Abstract

An understanding of the competencies of each individual varies, especially if correlated with improving the quality of human resources in developing education that has high quality. Therefore, researchers want to carry out research related to how the speed of students of language study programs and Indonesian literature can understand meaning by mapping contemporary literature. This research is a qualitative descriptive research that is to describe the ability of students to understand meaning in using contemporary literary mapping. Data collection methods used are observation, interviews and documentation. The subjects of this study were students. Analysis of the data will be conducted qualitatively to determine the ability of students to understand meaning in using contemporary literary mapping.Keywords: speed, understanding, meaning, mapping, contemporary

Abstract

Literary works are created as a means for authors to express their feelings and thoughts and voice their ideas, views, or life hopes. A short story is a form of literary work. Short stories can be dissected with a hegemonic approach. The theory of hegemony is a political theory put forward by Antonio Gramci (1891-1937). The theory of hegemony is suitable to be used to dissect the short story entitled The People's Court by Putu Wijaya. This is because the concept of the story built in the short story of the People's Court refers to the discussion of power. With the hegemonic approach, it is found that there are two models of hegemony that are often used in Putu Wijaya's poem entitled People's Court, namely the concept of coercion and building several forms of hegemony in kinship.

Abstract

Cerita pendek sebagai salah satu jenis karya sastra ternyata dapat memberikan manfaat kepada pembacanya. Diantaranya dapat memberikan pengalaman pengganti, kenikmatan, mengembangkan imajinasi, mengembangkan pengertian tentang perilaku manusia, dan dapat menyuguhkan pengalaman yang universal. Pengalaman yang universal itu sangat berkaitan dengan hidup dan kehidupan manusia serta kemanusiaan. Hal tersebut ditujukan untuk membangun realitas sastra serupa dengan kenyataan dunia yang memang seakan-akan tidak dibuat-buat. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan menggunakan pendekatan mimetik. Dalam mengumpulkan data, penelitian ini menggunakan teknik pustaka. Selanjutnya teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis deskriptif mencakup reduksi data, sajian data, dan verifikasi serta simpulan. Setelah data dianalisis, data divalidasi dengan teknik triangulasi peneliti. Berdasarkan hasil analisis, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa dalam cerpen “Seragam” Karya Aris Kurniawan Basuki banyak mengandung fenomena sosial, yaitu mencakup (1) persahabatan masa sekolah, (2) pengorbanan dalam persahabatan, dan (3) ketulusan dalam persahabatan. Selain itu, fenomena sosial dalam cerpen “Seragam” Karya Aris Kurniawan Basuki mempunyai hubungan dengan dunia nyata.

Abstract

Interference is one of the effects of language contact. Interference is interpreted as interference, interference, or the inclusion of language elements into other languages. This research is intended to find out the forms of interference and possible solutions to improve Indonesian language learning, especially for students at SDN 1 Jipo, Kepohbaru, Bojonegoro. This research is a type of descriptive qualitative research. The data in this study are transcripts of student conversations when learning Indonesian takes place. Data collection was carried out using observation, recording, interviewing, and listening techniques. Then do preduction and presentation of data, as well as drawing conclusions. The last step, the researchers conducted time triangulation, to experts, and discussions. Based on the results of data analysis,five forms of language interference were found, namely cultural interference, semantics, syntax, morphology and phonology. Cultural interference occurs due to students' lack of knowledge of the target language culture (B2). Semantic interference occurs in the use of words that have variables in a language. Syntactic interference, including the grammatical system of B1 mixed with B2. Morphological interference, occurs in the formation and change of word formsin the use of B1 due to friction with B2. Phonological interference, there are errors in pronunciation or pronunciation of sounds in Indonesian because they are influenced byregional language (Javanese).Language interference is difficult to eliminate so we need a way to minimize its impact. The methods that can be used are the teacher's efforts, student awareness, and the role of the environment.

Abstract

Analisis wacana kritis sebagai studi tentang struktur pesan dalam komunikasi. AWK mengamati bahasa sebagai fakta penting untuk melihat ketimpangan-ketimpangan dalam masyarakat. Berdasarkan hasil analisis, ditemukan beberapa hal dalam pada novel “Koella” dan “Maria Tsabat” karya Herlinatiens yaitu (1) ditemukan latar permasalahan dari kalimat struktur makro pada novel terkait, sebuah fenomena tentang percintaan yang terhalang sejarah juga ideologi; (2) pengarang novel berusaha memaparkan secara gamblang terkait permasalahan yang muncul dalam kisah percintaan pelik melalui 3 babak (awal, konflik. dan resolusi); (3) ada maksud dan kecenderungan yang ingin disampaikan pengarang tentang perjuangan mempertahankan cinta di atas stigma negatif dari masyarakat; dan (4) suatu pemahaman mendalam tentang karya, kesadaran pengarang, dan kaitannya dengan permasalahan di masyarakat.

Abstract

The progress of science and technology has pushed the writing of literary works into a world without boundaries known as cyber literature. Cyber literature tries to answer the challenges of modernization by becoming a space for imaginative expression. Everyone can express their ideas and imagination on cyber literature. Cyber literature is an interesting medium to study through critical reading activities. At the tertiary level, critical reading skills are raised in the CPL Study Program. In the Indonesian Language and Literature Education Study Program, Wisnuwardhana University, the CPL Study Program is revealed in Literature CPL – MK which can be integrated with cyber literary media and critical reading skills. The Literary MKs are Literary Theory and Aesthetics, Fictional Prose, and Fictional Prose Appreciation. Learning to read critically using cyber literature can be grouped into six structured activities, namely (1) interpreting, (2) analyzing, (3) reasoning, (4) evaluating, (5) explaining, and (6) self-managing. The six activities are a gradual and continuous series.

Abstract

Student academic achievement is important in education. Low achievement hinders progress and future opportunities. Research shows that factors such as low motivation and mismatched learning models have a negative impact. Learning models play a role in enhancing student engagement and learning outcomes. Understanding these factors is essential to iimprove the iquality iof ieducation. This study evaluates ithe influence iof learning models, student motivation, and their interaction on learning outcomes. Findings indicate that learning models have a isignificant iinfluence ion istudent ilearning ioutcomes. Additionally, student motivation also plays a crucial role in achieving good learning outcomes. The iinteraction ibetween learning imodels iand student motivation also significantly affects ilearning ioutcomes. The implication is that it is important to select the appropriate learning models and enhance student motivation to improve learning outcomes. Further research can explore in more detail the interaction and effects of these factors on student learning outcomes.

Abstract

The aim of this study is to analyze the influence of the learning environment on students' characters mediated by interest in reading novels. This research adopts a quantitative approach with explanatory research design. The subjects of the study are 11th-grade students majoring in Social Studies who take Indonesian language subjects at public high schools in Malang City, with a total sample size of 262 students. Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) is employed to analyze the hypotheses. The results of this study indicate that there is an enhancement of students' characters through self-potential development, which is influenced by the learning environment and directed by interest in reading novels. The learning environment supports the creation of opportunities for students to develop an interest in reading novels. Interest in reading novels serves as a mediation or link between the learning environment and the development of students' characters. Therefore, the findings of this study affirm that motivation to read novels can play a crucial role in shaping students' characters through the utilization of self-potential that occurs in a conducive learning environment. AbstrakTujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk menganalisis pengaruh lingkungan belajar terhadap karakter siswa yang dimediasi oleh minat baca novel. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif  jenis explanatory research. Subyek penelitian adalah siswa kelas XI Peminatan Sosial yang menempuh mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia di SMA Negeri di Kota Malang, dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 262 siswa. Untuk menganalisis hipotesis, digunakan alat analisis Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). Top of FormHasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan karakter siswa melalui pengembangan potensi diri, yang dipengaruhi oleh lingkungan belajar dan diarahkan oleh minat membaca novel. Lingkungan belajar mendukung terciptanya kesempatan bagi siswa untuk mengembangkan minat dalam membaca novel. Minat membaca novel menjadi mediasi atau penghubung antara lingkungan belajar dan perkembangan karakter siswa. Dengan demikian, hasil penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa motivasi membaca novel dapat berperan penting dalam membentuk karakter siswa melalui pemanfaatan potensi diri yang terjadi dalam lingkungan belajar yang kondusif.

Abstract

Salah satu penentuan fungsi penggunaan suatu media dalam Media dalam pembelajaran salah satunya berfungsi untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Oleh karena itu, media memegang peran yang sangat penting. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan media Powtoon terhadap peningkatan hasil menulis teks persuasi siswa kelas VIII SMP Islam Dampit Kabupaten Malang. Data dalam penelitian ini diperoleh melalui tes-pretest dan postest dan dianalisis secara statistik menggunakan komputerisasi SPSS versi 19.0 dengan analisis regresi serta uji hipotesa. Berdasarkan analisis data, diperoleh jumlah persentase; kooefisien media Powtoon, kooefisien korelasi sederhana, koefisien determinasi, signifikansi F secara berturut-turut; 29,3%, 77,1%, 59,4%, dan 40,6% yang menunjukkan bahwa media Powtoon memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap peningkatan kemampuan menulis teks persuasi siswa di kelas VIII SMP Islam Dampit kabupaten Malang, sehingga dapat direkomendasikan menjadi media pembelajaran yang efektif berkaitan dengan keterampilan menulis siswa dan teks persuasi.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of character, motivation, and learning environment on the creative thinking ability of eighth-grade students in Indonesian Language lessons at SMP Negeri 1 Jabung and SMP Negeri 1 Pakis, Malang Regency. Based on Bronfenbrenner's ecological theory (1979), which emphasizes the role of the learning environment, this research uses a quantitative approach with a descriptive correlational design, involving 231 students selected as samples using the Raosoft method. Data were collected through questionnaires and creative thinking tests, which were tested for validity and reliability. The analysis results indicate that students' character significantly influences creative thinking ability (t-statistic = 4.133, coefficient = 0.242), where positive character traits such as discipline and responsibility support creativity. Learning motivation also has a significant effect (t-statistic = 5.973, coefficient = 0.368), with intrinsic motivation playing a dominant role in enhancing creativity. Additionally, a conducive learning environment (t-statistic = 3.502, coefficient = 0.199) also supports the development of students' creativity. These findings emphasize the importance of developing character, motivation, and the learning environment to create conditions that foster student creativity, contributing to better educational policies.
