teacher Training, Universitas PGRI Adi Buana Surabaya, Class of 2021, who were writing their theses (N=131). Data collection used a valid and reliable measurement scale for self-efficacy, peer support, and academic resilience. Data analysis used multiple regression tests to test the hypothesis regarding the effect of self-efficacy and peer support on resilience in writing a thesis. The results showed that self-efficacy had a positive and significant effect on resilience in writing a thesis. The novelty of the study lies in the combination of self-efficacy and peer support variables, as well as the focus on the context of writing a thesis. The implications of the study provide a comprehensive understanding of the factors that influence student resilience in completing a thesis, to develop more effective support programs. While the limitations that need to be considered are related to the generalization of the research results to a wider population.Keywords: self-efficacy, peer support, resilience in writing a thesis, survey research

Abstract

Tujuan temuan adalah menganalisis pengaruh self-esteem dan self-regulation terhadap Fear of Missing Out (FoMO). Hal ini disebabkan individu selalu menilai dirinya negatif, dan kurangnya kemampuan untuk mengontrol diri dalam bermedia sosial. Desain penelitian adalah survei, dengan sampel penelitian peserta didik kelas VIII dan kelas IX MTsN 2 Sidoarjo (N = 265) melalui teknik cluster sampling. Pengambilan data menggunakan skala self-esteem, skala self-regulation dan skala FoMO. Uji analisis menggunakan uji regresi linear berganda. Hasil temuan menyimpulkan bahwa self-esteem memiliki pengaruh negatif terhadap FoMO, nilai koefisien regresi -0,474 dengan sig. 0,000 < 0,05. Self-regulation memiliki pengaruh negatif terhadap FoMO, nilai koefisien korelasi -0,068 dengan sig. 0,031<0,05. Ketiga variabel memiliki pengaruh, dengan nilai R2 sebanyak 0,334 dengan sig. 0,000<0,05. Artinya ada pengaruh negatif antara self-esteem dan self-regulation terhadap FoMO. Implikasi penelitian menunjukkan pentingnya penguatan self-esteem dan self-regulation dalam mencegah terjadinya FoMO

Broken homes can have a significant impact on children's psychological development, including in terms of self-confidence. The purpose of this study was to investigate the effectiveness of reality techniques in group counseling to increase the self-confidence of students from broken homes. The research method used was a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design, involving an experimental group that received group counseling intervention with reality techniques and a control group that did not receive intervention. The research participants were students who were identified as coming from broken homes and had low levels of self-confidence. Sampling was carried out using a purposive sampling technique (N = 5). The instrument used to measure self-confidence was a self-confidence scale, measured before and after the intervention. Data analysis used the Wilcoxon test to determine the difference in significant increases before and after treatment. The results showed that group counseling with reality techniques significantly increased the self-confidence of broken home students. The implications of the study indicate the importance of psychological support for broken home students to overcome self-confidence problems.

Abstract

Abstract In the context of education in the digital era, many students experience increased stress due to high academic demands and distractions from the use of digital technology. The use of digital devices, although it provides many advantages, also increases the risk of impaired concentration and student learning motivation. This participatory webinar aims to implement mindful learning in counseling services. The service design uses participatory webinars, integrates the principles of Community-Based Participatory Research, and maximizes the interaction and involvement of 290 participants consisting of lecturers, teachers, and BK students. The activity was carried out online on March 8-10, 2025. The results showed the effectiveness of the webinar in improving the understanding and skills of BK teachers about mindful learning, with a significant increase after the webinar. This implementation has a positive impact on clients, including increasing self-awareness, emotional regulation, and interpersonal relationships. The contribution of the activity is related to the development of a collaborative network between BK teachers, while the implications of the activity are related to the development of ongoing training and mentoring programs for BK teachers.
