Abstract

This research explores the role of social entrepreneurs in creating social impact through implementing good governance. Social entrepreneurs often combine business goals with social missions, using sustainable business models to address social issues such as poverty, the environment, and education. Good governance is the key to success because it ensures transparency, accountability, and inclusive participation in decision-making. This qualitative research highlights how good governance practices can strengthen the legitimacy and sustainability of social enterprises and increase positive impacts in society, especially in Bali. This research explores the role of social entrepreneurs in creating sustainable social impacts through the Theory of Change approach and the Penta Helix model. Theory of Change is used to formulate effective social transformation strategies by identifying the ultimate goal and the critical steps needed to achieve it. Meanwhile, the Penta Helix model facilitates collaboration between five key elements—government, academics, business, community, and media—to strengthen the social innovation ecosystem. This research highlights how social entrepreneurs can utilize these two approaches to strengthen good governance, increase accountability, and expand positive impacts on society through inclusive and sustainable partnerships.

Abstract

This study aims to provide empirical evidence on the factors influencing the hybrid workplace model from the employer's perspective, as well as the intention of adopting hybrid work as the future of work to enhance performance. The theoretical framework combines the Theory of Performance and Development as a reference for the study. This is a quantitative research study that employs purposive sampling, selecting participants based on specific criteria. Data collection was conducted through a survey method using questionnaires distributed to 170 respondents. The analysis was performed using the SmartPLS 4.0 software. The empirical results show a strong correlation between work engagement and employee performance, with the integration of mediating factors. The findings indicate that better acceptance of the benefits of hybrid work and work-life balance by employees contributes to improved employee performance. Furthermore, evidence suggests that the path coefficient of hybrid work has the most dominant role in influencing employee performance and work engagement, particularly among Generation Z. This indicates that Generation Z possesses a forward-thinking approach to self-quality, enabling them to align their interests with their efforts to maintain their work quality.

Abstract

This study investigates the impact of ease of use, convenience, risk, trust, and security on the adoption of BNI ( Bank Negara Indonesia ) mobile banking, emphasizing the mediating role of customer satisfaction. The research is grounded in the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) and the Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB). Data were collected through a survey of 148 BNI mobile banking users in Bali and analyzed using Partial Least Squares (PLS). The findings reveal that convenience and security significantly influence customer satisfaction and the intention to use the application, with satisfaction partially mediating the relationship between convenience and intention. In contrast, ease of use, risk, and trust do not have a significant impact on satisfaction or intention. These results underline the critical role of convenience and security features in driving customer satisfaction and promoting the use of BNI mobile banking. To enhance the user experience, banks should focus on optimizing these aspects. Future studies could expand the scope by comparing these findings with those of other mobile banking platforms to identify the relative strengths and areas for improvement in BNI mobile banking services.

Abstract

Digital nomads in Bali face several issues, despite the island's popularity as a hub for remote work. Digital nomads often struggle with understanding and navigating Indonesia's visa requirements, which may not clearly accommodate remote workers. This uncertainty can lead to legal issues or unexpected expenses. This research design uses a quantitative approach with the research location conducted at co-working spaces in Canggu, North Kuta District, Badung Regency, Bali. Data analysis uses the Partial Least Squares (PLS) technique. The results of the data analysis show customer satisfaction acts as a partial mediating variable in the relationship between service quality and revisit intention. This means that while service quality can directly influence revisit intention, it can also do so through customer satisfaction, albeit not entirely. Similarly, social value serves as a partial mediating variable between service quality and revisit intention. This indicates that service quality can directly impact revisit intention without necessarily involving social value.

Abstract

Abstract

The phenomenon of increasing suicide cases in Indonesia is attributed to mental health issues, with more women affected than men. Indonesian culture assigns women more significant roles and responsibilities in domestic and childcare duties, coupled with the pressure of modern work environments. This can cause several mental health problems for millennial working moms who juggle multiple roles. Achieving a healthy work-life balance is crucial for them. This study investigates the impact of work-life balance on millennial working moms' mental health and performance, focusing on the moderating effects of social support and organizational trust. Quantitative methods and SEM-PLS analysis collected data from 172 millennial working moms at the Directorate General of Taxes in Bali. The criteria for purposive sampling included being married, employed as permanent staff at the Directorate General of Taxes in Bali, and classified as millennials (born between 1980 and 2000). Findings reveal that work-life balance positively impacts mental health but does not directly influence performance. However, mental health mediates the relationship between work-life balance and performance. Social support and organizational trust did not significantly moderate these relationships. The study underscores the importance of maintaining a healthy work-life balance and mental health to enhance millennial working moms' performance while highlighting the need for organizational policies that foster trust and support work-life balance. Future research should incorporate qualitative methods to gain deeper insights into the personal experiences of millennial working moms.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the impact of the quarter-life crisis on turnover intention in the digital era, as well as to identify strategies for reducing turnover intention caused by the quarter-life crisis. The population of this research consisted of young adults holding strategic positions in companies in Denpasar City. A qualitative research method with in-depth interviews with 10 informants was used to explore the effects of the quarter-life crisis on turnover intention in the digital era occurring in Denpasar City. The results of the study showed that young adults viewed self-branding behavior on social media as a positive thing as long as it was not overdone. The desire to resign from a company was more likely to arise when individuals felt they were unsuccessful in leading a team, did not align with the company’s leadership, or faced excessive work pressure in terms of workload and working hours. The effects of feeling pressured or other factors within the quarter-life crisis dimensions that drive young adults to want to leave the company must immediately be addressed to find solutions to mitigate them.

Abstract

This study explores consumer purchase intentions for Somethinc, a leading Indonesian skincare brand, examining factors like influencers, product quality, customer reviews, viral marketing, and pricing in the competitive skincare market. It addresses the challenge of understanding consumer interest in local brands amid global competition, with a focus on the moderating role of service quality. A quantitative approach was employed using survey data collected from 428 Somethinc Instagram followers through online questionnaires. The questionnaire included validated scales measuring influencer impact, product quality, customer reviews, viral marketing, pricing, service quality, and purchase intention. The data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with PLS to assess the relationships among variables and test the moderating effect of service quality. The findings show that influencers, product quality, customer reviews, viral marketing, and pricing positively impact purchase intention, while service quality does not significantly moderate the relationship between product quality and purchase intention. The study highlights the importance of credible influencers, appealing packaging, positive reviews, viral marketing, and competitive pricing in driving consumer interest in local skincare products.
