Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan e-modul pelatihan Building Information Modelling (BIM) pada Jabatan Kerja Modeller BIM Muda Jenjang 5 berdasarkan SKKNI No. 3 Tahun 2023. E-modul ini dirancang sebagai bahan pelatihan BIM agar dapat membantu peserta pelatihan BIM untuk menjadi seorang modeller BIM muda. Metode penelitian yang digunakan Research and Development dengan menggunakan model pengembangan dari Thiagarajan (4D) yang terdiri atas Define, Design, Development, dan Disseminate. Penelitian ini berawal dari studi literatur, proses pengembangan produk menggunakan software Canva. Kemudian, dilakukan validasi produk oleh ahli materi, ahli media, dan uji coba terbatas oleh pengguna produk. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif, dan instrumen penelitian menggunakan kuesioner untuk mengumpulkan data yang dilakukan pada proses validasi. Hasil persentase validasi ahli materi yang diperoleh sebesar 93,5% dengan kategori “Sangat Layak”. Sedangkan, hasil persentase validasi ahli media memperoleh sebesar 85,9% dengan kategori “Sangat Layak”. Berdasarkan uji coba terbatas terdapat peningkatan hasil belajar sebesai 47,33% dan hasil uji n-gain sebesar 0,79 dengan kategori tinggi. Sementara, hasil penilaian pengguna terhadap produk sebesar 93% dengan kategori “Sangat Layak”. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut dapat dinyatakan bahwa e-modul dapat digunakan dalam pelatihan BIM bagi calon modeller BIM muda.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the lack of ability of prospective teachers in communicating with students which causes the learning process to be less effective. The purpose of this study is to analyze learning communication using the VICS (Verbal Interaction Category Systems) model for prospective vocational teachers in the Teaching Skills Practice (PKM). This research method uses a qualitative descriptive approach with case study analysis. The sample is students who are taking part in the Teaching Skills Practice (PKM) at SMK Teknik Bangunan as many as 3 people. Data collection uses interaction observation instruments, interviews and documentation. The results of the study showed that the average frequency of areas A, B, D, E, D, H, I was very high at 46.65% which stated that prospective teachers still dominate during learning activities compared to students, the frequency of areas C, G, J, K, L, M, P, Q, R was 30.37% which stated that there was already feedback interaction between prospective teachers and students, and the frequency of areas N, O, S, T was only 22.98% which stated that student activities were still too passive compared to teachers during the learning process in class. Thus, it can be concluded that learning communication carried out in teaching skills practice is dominated by the teacher.

Abstract

English instruction at the elementary level often struggles with fostering engagement and critical thinking among students. This research aims to address these challenges by developing an instructional design that combines the flipped classroom model with a problem-posing strategy for fifth-grade English learners. The research adopts the Dick and Carey development model, supported by Leung’s problem-posing framework, to create a structured learning approach grounded in constructivist and critical pedagogy theories. Data were collected through classroom observations, interviews, pre- and post-tests, and expert validations. The design was evaluated by learning, media, and material experts with high feasibility ratings of 89%, 86%, and 88%, respectively. Implementation of the model in a classroom setting demonstrated substantial improvements in student outcomes, with critical thinking scores rising from 48% to 93% and English comprehension improving from 70% to 88%. Statistical analysis confirmed the effectiveness of the model (p < 0.05). These findings underscore the model's ability to enhance student engagement, critical thinking, and language proficiency. The research contributes to pedagogical innovation by extending flipped learning and problem-posing strategies to younger learners, suggesting their broader applicability in early education. It also provides practical insights for educators and curriculum developers seeking to implement interactive and student-centered instructional models in the digital age.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan para ibu warga proklim RW 01, Jatinegara Kaum dalam memanfaatkan sampah plastik kresek. Kegiatan pengabdian dilaksanakan melalui metode ceramah dan simulasi serta praktek pengolahan sampah kantong kresek. Kegiatan dilaksanakan dengan 2 tahapan. Tahapan pertama adalah dengan cara mengolah sampah plastik kresek menjadi produk yang bermanfaat. Tahapan kedua adalah dengan memaparkan teknik marketing, menentukan nilai jual produk. Bertempat di Gedung Serba Guna RW 01, Jatinegara Kaum dan diikuti oleh 10 peserta. Partisipasi dan antusiasme warga dalam kegiatan sangat baik dalam mengikut kegiatan dari awal hingga akhir dan berhasil menampilkan karyanya berupa tas dan dompet dari berbagai ukuran yang terbuat dari plastik kresek. Dampak dari kegiatan ini adalah peserta dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan dalam mengolah sampah kantong kresek rumah tangga menjadi barang cantik dan kreatif. Hasil dari kegiatan pelatihan ini adalah 100% dari peserta menyatakan sangat senang dengan pelatihan ini, karena dengan kegiatan ini pengetahuan peserta bertambah, memiliki kebermanfaatan dari sampah plastik kresek yang didaur ulang serta dapat menambah income keluarga, menggali kreativitas dalam menciptakan produk yang bagus dan menjadi paham menentukan harga jual dari suatu produk. Kesimpulan dari kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini sangat bermanfaat. Kata kunci: Sampah plastik kresek, daur ulang, produk cantik, produk kreatif. ABSTRACT This community service activity aims to improve the knowledge and skills of mothers of the RW 01 proklim, Jatinegara Kaum residents in utilizing plastic bag waste. The community service activity was carried out through lecture methods and simulations as well as practices for processing plastic bag waste. The activity was carried out in 2 stages. The first stage is by processing plastic bag waste into useful products. The second stage is by explaining marketing techniques, determining the selling value of the product. Taking place at the RW 01 Multipurpose Building, Jatinegara Kaum and attended by 10 participants. The participation and enthusiasm of residents in the activity were very good in following the activity from start to finish and successfully displaying their work in the form of bags and wallets of various sizes made of plastic bags. The impact of this activity is that participants can improve their knowledge and skills in processing household plastic bag waste into beautiful and creative items. The result of this training activity is 100% of the participants stated that they were very happy with this training, because with this activity the participants' knowledge increased, they had the benefits of recycled plastic bag waste and could increase family income, explore creativity in creating good products and understand how to determine the selling price of a product. The conclusion of this community service activity is very useful. Keywords: Plastic bag waste, recycling, beautiful products, creative products.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan dan mengevaluasi kelayakan E-LKPD berbasis Project-Based Learning (PjBL) pada materi Instalasi Air Bersih dan Air Kotor untuk siswa kelas XI Program Keahlian Desain Pemodelan dan Informasi Bangunan di SMKN 6 Bekasi. Pengembangan media dilakukan menggunakan model ADDIE yang mencakup lima tahap, yaitu Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, dan Evaluate. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara untuk analisis kebutuhan, serta angket yang disebarkan kepada ahli materi, ahli media, dan praktisi pembelajaran guna menilai kelayakan produk. Instrumen angket disusun berdasarkan skala Likert 4 poin, dan data dianalisis menggunakan analisis statistik deskriptif dengan Guessing Formula serta Penilaian Acuan Patokan (PAP). Hasil validasi menunjukkan bahwa media dinyatakan sangat layak dengan nilai rata-rata dari ahli materi sebesar 97% dan dari ahli media sebesar 86%. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa E-LKPD berbasis PjBL yang dikembangkan efektif dalam mendukung pembelajaran yang interaktif, kontekstual, dan sesuai kebutuhan dunia industri.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the potential and characteristics of interactive multimedia with an effective Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) approach in elementary school mathematics learning through a Systematic Literature Review (SLR). A total of 18 relevant studies were analyzed in this study, which consisted of journal articles published in 2013-2023. Scientific journals or conference proceedings are used indexed by Scopus Q1-Q4. The exclusion criteria in this article are articles that do not have a complete structure, review articles or conceptual articles that do not report the results of empirical research. The results of the analysis show that interactive multimedia with the CTL approach has great potential in improving the learning outcomes, motivation, engagement, and understanding of mathematical concepts of elementary school students. CTL allows students to see how mathematical concepts can be applied in everyday life, making the learning process more relevant and engaging. Characteristics of interactive multimedia with an effective CTL approach include the use of rich and relevant visuals to real-world contexts, interactivity that allows active exploration, authentic presentation of problems, constructive feedback, scaffolding that suits the needs of students, and the integration of elements of art and aesthetics. The implementation of interactive multimedia with the CTL approach also has challenges, such as the availability of technology infrastructure and teacher competence. This study implies that teachers and researchers need to realize that the design and use of interactive multimedia with the CTL approach can effectively improve the quality of mathematics learning in elementary school.

Abstract

This study examined the classroom management skills of prospective vocational teachers in the Building Construction Expretise Program during teaching practice in DKI Jakarta. Participants were 17 prospective teachers and 286 students, selected through purposive sampling. The study used a mixed-methods sequential explanatory design, combining quantitative data from a Likert-scale questionnaire and qualitative data from classroom observations. The prospective vocational teachers showed strong skills in creating a positive classroom environment (76.2%) and preventing problems (72.0%). However, they had dificulties in managing existing problems (53.4%) and in building effective classroom systems (46.0%). Weak areas included enthusiasm for teaching, giving praise and criticism, giving rewards and punishments, coaching, managing mobile phone, classroom design, motivating students, and building relationships. These findings indicate that prospective vocational teachers need more training and examples to improve their classroom management skills.

Abstract

Keterbatasan akses air bersih di wilayah pesisir Muara Gembong menjadi latar belakang penting bagi penelitian ini, yang bertujuan merancang desain dudukan alat mesin penjernih air yang inovatif dan berkelanjutan. Penelitian ini berfokus pada pengembangan solusi untuk mengatasi permasalahan kualitas air payau dengan pendekatan yang sederhana, efektif, dan terjangkau. Metode yang digunakan melibatkan pendekatan teknis melalui kerja lapangan, di mana masyarakat berperan aktif dalam proses perancangan. Dengan melibatkan masyarakat lokal, diharapkan desain yang dihasilkan tidak hanya memenuhi fungsi teknis, tetapi juga dapat diproduksi secara lokal menggunakan material yang ramah lingkungan. Hasil yang diharapkan dari penelitian ini adalah terciptanya dudukan alat yang fungsional dan berkelanjutan, yang dapat meningkatkan kualitas hidup masyarakat pesisir. Selain itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendorong kemandirian masyarakat dalam pengelolaan sumber daya air dan menjaga kelestarian lingkungan. Dengan demikian, penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi signifikan terhadap solusi masalah air bersih di Muara Gembong dan menjadi model bagi daerah lain yang menghadapi tantangan serupa.

Abstract

This activity is a community service activity carried out by a team of lecturers and students of the Civil Engineering FT UNJ in collaboration with Muara Gembong sub-district and the Pantai Mekar village apparatus. Problems that occur in Muara Gembong are related to critical environmental conditions in coastal areas. Plastic waste that is scattered increasingly makes the environment irregular. This problem is a domino effect of the high level of abrasion in the region. The output target to be achieved is that the community gets knowledge about waste management through a waste bank. In addition, this activity can motivate people to manage waste. The waste bank system is expected to be effective in protecting the environment. This can be an additional income for the customers of the waste bank. The method of activity consists of the preparation and implementation stages. The preparation stage is in the form of regional observation and communication with partners. Then, the implementation phase is in the form of debriefing and training in waste bank management. Abstrak Pelatihan Manajemen Bank Sampah bagi Masyarakat di Kecamatan Muara Gembong, Kabupaten Bekasi, Provinsi Jawa Barat merupakan kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat yang dilakukan oleh tim dosen dan mahasiswa Rumpun Teknik Sipil FT UNJ bekerja sama dengan kecamatan Muara Gembong dan aparatur desa Pantai Mekar. Permasalahan yang ditemui berkaitan dengan kondisi lingkungan yang kritis di wilayah pesisir Muara Gembong. Sampah-sampah plastik yang berserakan semakin membuat lingkungan tidak teratur. Permasalahan ini merupakan efek domino dari semakin tingginya tingkat abrasi di wilayah tersebut. Target luaran yang ingin dicapai adalah masyarakat mendapatkan pengetahuan mengenai pengelolaan sampah melalui bank sampah. Selain itu, kegiatan ini dapat memotivasi masyarakat dalam mengelola sampah. Konsep bank sampah diharapkan selain menjaga lingkungan sekitar dapat pula menjadi tambahan pemasukan bagi para nasabah bank sampah. Metode kegiatan terdiri dari tahap persiapan dan pelaksanaan. Tahap persiapan yaitu berupa observasi wilayah dan menjalin komunikasi dengan mitra. Kemudian, tahap pelaksanaan berupa pembekalan dan pelatihan manajemen bank sampah.

Abstract

The development of artificial intelligence (AI) technology has had a significant impact on higher education. This study aims to assess the level of knowledge, understanding, and use of AI among students in the context of final project preparation. This study uses a quantitative descriptive approach to measure three main dimensions—knowledge, understanding, and practical use (application) in the context of academic research. The population in this study consisted of 172 students from the Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Negeri Jakarta, who were conducting academic research. The sampling technique employed was non-probability sampling, utilizing a purposive sampling approach. Data analysis used exploratory factor analysis (EFA). The results showed that students have excellent knowledge of AI. Meanwhile, the understanding of AI shows varying levels, with the majority falling into the sufficient and low categories, indicating a need to improve AI literacy. The use of AI by students is primarily focused on aspects of writing, research, and document creation, with a reasonably consistent usage pattern and an average duration of 1-2 hours per session. These findings confirm that students actively utilize various AI in the academic process, but still require training and supervision to ensure that AI use can be carried out ethically and responsibly. The results of this study are important as a basis for developing institutional policies and ethical regulations related to the integration of AI into academic processes, as well as a reference for designing effective training programs to improve students' competency in optimally utilizing AI technology.
