Abstract

Employee performance is very necessary in working within the company, the importance of an employee's performance can affect the results of the work he does and also affect the goals of the company to be achieved. This study aims to analyze the effect of competence and rewards on the effectiveness of employee performance. The form of research used in this research is quantitative research with an approach. The research method used in this research is a quantitative research method with an association approach, the population in this study are PTPN III Medan HR employees with a total of 35 respondents, The primary data used was obtained by distributing questionnaires directly while the secondary data was obtained through a literature study. The data analysis method used is instrument test, classical assumption test, multiple linear regression analysis, and hypothesis testing. The results showed that competency and reward had an effect on Employee Performance Effectiveness and the results of hypothesis testing simultaneously, obtained correlation coefficient values (R) of .888, which means that there is a relationship between Competency and Reward variables on Performance Effectiveness of 88.8% so that the relationship between these variables can be categorized as very close. While the Adjusted R Square value is .775 or the value of the determinant coefficient shows that the Competency and Reward variables on Performance Effectiveness are 77.5%, while the remaining 22.5% is influenced by other factors in outside of this research.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of visual merchandising and price discounts on impulse buying (Study on Matahari Plaza Medan Fair consumers). The influence between the related variables, namely visual merchandising and price discounts, will be carried out partially and simultaneously to increase impulse buying. This study employs quantitative research with an associative methodology. Sampling utilizing the approach of purposive sampling, with 100 respondents serving as the research sample. This study's primary data were collected via Google Form questionnaires, while secondary data were obtained through a literature review. Validity test, classical assumption test, reliability test, multiple linear regression analysis, and hypothesis testing are employed as analytic methods. Results indicated that the perceived value variable (X1) partially had no effect on impulse buying (Y), whereas the discounted price variable (X2) partially had a substantial influence on impulse buying (Y). According to the coefficient of determination test, the value of R2 is 0.260, which indicates that the effect of visual merchandising and price discounts on consumers' impulse purchases at the Matahari Plaza Medan Fair is 27,5%, while the remaining 72,5% is influenced by factors that are not explained in this study.

Abstract

The intense competition among courier service brands has led some consumers to choose to use J&T Express because it is considered better than other courier service brands. Factors that can influence this brand switching are word of mouth information from consumers, dissatisfaction, and the search for new variations. This study aims to analyze the influence of word of mouth on brand switching in J&T Express courier services, analyze the influence of dissatisfaction on brand switching in J&T Express courier services, analyze the influence of variety seeking on brand switching in J&T Express courier services, and the influence of word of mouth, dissatisfaction, and variety seeking on brand switching in J&T Express courier services. Sampling was done through probability sampling technique using 100 respondents as samples. The data analysis methods used are validity test, reliability test, classic assumption test, multiple linear regression analysis, and hypothesis testing. The results of this study indicate that word of mouth, dissatisfaction, and variety seeking have a significant and simultaneous effect on brand switching.

Abstract

The prevalence of breast cancer in Indonesia is still increasing. Data from the Global Cancer Observatory shows that the most common cancer case in Indonesia is breast cancer. Meanwhile, the incidence of breast and cervical cancer in Bontang City reaches 30% of the overall cancer data in Bontang (Akurasi.id, 2024). Therefore, there is a need for a health promotion campaign and breast cancer prevention using simple communication methods. This program aimed to provide education to health cadres (PKK) in three sub-districts of Bontang, targeting 100 participants. Five sub-districts were selected from each of the three sub-districts, with seven participants sampled from 10 sub-districts and six participants sampled from five sub-districts. Participants were selected using purposive sampling. The program employed a participatory research approach based on community empowerment, using the TPS (Transactional, Precise, and Skilled) communication model. The program was conducted in three stages. In the first stage, theoretical information related to breast cancer and its prevention was provided, along with 100 questions and answers shared online beforehand. The second stage involved practicing breast self-examination (SADARI). The third stage combined theory and practice, incorporatingeducational strategies through games and evaluations. The program results showed that 83% of participants agreed that knowledge about breast cancer and its prevention was necessary. The program successfully improved the knowledge and attitudes of PKK/health cadres through an interactive, participatory approach. Although there were barriers related to participant agility, support from trained organizers proved effective in overcoming them. These findings confirm the importance of health education that emphasizes two-way communication and breast cancer prevention.

Abstract

Minat beli mencerminkan tingkat kepercayaan konsumen ketika memutuskan untuk membeli produk tersebut. Tingginya minat beli tentu saja akan membawa dampak positif bagi perusahaan. Salah satu cara baru untuk meningkatkan minat beli adalah dengan beauty vlogger. Beauty vlogger diyakini dapat membantu perusahaan untuk mengenalkan produk dengan cara yang lebih menarik. Salah satu produk kosmetik yang menggunakan jasa beauty vlogger adalah Emina. Peneliti tertarik untuk melakukan penelitian yang bertujuan mengetahui pengaruh beauty vlogger terhadap minat beli kepada konsumen Emina. Bentuk penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan asosiatif. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah seluruh konsumen yang pernah membeli dan menggunakan produk Emina di Plaza Medan Fair. Pengambilan sampel pada penelitian ini menggunakan metode purposive sampling dengan jumlah responden sebanyak 100 responden. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menyebarkan kuesioner secara online melalui google form dan data sekunder yaitu buku, jurnal, skripsi dan internet. Hasil penelitian ini menggunakan uji signifikan parsial (uji t) menunjukkan bahwa beauty vlogger berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap minat beli. Berdasarkan perhitungan dengan koefisien determinasi diperoleh nilai R 72,3%, Sedangkan 27,7 dipengaruhi oleh faktor diluar penelitian ini. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa variabel Beauty Vlogger secara parsial mempengaruhi minat beli.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of transactional leadership, work motivation and employee engagement on employee job satisfaction. The influence of transactional leadership, work motivation and employee engagement will be analyzed partially and simultaneously on employee job satisfaction. The form of research used in this research is quantitative research with an associative approach. Sampling was carried out using a saturated sampling technique with 33 respondents as samples. Primary data used in this research was obtained by distributing questionnaires directly, while secondary data was obtained through literature study. The data analysis methods used are validity test, reliability test, classical assumption test, multiple linear regression test, and hypothesis test. The results of the research conducted show that the variables transactional leadership (X1), work motivation (X2) and employee engagement (X3) have a significant effect on employee job satisfaction and all independent variables simultaneously (simultaneously) influence employee performance.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of leadership style and organizational culture on the performance of PT. Suri Tani Pemuka Simalungun Regency. This research uses associative research methods with a quantitative approach. The study population consisted of 752 people, and 88 people were taken as a sample by using purposive sampling techniques. In this study, the data used was primary data obtained from the distribution of questionnaires through Google Form, and secondary data obtained through books, journals, and articles related to this study. The data analysis methods used are validity test, reliability, classical assumption test, multiple linear analysis test, simultaneous test, and determination coefficient test. The findings revealed that leadership style partially has a significant effect on the performance of PT. Suri Tani Pemuka of Simalungun Regency. Meanwhile, organizational culture does not affect the performance of PT. Suri Tani Pemuka of Simalungun Regency. Simultaneously, leadership style and organizational culture have a significant effect on the performance of PT. Suri Tani Pemuka Simalungun Regency 92.7%, while 7.3% was influenced by other factors beyond the study.

Abstract

This study aims to determine how compensation, work environment, and work discipline influence employee performance at PT. Bank Sumut in Sipirok Branch Office. This research uses quantitative research methods with an associative approach. The population in this study were employees of PT. Bank Sumut in Sipirok Branch Office which has a total of 20 people. Sample collection technique with census sampling model / total sampling, the number of samples was 20 respondents. Data collection method questionnaire method measured using a likert scale. The analytical methods used in this study are instrument test, classical assumption test, multiple linear regression analysis and hypothesis test using SPSS. The results showed that the compensation variable had a positive and significant effect on employee performance as evidenced by tstatistic of 3,606 > 1,74588 with a significance level of 0,000 < 0,05. The work environment has a positive effect on employee performance as evidenced by tstatistic of 4.029 > 1.74588 with a significance level of 0,001 < 0,05. Work discipline has a positive and significant effect as evidenced by a fstatistic value of 4,416 > 1,74588 with a significance level of 0,000 < 0,05. Compensation, work environment, and work discipline together have a positive and significant effect on employee performance as evidenced by the results of the simultaneous significance test Fstatistic of 40,477 > Ftable 3,239. In the calculation of the coefficient of determination, a result of 0,884 was obtained, which means that the independent variable affects the dependent variable by 88,4%. The remaining 11,6% was explained by other unknown variables in the study.

Abstract

Globalisasi meningkatkan transparansi dan persaingan di industri fashion. Fenomena "Fashion statement" menunjukkan kebebasan individu dalam berpakaian. Kota Medan memiliki potensi sebagai pasar fashion dan dapat memengaruhi keputusan pembelian konsumen. Erigo, salah satu merek lokal yang berusaha menarik minat konsumen di Indonesia. Namun, perusahaan ini masih perlu meningkatkan Ethnocentrism, brand image dan lifestyle untuk menjangkau konsumen di Kota Medan agar melakukan buying decision. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh Ethnocentrism, Brand image dan LifeStyle terhadap Buying Decision pada Customer Erigo Kota Medan. Pengaruh Ethnocentrism, Brand image dan LifeStyle akan dianalisis secara parsial dan simultan terhadap buying decision. Bentuk penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan pendekatan asosiatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah konsumen Erigo di Kota Medan, dengan sampel yang berjumlah 96 responden, dengan teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling. Data primer diperoleh melalui penyebaran kuesioner secara langsung dan data sekunder diperoleh melalui studi kepustakaan. Metode analisis data yang digunakan adalah uji instrumen, uji asumsi klasik, analisis regresi linear berganda, dan uji hipotesis. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Ethnocentrism berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap variabel Buying Decision, nilai t-hitung sebesar 2,671 > 1,986 dengan tingkat signifikansi 0,009 < 0,05 serta memiliki nilai koefisien regresi yang bernilai 0,460. Brand image berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap variabel Buying Decision diperoleh nilai t-hitung sebesar 4,955 > 1,986 dengan tingkat signifikansi 0,000 < 0,05 serta memiliki nilai koefisien regresi yang bernilai 0,739. Lifestyle berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap variabel Buying Decision diperoleh nilai t-hitung sebesar 2,703 > 1,986 dengan tingkat signifikansi 0,008 < 0,05 serta memiliki nilai koefisien regresi yang bernilai 0,411. Pada pengujian simultan variabel Ethnocentrism, Brand image dan Lifestyle berpengaruh secara simultan sebesar 41,7% sedangkan 58,3% sisanya dipengaruhi oleh faktor-faktor di luar model penelitian ini.

Abstract

Kemajuan perusahaan AUTO 2000 tersebut juga tidak akan lepas dari keberadaan serta pengaruh sumber daya manusia (SDM) yang ada di dalamnya. Untuk mewujudkan SDM yang unggul maka diperlukan kinerja karyawan sebagai tolak ukurnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh stres kerja, perilaku cyberloafing, dan pengawasan terhadap kinerja karyawan pada Auto 2000 Medan Marelan. pengaruh stres kerja, perilaku cyberloafing, dan pengawasan tersebut akan dianalisis secara parsial dan simultan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan 50 karyawan sebagai sampel penelitian, dengan teknik pengambilan sampel yaitu sampel jenuh. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui kuesioner dengan menggunakan skala likert yang disebarkan kepada responden secara langsung di Auto 2000 Medan Marelan, sedangkan data sekunder diperoleh dari studi kepustakaan. Metode analisis data menggunakan uji validitas, uji reliabilitas, uji asumsi klasik, analisis liner berganda, dan uji hipotesis dengan bantuan SPSS. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukan bahwa variabel stres kerja berpengaruh terhadap kinerja karyawan, diperoleh nilai t hitung sebesar 2,846 2,01290 dengan signifikansi 0.007 0,025. Cyberloafing secara parsial tidak berpengaruh terhadap kinerja karyawan, diperoleh t hitung sebesar 0,503 2,01290 dengan signifikansi 0.617 0,025. Pengawasan diperoleh t hitung sebesar 2,590 2,01290 dengan signifikansi 0.013 0,025. Variabel stres kerja, cyberloafing, dan pengawasan secara simultan dan signifikan berpengaruh terhadap kinerja karyawan, diperoleh f hitung 4.403 2,81 dan signifikansi dari f hitung sebesar 0,008 0,05 dan koefisien determinasi sebesar 17,2% sedangkan sisanya 82,8% dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain yang tidak termasuk dalam variabel penelitian.
