Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan dukungan sosial guru dengan minat belajar matematika pada siswa MTsN. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan subjek penelitian sebanyak 100 siswa Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri Samarinda yang dipilih melalui teknik purposive sampling. Metode yang digunakan untuk pengumpulan data adalah dengan skala dukungan sosial guru dan skala minat belajar. Sedangkan, teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah program Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS) versi 25.0 for windows. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan terdapat hubungan yang rendah secara positif antara dukungan sosial guru dengan minat belajar matematika. Hal ini dilihat dari hasil r hitung > r tabel = 0.256 > 0.197, dan p = 0.000 < 0.05, yang berarti bahwa hipotesis diterima. Artinya, terdapat hubungan yang rendah antara dukungan sosial guru dengan minat belajar matematika pada siswa Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri Samarinda.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi dengan fenomena kecemasan berbicara di depan umum pada remaja korban perundungan. Jenis penelitian yang dilakukan adalah kuantitatif, bermaksud mengidentifikasi hubungan antara dukungan sosial dan kecemasan berbicara di depan umum pada remaja korban perundungan. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari 100 remaja yang menjadi korban perundungan, yang berusia 15 hingga 17 tahun, yang diambil melalui teknik purposive sampling. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan model skala likert yaitu skala kecemasan berbicara di depan umum dan dukungan sosial. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan skala likert yang mencakup skala kecemasan berbicara di depan umum dan dukungan sosial. Analisis statistik memakai metode korelasi product moment. Hasil analisis menunjukkan nilai koedisien korelasi r = 0.524 dan p = 0.000 p < 0,05 (signifikan) artinya terdapat hubungan korelasi yang sedang antara dukungan sosial dan kecemasan berbicara di depan umum pada remaja korban perundungan.

Abstract

Abstract. The emergence of the Korean Wave, encompassing K-dramas and K-pop, has garnered significant interest, particularly among college students. This research investigates how excessive viewing and feelings of loneliness impact social interactions. Utilizing a quantitative research design, the study involved 83 students from the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences at X University, selected through probability sampling methods. Data collection methods included scales measuring parasocial interactions, excessive viewing habits, and loneliness levels. The analysis employed multiple linear regression techniques. Key findings indicate that: (1) excessive viewing and loneliness significantly affect parasocial interactions, with an F-value of 3.992 exceeding the F-table value of 3.18 and a p-value of 0.001, contributing an influence of 42.1% (R²); (2) excessive viewing positively correlates with parasocial interactions, shown by a beta coefficient (β) of 0.377, a t-value of 2.071 surpassing the t-table value of 2.008, and a p-value of 0.044 (p < 0.05); (3) however, loneliness does not significantly impact parasocial interactions, evidenced by a beta coefficient (β) of 0.156, a count of 0.156.859 falling below the t-table value of 2.008, and a p-value of 0.395 (p < 0.05). Keywords: Social interaction, excessive watching, loneliness. Abstrak. Perkembangan fenomena Korean Wave, yang mencakup K-Drama dan musik K-Pop, telah menarik perhatian yang luas, khususnya di kalangan mahasiswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi dampak dari menonton secara berlebihan dan perasaan kesepian terhadap interaksi parasosial. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kuantitatif. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari 83 mahasiswa Fakultas Ilmu Sosial dan Ilmu Politik Universitas X yang dipilih melalui teknik probability sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan skala untuk mengukur interaksi parasosial, tingkat menonton berlebihan, dan kesepian. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) terdapat pengaruh signifikan antara menonton berlebihan dan kesepian terhadap interaksi parasosial, dengan nilai F hitung sebesar 3.992 yang lebih besar dari F tabel 3.18 dan nilai p sebesar 0.001, serta kontribusi pengaruh (R²) mencapai 42.1%; (2) terdapat pengaruh positif yang signifikan dari menonton berlebihan terhadap interaksi parasosial dengan nilai koefisien beta (β) sebesar 0.377, t hitung 2.071 lebih besar dari t tabel 2.008, dan nilai p sebesar 0.044 (p < 0.05); (3) tidak ditemukan pengaruh signifikan dari kesepian terhadap interaksi parasosial dengan nilai koefisien beta (β) sebesar 0.156, t hitung 0.859 lebih kecil dari t tabel 2.008, dan nilai p sebesar 0.395 (p < 0.05).Kata Kunci: Interaksi parasosial, menonton berlebihan, kesepian.

Abstract

The advancement of internet technology and social media, particularly Instagram, has significantly impacted students' lives, with Fear of Missing Out (FoMO) and narcissism suspected as driving factors behind Instagram addiction. This research seeks to assess the impact of fear of missing out and narcissism on Instagram addiction among university students using a quantitative approach with multiple linear regression analysis. This research included 75 students from the Faculty of Cultural Sciences at Mulawarman University, recruited by purposive sampling. The used data gathering techniques included the instagram addiction scale, fear of missing out scale, and narcissism scale. The used data analysis method was multiple linear regression. The findings indicate that FoMO and narcissism significantly influence Instagram addiction, contributing 79.1% to the variance, with FoMO having a beta coefficient (β) of 0.372 and narcissism 0.555. Thus, FoMO and narcissism are significant factors driving Instagram addiction among students, negatively affecting their academic and social lives.

Abstract

The college environment is often characterized by the dominance of the role of students who must undergo various academic burdens. Continuous demands in lectures and the presence of piling assignments have a negative impact on subjective well-being in students. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the extent to which perceptions of support in the social environment and academic pressure can affect subjective well-being in students. This study was conducted using a quantitative approach. A total of 101 students of the Faculty of Law, Mulawarman University were used as research subjects who had been selected through a simple random sampling technique. The instruments used in data collection consisted of a subjective well-being scale, a social support perception scale, and an academic stress scale. The analysis was carried out by applying the multiple linear regression method. Based on the test results, it was indicated that the variables of social support and academic stress together had a significant effect on subjective well-being, with an F value of 37.194, an R² value of 0.432, and a p value of 0.000. This means that the influence of social support and academic stress on subjective well-being in students can be accepted statistically.

Abstract

The phenomenon that is rampant now is that k-pop fans feel satisfied with themselves when they get the idol merchandise they want from excessive shopping This study aims to determine the relationship between fear of missing out and impulsive buying in generation z kpop fans. This research uses a quantitative approach. The research subjects were 100 generation z kpop fans selected using non-probability sampling technique. The data analysis technique used is correlation. The collected data were analyzed with the help of the Statistical Package For Social Science (SPSS) version 25 for windows program. The results showed that there was a positive correlation between the fear of missing out variable and impulsive buying showing R count of 0.718> R table of 0.197 with a p value of 0.000 (p <0.05).

Abstract

Unemployment is a common and complex issue across various regions in Indonesia, where good work readiness before graduation plays a key role in addressing this challenge. The high unemployment rate in Indonesia is influenced by several factors, including individual work readiness. This study aims to investigate the impact of activeness in organization and self-efficacy on the work readiness of students from the Faculty of Engineering at University X, Samarinda. A quantitative approach was used, with participants being active members of the Engineering Student, selected through simple random sampling. Data were collected using scales to measure activeness in organization, self-efficacy, and work readiness. The results show that significant effect of activeness in organization and self-efficacy on work readiness. Activeness in organization significantly influences work readiness. Self-efficacy also contributes significantly to students' work readiness. In conclusion, high activeness in organization and self-efficacy play important roles in preparing students for entering the workforce. The novelty of this study lies in examining these two variables together, offering new insights into how students' activeness in organization and self-efficacy can strengthen their readiness to face the challenges of the job market after graduation. Future research could explore other variables that contribute to work readiness and assess the long-term benefits of activeness in organization and self-efficacy using a larger sample size.
