Abstract

The repeated and alternating use of compact powder can increase the risk of bacterical contamination. This contamination can be harmful to the skin health of the users, especially if the compact powder used has been contamination with bacteria exceeding the standard limit set by BPOM, which is 5 × 10³ colonies/g or colonies/mL. Therefore, an analysis of bacterial contamination in the repeatedly and alternately used sompact powder from various uses is necessary using the Total Plate Cound (TPC) method to ensure the suitability and safety of the compact powder. The objective is to determine the level of bacterial contamination based on the Total Plate Cound (TPC) on compact powder used by makeup artists, tester from cosmetic stores, personal use dan new product. The samples of conpact powder analyzed amounted to 24 samples, using purposive sampling technique and the data was analyzed descriptively. The result obtained from the calculation of the average number of bacterical colonies in personal use compact powder, new product and tester from each cosmetic store are < 3 x 10¹ CFU/g, while the average for compact powders sourced from makeup artists is 1.66 x 10^5 CFU/g. Compact powder derived from personal use, new products, and those used as testers by cosmetic stores show ALT values that still fall within the category of meeting the standards set by BPOM. Meanwhile, compact powder derived from makeup artists shows ALT values that exceed the standards set by BPOM.

Abstract

Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF) is a disease caused by the dengue virus. DHF can cause two main pathological changes, namely increased capillary permeability, which causes hemoconcentration due to a decrease in plasma volume in the blood vessels and hemostasis disorders caused by coagulopathy, vasculopathy and thrombocytopenia. Routine examination parameters for dengue sufferers are complete blood to monitor platelet counts. Supporting examinations are also required, one of which is checking albumin levels. This research aims to know of determine the correlation between platelet counts and levels in dengue fever sufferers in Mataram City. This research uses the Observational Analytical method with a cross sectional approach. DHF sufferers will have a complete blood count and albumin examination, then an analysis will be carried out using the Spearman test. This study used 24 samples and it was found that the overall average platelet count was 56,000/ul of blood. The platelet value was obtained with a range of 26,000/ul blood to 91,000/ul blood. The overall average albumin level is 3.28 g/dL, with a range of albumin levels from 2.78 g/dL to 4.12 g/dL. There is a relationship between platelet count and albumin levels in dengue fever sufferers in Mataram City based on the results of the Spearman test with a p value <0.05.

Abstract

In Indonesia, Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF) fluctuates every year and tends to increase in morbidity rates and the distribution of affected areas. Extraordinary Events (KLB) DHF occurs almost every year in different places and its occurrence is difficult to predict. Report on the results of the 2021 Community Health Center work program, Larval Free Rate (ABJ) in the Babakan Community Health Center work area in 2021 94.4%. ABJ in Babakan Village is 94% and ABJ in Cakranegara Selatan Baru Village is 87%. Control of the dengue mosquito vector is by using chemical insecticides at home such as mosquito coils, sprays, lotions and other forms. Many of these anti-mosquito drugs have a risk of harm to humans and the environment due to the use of toxic products contained in anti-mosquito drugs. The aim of Community Service (PKM) is to determine the empowerment of Health Cadres at Posyandu Prima in controlling dengue vectors by using anti-mosquito plants in the Babakan Community Health Center working area. The solution offered in PKM is the empowerment of health cadres at Posyandu Prima through promotional efforts regarding Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever and its eradication as well as Preventive efforts through controlling dengue vectors by using anti-mosquito plants to increase ABJ. The results that have been achieved after providing outreach to health cadres and village officials as partners are increased knowledge and understanding about dengue fever and vector control. Health cadres' skills in larva surveying and the use of anti-mosquito plants after training increased. The evaluation results of calculating the ABJ value in Babakan Village and Cakranegara Selatan Baru Village increased to ≥ 95% according to WHO standards.

Abstract

Tempos Village is one of 11 villages/sub-districts in Gerung District, West Lombok Regency with the highest number of dengue fever cases and some have even died. The number of dengue fever cases in the Gerung Community Health Center working area in 2022 was 43 people with a Larvae Free Rate (ABJ) of 91.1%. The number of dengue fever cases in Tempos village in 2022 is 6 cases with an ABJ of 89%. At the beginning of January 2023, there was 1 case of death in Tempos village. The problem in Tempos village is the lack of knowledge and skills as well as motivation of the target audience, namely Posyandu women and health cadres in Tempos village regarding dengue fever, prevention efforts as well as early treatment of infected residents and vector control with natural ingredients and ABJ < 95%. The solution offered in the implementation of the Community Service (PKM) Community Partnership Program (PKM) for empowering Posyandu in preventing dengue fever in Tempos village in the working area of the Gerung Health Center, West Lombok Regency is with promotive and preventive efforts. The results that have been achieved are the implementation of PKM starting from obtaining permits and observations, socialization and counseling in Tempos village and training at the Gerung Community Health Center. Health cadres can campaign for the use of anti-mosquito plants and larvae-eating fish among mothers at Posyandu. Every Friday village officials together with health cadres and the community carry out 3 M plus activities and the 1 house 1 jumantik movement. To ensure the continuity of the program, anti-mosquito plant seeds have been handed over along with pots, larvae-eating fish seeds and flashlights to be used in larvae surveys to the village which are then handed over to health cadres from Posyandu representatives in each hamlet.
