Abstract

Background: Anxiety is a feeling of worry, discomfort, uncertainty, or fear that arises from real or perceived events. It is often characterized by vague fears, accompanied by feelings of helplessness, isolation, and insecurity. Anxiety is a common mental health problem that can affect anyone, including their superiors. Anxiety experienced by revenge can stem from various events and experiences that occur during the isolated period. Several factors contribute to the development of anxiety disorders, including compensation, including age, length of sentence, time remaining before custody, and level of family and social support from the community. Purpose: To determine the effect of spiritual emotional freedom technique (SEFT) on anxiety scores of prisoners. Method: Quantitative research with pre-experimental design using one-group pretest-posttest methodology. This study was conducted on prisoners at Class IIB Purbalingga Penitentiary who had served more than four years. The sampling method used total sampling because the population was less than 100. The total number of participants in this study was 42 prisoners. This study used the Zung Self Anxiety Rating Scale (ZSAS), a questionnaire to measure anxiety. Results: The anxiety scores of the participants were at a mild level of 35.7%, a moderate level of 47.6%, and a severe level of 16.7%. The results of the analysis showed that there was a significant difference in anxiety scores from SEFT therapy in participants before and after the intervention with a p value of 0.001 ≤ ɑ (0.05) which indicated a decrease in anxiety scores before and after the intervention. Conclusion: There was an effect before and after the SEFT intervention with a p value = 0.001 and there was a difference in the decrease in score of 29.6 which shows that SEFT had an effect in reducing participants' anxiety scores.   Keywords: Anxiety; Prisoners; Spiritual Emotional Freedom Technique (SEFT).   Pendahuluan: Kecemasan adalah perasaan khawatir, tidak nyaman, tidak pasti, atau takut yang muncul dari peristiwa nyata atau yang dipersepsikan. Sering kali ditandai dengan ketakutan yang samar, disertai perasaan tidak berdaya, terasing, dan tidak aman. Kecemasan merupakan masalah kesehatan mental yang umum dan dapat memengaruhi siapa saja, termasuk narapidana. Kecemasan yang dialami oleh narapidana dapat berasal dari berbagai peristiwa dan pengalaman yang dihadapi selama masa penahanan. Tujuan: Untuk mengetahui pengaruh spiritual emotional freedom technique (SEFT) terhadap skor kecemasan narapidana. Metode: Penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain pra-eksperimental menggunakan metodologi one-group pretest-posttest. Studi ini berkaitan dengan narapidana di Lembaga Pemasyarakatan Kelas IIB Purbalingga yang telah menyelesaikan lebih dari empat tahun masa hukuman. Metode pengambilan sampel menggunakan total sampling karena ukuran populasi kurang dari 100. Jumlah total partisipan dalam penelitian ini adalah 42 narapidana. Studi ini menggunakan Zung Self Anxiety Rating Scale (ZSAS) yaitu kuesioner untuk mengukur kecemasan. Hasil: Skor kecemasan partisipan berada dalam tingkat ringan sebanyak 35.7%, tingkat sedang 47.6%, dan berat 16.7%. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa ada perbedaan skor kecemasan yang signifikan dari terapi SEFT terhadap partisipan sebelum dan sesudah intervensi dengan p value 0.001 ≤ ɑ (0.05), menunjukkan terdapat penurunan skor kecemasan sebelum dan sesudah intervensi. Simpulan: Terdapat pengaruh sebelum dan setelah dilakukan intervensi SEFT dengan p value = 0.001, dan terdapat selisih penurunan skor sebanyak 29.6, menunjukkan bahwa SEFT berpengaruh dalam menurunkan skor kecemasan partisipan.   Kata Kunci: Kecemasan; Narapidana; Spiritual Emotional Freedom Technique (SEFT).

Abstract

Background: Mental health issues encompass a range of challenges, such as schizophrenia disorders that are often associated with decreased self-esteem in individuals. Patients with schizophrenia who have low self-esteem exhibit poor self-perception, feelings of worthlessness, and lack of self-confidence. Occupational therapy, as an effective non-pharmacological intervention, can improve self-esteem through targeted activities. Purpose: To assess the effect of hydroponic occupational therapy intervention on the level of self-esteem of beneficiaries in a social rehabilitation unit for ex-psychotics. Method: Pre-experimental one group pretest-posttest design, conducted on beneficiaries who experience low self-esteem at the Social Rehabilitation Unit for Ex-Psychotics "Martani" Cilacap. The sample was selected by total sampling and the instrument used was the Rosenberg Self-Esteem Scale. The data were tested for normality using Shapiro Wilk, after the normality test was normally distributed, then using the paired sample t-test. Results: The low self-esteem score before the intervention was 28.82 and after the intervention increased to 30.00. The normality test obtained a score before the intervention p-value of 0.105 and after the intervention it became 0.093. This figure shows that the data is normally distributed (> 0.05), meaning that there is an effect of occupational therapy intervention on the level of low self-esteem. Conclusion: Agricultural hydroponic occupational therapy intervention can increase the self-esteem score of patients with mental disorders. Hydroponic occupational therapy can help patients with mental disorders who have low self-esteem.   Keywords: Hydroponics; Low Self-Esteem; Occupational Therapy.   Pendahuluan: Masalah kesehatan mental mencakup berbagai tantangan, seperti gangguan skizofrenia yang sering dikaitkan dengan penurunan harga diri pada individu. Pasien dengan skizofrenia yang memiliki harga diri rendah menunjukkan persepsi diri yang buruk, perasaan tidak berharga, dan kurangnya rasa percaya diri. Terapi okupasi sebagai intervensi non-farmakologis dapat meningkatkan harga diri melalui aktivitas yang terarah. Tujuan: Untuk menilai pengaruh intervensi terapi okupasi hidroponik terhadap tingkat harga diri penerima manfaat di unit rehabilitasi sosial eks psikotik. Metode: Desain pre-experimental one group pretest-posttest, dilakukan kepada penerima manfaat yang mengalami harga diri rendah di Unit Rehabilitasi Sosial Eks Psikotik “Martani” Cilacap. Sampel dipilih secara total sampling dan instrumen yang digunakan adalah Rosenberg Self-Esteem Scale. Data di uji normalitas menggunakan Shapiro Wilk, setelah uji normalitas berdistribusi normal, maka menggunakan paired sample t-test. Hasil: Skor harga diri rendah sebelum intervensi adalah 28.82 dan setelah intervensi meningkat menjadi 30.00. Uji normalitas didapatkan skor sebelum intervensi p-value 0.105 dan setelah intervensi menjadi 0.093. Angka tersebut menunjukkan bahwa data berdistribusi normal (>0.05), artinya terdapat pengaruh intervensi terapi okupasi terhadap tingkat harga diri rendah. Simpulan: Intervensi terapi okupasi hidroponik pertanian dapat meningkatkan skor harga diri pasien gangguan jiwa. Terapi okupasi hidroponik dapat membantu pasien gangguan jiwa yang memiliki harga diri rendah.   Kata Kunci: Harga Diri Rendah; Hidroponik; Terapi Okupasi.

Abstract

Latar Belakang: Orang gangguan jiwa sering dianggap berbahaya, tidak dapat diprediksi, rentan terhadap kekerasan, menakutkan dan berbagai stigma negative bagi sebagian besar mahasiswa keperawatan. Keyakinan dan pandangan yang dimiliki mahasiswa dapat menghalangi kemampuan mahasiswa keperawatan untuk memiliki empati dalam berinteraksi dan merawat pasien dengan penyakit mental di area klinis/RSJ. Kurangnya empati pada mahasiswa yang disebabkan oleh stigma negatif dapat diatasi dengan berbagai cara, salah satunya adalah dengan direct contact challenge. Direct contact challenge merupakan sebuah rangkaian program terdiri dari edukasi terkait gangguan jiwa, kemudian peserta diberikan tantangan untuk berinteraksi langsung dengan orang gangguan jiwa yang ada di jalanan (gelandangan psikotik) serta memenuhi kebutuhan dasarnya (memberi makan, minum, merawat kebersihan diri). Interaksi langsung dengan orang gangguan jiwa dapat meningkatkan empati dan menurunkan stigma negative mahasiswa. Tujuan: Untuk mengetahui pengaruh direct contact challenge terhadap stigma dan empati mahasiswa terhadap orang gangguan jiwa. Metode: Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode pre-eksperiment intact-group comparison. Populasinya adalah mahasiswa keperawatan s1 semester V. Sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 81 mahasiswa pada kelompok intervensi dan 81 pada kelompok kontrol, pengambilan sampel dengan simple random sampling. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji t berpasangan. Instrument yang digunakan menggunakan kuesioner Emphaty Toward the Mentally Ill Scale untuk mengukur empati mahasiswa terhadap orang gangguan jiwa dan kuesioner Community Attitudes Toward the Mentally Ill Scale (CAMI) Hasil : Rata-rata nilai stigma sebelum perlakuan pada kelompok intervensi adalah 96,4 dan pada control 92,3 skor Uji statistik menunjukkan nilai p=0.0001 pada skor stigma dan p=0.0001 pada empati, artinya terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan rata-rata skor stigma dab empati sebelum dan sesudah perlakuan antara kedua kelompok. Kesimpulan : Direct contact challenge dapat menurunkan stigma negative dan meningkatkan empati mahasiswa terhadap orang gangguan jiwa.

Abstract

Kepatuhan perawat dalam melaksanakan Standar Operasional Prosedur (SOP) konseling Voluntary Counseling and Testing (VCT) pada pasien suspek B20 (HIV/AIDS) sangat penting untuk deteksi dini dan penanganan yang tepat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi kepatuhan perawat dalam pelaksanaan SOP konseling VCT pada pasien suspek B20 di rawat inap RSUD Prof. Dr. Margono Soekarjo. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara mendalam terhadap 7 perawat konselor VCT di ruang rawat inap RSUD Prof. Dr. Margono Soekarjo. Analisis data menggunakan teknik Miles dan Hubermen. Hasil penelitian mengidentifikasi beberapa faktor yang mempengaruhi kepatuhan perawat dalam pelaksanaan SOP konseling VCT, yaitu: 1. Pengetahuan perawat tentang prosedur konseling VCT, 2. Tingkat pendidikan perawat, 3. Masa kerja. Kepatuhan perawat dalam pelaksanaan SOP konseling VCT dipengaruhi oleh berbagai faktor yang saling berkaitan. Peningkatan pengetahuan melalui pelatihan, penyediaan fasilitas yang memadai, dan dukungan manajemen merupakan aspek penting dalam meningkatkan kepatuhan perawat terhadap SOP konseling VCT.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh permainan kursi goyang terhadap tanda gejala dan kemampuan mengontrol halusinasi pada pasien. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Quasy Exsperimen with control group pre test and post test. Jumlah responden sebanyak 62 responden dengan menggunakan purposive sampling. Analisa data menggunakan uji Wilcoxon. Tanda gejala responden pada kelompok kelompok eksperimen pre test (7.26%) dan post test (3.13%), sedangkan pada kelompok kontrol pre test (6.87%) dan post test (8.10%). terjadi penurunan tanda gejala pada kelompok eksperimen sebesar (4.13%) dan terjadi kenaikan sebesar (1.23%) pada kelompok kontrol. Kemampuan mengontrol halusinasi pada kelompok eksperimen pre test (3.77%) dan post test (9.35%), sedangkan pada kelompok kontrol pre test (4.06%) dan post test (5.48%) peningkatan kemampuan mengontrol halusinasi pada kelompok eksperimen sebesar (5.75%) dan kelompok kontrol (1.42%). Nilai p value pada kelompok eksperimen 0.000 <0.05 dan kelompok kontrol 0.008 <0.05, sedangkan kemampuan mengontrol kelompok eksperimen 0.000 <0.05 dan kelompok kontrol 0.001 <0.05 yang berarti ada pengaruh permainan kursi goyang terhadap tanda gejala dan kemapuan mengontrol halusinasi pada pasien.

Abstract

Bullying remains a serious problem in elementary schools and has a negative impact on students’ psychological health as well as their social relationships. Low levels of knowledge and response toward this behavior contribute to its high incidence. This study targeted fifth- and sixth-grade students at MI Muhammadiyah Dukuhturi, Bumiayu, Brebes, because at this age social interactions become increasingly complex, heightening the risk of both perpetrating and experiencing bullying. Effective prevention requires engaging and easily understood education, one of which is health education delivered through animated video that conveys information interactively. This research employed a quantitative pre-experimental design with a one group pretest–posttest approach. The entire population of 40 students was included as the sample using a total sampling technique because the population size was relatively small and the researchers aimed to obtain a comprehensive picture without inaccuracy from selecting only part of the respondents. The research instrument consisted of a knowledge and attitude questionnaire, while the intervention was carried out by screening an educational animated video of approximately four minutes’ duration, presented once in a scheduled session during a single learning activity. Data analyzed with a paired t-test showed an increase in mean knowledge scores from 29.65 to 35.62 and in attitude scores from 57,97 to 89,05, both with p = 0,0001 (p 0,05). These findings confirm that health education using animated video is effective in improving students’ knowledge and fostering positive attitudes toward bullying, making it a suitable and interactive educational method for bullying prevention in elementary schools. In line with these findings, the purpose of this study was to determine the effect of health education using animated video media on students’ knowledge and attitudes about bullying at MI Muhammadiyah Dukuhturi, Bumiayu.

Abstract

Academic anxiety is a psychological problem often experienced by adolescents and negatively impacts achievement and mental health if not handled properly. Academic anxiety problems have a high prevalence. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the Peduli Akan Kesehatan Jiwa (PEKA JIWA) program on the knowledge, skills, and academic anxiety scores of adolescents at SMA Negeri 1 Patikraja, Banyumas. The research design used was a pre-experimental one-group pretest-posttest approach. A sample of 60 respondents was selected using a total sampling technique. The research instruments included a knowledge questionnaire developed by the researcher, an academic anxiety questionnaire adopted from Cassady (2019), and a coping skills observation sheet with interventions in the form of academic anxiety education and Butterfly Hug and Mindfulness exercises that had undergone feasibility testing. The results of the analysis using the Wilcoxon signed-rank test showed a significant increase in knowledge scores from an average of 9.86 to 11.60, Butterfly Hug skills from 2.61 to 4.96, and Mindfulness from 4.65 to 7.68, and academic anxiety scores from 30.40 to 25.28. The Wilcoxon test obtained a p value <0.000 (p <0.05). The PEKA JIWA program is effective in increasing knowledge and coping skills and reducing academic anxiety in adolescents.

Abstract

Self harm is a behaviour of harming oneself without the intention of suicide, commonly seen in adolescents as a form of emotional release.. Low levels of self acceptance are one of the factors contributing to this increase, as it tends to cause negative emotions. One intervention that can help increase self acceptance is a gratitude journal, which is an activity of writing down positive things to be grateful for every day. This study aims to determine the effect of gratitude journals on increasing self acceptance in adolescents wit self harming behaviour. The research design uses a pre-experimental pretest-posttest one group design with total sampling technique (N=29). The research instruments include the Self Harm Inventory (SHI) and Berger’s Self Acceptance Scale, while data analysis uses the Shapiro-Wilk test and Paired Sample T-Test. The result showed an increase in the average self acceptance score from 95,79 to 98,79, but this was not statistically significant (p=0,172). In conclusion, gratitude journal can increase self acceptance, but it does not show a significant effect, so further research with larger sample size and longer intervention duration ins needed.

Abstract

Caring attitudes form the core of nursing practice, fostering therapeutic relationships and enhancing care quality. Holistic nursing care encompasses patients' physical, psychological, social, and spiritual aspects. The research location was chosen because of the diverse characteristics of the patients. A preliminary study on July 7, 2025, using observation and interviews, found variations in patient perceptions of nurse caring, particularly in communication and emotional support. This study aimed to analyze the relationship between nurses' caring attitudes and the implementation of holistic nursing care among inpatients. It employed a quantitative cross-sectional design with purposive sampling (n=90 respondents based on inclusion criteria). Instruments: CBI-24 and HCQAS-P questionnaires (adapted without modification; validity 0.69–0.78 and 0.446-0.799, p<0.01). Data were analyzed using the Chi-square test (p<0.05). Most respondents were male (58.9%), aged 60 years (42.2%), elementary-educated (41.1%), and private sector workers (95.6%). Caring attitudes were rated high by 73.3%, and holistic nursing care implementation was good by 76.7%. A significant relationship was found (p=0.001). These findings align with prior studies, emphasizing the need for ongoing caring training and hospital policy support in regional hospitals.

Abstract

Divorce is a social phenomenon that has various impacts on cultural, economic, and psychological conditions around the world. Divorce not only has an impact on the husband and wife, but also has an impact on other families, especially on children. Divorce can increase the risk of mental health problems in children , one of which is loneliness. This study aimed to determine the the effect of Gestalt empty chair Therapy on loneliness scores experienced by UMP S1 Nursing students. This quantitative research used a pre-experimental design with one group pretest-posttest involving 50 subjects selected through purposive sampling. The level of loneliness was measured using the UCLA Loneliness Scale Version 3, and data were analyzed using IBM SPSS Statistics 27. Univariate analysis was used to describe the characteristics of subjekts, while bivariate analysis was conducted using the Paired Sample t-test to determine the difference of the intervention. The results showed that the average loneliness score before the intervention was 53,68 and decreased to 45,10 after the intervention. The paired sample t-test indicated a significant difference of Gestalt empty chair Therapy on reducing loneliness with a p-value of 0,001 (p-value < 0,05). In this study, gestalt empty chair therapy was effective in overcoming the feeling of loneliness of students who are victims of divorce. Through this technique, students were able to express pent-up emotions and resolve internal conflicts, thereby improving their emotional well-being.
