Abstract

This research was conducted in connection with Accountability for Management of Village Fund Allocations in Sedati District, Sidoarjo Regency. The aim of this research is to determine and analyze the application of the principle of Accountability in managing Village Fund Allocations in the Five Villages in Sedati District, Sidoarjo Regency. This type of research uses qualitative methods with a descriptive approach. The data sources used are primary data sources and secondary data sources. Researchers analyzed data by means of data transcription, source triangulation, and data reduction. The stages that researchers carried out started from observation, interviews, and documentation. The data processing process uses data transcription, source triangulation, data reduction, and drawing conclusions. Data analysis for managing Village Fund Allocations has five stages, namely planning, implementation, administration, reporting and accountability. The results of this research show that all stages in the management of Village Fund Allocations have run well in accordance with the principles of Accountability and PERMENDAGRI Number 20 of 2018 concerning village financial management.

Abstract

This research discusses the implementation of RESTful API in the Laravel web development framework, along with the utilization of the IoT Wokwi simulator for monitoring temperature and humidity. The application of the waterfall development method is employed as an approach to organize the development process with clear steps in creating the temperature and humidity measurement program. The aim of this research is to create an efficient and well-structured application program interface using Laravel, while simultaneously leveraging the IoT Wokwi simulator as a tool for testing and validating the functionality of temperature and humidity measurement. The research methodology involves the use of the software development life cycle (SDLC) model, specifically the waterfall model, as an approach to the software development life cycle. The anticipated outcome of this research is to provide practical guidance for developers in creating an effectively integrated temperature and humidity measurement system using web technology and IoT.

Abstract

Stroke merupakan penyakit yang menyerang otak dan terjadi ketika aliran darah ke area otak tersumbat. Dan prevalensi stroke di Indonesia sebesar 12,1 per 1000 penduduk. pondok pesantren Jabal Noer memiliki santri aktif sebanyak 200 orang terdiri dari tingkatan SMP dan SMA yang bermukim di asrama pondok pesantren . Stroke yang dikenal sebagai silent killer yang dapat menyerang siapa saja tanpa memandang usia menjadi alasan perlu dilakukannya edukasi sejak dini pada para santri. Program pengabdian masyarakat ini akan berupaya meningkatkan pengetahuan dan kesadaran para santri terhadap penyakat stroke melalui penyuluhan penyakit stroke. Metode yang digunakan dalam program ini adalah penyuluhan kesehatan tentang penyakit stroke. Program ini dilaksanakan selama 1 bulan dengan sasaran peserta adalah santri putra dan putri yang tinggal di pondok pesantren. Dari hasil kegiatan yang dilakukan menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam tingkat pemahaman mengenai penyakit stroke. Kesimpulan dari penyuluhan ini adalah bahwa upaya pendidikan kesehatan dapat membawa dampak positif dalam meningkatkan kesejahteraan dan pengetahuan kesehatan masyarakat khususnya santri. Oleh karena itu penyuluhan kesehatan harus rutin dilakukan sebagai usaha menjaga kesehatan para santri.

Abstract

Pada era globalisasi saat ini, persaingan dalam dunia usaha semakin ketat, menuntut setiap pelaku bisnis memiliki strategi yang efektif dan komprehensif untuk bersaing dan berkembang. Hal ini tidak hanya berlaku bagi perusahaan besar, tetapi juga bagi Usaha Kecil dan Menengah (UKM) yang berperan penting dalam perekonomian nasional. Berdasarkan survei di BUMY, banyak karyawan menghadapi kesulitan dalam menyusun rencana bisnis yang efektif dan kurang pengetahuan tentang strategi pemasaran yang diperlukan untuk membantu produk-produk rumahan bersaing dengan produk dari pengusaha besar. Selain itu, karyawan juga mengalami tantangan dalam mendampingi pengusaha rumahan mengembangkan usaha mereka di tengah persaingan pasar yang ketat. Oleh karena itu, kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan memberikan pelatihan dan pendampingan kepada karyawan BUMY untuk meningkatkan keterampilan dalam penyusunan business plan, mengajarkan strategi pemasaran yang efektif, dan mendukung pengembangan usaha kecil dan menengah agar mampu bersaing dan berkembang di pasar yang kompetitif. Dengan adanya pelatihan dan pendampingan ini, diharapkan karyawan BUMY akan memiliki pengetahuan dan keterampilan yang lebih baik dalam menyusun rencana bisnis dan strategi pemasaran, sehingga dapat berkontribusi positif terhadap perkembangan UKM di bawah pendampingan mereka, serta memberikan dampak signifikan bagi perekonomian lokal dan nasional.

Abstract

Ekstrak tumbuhan mengandung metabolit sekunder berupa flavonoid dan senyawa fenolik yang memiliki aktivitas antibiotik. Uji aktivitas antibiotik dapat dilakukan dengan metode cakram Kirby-Bauer yang aktivitas antibiotiknya ditunjukkan dengan terbentuknya zona bening. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan ekstrak  daun Moringa oleifera  dan  kladode Opuntia cochenillifera  yang diekstrak menggunakan etil asetat sebagai pelarut. Uji aktivitas antibiotik terhadap  bakteri Staphylococcus aureus  dilakukan pada media Mannitol Salt Agar dan Luria Bertani Agar. Cakram Kirby-Bauer yang digunakan adalah Antimicrobial Disc Oxoid® dan Filter Paper. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan Antimicrobial disc Oxoid® dan Filter Paper tidak menunjukkan perbedaan secara statistik pada hasil zona bening (t-value = 0,45; p-value = 0,655; dengan α = 95%). Sementara itu, hasil Clear Zone pada Mannitol Salt Agar memberikan hasil yang lebih baik daripada Luria Bertani Agar dan signifikan secara statistik (nilai-t = 2,46; nilai-p = 0,02; dengan α = 95%). Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa kertas saring dapat menjadi alternatif yang murah untuk uji antibiotik dengan hasil yang tidak berbeda secara signifikan dibandingkan dengan cakram antibiotik komersial. Namun, uji antibiotik terhadap Staphylococcus aureus lebih baik dilakukan pada Mannitol Salt Agar dibandingkan dengan Luria Bertani Agar.

Abstract

Background: Multiplex PCR techniques are used to detect multiple pathogens at the same time simultaneously. In order to achieve the specificity and sensitivity of detection, it is important to optimize the multiplex PCR method properly. Developing suitable primers and optimizing PCR temperature to boost particular genes from pathogens are key factors for this optimization. Methods: For the simultaneous detection of Escherichia coli and Salmonella enterica in food samples, this research aims to develop a set of primers for multiplex polymerase chain reaction (PCR). Using Primer-BLAST software, the study utilizes specific primer designs for the phoA gene (Eschericia coli) and invA gene (Salmonella enterica). DNA isolation has confirmed successful extraction from the two bacterial samples. PCR was performed under different conditions, including Singleplex and Multiplex PCR, using two annealing temperatures of 53oC and 50oC. Results: The results showed that this method can effectively amplify target genes and indicate their specificity and reliability at both temperature levels. Given these results, it has successfully conducted multiplex PCR using the built primer pairs. Both annealing temperatures of 50oC and 53oC can be used to perform multiplex PCR to detect E. coli and Salmonella enterica in one PCR reaction. Conclusion: Through this research, we have created a new set of Multiplex PCR Primers and an optimized multiplex PCR technique for the simultaneous detection of E coli and Salmonella enterica in food samples. The rapid and simultaneous screening of E. coli and S. enterica, which contributes to improved food safety measures and pathogen detection in the food industry, is promising with this optimized PCR approach.

Abstract

Implementasi dashboard Business Intelligence (BI) menggunakan Qlik Sense memberikan solusi efektif untuk analisis nutrisi makanan. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kebutuhan masyarakat terhadap informasi nutrisi yang akurat dan relevan guna mendukung pola hidup sehat. Proses penelitian melibatkan pengumpulan data dari dataset publik, pembersihan data, integrasi dengan sumber eksternal melalui ODBC MySQL, dan pengembangan dashboard interaktif. Dashboard ini mencakup berbagai visualisasi, seperti KPI, pie chart, bar chart, dan scatter plot, yang memberikan gambaran menyeluruh tentang kandungan kalori, protein, karbohidrat, lemak, vitamin, dan mineral. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa dashboard Qlik Sense dibagi menjadi 2 bagian, yaitu dashboard biasa dan dashboard ODBC yang dapat meningkatkan efisiensi analisis data nutrisi, mendukung pengambilan keputusan berbasis data, dan mempermudah pengguna dalam memahami pola serta tren nutrisi. Kesimpulan ini menegaskan pentingnya penerapan teknologi BI untuk mendorong pengelolaan data nutrisi yang lebih baik. Penelitian ini diharapkan menjadi referensi untuk pengembangan lebih lanjut di sektor kesehatan dan nutrisi.

Abstract

Milk is a very important food ingredient in meeting nutritional needs and a good growth medium for microorganisms. Staphylococcus aureus bacteria are pathogens that often contaminate milk. Staphylococcus aureus bacteria can cause a disease called mastitis. The acropolis is very susceptible to infections, treatment and prevention need to be done to avoid mastitis. Treatment of mastitis until now still uses antibiotics, improper use of antibiotics can cause Staphylococcus aureus resistance to antibiotics. The mecA gene is the gene responsible for beta-lactam antibiotic resistance. This study aims to determine the presence of the mecA gene in Staphylococcus aureus isolate from raw cow's milk. The samples from this study are 24 samples taken from dairy farms in the Surabaya Region. Isolation of Staphylococcus aureus bacteria by conventional microbiology based on culture properties, Gram staining and biochemical tests. The results of this study showed that there were 5 samples that were positive for Staphylococcus aureus. Molecular detection by PCR of the mecA gene in Staphylococcus aureus was not found in the five Staphylococcus aureus isolates. Based on this study has the result that the sample found Staphylococcus aureus but no mecA gene was found.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to assess the level of basic skills of playing futsal in students at SDN Pucangan 02 Kartasura. This type of research is quantitative descriptive research. The method used is a survey with test and measurement techniques. Through tests and measurements will obtain objective data. The research subjects were students of SDN Pucangan 02 Kartasura class totaling 20 students consisting of 20 male students. Data collection was done through observation and tests. Data analysis was quantitatively descriptive. The results of the study were the level of skills in playing futsal for students of SDN Pucangan 02 Kartasura in 2023/2024 was declared “good” as many as 11 students (55%). This means that the level of futsal skills of futsal extracurricular participants is at a good level, while the average value of 110.2000 lies in the “medium” interval. Furthermore, this can provide consideration for coaches or trainers in order to improve physical and psychological quality, develop strategies, techniques and playing patterns and improve the quality and psychological abilities of futsal extracurricular participants. So that the ability and skills to play futsal for students of SDN Pucangan 02 Kartasura in 2023/2024 can continue to increase.

Abstract

Molecular analysis has played a pivotal role in diagnosing and managing diseases during pandemics by enabling early outbreak detection and rapid identification of disease causes, leading to prompt treatment. However, there is still a pressing need to enhance the understanding and proficiency of molecular diagnostics in Southeast Asia. Therefore, proactive measures should be taken to improve comprehension through seminars and training programs focused on molecular analysis. The objective is to strengthen the diagnostic and management capabilities of healthcare workers concerning infectious diseases in Southeast Asia, ultimately aiming to enhance the overall health of the population. The target participants include healthcare professionals, medical laboratory technicians, educators, and students. Through collaboration with Universiti Putra Malaysia, two significant events were organized. The International Seminar on Medical Laboratory Technology (ISoMLatech), took place on July 5, 2023, with the theme "Advancements in Molecular Assay for Diagnosing and Managing Infectious Diseases in Southeast Asia." This event was held in a hybrid format, utilizing Zoom and the UNUSA Auditorium, and it attracted 510. Afterwards, a Short Course was conducted since August 13 to 15, 2023, at Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) with 22 participants, The materials received were as followed: the fundamentals of molecular examinations, immunochemical detection, epidemiology of infectious diseases, antimicrobial resistance, and visits to UPM Campus and Institute of Bioscience, UPM. The evaluation results indicate that over 75% of participants rated both ISoMLatech and Short Course as good or very good. Consequently, there is strong anticipation for the continued success and implementation of the program.
