Abstract

This study evaluates IT governance at PT. Telkomsel Manado using the COBIT 2019 framework. The main issue is how to enhance IT performance and manage risks more effectively. The research methodology includes a literature review and stakeholder interviews to gather data on the company's IT strategy, goals, risks, and challenges. The findings indicate that the implementation of COBIT 2019 provides a comprehensive assessment of the company's IT governance. The IT audit revealed several areas needing improvement, particularly in risk management and aligning IT strategy with business objectives. Based on these findings, recommendations are made to optimize IT utilization to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness. The study shows that PT. Telkomsel Manado has 7 core models with capability level 4, including EDM03, APO12, BAI03, BAI06, DSS04, DSS05, and MEA03. In conclusion, adopting the COBIT 2019 framework can enhance IT performance and efficiency, assisting PT. Telkomsel Manado in addressing their technological and business challenges.

Abstract

The process of designing a mobile application requires a user-centered approach that addresses real-world problems through innovation and creativity. This study focuses on applying the Design Thinking method to develop the UI/UX for a shoe repair service application, aimed at enhancing the user experience for both customers and service providers. The Design Thinking process consists of five stages: empathize, define, ideate, prototype, and test. Through these stages, the study identifies key pain points, such as customers’ difficulties in locating service providers and estimating repair times, and service providers’ challenges in managing customer flow and payment methods. Solutions generated include real-time updates on vendor locations, transparent wait times, and multiple payment options. Prototypes were developed and tested to assess usability, with the research highlighting the need for continuous iteration to improve user experience. The usability testing revealed mostly positive results, with an average usability score of 88.8 across scenarios. However, certain areas, particularly screens in scenario 5, showed higher error rates and required further refinement. This study demonstrates the effectiveness of the Design Thinking method in solving complex design challenges, offering innovative solutions tailored to user needs. The Shoe Repair application’s design not only enhances functionality but also addresses specific challenges faced by users, emphasizing the importance of an iterative, user-focused approach in UI/UX design

Abstract

Teknologi Informasi (TI) menjadi esensial dalam operasi bisnis modern, mempengaruhi daya saing, efektivitas, dan efisiensi organisasi. Keberhasilan tata kelola TI terletak pada kesesuaian dengan tujuan organisasi dan adaptasi terhadap perubahan teknologi. COBIT 2019, sebuah framework yang membantu manajemen bisnis dalam mengelola TI, menjadi kunci dalam memandu strategi pengembangan. Penelitian di Dinas Kominfo Sulawesi Utara menemukan tiga proses prioritas: APO12 - Managed Risk, DSS01 - Managed Operations, dan DSS05 - Managed Security Services. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tingkat kapabilitas dan keefektifan masing-masing proses, dengan APO12 berada pada kapabilitas level 2 dan rating 66%, DSS01 pada level 4 dengan rating 83%, dan DSS05 pada level 2 dengan rating 84%. Evaluasi ini memberikan wawasan yang berharga untuk meningkatkan kinerja dan keamanan TI di institusi tersebut, serta memastikan kontribusi TI yang optimal terhadap tujuan organisasi. Dengan demikian, pemahaman yang mendalam tentang aspek TI yang spesifik dan perannya dalam konteks bisnis lokal menjadi kunci dalam mengambil langkah-langkah yang relevan dan efektif dalam pengelolaan TI.

Abstract

Sebuah penerapan teknologi informasi di setiap perusahaan merupakan suatu hal yang begitu penting. Teknologi informasi dapat menjadi suatu bagian yang akan dapat mendukung akan keberlangsungannya bisnis proses di perusahaan. Untuk dapat memaksimalkan sebuah hasil layanan dari teknologi informasi sesuai best practice maka dapat memerlukan melakukan evaluasi. ITIL V.3 menjadi salah satu kerangka kerja audit yang bisa digunakan untuk dapat mengevaluasi layanan teknologi informasi yang berdasarkan dengan tingkat kematangan yang dibagi menjadi 5 level. Pada penelitian ini dilakukan evaluasi pada PT. XYZ di Suluttenggo. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu akan memberikan evaluasi berupa rekomendasi berdasarkan hasil audit dan dapat membantu perusahaan untuk menerapkan best practice berdasarkan dari hasil yang didapatkan. Setelah melakukan analisa yang berdasarkan dari kuesioner dan juga wawancara yang berisi pertanyaan-pertanyaan mengenai service desk dan incident management didapati bahwa berdasarkan dari 5 level yang ada pada kerangka kerja ITIL V.3 untuk service desk dapat mencapai tingkat kematangan level 4.5 external integration atau average comply dan incident management mencapai level 3.5 quality control atau standard comply.

Abstract

Information technology provides development for companies, with information technology facilitating companies in the work process, starting from managing existing information at the company to employee performance. Therefore, information technology has a good impact on companies. With the existence of information technology, IT Governance is needed to align IT and business in a company, this is done so that work processes in the company run more effectively both for employees and for corporate governance, corporate governance must be managed as well as possible so that it is organized and provides a good impact on the company, for this governance a system called COBIT is needed, because COBIT can manage everything from IT needs and business needs to corporate governance. With COBIT in a company, there will be designs that are in accordance with the wishes of the company and can be controlled more by IT management.

Abstract

The world of education today cannot be separated from the influence of the development of information technology. Many students today get information related to technological developments from smartphones, websites, and video games. Learning at school also uses technology such as power point, zoom, and so on. Lately many schools and parents are encouraging children to learn programming. Programming is a way of giving commands to the computer to do something. There are several benefits in learning programming for students, such as sharpening the ability to communicate thoughts in a structured and logical manner, encouraging creativity, solving problems on their own, practicing communication skills, and teaching perseverance. Therefore, we introduce python programming at SMK Negeri 1 Sorong. The methods used during the programming training are the introduction of the python programming language, the practice of making simple programs, and the evaluation of students' abilities in programming the python programming language. During the training, it was found that the students had programmed before, but still had problems in writing the program. This training discusses programming syntax, variables, input, process, and output in python programming. The results of the evaluation in this activity students have understood the basic concepts of python programming with an average result of 80%.

Abstract

Website is one of the main components of the Internet, therefore those who are able to create website may able to influence, share, sell, advertise their or their company/organization content or products. Especially during the Covid-19 era everything information or business has become available online. This community service aimed to teach and bring awareness of CMS, a non coding method and system that can help user to create website quite fast. One of the advantages of WordPress is that it can be used for various websites and applications. For example, you can use WordPress to create a simple website, to a business website. For business websites, one of the plugin modules provided by WordPress is Woocommerce. With Woocommerce users can make WordPress display into an online store or online store quite easily. According to the questionnaire the training gave user a new perspective that creating and publishing website is isn’t that complicated after all when using Wordpress.

Abstract

Tata kelola Teknologi Informasi (TI) adalah kerangka kerja yang digunakan organisasi untuk mengelola dan mengendalikan sumber daya TI secara efektif, dengan tujuan memaksimalkan nilai bisnis. PT. Kobexindo Tractor TBK menghadapi tantangan dalam mengoptimalkan manajemen TI mereka, khususnya dalam pengelolaan data penting. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menerapkan kerangka COBIT 2019 guna meningkatkan tata kelola TI di PT. Kobexindo Tractor TBK, sehingga layanan data kritis dapat dikelola secara efisien. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa perusahaan belum melakukan penilaian menyeluruh terhadap tata kelola TI dan menghadapi tantangan dalam manajemen data pesanan dan informasi stok. PT. Kobexindo Tractor TBK memerlukan proses tata kelola TI yang lebih terstruktur untuk memastikan penggunaan teknologi yang efektif dan efisien dalam mencapai tujuan bisnis. Proses tinjauan pustaka mengidentifikasi kesenjangan dalam penelitian saat ini, memberikan dasar untuk penelitian yang lebih komprehensif. Setelah analisis tujuan BAI05 dan BAI11, ditemukan hasil yang berbeda. Pada BAI05, pertanyaan mencapai level 2 dengan 75%, di bawah 85%. Demikian juga, pada BAI11, pertanyaan mencapai level 2 dengan 66%. Dengan temuan ini, penelitian ini didukung landasan teoretis yang kuat, memastikan analisis yang mendalam terhadap masalah tata kelola TI.   Kata kunci: Tata Kelola Teknologi Informasi, COBIT 2019, Manjemen Informasi

Abstract

The advancement of information technology (IT) has become essential for organizations, including Bank Mandiri, where it underpins critical business functions. This study examines the implementation of IT governance at Bank Mandiri’s Girian branch using the COBIT 2019 framework, a comprehensive tool for managing IT processes effectively. Through a qualitative case study approach and interviews with key stakeholders, the study analyzes 40 IT processes across 11 design factors, with each factor scored between 75 and 100 to prioritize their importance. High-priority processes, such as Managed Solutions Identification and Build (BAI03), Managed Requirements Definition (BAI02), Managed IT Changes (BAI06), and Managed Projects (BAI11), are identified as critical to operational stability, customer satisfaction, and strategic alignment. These objectives play a fundamental role in resource allocation, supporting seamless IT operations and enhancing customer service. Processes with lower scores are deprioritized, allowing strategic focus on high-impact areas. This prioritization framework helps ensure efficient resource use, aligns IT governance with organizational goals, and reinforces the branch’s commitment to achieving reliable, customer-focused IT management. The study underscores the indispensable role of IT in supporting Bank Mandiri’s operations, where any IT disruption could significantly impact business continuity and customer satisfaction.

Abstract

The Unklab Mobile Student application is an essential platform for Universitas Klabat students to access various academic services. However, the app currently suffers from shortcomings in features and design, leading to user dissatisfaction. This research employs a Design Thinking approach to redesign the application to be more responsive, intuitive, and visually appealing. Through a series of research methods, including interviews, questionnaires, observation, and data analysis, we gain a comprehensive understanding of user needs and existing problems. The analysis results are then used to formulate improved solutions, which include the development of efficient search features, a more intuitive layout, and enhanced design responsiveness. The resulting app prototype incorporates 17 features and is subjected to usability testing. The results demonstrate a significant increase in user satisfaction, with a high success rate of 60 in each tested task, indicating positive outcomes. This confirms the effectiveness of the Design Thinking approach in designing an application that better meets user needs.
