Abstract

Abstract: The Role of Parents and Schools in Shaping Students' Reading Interest. The purpose of this study was to determine how the role of parents and schools in shaping students' interest in reading. This type of research is a case study qualitative method. The informants in this study were two second grade students, two second grade parents, a second grade teacher, and the principal of SD NU Pemanahan. The data collection techniques used in this research are interviews, observation, and documentation. The results of this study indicate that the importance of the role of parents and schools in shaping reading interest through indicators of the role of parents (educators, encouragers, facilitators and mentors), the role of the principal (setting policies, running agendas, strengthening relationships with parents, and ensuring success), and the role of teachers (educators, role models, learning resources and facilitators) with parenting activities set by the principal based on the foundation of Albert Bandura's social learning theory to create a school atmosphere that supports the formation of students' reading interest. However, the implementation of the policy needs to be improved to ensure the set goals can be achieved. Therefore, there is a need for joint evaluation and review from parents, principals and teachers to achieve this goal.Keyword: Parental Role, School Role, Reading Interest.Abstrak: Peran Orang Tua dan Sekolah dalam Membentuk Minat Baca Siswa. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui bagaimana peran orang tua dan sekolah dalam membentuk minat baca siswa. Jenis penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif studi kasus. Informan dalam penelitian ini adalah dua siswa kelas dua, dua orang tua kelas dua, guru kelas dua, dan kepala sekolah SD NU Pemanahan. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berupa wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa begitu pentingnya peran orang tua dan sekolah dalam membentuk minat baca melalui indikator peran orang tua (pendidik, pendorong, fasilitator dan pembimbing), peran kepala sekolah (menetapkan kebijakan, menjalankan agenda, mempererat hubungan dengan orang tua, dan menjamin keberhasilan), serta peran guru (pendidik, panutan, sumber belajar dan fasilitator) dengan kegiatan parenting yang ditetapkan oleh kepala sekolah berdasarkan landasan dari teori belajar sosial dari Albert Bandura untuk menciptakan suasana sekolah yang mendukung terbentuknya minat baca siswa. Namun implementasi kebijakan tersebut perlu ditingkatkan untuk memastikan tujuan yang ditetapkan dapat tercapai. Oleh karena itu, perlu adanya evaluasi dan tinjauan ulang bersama dari orang tua, kepala sekolah, dan pihak guru untuk mencapai tujuan ini. .Kata Kunci: Peran Orang Tua, Peran Sekolah, Minat Baca

Abstract

This research examines the factors causing the decline in the discipline and respect of students at SDIT Budi Mulyo Sentolo. It explains the role of parents, teachers and schools in overcoming the degradation of students’ character of discipline and respect. This research aims to determine the causes of the decline in students’ character of discipline and respect at SDIT Budi Mulyo Sentolo. To find out the role of parents, teachers and schools in overcoming the degradation of the character of discipline and respect for students at SDIT Budi Mulyo Sentolo. To find out the consequences of failure in character education. This type of research is qualitative to determine the decline in students’ disciplined character and respect at SDIT Budi Mulyo Sentolo. The informants were determined through purposive sampling based on the characteristics of informants who knew about students’ conditions in and outside the school environment. These informants include student guardians, school principals, class teachers and the students concerned. The data collection techniques used by researchers are observation, interviews and documentation. The results of this research are the factors causing the degradation of disciplinary character, namely, not doing homework at home and violating agreed class agreements. Factors that cause a decline in respectful character include misbehaving, saying dirty words, being rude to children who follow other religions, and saying harsh words

Abstract

IPS harusnya dipandang secara komprehensif, yaitu secara teoretis maupun praktis yang berkontribusi langsung dalam kehidupan siswa. Namun praksis pembelajaran IPS tentu tidak lepas dari berbagai macam problematika. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian literature review, yaitu studi yang dilakukan dengan mengkaji literatur-literatur terkait, untuk menjawab masalah yang ada. Terdapat beberapa macam problematika dalam pembelajaran IPS, terutama terkait minimnya wawasan guru yang mengakibatkan IPS tidak diajarkan secara terpadu, tidak adanya inovasi yang dilakukan dalam pembelajaran, yang berujung kepada rendahnya minat belajar siswa terhadap IPS. Maka dari itu guru menghadirikan IPS tidak secara terpisah-pisah, kontekstual, multikultural dan bermakna, dengan menggunakan pendekatan belajar secara kontekstual yang bersumber dari lingkungan terdekat siswa. Selain itu, model pembelajaran yang menstimulus jiwa eksplorasi dan nalar kritis siswa. Nilai-nilai karakter diinternalisasikan dalam setiap proses pembelajaran IPS.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan peran orang tua dalam membimbing kemampuan membaca siswa slow learner kelas 4 SD NU Pemanahan. Metode penelitian yang di pakai adalah kualitatif studi kasus, penelitian dilakukan di SD NU Pemanahan, informan dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari lima siswa di kelas IV dan lima wali siswa, sumber data yang digunakan yaitu data primer dan data sekunder, tehnik pengumpulan. Data menggunakan wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi, analisis data menggunakan Miles and Huberman melalui Langkah-langkah pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data dan terakhir penarikan simpulan. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa orang tua mengalami kesulitan dalam membimbing kemampuan membaca dan menangani anak yang mengalami lamban belajar, serta orang tua sudah menfasilitasi belajar anak dengan cara dikursuskan supaya lancar membaca dan didampingi saat belajar membaca, selain itu orang tua berupaya memberikan dorongan untuk belajar membaca supaya memperoleh hasil atau tujuan yang diinginkan.

Abstract

Abstract Education is a conscious and planned effort to form human potential. This research aims to determine the educational values ​​contained in Surah Al - Baqarah verses 30 - 31. This research uses a qualitative approach with the type of library research. The analysis technique used is content analysis. The educational values ​​contained in QS. Surah Al-Baqarah verses 30 – 31, namely First, the obligation to ask people who do not know to those who know better. and you should not rebuke the person who asks, but it is better if the question is answered or transferred to another gently. Second, it shows the glory of science and the superiority of knowledgeable people over wicked people and the superiority of people who admit their incompetence and shortcomings. So the knowledge bestowed by Allah SWT in the form of knowledge provides teaching meaning so that humans always obey and comply with His commands. Keywords: Tafsir, QS. Abstract

Literasi merupakan langkah awal  bagi suatu individu untuk menambah ilmu pengetahuan dan meningkatkan kualitas diri. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran komik strip yang layak digunakan oleh siswa kelas III MI pada mata pelajaran bahasa Indonesia terutama pada materi arah mata angin. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan penelitian dan pengembangan (Research and Development)yang mengacu pada model pengembangan Borg & Gall yang dibatasi lima langakah yaitu 1) Potensi dan masalah, 2) Studi Literatur dan Pengumpulan Informasi, 3) Desain produk, 4) Validasi desain, 5) Desain Teruji (Respon siswa). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa telah dihasilkan media pembelajaran komik strip yang layak digunakan untuk menunjang proses pembelajaran. terbukti dari validasi ahli materi, ahli media, guru, dan respon siswa. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, media pembelajaran komik strip arah mata angin dinyatakan layak digunakan sebagai bahan ajar mata pelajaran bahasa Indonesia kelas III MI Al Qodir. Jadi, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penelitian ini menghasilkan produk media pembelajaran komik strip untuk siswa kelas III Sekolah Dasar. Media komik strip ini layak digunakan berdasarkan validasi dari ahli media, ahli materi dan validasi guru. Berdasarkan respon siswa media ini dapat meningkatkan minat dan semangat siswa dalam membaca materi pembelajaran.

Abstract

Preliminary studies show that MI Afkaaruna Islamic School (AIS) already has a religious curriculum and character education for loving the country, but there are some students who have not explicitly practiced it. The aim of the study was to analyze structural-functional theory and categorize the role of schools in implementing the values ​​of religious character and love for the motherland at MI Afkaaruna Islamic School. Research using descriptive qualitative method. The informants consisted of class I-VI teachers, religious teachers, school principals, religious teachers, and foundation boards. Data collection techniques using in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation. The validity of using the credibility test to test the Structural Functional theory of Talcott Parsons and to examine the role of schools in the implementation of students' religious character values ​​and love for the homeland. Data analysis techniques in an interactive inductive way. Miles and Huberman's data analysis is divided into three paths, (1) data reduction; (2) data presentation; and (3) drawing conclusions. The results of the study show that the role of schools in implementing the values ​​of religious character and love for the homeland of students includes managers, educators and evaluators. As managers, schools (teachers & principals) view all students' backgrounds as equal and provide financial assistance to students who are struggling economically. As educators, schools (teachers & principals) implement religious values ​​through monotheism. As an evaluator, evaluating religious character & love for the country uses two ways, namely the principal and the teacher council to become participatory observers and verify the daily journal. The results and discussion of the research explicitly prove that apart from being an institution that has a structure, schools also have a functional role. The key to a school's success in carrying out the implementation of religious character values ​​and love for the country lies in the latency indicator, which according to Talcott Parson is the process of internalizing and socializing values. Therefore, latency requires habituation and continuity.

Abstract

This research aims to describe and categorize the character education values of democratic values and social care in the Webtoon digital comic entitled Study Group for the alpha generation. Data sources in this study, using primary data sources of data collected directly from the original source, and secondary data obtained from indirect sources or those already collected by other parties. as for the data collection technique in this study is document analysis, namely data in the form of various forms of documents and works of art referred to as content analysis (content analysis for descriptive research or analysis of meaning for inferential research). The results showed that overall, this Webtoon Study Group succeeded in conveying democratic character values and social care that are important in the character building of Alpha Generation children who like digital things.

Abstract

This study aims to describe and analyze in depth the role of schools in dealing with bullying practices at MI Ma'arif Sembego. Researchers used qualitative research with a descriptive approach. The subjects of this research are first-grade to sixth-grade teachers and the principal of MI Ma'arif Sembego. Data collection techniques used in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation. Interviews are used as a way for researchers to explore information in depth about the problems in the school being studied. The non-participatory observation was conducted to observe the handling of bullying practices by principals and teachers. Documentation of this research includes school profile biodata, photos, audiovisuals, and so on. Data analysis uses the Flow method from Miles & Hubberman in the form of three stages: data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of this study show that dealing with bullying practices in schools through the role of principals and teachers can be divided into several indikators. The role of the principal becomes 4 indikators, namely leading, guiding, controlling, and providing school policies. Meanwhile, the role of the teacher is divided into 3 indikators, namely guiding, mediator, and counselor.
