Abstract

Kurikulum Merdeka menekankan pengembangan literasi multimodal, namun penerapannya dalam pembelajaran matematika masih terbatas. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pembuatan makna multimodal siswa kelas IX SMP melalui komik digital matematika berbantuan Generative AI pada materi geometri bangun ruang. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif studi kasus dengan enam siswa yang dipilih secara purposif berdasarkan kemampuan spasial (tinggi, sedang, dan rendah). Data dikumpulkan melalui rekaman layar, think aloud, komik digital, dan wawancara semiterstruktur. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan analisis wacana multimodal dan analisis tematik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tiga pola pembuatan makna, yaitu visual-pertama, mediasi-teks, dan iteratif antarmoda. Kesadaran semiotik siswa berkembang dari tingkat rendah ke tingkat mahir, dengan siswa berkemampuan spasial tinggi menunjukkan transisi representasi yang lebih konsisten antara konsep abstrak dan konkret. Generative AI berperan sebagai scaffolding multimodal yang mendukung pengembangan literasi geometri dan komunikasi matematis siswa. ABSTARCT The Merdeka Curriculum emphasizes the development of multimodal literacy, but its application in mathematics learning is still limited. This study aims to analyze the multimodal meaning-making of ninth-grade junior high school students through Generative AI-assisted digital mathematics comics on spatial geometry material. The research used a qualitative case study approach with six students selected purposively based on their spatial abilities (high, medium, and low). Data were collected through screen recordings, think aloud, digital comics, and semi-structured interviews. Data analysis was conducted using multimodal discourse analysis and thematic analysis. The results of the study show three patterns of meaning-making, namely visual-first, text-mediated, and intermodal iterative. Students' semiotic awareness developed from a low level to a proficient level, with students with high spatial abilities showing a more consistent transition of representation between abstract and concrete concepts. Generative AI acts as multimodal scaffolding that supports the development of students' geometric literacy and mathematical communication.

Abstract

Abstrak - CV Paimun Andi Setiawan merupakan perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang penjualan dan jasa Air Conditioner (AC). Proses pengelolaan data penjualan, jadwal service, dan laporan masih dilakukan secara manual sehingga kurang efektif dan berpotensi menimbulkan kesalahan pencatatan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang sistem aplikasi penjualan dan jasa Air Conditioner (AC) berbasis web guna membantu pengelolaan data secara terintegrasi. Metode pengembangan sistem yang digunakan adalah Waterfall, meliputi analisis kebutuhan, perancangan, implementasi, dan pengujian. Sistem dibangun menggunakan PHP, MySQL, dan Bootstrap sebagai pendukung tampilan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sistem yang dibangun dapat mempermudah pengelolaan data produk, transaksi penjualan, dan jadwal service secara lebih cepat dan akurat. Sistem ini diharapkan mampu meningkatkan efisiensi kerja dan kualitas pengelolaan data pada CV Paimun Andi Setiawan.Kata kunci : Sistem Aplikasi; Penjualan; Jasa Service AC; Web; PHP; MySQL; Abstract - CV Paimun Andi Setiawan is a company that sells and provides service for air conditioners. Currently, the process of managing sales data, service schedules, andreports is done manually, which makes it less ef ective and can lead to errors inrecording information. This research aims to design a web-based applicationsystemfor selling and servicing air conditioners to help manage dara more integratedly. The system development method used is Waterfall, which includes requirement analysis, designing, implementation, and testing. The system was built using PHP, MySQL, and Bootstrap for the user interface. The results of this research showthat the developed system can make it easier to manage product data, sales transactions, and service schedules in a faster and more accurate way. Abstract

Visual-spatial intelligence is an important component in geometry learning, yet most junior high school students experience significant difficulties in visualizing 3D objects and performing geometric transformations. This study aims to analyze students' visual-spatial intelligence in transformation geometry in terms of self-awareness. The research method uses a descriptive qualitative approach. The research subjects were 6 Grade 9 students from SMP Islam Ibnu Hanbal Tasikmalaya selected purposively based on self-awareness levels (2 high, 2 medium, 2 low). Data were collected through visual-spatial intelligence tests, self-awareness questionnaires, and semi-structured interviews. Analysis used the Miles and Huberman model with technique triangulation. The results showed that the level of self-awareness affects students' visual-spatial intelligence. Students with high self-awareness were able to visualize 3D objects accurately, perform mental rotation systematically, and reflect on spatial reasoning processes logically and contextually. They also demonstrated strong spatial orientation and good decision-making in geometric transformations. Meanwhile, students with medium self-awareness could solve problems procedurally but lacked depth in spatial reasoning and reflection. Students with low self-awareness faced difficulties in visualizing objects, performing mental rotations, and reflecting on their spatial thought processes, resulting in outcomes that were often illogical or contextually inappropriate. ABSTRAK Kecerdasan visual spasial merupakan komponen penting dalam pembelajaran geometri, namun mayoritas siswa SMP mengalami kesulitan signifikan dalam memvisualisasikan objek 3D dan melakukan transformasi geometri. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis kecerdasan visual spasial peserta didik pada materi transformasi geometri ditinjau dari self-awareness. Metode dalam penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif. Subjek penelitian adalah 6 siswa kelas IX SMP Islam Ibnu Hanbal Tasikmalaya yang dipilih secara purposif berdasarkan tingkat self-awareness (2 tinggi, 2 sedang, 2 rendah). Data dikumpulkan melalui tes kecerdasan visual spasial, angket self-awareness, dan wawancara semiterstruktur. Analisis menggunakan model Miles dan Huberman dengan triangulasi teknik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tingkat self-awareness memengaruhi kecerdasan visual spasial siswa. Siswa dengan self-awareness tinggi mampu memvisualisasikan objek 3D secara akurat, melakukan rotasi mental secara sistematis, dan merefleksikan proses penalaran spasial secara logis dan kontekstual. Siswa dengan self-awareness tinggi juga mendemonstrasikan orientasi spasial yang kuat dan pengambilan keputusan yang baik dalam transformasi geometri. Sementara itu, siswa dengan self-awareness sedang dapat menyelesaikan masalah secara prosedural, tetapi kurang mendalam dalam penalaran spasial dan refleksi. Sedangkan siswa dengan self-awareness rendah menghadapi kesulitan dalam memvisualisasikan objek, melakukan rotasi mental, dan merefleksikan proses berpikir spasial, serta menghasilkan hasil yang sering kali tidak logis atau tidak sesuai konteks.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the trend of biological education research (BER) from 2000 to 2017 in the thesis of pre-service biology teachers. This study conducted a series of content analyses of the thesis from two universities. A total 1347 thesis were analyzed in terms of sample, method, design, elements and topics and subject matter. It was found that junior and senior high school were the most popular research sample trends. This study was also found that quantitive, research and development or/and educational design research became the trend of the method most chosen and conducted by preservice biology teachers. This findings were also indicated that descriptive, experimental, and 4-D were design trends chosen by preservice biology teachers. This study was also found that cognitive and media of learning were the research elements are the most chosen and conducted by preservice biology teachers. The next findings showed that system and cell was the most popular of biology topic. This finding also indicated that Digestive System (DS) and Circulatory System (CS) and Features (KF) as the most chosen subject matter trends conducted by preservice teachers
