Abstract

There is a threat of scarcity of fossil fuels, especially diesel fuel, which are non-renewable. Biodiesel30 fuel with 30% of its ingredients is vegetable oil and 70% fossil can be an alternative but in the distribution process it has started gradually since it was decided to replace pure diesel in 2019. Its existence is still questionable whether it is capable both in terms of quality and price to replace pure diesel especially biodiesel consumers30 PT. Pertamina working area of Medan sandpaper sub-district. This study aims to analyze the effect of product quality and price simultaneously on consumer purchasing decisions for B30 fuel at PT. Pertamina working area of Medan Amplas District. The form of research used in this research is quantitative research with an associative approach. The results of this study indicate that product quality variables (X1) and variables (X2) affect employee performance. The adjusted R square value indicates that the product quality and price variables contribute 39.3% to the purchasing decision variable. The conclusion in this study is that the product quality variable (X1) influences purchasing decisions, price (X2) influences purchasing decisions, and product quality variables (X1) and price (X2) simultaneously influence purchasing decisions.

Abstract

Pegawai memiliki peran yang penting dalam keberlangsungan di setiap perusahaan. Namun tidak terjadinya Work Life Balance dan Work Environment yang baik akan membuat setiap pegawai merasa tertekan dan membuat setiap pegawai merasa tidak nyaman dalam bekerja dan hal tersebut akan membuat pegawai ingin melakukan Turnover Intention. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengaruh Work Life Balance terhadap Turnover Intention pada pegawai di Bank Sumut Pusat. Mengetahui pengaruh Work Environment terhadap Turnover Intention pada pegawai di Bank Sumut Pusat dan untuk menganalisis pengaruh Work Life Balance dan Work Environment terdapat Turnover Intention pada pegawai di Bank Sumut Pusat. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif. Populasi pada penelitian ini yaitu pegawai di Bank Sumut Pusat. Sampel yang diambil dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 31 orang pada Divisi Sumber Daya Manusia. Teknik pengambilan sampel pada penelitian ini adalah sampel yang diukur dengan menggunakan skala Likert. Metode analisis data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu Uji Validitas, Uji Reliabilitas, Uji Asumsi Klasik, Analisis Linear Berganda, serta Uji Hipotesis dengan menggunakan SPSS. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bawa Work Life Balance dan Work Environment berpengaruh terhadap Turnover Intention nilai koefisien determinasi menunjukan bawa Work Life Balance (X1) dan Work Environment (X2) terhadap Turnover Intention (Y) sebesar 41,5%, sedangkan sisanya 58,5% adalah kontribusi atau faktor lain yang tidak termasuk di dalam penelitian ini. Hasil penelitian diatas berarti variabel Work Life Balance (X1) dan Work Environment (X2) mampu mempengaruhi Turnover Intention (Y).

Abstract

Salah satu pelaku usaha di bidang industri kuliner yaitu cafe yang sedang berkembang di kota Medan yaitu Ruang Sarca. Selama ini Ruang Sarca memiliki citra merek yang sudah kuat yaitu melalui pembangunan citra harga yang terjangkau, kualitas produk dan kualitas pelayanan yang mumpuni. Namun terjadi permasalahan terkait turunnya hasil penjualan disebabkan oleh menurunnya daya beli konsumen atau tingkat keputusan pembelian konsumen pada cafe Ruang Sarca yang terus mengalami penurunan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh harga, kualitas produk, dan kualitas pelayanan terhadap keputusan pembelian pada cafe Ruang Sarca. Pengaruh antara harga, kualitas produk, dan kualitas pelayanan akan dianalisis secara parsial dan simultan terhadap keputusan pembelian. Bentuk penelitian ini yaitu penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan asosiatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah konsumen pada cafe Ruang Sarca. Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah non-probability sampling dengan purposive sampling dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 96 responden. Teknik pengumpulan data yang dilakukan dengan data primer yang diperoleh melalui penyebaran kuesioner secara langsung dan data sekunder yang diperoleh melalui studi kepustakaan. Teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah uji validitas, uji reliabilitas, uji normalitas, uji multikolinearitas, uji heteroskedastisitas, regresi linear berganda, uji parsial, uji simultan dan uji koefisien determinasi yang diolah melalui software SPSS. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa variabel harga, kualitas produk, dan kualitas pelayanan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan baik secara parsial maupun simultan terhadap keputusan pembelian. Nilai koefisien korelasi (R) sebesar 0,951, dimana hal ini berarti terdapat hubungan antara variabel Harga (X1), Kualitas Produk (X2), dan Kualitas Pelayanan (X3) terhadap Keputusan Pembelian (Y) sebesar 95,1% sehingga hubungan antar variabel tersebut dapat dikategorikan sangat erat. Sedangkan nilai Adjusted R Square sebesar 0,902 ataupun nilai koefisien determinan menampilkan bahwa variabel Harga (X1), Kualitas Produk (X2), dan Kualitas Pelayanan (X3) terhadap Keputusan Pembelian (Y) sebesar 90,2%, sedangkan 9,8% sisanya dipengaruhi oleh faktor-faktor lain di luar model penelitian ini.

Abstract

Perkembangan dunia bisnis pada saat ini mengakibatkan persainganyang semakin ketat, berbagai upaya dilakukan para pelaku bisnis demi menjagadan mengembangkan keunggulan kompetitif dengan pesaingnya. Faktor yang dapat mempengaruhi keputusan pembelian konsumen adalah harga. Perbedaan harga diperlukan karena dari setiap bisnis pasti didapati produk yang serupa dengan harga yang bahkan sama. Faktor lain yang dapat mempengaruhi keputusan pembelian adalah suasana toko (store atmosphere). Dapat digambarkan bahwa suasana toko sebagai perubahan terhadap perencanaan pembelian yang dapat menciptakan efek emosional tersendiri. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh harga dan store atmosphere terhadap keputusan pembelian pada Mie Gacoan Kota Medan. Pengaruh antara harga dan store atmosphere tersebut akan dianalisis secara parsial dan secara simultan terhadap keputusan pembelian. Bentuk penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan asosiatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah konsumen Mie Gacoan Medan sebanyak 100 orang. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan melalui teknik non-probability sampling dengan model sampel accidental sampling, jumlah responden sebanyak 100 responden. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu data primer yang diperoleh dengan menyebar kuesioner sedangkan data sekunder diperoleh melalui studi kepustakaan. Metode analisis data yang digunakan adalah uji validitas, uji reliabilitas, uji asumsi klasik, analisis regresi linear berganda, dan uji hipotesis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa variabel harga dan variabel store atmosphere berpengaruh secara parsial dan signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian. Berdasarkan uji koefisien determinasi terdapat hubungan yang sangat erat antara harga dan store atmosphere terhadap keputusan pembelian dengan nilai R sebesar 0,644. Melalui nilai adjusted R square terdapat kontribusi harga dan store atmopshere sebesar 64,4% terhadap Keputusan Pembelian. Sedangkan sisanya sebesar 35,6% dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain yang tidak dijelaskan dalam penelitian ini.

Abstract

The aim of this study is to examine how work stress and locus of control impact the performance of employees at PT Bank Tabungan Negara (Persero) Medan Branch Office. This research utilises a quantitative approach with an associative methodology. The target population includes 158 employees at the Medan branch office of the state savings bank. Sampling was conducted using probability sampling techniques and the slovin formula, resulting in a total of 61 respondents. Data was collected through primary sources such as observation, interviews, and questionnaires, while secondary data was obtained through a review of existing literature. The analytical methods used are validity testing, reliability testing, classical assumption testing, multiple linear analysis, and hypothesis testing the results of the research conducted show that the variables of work stress and locus of control have a partial and significant effect on employee performance. The work stress variable and locus of control have a simultaneous and significant effect on employee performance. The resulting coefficient value shows that the relationship between the work stress variable and locus of control on employee performance is very strong with an r value of 0.885 or 88.5%. The adjusted r square value also shows that work stress and locus of control variables can explain employee performance variables by 77.6% while the remaining 22.4% is influenced by other variables not explained in this research.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of customer rating, live streaming selling, and customer review on impulsive buying of The Originote skincare products on Shopee e-commerce by female students of public universities in Medan City. This research employs a quantitative method with an associative approach. The population of the study consists of female students from public universities in Medan City. Primary data were collected through questionnaires. Data analysis techniques include validity test, reliability test, classical assumption test, multiple linear regression analysis, and hypothesis testing. The results indicate that customer rating, live streaming selling, and customer review have a significant influence, both partially and simultaneously, on impulsive buying. The coefficient of determination test shows a very strong relationship between customer rating, live streaming selling, and customer review with impulsive buying, with an R value of 0.804. These findings highlight the importance of marketing strategies that leverage rating quality, direct interaction through live streaming, and persuasive customer reviews to stimulate impulsive buying behavior.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of conformity consumption behavior and product attributes on the purchasing decisions of Generation Z in Medan City regarding Colorbox brand women's fashion apparel. This study uses a quantitative method with an associative approach. The population of this study consisted of 100 respondents determined through purposive sampling. Primary data were collected through a questionnaire. The analysis techniques used include validity testing, reliability testing, classical assumption testing, multiple linear regression analysis, and hypothesis testing. The results of the study indicate that the variables of conformity consumption behavior and product attributes have a significant influence, both partially and simultaneously, on purchasing decisions. The coefficient of determination test yielded an R value of 0.670, indicating a fairly strong relationship between conformity consumption behavior, product attributes, and purchasing decisions with an R value of 0.670. These findings suggest that social factors and product attributes are important determinants in shaping Generation Z's fashion purchasing decisions, particularly regarding the Colorbox brand.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of Fear of Missing Out and corporate image on stock investment decisions. The focus of the study is on Generation Z in Medan City who have experience in investing in stocks at least once in the last three years. The research method used was quantitative with an associative approach. Data were collected through online and offline questionnaires distributed to 100 respondents selected using purposive sampling techniques. Data analysis was performed using multiple linear regression to determine the simultaneous and partial effects between independent and dependent variables. The results show that Fear of Missing Out and company image have a positive and significant influence, both partially and simultaneously, on Generation Z's stock investment decisions in Medan. These findings indicate that psychological factors and perceptions of companies are important considerations in investment decision-making.

Abstract

Brand awareness is the extent to which consumers recognize and remember a brand. Teh Botol Sosro strives to increase brand awareness through Instagram social media content and frequent podcast advertising to reach consumers in Binjai City. However, complaints remain regarding a lack of consumer knowledge regarding these promotions. This study aims to analyze the influence of Instagram social media content and podcast advertising frequency on Teh Botol Sosro brand awareness, both partially and simultaneously. The method used is quantitative research with an associative approach. Primary data was obtained through questionnaires from 100 respondents using purposive sampling, while secondary data came from literature and previous research. Analysis was conducted using instrument testing, classical assumption testing, multiple linear regression, and regression model testing. The results indicate that Instagram social media content has a positive and significant effect on brand awareness, with a tvalue of 5.214 > 1.984, a significance level of 0.000 < 0.05, and a positive regression coefficient of 0.301. The frequency of podcast advertising also has a positive and significant effect on brand awareness, with a tvalue of 5.764 > 1.984, a significance of 0.000 < 0.05, and a positive regression coefficient of 0.453. Simultaneously, both variables have a significant effect on brand awareness with an Fvalue of 53.505 > 3.09 and a significance of 0.000 < 0.05. The magnitude of the influence is 52.5%, while the remaining 47.5% is influenced by other factors outside the study.

Abstract

Seis Cafe & Public Space in Medan City is a business that prioritizes innovation in both design and service. Work performance is an essential aspect in maintaining service quality. This performance is influenced by various factors, including leadership style, work motivation, and employee participation. The purpose of this research is to analyze the influence of leadership style, work motivation, and participation on work performance at Seis Cafe & Public Space in Medan City. This study employs a quantitative method with an associative approach. The research sample was taken using a total sampling technique consisting of 30 respondents. Primary data were obtained through questionnaires, while secondary data were collected through literature studies. Data analysis techniques included classical assumption testing, multiple linear regression analysis, and hypothesis testing. The results show that leadership style, work motivation, and participation have a positive and significant influence, both partially and simultaneously, on work performance. The coefficient of determination indicates a very strong relationship with an R value of 0.932, while the adjusted R square shows that the independent variables contribute 85.4% to employee performance, with the remaining 14.6% influenced by other factors outside this study.
