Abstract

The ability to think critically from student learning outcomes is one of the abilities that students need to have. This study aims to analyze and see the ability of students to understand material that has been taught in schools on inheritance material. This type of research is a type of quantitative research. The data collection technique used is the test instrument technique using questions made by linking to the material that has been taught. The research subject was students who had taken biology subjects in the inheritance sub-chapter with a sample number of students grade XI in one of the Aliyah Madrasah in Palangka Raya City for the 2022/2023 academic year. Analysis of the ability of the results of critical thinking skills is seen through the achievement of the final scores obtained by students. The results of the analysis of students' critical thinking skills show that less than 50% of students do not yet have the ability to think critically in understanding inheritance material. The ability to think critically about inheritance in students grade XI Aliyah Madrasah is still low, this is due to a lack of ability to analyze and conclude and decide actions related to inheritance. So an innovative model or media is needed to encourage material inheritance.

Abstract

Background The problem of education quality in Indonesia is a complex challenge that requires a multifaceted approach. By improving access and quality of education, increasing teacher professionalism, and developing a relevant curriculum, it is hoped that the quality of education in Indonesia can improve significantly. Purpose The purpose of writing this article is to analyze various problems that affect the quality of education in Indonesia in the era of the independent curriculum and identify potential solutions to overcome these problems. Design/method/approach The method used in this article is literature study. Results The results of this research explain that from various problems with the quality of education in the era of the independent curriculum, the government continues to strive to improve and improve the quality of education, unequal access and quality of education, improving teacher quality and professionalism, improving educational infrastructure and facilities so as to achieve the goal of national education to create the next generation. superior and integrated successor. Contribution/value To overcome this problem, the government needs to increase teacher training programs, especially in hard-to-reach areas, apart from that, there needs to be a larger budget allocation for improving educational facilities, and educational equality policies must be a priority.

Abstract

Background Student management plays a very crucial role in supporting the success of educational institutions in Indonesia. Effective management will create a conducive learning environment, strengthen character formation, and support the development of students' overall potential. Purpose The purpose of this study is to analyze educational conflict in Islamic boarding schools. The research methodology used is a literature review. Design/method/approach The research methodology used is a literature review. Results The research results show that student management that is structured and based on good management principles, such as planning, organizing and evaluating can strengthen the capacity of educational institutions to achieve their goals. In the context of Indonesian education, the role of student management is becoming increasingly important in line with social, cultural changes and the increasingly complex needs of the world of work. This article aims to examine how student management can support the quality of educational institutions, especially in improving the quality of the learning process and student welfare. Contribution/value This article also highlights the importance of collaboration between schools, parents and the community in carrying out effective student management, in order to create quality education that is relevant to the needs of the times.

Abstract

Mahasiswa IAIN Palangka Raya melaksanakan Kuliah Kerja Nyata di salah satu Desa yang ada di Barito Utara, Kalimantan Tengah. Desa yang tunjuk adalah Desa Rarawa, tujuan kami di desa tersebut adalah untuk menjalankan program kerja yang sudah rencanakan. Adapun masalah yang di angkat adalah kurangnya pemahaman anak-anak dalam membaca Al-Quran dan materi tata cara berwudhu. Oleh karena itulah peneliti mengadakan pengkaderan bagi anak-anak yang sudah lancar dalam membaca Al-Quran dan paham mengenai materi tata cara berwudhu. Tujuan pengkaderan tersebut adalah mewujudkan jiwa kepemimpinan bagi anak-anak dan memberikan luang bagi mereka untuk menunjukkan keahlian mereka dalam membaca Al-quran dan meteri mengenai tata cara berwudhu, selain itu juga pengkaderan ini salah satu bertujuan untuk tutor sebaya sekaligus membantu pengajar yang lain yaitu Bapak Ustadz Pargiansyah. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah ceramah, tanya jawab, dan demokrasi. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apa peran dan solusi yang dapat diberikan mahasiswa KKN agar jumlah anak-anak di Desa Rarawa yang membaca Al-quran masih tetap bertahan dan bertambah banyak. Dengan adanya pengkaderan bacaan Al-Quran ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan  kemampuan anak-anak di Desa Rarawa  dalam membaca Al-Qur’an dengan ilmu tajwid setelah beberapa kali bimbingan.

Abstract

Islam merupakan agama yang sempurna dan selalu relevan sampai akhir zaman. Dalam proses pendidikan, agama Islam telah memberikan tuntunan bagaimana melaksanakan proses pendidikan yang hendaknya dilaksanakan oleh umat Islam. Salah satu komponen pendidikan yang penting untuk diperhatikan adalah sarana dan prasarana. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji penerapan sarana dan prasarana pada sekolah dasar Islam berdasarkan tuntunan Rasulullah Muhammad SAW dengan metode kajian Pustaka. Penelitian ini menyoroti pentingnya pengelolaan fasilitas pendidikan yang berlandaskan nilai-nilai Islami dalam mendukung pembentukan karakter peserta didik. Sarana, seperti ruang kelas yang nyaman, mushola, dan buku-buku Islami, berfungsi mendukung pembelajaran berbasis akhlak mulia. Kebutuhan dasar pada peserta didik pada sekolah dasar Islam salah satunya adalah tumbuh kembang pada sisi fisik atau jasmani. Sementara itu, prasarana seperti taman sekolah, halaman, serta fasilitas olahraga seperti kolam renang, arena memanah, dan berkuda, tidak hanya mendorong perkembangan fisik anak, tetapi juga menjadi media praktik nilai-nilai Islami, seperti menjaga kebersihan dan kebersamaan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan sarana dan prasarana sesuai sunnah dapat menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang kondusif untuk menanamkan nilai-nilai Islam sejak usia dini, menjadikan sekolah dasar Islam sebagai tempat efektif dalam membangun generasi yang berkarakter Islami.

Abstract

Desa Malungai merupakan sebuah desa yang mayoritas masyarakatnya non-muslim dengan perbandingan 1:13. Hal ini membuat, masih kurangnya Sumber Daya Manusia khususnya dalam tenaga pendidik agama Islam. Bahkan, masjid ataupun mushola juga tidak tersedia di desa Malungai.Hal ini tentu menyebabkan anak-anak mengalami kesulitan dalam mempelajari dan mendalamiagama Islam khususnya dalam membaca Al-Qur’an. Apabila permasalahan tersebut diabaikanterus menerus, maka penduduk beragama muslim khususnya anak-anak muslim akan mengalamibuta huruf Al-Qur’an bahkan krisis identitas agama. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan pendampinganbimbingan ini dilakukan dengan tujuan memberikan pendampingan bimbingan belajar membaca Al-Qur’an dengan menerapkan metode iqro pada anak-anak di desa malungai. Metode yangdigunakan pada pendampingan bimbingan ini adalah metode pembinaan dan pelatihan. Teknikpengumpulan data dengan cara observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Subjek yang pengabdianini adalah anak-anak muslim desa Malungai sebanyak 5 orang beserta 2 mahasiswa KKN. DenganHasil dari pengabdian ini adalah adanya peningkatan pemahaman anak-anak dalam membacaAl-Qur’an dan meningkatkan motivasi anak-anak dalam belajar Al-Qur’an.

Abstract

Pandanus helicopus is one of the fibrous plants that is considered a nuisance so that its utilization is still lacking. Meanwhile, P. helicopus's fiber has the potential to be used in industry, especially in the manufacture of food brushes. The objective of this study is to identify the potential of P. helicopus's fiber, which is used as an alternative to non-food industrial materials, especially brushes that are halal toward the principle of creative economy. This study is experimental research by combining two methods, there are exploration and experiment laboratory. The results showed that P. helicopus leaf fibers have the characteristics of fibers that are quite fine, strong and elastic. Based on the laboratory tests, it was found that fibers became stronger and finer when given immersion treatment in NaOH solution with the most effective concentration of 7.5% with the test results of a fineness level of 2462.88 Tex, a tenacity value of 145.07 mN/Tex and 14.80 gf/Tex, and fiber elasticity of 19.56%. The characteristics of P. helicopus leaf fiber has the potential to be used as an alternative material in the industrial field, especially in the manufacture of halal plant fiber brushes. The utilization of P. helicopus's fiber in industry can be a creative innovation that can realize the principles of creative economy.

Abstract

Manusia adalah makhluk unik dengan kemampuan berpikir, merasakan, dan berinteraksi secara sosial yang membedakannya dari makhluk lain. Pendidikan merupakan sarana utama untuk mengembangkan potensi intelektual, emosional, dan sosial manusia, yang memungkinkan individu mencapai aktualisasi diri. Pendidikan diakui sebagai hak fundamental yang harus diakses oleh semua orang tanpa diskriminasi, seperti yang tercantum dalam Deklarasi Universal Hak Asasi Manusia. pendidikan dalam membentuk karakter dan moral manusia, serta mendukung terciptanya masyarakat yang adil dan inklusif. Pendidikan yang dinamis harus mampu beradaptasi dengan perubahan zaman untuk memenuhi kebutuhan manusia modern. Implikasi dari hubungan ini termasuk penguatan hak asasi manusia, pengurangan ketimpangan sosial, pembentukan karakter bangsa, dan kontribusi pada kemajuan teknologi dan inovasi. Kesimpulannya, pendidikan yang berkualitas bukan hanya mencerdaskan individu, tetapi juga memperkuat tatanan sosial dan kemanusiaan, menjadikannya elemen penting dalam membangun masyarakat yang lebih baik.

Abstract

The principal plays a crucial role in improving the quality of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning, aiming to shape students' character in accordance with Islamic values. This article examines principals' strategies in enhancing the quality of PAI learning through a literature review method of 10 selected journals from 2020-2023. Data were obtained using the Harzing’s Publish or Perish application with the keyword "Principals’ strategies to improve the quality of Islamic Religious Education learning." The review findings indicate that academic supervision, curriculum innovation, management of human resources and facilities, implementation of visionary and spiritual leadership, and the use of school-based management are the main strategies employed by principals. Academic supervision has proven effective in enhancing PAI teachers' competencies through observation and constructive feedback. Curriculum innovation relevant to contemporary needs also plays a significant role in creating high-quality learning. Furthermore, effective management of human resources and educational facilities fosters a conducive learning environment. These strategies are strengthened by visionary and spiritual leadership, oriented toward reinforcing Islamic values. These findings underline the importance of the principal's role in fostering PAI learning success through well-planned and innovative approaches.
