Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui status kepemilikan tambak yang berada di kawasan Suaka Margasatwa Kuala Lupak agar masyarakat tetap dapat mengelola tambak yang sudah ada lebih dulu sebelum ada penetapan Suaka Margasatwa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian normatif, yaitu penelitian hukum yang dilakukan dengan cara meneliti dan menggunakan bahan hukum kepustakaan. Tipe Penelitian menggunakan sinkronisasi dari peraturan perundang-undangan yang mengatur tentang lahan tambak yang berada di wilayah marga satwa. Penelusuran bahan hukum dilakukan dengan membaca, melihat, mendengarkan, maupun melalui penelusuran menggunakan media internet yang disusun berdasarkan pokok permasalahan dalam penelitian hukum ini. Berdasarkan hasil dari penelitian ini: Pertama, para pemegang hak lahan atas tambak yang berada dalam kawasan kawasan marga satwa, dari sisi hukum agraria telah dijamin haknya serta mendapatkan perlindungan hukum yang diatur dalam ketentuan peraturan perundang – undangan tentang kawasan konservasi suaka alam. Kedua, Penetapan kawasan hutan di atas lahan tambak setelah status kawasan berubah menjadi hutan lindung tidak serta merta menghilangkan hak kepemilikan lahan tambak. Sertifikat yang dipegang oleh masyarakat memberikan kedudukan hukum sebagai alat pembuktian agar lahan tambaknya dapat dikeluarkan dari kawasan suaka margasatwa.

Abstract

Di masa dimana kebutuhan dan hasrat manusia semakin besar, masyarakat mulai melakukan berbagai cara untuk mendapatkan uang, salah satunya dengan melakukan pinjaman online. Pinjaman online adalah sebuah jasa pinjaman uang yang diadakan melalui media elektronik oleh berbagai penyedia jasa. Oleh sebab sulitnya persyaratan melakukan pinjaman kepada bank, maka masyarakat mulai banyak berpindah untuk menggunakan jasa pinjaman online, di sisi lain meskipun pinjaman online dianggap lebih mudah, masih banyak yang mengalami kredit macet, hal ini turut dialami oleh masyarakat Kecamatan Alalak Utara. Peneliti melakukan penelitian terhadap perilaku kredit macet masyarakat Alalak Utara, dengan menggunakan metode penelitian empiris dengan lima orang informan. Peneliti melakukan penelitian terhadap pengetahuan masyarakat terhadap pinjaman online itu sendiri, penyebab dari penggunaan jasa pinjaman online, faktor-faktor penyebab terjadinya kredit macet dan dampak yang dialami masyarakat sebab terjadinya kredit macet. Berdasarkan penelitian ini, didapatkan hasil bahwa masyarakat mengetahui jelas apa dan apa saja jasa pinjaman online, bahwa informan menggunakan jasa pinjaman online dikarenakan kebutuhan primer maupun karena hasrat pribadi, selanjutnya ditemukan juga bahwa masyarakat mengalami kredit macet disebabkan oleh besarnya bunga yang diberikan oleh jasa penyedia pinjaman online dan kurangnya pengelolaan keuangan, dan dampak yang diterima masyarakat dari terjadinya kredit macet adalah gangguan psikologis dari para penagih hutang dan sulitnya mereka mendapatkan pinjaman di masa mendatang.

Abstract

This research identifies market segments among university students based on media promotion usage. It examines the impact of media promotions on the choice of programs and institutions of open and distance university institutions. This study used a quantitative methodology, and the population studied consisted of all currently enrolled Universitas Terbuka students throughout Indonesia, with a total sample of 2,250 people. In this research, market segmentation has been carried out using the cluster method, which includes demographic, geographic, psychographic, and behavioral segments. The demographic segment that is assessed age and gender of students, recent graduates, and income; The geographic segment is mapped to the origin of the UT regional offices; the psychographic segment includes reasons for studying and choosing UT; and the behavioral segment from which information is first and most effective. This research implies that the results can be used as a reference in supporting higher education promotion. The Novelty of this study is that no other studies have compared the potential of promotional media as a marketing instrument for open and distance higher education.

Abstract

Promotional activities are essential to offer special programs so it would be more valuable for the community towards the university. Promotion is one of the determining factors for the success of a marketing program in universities. This study aimed to describe how open and distance institution carries out promotional activities. Therefore, it can be seen as a promotional activity that effectively increases the number of new students. The research methodology used was descriptive qualitative. The data collection technique was carried out by in-depth interviews. This research was conducted online and offline in regional offices of Mataram, Denpasar, Malang, Bandung, Semarang, Ambon, Manado, Makassar, Jakarta, Majene, and Lampung. This study evaluated promotional activities that can be used as input for further promotional activities. Socialization and promotion activities at open and distance institution affect the increase in the number of students, and several things, such as population, presence of competitors, and condition of the community, influence addition.

Abstract

The massive progress of technology has brought learning into a more practical, interesting, and fun scheme. The presence of virtual tour learning in education is still limited, yet if implemented in a course, such as English for Hotel and Tourism, it might be a new approach to achieving optimal learning experiences.  This study aims to explore attitudes and perceptions of users regarding the urgency of developing virtual tour learning content in the course of English for Hotel and Tourism. The study employs a convergent mixed approach by elaborating quantitative and qualitative simultaneously. A total of 69 respondents involved in this study were selected using a purposive sampling technique. The results show that the majority of the respondents considered it important to use virtual tour learning in this course. This perspective can be seen from their attitudes along with various psychological aspects that support the significance of developing such media. In addition, there are many factors that must be considered to get relevant media, including attractive and user-friendly features, providing significant benefits to respondents, and containing guidelines that are relevant to the English for Hotel and Tourism course.

Abstract

Kurungkambing Village, located in Mandalawangi District, Banten, has significant local potential that remains underutilized due to the lack of structured data and limited village planning capacity. The gap between local resource mapping and strategic planning poses a major challenge in achieving sustainable development. To address this issue, the Community Service Program (PkM) of Universitas Terbuka was designed to strengthen the capacity of village officials through training and mentoring in village potential mapping based on village planning worksheets. This approach follows four key stages: input, process, output, and impact, aimed at establishing a more systematic, data-driven, and sustainable village development plan. The PkM activities include field surveys, socialization, technical training, mentoring, and monitoring and evaluation. The primary objective of this program is to develop a village potential database as a foundation for formulating more accurate policies and development strategies. Village officials can create more effective and strategic data-driven policies with this database. The program's sustainability requires synergy between academics, local government, and the village community to ensure data-driven development that enhances community welfare.Keywords: database, planning capacity, strategic planning, sustainable development, village potential. Abstrak: Desa Kurungkambing, Kecamatan Mandalawangi, Banten, memiliki potensi lokal yang belum optimal karena keterbatasan data terstruktur dan kapasitas perencanaan desa. Untuk mengatasi permasalahan ini, Program Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PkM) Universitas Terbuka dirancang untuk memperkuat kapasitas aparatur desa melalui pelatihan dan pendampingan dalam pemetaan potensi desa berbasis lembar perencanaan desa. Pendekatan ini mengacu pada empat alur utama: masukan, proses, hasil, dan dampak, yang bertujuan untuk mewujudkan perencanaan pembangunan desa yang lebih sistematis, berbasis data, dan berkelanjutan. Kegiatan PkM ini melibatkan serangkaian tahapan, termasuk survei lapangan, sosialisasi, pelatihan teknis, pendampingan, serta monitoring dan evaluasi. Tujuan utama program ini adalah mengembangkan database potensi desa sebagai dasar dalam penyusunan kebijakan dan strategi pembangunan yang lebih akurat. Dengan adanya database ini, aparatur desa dapat merumuskan kebijakan berbasis data yang lebih efektif dan strategis. Keberlanjutan program membutuhkan sinergi antara akademisi, pemerintah daerah, dan masyarakat desa guna memastikan pembangunan berbasis data yang berorientasi pada kesejahteraan masyarakat.Kata kunci: database, kapasitas perencanaan, perencanaan strategis, pembangunan  berkelanjutan, dan potensi desa.

Abstract

In the field of tourism, English serves as a global language of communication between tour guides and international tourists, as well as in relation to tourist attractions, culture, history, food, beverages, accommodations, transportation, souvenirs, services, and many other aspects. The needs analysis/assessment requires the synchronization of the demand (tourism users) and supply (English for tourism). In the Indonesian context, there has been an increasing market demand from the tourism sector for higher education institutions to provide their best graduates with relevant and aligned skills. This study investigates the industry's needs for English in the context of hotel and tourism courses. The study employs a mixed-methods approach, using both quantitative data from surveys and qualitative data from interviews. The results indicate that ten out of twelve topics in the English for Hotel and Tourism book of the English Education program at Universitas Terbuka are relevant to the respondents' occupations/industries. However, two topics were deemed by most respondents to be irrelevant to their jobs. For improvement, this study recommends that these two irrelevant topics be altered or modified.

Abstract

This study examines the impact of the Integrated ASN (State Civil Apparatus) Management System, SIMASTER (Integrated ASN Management Information System), on the discipline and performance of civil servants in the Regional Government of Bungo Regency, Indonesia. Using a quantitative survey, data were collected from 98 respondents out of a population of 4000 civil servants and analyzed with simple linear regression (SPSS 22). The results show that SIMASTER has a significant impact on discipline (R² = 0.685) and performance (R² = 0.502), while discipline itself has a strong influence on performance (R² = 0.726). Simultaneously, SIMASTER contributed 33% to improvements in both discipline and performance, with the remaining 67% attributed to other factors, including motivation, leadership, and organizational culture. These findings highlight that work discipline is the most dominant factor in shaping civil servant performance. The study concludes that SIMASTER plays a crucial role in promoting accountability and professionalism among civil servants; however, its effectiveness requires reinforcement through training, digital literacy support, and integration with performance-based reward systems.

Abstract

Persaingan perguruan tinggi di Indonesia sejak pandemi covid-19 dalam memperebutkan mahasiswa cukup berat karena semua kampus menyelenggarakan pendidikan jarak jauh. Melalui media pemasaran, konsumen akan lebih mudah mencari referensi sehingga tim marketing perlu mengetahui media pemasaran yang sering digunakan oleh konsumen sehingga dapat memformulasikan strategi komunikasi pemasaran untuk meningkatkan jumlah mahasiswa di PTJJ. Untuk membuat strategi pemasaran yang tepat sasaran, diperlukan suatu penelitian untuk mengoptimalisasi strategi pemasaran PTJJ agar lebih diterima oleh konsumen. Oleh karena itu, perlu untuk mengidentifikasi preferensi dan perilaku pemanfaatan media komunikasi mahasiswa PTJJ dalam rangka merancang strategi promosi efektif dan tepat sasatan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dan kualitatif (mix method). Subjek penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa UT se-Indonesia dari 39 unit layanan yang tersebar dari Banda Aceh dan Jayapura. Melalui penelitian ini didapatkan hasil mayoritas mahasiswa PTJJ menggunakan media digital, terutama media sosial sebagai media yang paling sering untuk mengakses informasi. Media sosial bisa dijadikan media efektif dalam brand awareness masyarakat agar mengetahui tentang PTJJ, sedangkan media-media lainnya, seperti televisi, radio, surat kabar, billboard dan videotron pada dasarnya masih cukup efektif, tetapi tujuannya lebih ke arah brand recalling.

Abstract

Social media marketing presents its prospects to engage in direct communication with customers, increase brand recognition, increase customer loyalty, and increase sales. Social media platforms offer a wide array of data and analytics that can help brands understand user behavior, tendencies, and needs. Social media allows students to access a wide range of social networking sites at less cost (time and effort) to develop and maintain existing relationships. The practice of social channels of student takeovers is becoming more popular and has increased by 11% since 2017. The purpose of this study was to analyze the activity and content in Instagram social media managed by Universitas Terbuka regional offices located on Sulawesi Island. Socialbakers' professional social media analytics tool is used to monitor the social media activity of selected Instagram accounts and collect data for analysis. The data analyzed includes the content of the selected post and user interaction with the post. Among all Instagram accounts owned by UT in Sulawesi, Makassar has the highest number of followers and vice versa UT Gorontalo has the lowest number of followers, the highest engagement rate is achieved by UT Kendari with an engagement rate of  3.61%.  UT Gorontalo creates interactive content on their Instagram page by doing regular Instagram live to interact with their audience, thus allowing the audience to ask questions directly to the host. The landing page was created specifically to receive traffic from campaigns among all UT Sulawesi only UT Majene has attractive images on their landing page
