Abstract

Used oil is B3 waste (hazardous and toxic material) which can cause soil pollution and reduce soil productivity. The accumulation of metals in the soil caused by waste oil pollution causes a decrease in soil quality and can become a pollutant that affects life around it. There needs to be a way to improve the quality of polluted soil, with phytoremediation techniques and the addition of organic matter to polluted soil. This research aims to analyze the effect of the dose of liquid compost on the growth of elephant grass in soil contaminated with used oil waste. This research used a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with compost fertilizer factors consisting of 4 dose levels and a total of 60 sample observation units. The research results showed that a 50 ml dose of compost had the best effect on the growth of elephant grass planted on soil contaminated with used oil waste. A dose of 50 ml was proven to increase the growth of elephant grass in the parameters of plant height, number of tillers and fresh shoot weight.

Abstract

Penggunaan pupuk anorganik yang tinggi di kalangan petani pedesaan, meskipun praktis dan murah, dapat mencemari tanah dan mengurangi kesuburannya. Sebagai alternatif, pupuk organik diperlukan karena lebih aman dan ramah lingkungan. Pupuk organik dapat memperbaiki kualitas tanah dan membuka peluang inovasi pertanian di pedesaan. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat di Kecamatan Bandar Negeri Suoh, Kabupaten Lampung Barat, bertujuan meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan dalam memanfaatkan pupuk organik lokal. Kegiatan ini meliputi penyuluhan dan pelatihan pembuatan kompos dari bahan organik lokal dengan metode Participation Rural Appraisal (PRA). Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan antusiasme tinggi dari masyarakat yang sebagian besar adalah petani. Evaluasi awal dan akhir menunjukkan peningkatan pengetahuan tentang pupuk organik, jenis-jenisnya, manfaatnya, dan teknik pembuatannya. Penyuluhan ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan produksi dan pendapatan masyarakat serta mendorong praktik pertanian berkelanjutan di wilayah tersebut.

Abstract

This article focused on the development of the Fishermen's Village area in Muara Village, Wanasalam District, Lebak Regency during the implementation of the Sekaya Maritim Program from 2000 to 2018. “Sekaya Maritim” stands for Seribu Kampung Nelayan yang Mandiri, Tangguh, Indah dan Maju. The program is part of the process and efforts to make fishermen more independent so that they can improve their living standards. The Sekaya Maritim program is implemented in almost all coastal areas of Indonesia, especially fisheries centers. Therefore, Muara Village as one of the villages in Lebak Regency became one of the locations for the implementation of Sekaya Maritim. The condition of the community and infrastructure in Muara Village Fishermen Village still needs attention. This is because the level of community welfare is still low and the condition of the infrastructure also looks alarming. Through the historical method, the results show that the implementation of Sekaya Maritim in Muara Village was carried out by providing various assistance and infrastructure development. The various changes that occurred as a result of the Sekaya Maritim Program have at least improved community welfare due to the opening of various accesses for the community and adequate facilities.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana karyawan SMAN I Pagaran Tapah Darussalam mengembangkan pengetahuan, kemampuan, dan sikap mereka. Tenaga kependidikan di SMAN I Pagaran Tapah Darussalam berperan sebagai informan penelitian untuk penelitian deskriptif kualitatif ini. Metode wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data, yang kemudian dilakukan melalui tiga langkah analisis: reduksi data, penyajian data, dan verifikasi/penarikan kesimpulan. Temuan penelitian ini menjelaskan bahwa pendidikan formal dan informal, penerapan bidang ilmiah, dan pengalaman kerja semuanya berkontribusi pada pengembangan pengetahuan karyawan. Seperti yang diantisipasi, upaya untuk membangun kemampuan pengetahuan telah berhasil. Pelatihan teknis dan fungsional merupakan sarana yang digunakan karyawan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan mereka. Karena keterbatasan finansial, tidak semua dari mereka mengikuti pelatihan teknis dalam hal ini. Pengarahan, ceramah spiritual, kegiatan kemandirian, penghargaan, dan hukuman semuanya berkontribusi pada pengembangan kompetensi karyawan dalam hal sikap. Hal ini telah berjalan dengan baik dalam hal ini; satu-satunya hal yang harus diubah adalah intensitasnya.

Abstract

The problem in this research is that not all teachers understand the technique of developing learning materials. This study aims to describe the development of a collaborative supervisionprocess to improve the professional competence of teachers in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Al-Muqarrobin, Kandis District and increase teacher professional competence in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Al Muqarrobin, Kandis District after the collaborative supervision approach was applied. Sources of data came from instruments that were submitted to all Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Al-Muqarrobin teachers, Kandis Subdistrict. Data analysis was carried out using descriptive and qualitative analysis, then consulted with the success criteria to find out whether the application ofa collaborative supervisionapproach can improve teacher professionalism at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Al-Muqarrobin Kandis District. Based on the results of the study, the increase in theprofessional competence of teachers at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Al-Muqarrobin, Kandis District, was 13.64points. The average professional competence of teachers in the pre-cycle is 56.81 with less criteria and in cycle 1 it is 70.45 with sufficient criteria. The professional competence of teachers also increased from cycle 1 to cycle 2 by 18.19 points. The average professional competence of teachers in cycle 2 is 88.64 with good criteria. Based on the results of the data analysis above, it is concluded that the professional competence of teachers at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Al-Muqarrobin,Kandis District can be improved through the application of a collaborative supervision approach.

Abstract

This research can be claasified into descriptive research which consist of one independentvariable namely situational leadership and one dependent variable namely employees workeffectiveness. The research resulted in several conclusions are; (1) The variable of EmployeesWork Effectiveness is shown, 6.19% employees have extremely low work effectiveness, 52.58%employees have low work effectiveness, 34.02% employees have high work effectiveness, and7.22% employees have exteremely high work effectiveness. Based on the research finding, theemployees work effectiveness at Education and Sport Official Government, Pekanbaru can beclassified into low level; (2) The variable of Situational Leadership is shown 6.19% leaders have extremely low of situational leadership, 47.42% leaders have low of situational leadership,41.24% leaders have high of situational leadership, and 5.15% leaders have extremely high of situational leadership. Based on the research finding, the situational leadership at Education and Sport Official Government, Pekanbaru can be classified into low level.

Abstract

Forests are a source of various types of medicinal plants. Plants that live wildly in forest areas are also included in the Forest Park area, Wan Abdul Rachman. Type identification is the first step for the use and preservation of these medicinal plants. Therefore a study was conducted which aims to determine the types, density of each population and the degree of dominance of each population of medicinal plants. This research was carried out in the farmer's group cultivated area of Kelompok Pengelola dan Pelestari Hutan (KPPH) Talang Mulya Tahura Wan Abdul Rachman. This research was conducted using a double plot method. The number of sample plots is 87 plots, each measuring 2m x 2m. The variables observed included plant species, the density of each population and the degree of dominance of each population of medicinal plants. The results of this study were identified 29 types of medicinal plants belonging to 18 plant families. The majority of medicinal plants are dominated by awar-awar, while the lowest is the curcuma and pepper. There are quite a lot of medicinal plants in the area cultivated by KPPH Talang Mulya farmers, but there are medicinal plants which are threatened by populations such as temulawak, allegedly because they are used by the community without cultivation. Abstract

The professional competency of teachers referred to in this research is the education of teachers who teach in elementary schools (SD) in implementing thematic learning. At the elementary school level there are still teachers whose professional qualifications do not match the needs of elementary schools. If this can be done permanently, it cannot be denied that this will have an impact on teachers' professional competence in implementing thematic learning in the future. Thematic learning is a learning model that allows students to study academic concepts and principles comprehensively, meaningfully and authentically, individually and in groups. The type of research used in this research is a mixed/combination type of research or what is usually called mixed methods sequential explanatory model. This research aims to determine the professional competence of elementary school (SD) teachers in implementing thematic learning in elementary schools. From the results of interviews and observations made, it was proven that class Ib and IV teachers had prepared learning plans before the learning process began. Both teachers carry out the learning process based on themes that have been determined in the teacher's book and student's book. Both teachers carry out learning based on the learning implementation plan that has been prepared.

Abstract

The aim of this researchis to describe the application of picture and picture model to improvethe learning outcomes of the knowing currency history at class III SDN 009 Ganting Salo district. The formulation of the problem in this research is how the application of picture and picture model to improve learning outcomes on the material of knowing currency history at class III SDN 009 Ganting Salo district. This research was conducted in class III SDN 009 Ganting Salo district. This research was conducted in two cycles and each cycle was held twice. The subject of this research is the students of class III SDN 009 Ganting Salo district which amounted to 18 people, with the number of male students 9 people, and female students 9 people. The techniques of collection Data used in this research are of observation, documentation, and evaluation. Based on the research results can be concluded that in the first cycle is still quite good with an average of 65,28. Then from 18 students only 11 students or 61,11% who achieve mastery individually. Students' learning outcomes in cycle II is quite good with an average of 71,94, and 15 students complete or 83,33% who achieve mastery individually. Thus it can be concluded that with the implementation of picture and picture model can be improve the learning outcomes of the knowing currency history at class III SDN 009 Ganting Salo Kampar district.

Abstract

Bimbingan kompetensi sains bidang Matematika dilaksanakan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal-soal Kompetensi Sains Nasional (KSN) tingkat provinsi maupun nasional. SMA Negeri 3 Pangkalpinang setiap tahunnya mengirimkan wakil dalam kompetensi sains bidang Matematika. Siswa yang menjadi wakil dalam kompetensi sains Matematika tentu memiliki tingkat pemahaman yang lebih dari siswa lainnya. Tim Pengabdian memilih menggunakan aplikasi Geogebra untuk mengilustrasikan materi agar lebih mudah dipahami oleh siswa. Geogebra merupakan aplikasi yang mudah digunakan dan bisa diakses secara online. Berdasarkan nilai rata-rata siswa pada pretes dan posttest, terlihat peningkatan yang cukup signifikan. Namun, tim peneliti menyarankan agar melanjutkan bimbingan KSN untuk memperkaya materi dan melatih siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal-soal KSN bidang Matematika tingkat provinsi maupun nasional.
