Abstract

The lack of instructional media usage in classroom teaching and learning activities serves as the primary problem in this study. This research aims to develop Rumah Pelajar Pancasila media to introduce diversity to early childhood students at TK Permata Sunnah Kindergarten, Kota Selatan District, Gorontalo City. The study employed a Research and Development (R&D) approach using the ADIDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). The results of the study indicated that Rumah Pelajar Pancasila media is highly feasible. Validation by subject matter experts yielded a feasibility score of 96.36% (Highly Feasible), while validation by media experts produced a score of 96.25% (Highly Feasible). The pilot test with teachers received an 80% feasibility score (Feasible), and testing with children resulted in a score of 4 (Feasible). In the large-group trial, teachers rated the media with 100% feasibility (Highly Feasible), and children provided a score of 5 (Highly Feasible).In conclusion, the development of Rumah Pelajar Pancasila media is effective in introducing diversity to young children.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the effect of cutting activities on the fine motor skills of Group B children at TK State Pembina KH Dewantoro Kindergarten, South City, Gorontalo City. An experimental method with a one-group pretest-posttest design was used. The study was conducted over two months, involving 21 children as the sample. Data collection was carried out using a performance test. A pre-test was performed to measure fine motor skills before the intervention, followed by the implementation of a cutting activity with paper for eight sessions. After the intervention, a post-test was conducted to assess changes in the children's fine motor skills. The results showed that the average score of fine motor skills before the intervention was 56.75, which increased to 88.76 after the intervention. The t-test revealed a t-statistic value of -24.720 and a p-value of 0.000, indicating that the p-value is less than the established significance level (0.05). Thus, the null hypothesis is rejected, and the alternative hypothesis is accepted, indicating that the cutting activity had a significant effect on improving the children's fine motor skills. These findings confirm that the cutting activities applied were effective in improving the fine motor skills of children at TK State Pembina KH Dewantoro Kindergarten.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of Diva cartoon videos on reading literacy skills at TK Perwati Kindergarten, Kota Tengah District, Gorontalo City. The researcher used quantitative research with an experimental method, specifically a pre-experimental design in the form of a one-group pre-test and post-test design. The study results, with a sample size of 16 children, showed a difference in the average scores between the pre-test and post-test, which were 13.69 and 29.13, respectively. Furthermore, the hypothesis testing indicated that the hypothesis (Hi) was accepted, with a linear regression test showing a significant value of 0.000, which was less than 0.05. This proves that Diva cartoon videos significantly affect children's reading literacy skills at TK Perwati Kindergarten, Kota Tengah District, Gorontalo City.

Abstract

Parenting style refers to the methods parents use to educate, guide, discipline, interact with, and protect their children to help them mature within the norms of the family and society. This study aims to describe the parenting style of parents of aerly childhood children at TK Cerdas Molibagu Kindergarten, Molibagu Village, Bolaang Uki District, South Bolaang Mongondow Regency. The qualitative research employed a descriptive qualitative approach. Data were collected through observation and questionnaires. The findings showed that, based on observations and open-ended questionnaires from 11 respondents, 36% (4 out of 11) of parents implemented an authoritarian parenting style characterized by full parental control and strict rules with punishments for violations. Similarly, 36% (4 out of 11) of parents adopted a democratic parenting style, emphasizing two-way communication and mutually agreed-upon rules. Meanwhile, 27% (3 out of 11) employed a permissive parenting style, granting full freedom to the child, where decisions were primarily based on the child’s preferences. The result indicate that the dominant parenting styles applied by parents at TK Cerdas Molibagu are authoritarian and democratic.

Abstract

Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimana Implementasi media realia di kelompok A TK Aster Kota Barat Kota Gorontalo. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan implementasi media realia di kelompok A TK Aster Kota Barat Kota Gorontalo. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskripsi kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa Implementasi Media realia di Kelompok A TK Aster Kota Barat Kota Gorontalo dalam pembelajaran dengan menggunakan media realia yang dilaksanakan didalam kelas anak mendapatkan informasi langsung dari benda-benda yang sudah disediakan guru dalam kegiatan belajar mengajar. hal ini didukung dengan hasil pengamatan yang dilakukan peneliti melalui indikator ketepatan media yang dipilih guru, keterampilan guru dalam menggunakan media, dan keterampilan pesan pembelajaran melalui media yang digunakan.

Abstract

Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah apakah terdapat pengaruh media loose partterhadap minat bermain sains anak usia 5-6 tahun di TK Negeri Montessori kecamatan dungingi kota gorontalo. Tujuan ini untuk mengetahui data pengaruh media loose part terhadap minat bermain sains anak usia 5-6 tahun di TK Negeri Montessori. Metode penelitian yang digunaan kuantitatif eksperimen pre-eksperimen (on-group pretest-posttest design). Hasil penelitian dengan jumlah sampel 30 anak menunjukan adanya perbedaan besaran rata-rata hasil pretest dan posttest. Hal ini dapat dilihat pada data pretestmemperoleh nilai rata-rata 42 dan standar deviasi 2.637. sedangkan pada posttest memperoleh nilai rata-rata 41 dan standar deviasi 2.800. Hasil tersebut membuktikan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan sebelum dan sesudah pemberian perlakuan. Pengujian hipotesis dengan uji t, pada bagian sig. (2-tailed) diperoleh dari t hitung 0,000 <0,05 maka hipotesis diterima. Dengan demikian, hipotesis penelitian menyatakan bahwa terdapat pengaruh media loose partterhadap minat bermain sains anak usia 5-6 tahun di TK Negeri Montessori Kecamatan Dungingi Kota Gorontalo.

Abstract

Early childhood development is a crucial phase in human life, marked by rapid changes in physical, cognitive, social, and emotional domains. This study aims to explore in depth the growth process and unique characteristics of early childhood using a qualitative approach through literature review methods. The findings reveal that young children possess high curiosity, vivid imagination, and strong dependence on adults in learning and social behavior formation. Physical development progresses rapidly, while cognitive and socio-emotional development are significantly influenced by environmental stimulation, parenting style, and social interaction. Understanding these characteristics and developmental needs allows educators and parents to implement more effective approaches in supporting children's growth. This study emphasizes the importance of creating a safe, supportive, and responsive environment as a foundation for future educational success and character building.

brings various challenges as well as opportunities in efforts to improve the quality of early The implementation of the Independent Curriculum in Early Childhood Education (PAUD) childhood education in Indonesia. This article discusses the views of teachers regarding the implementation of the Independent Curriculum, highlighting aspects of understanding, implementation, and impact. Based on the results of the questionnaire and in-depth analysis, it is known that most teachers have understood the Independent Curriculum quite well, although more optimal training and mentoring are still needed. Obstacles faced in its implementation include limited facilities and infrastructure, lack of support from management, and challenges in adapting new learning approaches. Even so, the Independent Curriculum has been proven to have a positive influence on children's enthusiasm for learning and increase parental participation in the education process. In conclusion, with the cooperation and commitment of various parties to continue to improve the quality of PAUD, the Independent Curriculum has great potential to provide innovation and maximum benefits for the growth and development of children in Indonesia.

Abstract

The development of the Indonesian language is very important because communication is also essential for the developmental stages of children. Through language, they communicate and engage in social interaction. One form of stimulation that can be used to enhance language development in early childhood is social interaction. Therefore, this study aims to investigate the role of social interaction in improving language development in early childhood. The research subjects involved 15 students from TK Negeri Adenium, three of whom exhibited introverted personalities and tended to withdraw from their peers. The research method used included observations and interviews with teachers, as well as direct observation of the students over a certain period. The results of the study showed that social interaction plays a significant role in enhancing language abilities in early childhood.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the influence of the cooking class learning center on the science skills of children aged 4–5 years at TK Negeri Pembina, Kota Tengah District, Gorontalo City. This research employed a quantitative approach using a pre-experimental method with a one-group pre-test and post-test design. The study involved a sample of 17 children and revealed a difference in the average scores between the pre-test (16.41) and post-test (31.71). The hypothesis testing using linear regression analysis showed a significance value of 0.000, which is less than 0.05, indicating that the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted. These results demonstrate that the use of the cooking class center has a significant effect on the science skills of children aged 4–5 years at TK Negeri Pembina, Kota Tengah District, Gorontalo City.
