Abstract

This study investigates the influence of parenting styles and the STIFIn learning method on students' character education outcomes in Civics (PKn) classes at the fourth-grade level. The research employed a quantitative factorial experimental design (2x5) involving 30 students from SDIT Assuryaniyyah, Bekasi. The researchers categorized the sample based on parenting styles (democratic and permissive) and STIFIn personality types (Sensing, Thinking, Intuiting, Feeling, and Instinct). They collected the data through STIFIn tests, parenting style questionnaires, and final learning achievement scores. Using Two-Way ANOVA, the study found a significant main effect of parenting style on learning outcomes (F = 6.808, p = 0.017), with democratic parenting leading to higher scores (M = 89.13) than permissive parenting (M = 84.93). The main effect of the STIFIn type was also significant (F = 5.692, p = 0.003), with the highest scores among students with the Feeling type (M = 92.33). Moreover, a significant interaction was found between parenting style and STIFIn type (F = 3.596, p = 0.023), indicating that the effectiveness of parenting styles varies depending on students' personality types. These findings highlight the importance of aligning parenting approaches and personalized learning strategies based on student personality types to optimize character education outcomes.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kedisiplinan dan efikasi diri terhadap kemandirian belajar dalam implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka. Kemandirian belajar penting untuk meningkatkan keberhasilan, menyelesaikan berbagai tantangan, dan pencapaian tujuan pembelajaran. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan ex post facto. Populasi terdiri dari 333 siswa kelas V SDN se-Kapanewon Bambanglipuro, dengan sampel 172 siswa yang dipilih melalui proportional random sampling berdasarkan Tabel Isaac dan Michael. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan skala psikologi dan dianalisis dengan regresi linier berganda setelah uji prasyarat terpenuhi. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa kedisiplinan (sig. 0,00; t = 16,519) dan efikasi diri (sig. 0,00; t = 13,684) berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kemandirian belajar secara parsial, dengan kontribusi masing-masing sebesar 0,616 dan 0,524. Secara simultan, kedisiplinan dan efikasi diri berpengaruh signifikan (sig. 0,00; F = 169,536) dengan kontribusi sebesar 0,667. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan agar guru melakukan penguatan kedisiplinan dan efikasi diri siswa, khususnya melalui Projek Penguatan Profil Pelajar Pancasila.

Abstract

This studi was aimed at describing the learning process of writing expository texts in class VII C SMP Ekakapti Karangmojo Gunungkidul, through the use of the TTW learning method. and describing the results of writing an exposition text for class VII C SMP Ekakapti Karangmojo Gunungkidul using the TTW learning method. This research is a Classroom Action Research (CAR). The technique of analyzing the data is using quantitative and qualitative techniques. Based on the results of the study, the conclusions that can be drawn are as follows. First, their exposition text writing skills have improved after using the TTW learning method. The improvement in writing exposition text skills was known from the pre-cycle, first cycle, and second cycle tests. The average score of their pre-cycle was 58.67. This result belongs to the poor category. Furthermore, for the average score in the first cycle the result was 75.63 so that it can be said to have increased and is included in the good category. Thus, there was an increase of 16.96% from the pre-cycle. In the second cycle, the average score achieved was 82.61. This result is included in the good category as well. Thus, there was an increase from the first cycle of 6.98% and 23.94% of the pre-cycle results. Second, learning to write Exposition texts through the TTW learning method has been proven to be able to change students' negative attitudes and behaviors into positive ones. These changes can make students who are less enthusiastic and less active become more alert, excited, happy, and able to enjoy learning. Students become more active in thinking (think), actively discussing (talk), and more actively writing exposition texts (write).
