Abstract

Abstrak: Jurnalistik atau wartawan merupakan sebuah profesi yang mengemban tanggung jawab,dan kebebasan serta memunyai kode etik. Di era Millenial saat ini tugas seorang jurnalistik terhadapkebebasan pers pada perkembangan zaman di media massa sangatlah penting. Dalam tulisan inipenulis mengkaji bagaimana bagaimana kode etik jurnalistik dan kebebasan pers di era Millenialditinjau dari nilai-nilai Islam, apakah kode etik jurnalistik yang ada saat ini dapat mengontrol kebebasanpers atau tidak, sarta dampak kebebasan pers di era Millenial. Adapun tujuan dari kajian ini adalahuntuk menguraikan kode etik jurnalistik dan kebebasan pers di era Millenial ditinjau dari nilai-nilaiIslam. Metodologi yang digunakan dalam tulisan ini yaitu penelitianlibrary research (studi pustaka)yakni penelitian terhadap kode etik jurnalistik dan kebebasan pers yang terdapat dalam Undang-Undang pers tahun 2006 yang dianalisa dengan cara menguraikan secara tepat dan akurat dari datanaskah Undang-undang pers tahun 2006, sehingga menghasilkan suatu kesimpulan, dari uraianhasil analisa penulis terhadap kode etik jurnalis dan kebebasan pers di era Millenial ditinjau dai nilainilaiIslam. Yaitu, Sejak tahun 1947 memang sudah ada kode etik jurnalistik di Indonesia sebagaiacuan dan juga pedoman bagi wartawan dalam menjalankan profesinya. Kode etik jurnalistik tersebutterus mengalami revisi sesuai dengan tuntutan pasar. Perubahan demi perubahan terus dilakukandalam mrangka mengaktualisasikan kode etik dengan profesi wartawan yang semakin banyak mengalamitantangan. kode etik jurnalistik yang ada saat ini sesungguhnya sudah tergolong longgar dan memberiruang gerak yang cukup luas bagi wartawan. Namun demikian, nilai tambah dari kode etik jurnalistikyang ada saat ini masih tetap mempunyai komitmen yang tinggi pada nilai-nilai etika. Hal ini sesuaidengan nilai-nilai Islam, yang juga mempunyai komitmen yang kuat pada nilai kejujuran, kebenaran,tampa menyebar berita bohong, apalagi menebar fitnah. Disinilah bisa ditemukan tititk temu antaraesensi kode etik jurnalistik dengan nilai-nilai Islam. Walaupun secara teoritis ada kaitan erat antarakode etik jurnalistik dengan nilai-nilai Islam, namun dalam realitanya masih terdapat banyak praktekjurnalistik yang menyimpang. Dengan demikian sesungguhnya nilai-nilai yang terkandung dalamIslam erat kaitannya dengan kode etik jurnalistik. Banyak sekali prinsip-prinsip yang terkait denganpencarian dan penyampaian informasi baik dalam alquran maupun hadis yang sejalan denganprinsip-prinsip yang terkandung dalam kode etik jurnalistik.Kata kunci: Kode Etik Jurnalistik, Kebebasan Pers, Millenial Dan Nilai-Nilai Islam

Abstract

Tindakan satu pihak mungkin akan memicu respons pihak lain melalui proses interaksi sosial. Interaksi sosial terjadi di segala kalangan kehidupan, salah satunya di kalangan pemulung. Dusun 11 Desa Bandar Khalipah merupakan salah satu dusun yang sebagian masyarakatnya memiliki pekerjaan sebagai pemulung. Pemulung melakukan berbagai interaksi sosial dengan warga Dusun 11, Desa Bandar Khalipah. Oleh karena itu, tujuan penulisan skripsi ini adalah untuk mengetahui interaksi sosial yang terjadi di Dusun 11 antara pemulung dengan masyarakat, serta faktor-faktor yang memudahkan atau menghambat hubungan tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan dokumentasi, prosedur wawancara, dan observasi partisipan pasif untuk mengumpulkan data melalui investigasi lapangan. Pertukaran informasi antara pemulung dan masyarakat melalui pertukaran informasi merupakan interaksi sosial yang positif di antara mereka, hal ini terlihat dari pengolahan data dan analisis menggunakan hasil deskriptif. Pertukaran manfaat antara pemulung dan masyarakat Dusun 11 juga merupakan bentuk kontak sosial lainnya. Dua variabel yaitu kontak sosial dan kesamaan kepentingan menumbuhkan keterikatan sosial antara pemulung dengan warga Dusun 11 Desa Bandar Khalipah. Sementara itu, rasa tidak nyaman dan rendah diri para pemulung terhadap orang-orang yang dekat dan asing satu sama lain menghambat interaksi sosial mereka dengan warga Dusun 11. Perbedaan tingkat perekonomian juga membuat sebagian pemulung enggan bergaul dengan beberapa masyarakat Dusun 11

Abstract

This research to find out how the implementation of interpersonal communication between school principals and teachers improves performance. The theory that I use to discuss or explore this research is Bureaucracy Theory. The method used in this research is a qualitative descriptive method with the research informants used in this research being the principal and teachers at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri 2 Tanjung Balai who are related to the research problem that the principal will discuss with teachers in improving performance. The results of the research found that the implementation of interpersonal communication between principals and teachers in improving performance involves effective interpersonal communication used by principals in paying attention to teachers' performance. However, not only by using effective communication, but also by having the principal continue to control or provide motivation to teachers to support improving teacher performance well.

Abstract

This article discusses the transformation of TikTok from the entertainment platform into a new journalistic space, while exploring how traditional media adapts to digital trends. With interactive short video formats, TikTok has opened opportunities for journalists to reach younger audiences. However, the platform also presents the challenges associated with validity, credibility, and news presentations that match the ethics of the journalistic ethics. Through a qualitative approach, this article examines the role of TikTok as the distribution media of information and adaptation carried out by traditional media to remain relevant in the digital age

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji peran WhatsApp dalam penyebaran informasi akademik serta dampaknya terhadap mahasiswa Fakultas Ilmu Sosial UINSU. Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan wawancara, observasi, dan studi literatur, data dianalisis menggunakan model Miles dan Huberman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 87% mahasiswa mengandalkan WhatsApp sebagai sumber utama informasi akademik, sementara 72% menggunakannya untuk diskusi kelompok. Namun, 64% merasa terganggu oleh notifikasi, 53% mengalami tekanan sosial dalam grup, dan 41% pernah menerima hoaks. Temuan ini menegaskan pentingnya literasi digital untuk menyaring informasi serta mengoptimalkan penggunaan WhatsApp dalam komunikasi akademik mahasiswa.

Abstract

The visit of the Turkish President to Indonesia is a diplomatic event that has attracted the attention of various national and international media. The study analyzes how the media frames these visits as well as how the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) can improve public relations strategies in journalistic reporting. Using Entman's framing analysis method and AI-based big data analysis approach, this study finds that the media's framing of diplomatic visits tends to be influenced by geopolitical interests and economic narratives. The study also shows that the application of AI in media analytics can help governments and public relations agencies understand news patterns and develop more effective communication strategies. The implications of this research contribute to the development of data-based journalism and digital public relations strategies in the context of global diplomacy.

Abstract

Reading is a crucial activity that can broaden horizons and increase insight. In this digital era, reading interest faces various obstacles, ranging from minimal demand for reading to the rise of social media, and reading materials that are only skimmed because they are not interesting. This study aims to analyze the interest in reading print media journalism among the millennial generation in the 4.0 era. This study uses a qualitative approach with a phenomenological method to understand the current social phenomenon, one of which is the reading interest of the millennial generation in print media in the context of developments in the digital era. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with nine respondents including the millennial generation in Medan City which were taken using random sampling techniques. All the data that had been collected was then analyzed using the Miles & Huberman analysis technique with the stages of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. The themes of the findings regarding the Millennial Generation's Reading Interest in Print Media Journalism in the 4.0 Era are: i) changes in interest in reading print media, ii) characteristics of media consumption by the millennial generation, iii) factors influencing reading interest. Therefore, interest in reading print media has decreased significantly, due to the ease of access and speed of information from digital media. The millennial generation prefers digital platforms such as social media and video streaming which provide a more dynamic and relevant experience. However, print media still impresses in certain contexts, but the dominance of digital media is getting stronger in the daily lives of the millennial generation.

Abstract

This study uses qualitative methods in collecting the data needed by researchers using interview techniques while in the discussion using descriptive methods that describe the conditions that occur in the field systematically. Informants in this study were the head of the general sub-section of coordinator and public relations as well as people from the BBN community in Deli Serdang Regency. The communication strategy used by BBN in socializing the P4GN program through social media is content providing content through types of content in the form of video posters and various things about P4GN to educate social media followers about healthy living. How to stay away from drugs, how to become a family that has high resilience and also how the village community can shine clean from drugs.

Abstract

In the ever-evolving digital era, regional languages ​​in Indonesia are facing the threat of extinction due to modernization and globalization. This study aims to explore the role of digital journalism supported by artificial intelligence (AI), natural language processing (NLP), and blockchain technology in preserving Nusantara languages. The method used is descriptive analytical by reviewing literature from indexed scientific journals, UNESCO reports, and case studies related to language preservation and digital technology. The results of the study show that digital journalism plays an important role in documenting and disseminating regional languages ​​through interactive formats such as videos, podcasts, and multimedia articles, which are more attractive to the younger generation. NLP technology helps analyze, translate, and build linguistic models of regional languages, facilitating the processing and distribution of multilingual content. In addition, the development of regional language-based chatbots opens up opportunities for fun interactive learning. On the other hand, blockchain ensures the authenticity and copyright protection of language content by permanently and encryptedly recording each documentation, and enables cultural tokenization to encourage active participation of local communities. This study confirms that the integration of digital journalism, NLP, and blockchain not only strengthens efforts to preserve regional languages, but also builds an ethical, transparent, and sustainable digital ecosystem. Collaboration between journalists, local communities, and technology developers is the key to success in ensuring that Nusantara languages ​​remain alive and relevant in the modern era.

Abstract

Corporate image is an important asset that influences public trust and loyalty. However, in practice, PT Railink still faces challenges in building and maintaining a positive image amidst the competition in the transportation industry and high public expectations of public services. One of the problems that arises is the low level of public recognition of PT Railink as an airport train operator that is different from PT KAI's regular services. This study aims to determine PT Railink's public relations strategy in building a corporate image through journalistic media. The method used is a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The results of the study show that PT Railink implements a media relations strategy, creating press releases, managing social media, and establishing professional relationships with journalists to obtain news that aims to improve the company's image. This strategy refers to the Agenda Setting theory and mutualistic symbiosis between public relations and the media. However, limited resources and internal coordination constraints are obstacles in its implementation. This study concludes that the public relations strategy implemented is quite effective, but needs evaluation and strengthening in the implementation aspect. Abstrak Citra perusahaan merupakan aset penting yang memengaruhi kepercayaan dan loyalitas publik. Namun, dalam praktiknya, PT Railink masih menghadapi tantangan dalam membangun dan mempertahankan citra positif di tengah persaingan industri transportasi dan tingginya ekspektasi masyarakat terhadap layanan publik. Salah satu permasalahan yang muncul adalah rendahnya tingkat pengenalan masyarakat terhadap PT Railink sebagai operator kereta bandara yang berbeda dari layanan reguler PT KAI. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui strategi humas PT Railink dalam membangun citra perusahaan melalui media jurnalistik. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara mendalam, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa PT Railink menerapkan strategi media relations, pembuatan press release, pengelolaan media sosial, serta menjalin hubungan profesional dengan wartawan untuk memperoleh pemberitaan yang bertujuan menaikkan citra perusahaan. Strategi ini mengacu pada teori Agenda Setting dan simbiosis mutualistik antara humas dan media. Meskipun demikian, keterbatasan sumber daya dan kendala koordinasi internal menjadi hambatan dalam pelaksanaannya. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa strategi humas yang dijalankan cukup efektif, namun perlu evaluasi dan penguatan pada aspek implementasi.
