Abstract

Dalam konteks energi baru terbarukan, potensi energi dari matahari yang melimpah di Indonesia perlu dimanfaatkan secara efektif khususnya daerah pelosok yang tidak teraliri arus listrik seperti pesanggrahan joglo gordo mulyo untuk keperluan penerangan berupa lampu. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui potensi energi matahari pada sebuah sistem pembangkit listrik tenaga surya dipesanggrahan joglo gordo mulyo. Metode yang digunakan adalah eksperimen dengan melalui observasi secara langsung pada pesanggrahan joglo gordo mulyo. Pengujian yang dilakukan adalah menganalisa lokasi dan kebutuhan daya menggunakan software pvsyst dan sistem pada PLTS meliputi tegangan, arus,dan daya. Hasil yang didapatkan pada kedua pengujian tersebut adalah sebagai perbandingan data terhadap software pvsyst dan sistem PLTS pesanggrahan joglo gordo mulyo dalam menentukan apakah pada lokasi tersebut berpotensi terhadap pemasangan sistem pembangkit listrik tenaga surya off-grid. Kata Kunci : PLTS Off-Grid, Pvsyst, Energi Terbarukan.

Abstract

The need for a smart grid has been spurred by the growth of distributed generation, the aging of the current grid infrastructure, and the desire to alter networks. The development and enhancement of smart grid technology is significantly facilitated by the Internet of Things (IoT) technology. Batteries play a crucial role in the energy storage of electrical systems, including smart microgrids and electric vehicles. To enhance performance and prolong battery life, a Battery Monitoring System (BMS) is required to manage the energy storage process dynamics within the battery. Battery life prediction contributes to the consistent and efficient operation of battery-powered devices. This research presents battery charging monitoring using Nodered. Apart from that, the battery charging feature uses a cut-off concept. The cut off on the battery is to prevent the battery from over-discharging which can damage the battery and shorten its lifespan. This research carried out validation using 3 case studies on battery charging. Validation of measurements uses a comparison between the INA 219 sensor and a multimeter. From experiments, current testing from 3 case studies, it was found that the average difference in current sensor error was 0.19%.

Abstract

Hipotermia merupakan salah satu penyebab utama kecelakaan pada kegiatan pendakian gunung. Kondisi ini terjadi ketika suhu tubuh inti turun di bawah batas normal sehingga dapat mengancam fungsi organ vital dan berakibat fatal. Penelitian ini bertujuan merancang sabuk pintar berbasis mikrokontroler ESP32 yang dapat memantau suhu tubuh pendaki secara real-time, mendeteksi fase hipotermia, dan memberikan peringatan dini. Alat ini menggunakan sensor suhu MCP9808 untuk membaca suhu tubuh, OLED 0.96 inci sebagai penampil data, DFPlayer Mini dan speaker untuk peringatan suara, buzzer sebagai alarm tambahan, serta LED berdaya tinggi sebagai sinyal darurat dengan pola SOS. Sistem dikategorikan berdasarkan usia pengguna (remaja, dewasa, dan lansia) dengan batas suhu berbeda pada setiap fase hipotermia. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa sensor MCP9808 memiliki akurasi yang baik dengan deviasi ±0,3°C dibandingkan termometer medis. Cahaya LED dapat terlihat jelas hingga 48 meter, sedangkan bunyi buzzer terdengar hingga jarak 32 meter. Dengan demikian, sabuk pintar ini dapat berfungsi sebagai sistem peringatan dini yang efektif untuk mencegah hipotermia dalam kegiatan pendakian gunung.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to design and implement a solar panel-based Emergency Box as a learning medium and emergency power supply solution at the Raudlatul Ulum Islamic Boarding School, Kalisat, Jember. This activity was motivated by limited electrical facilities and minimal learning practice facilities within the Islamic boarding school environment. The implementation method included literature study, needs analysis, system design, tool assembly, and outreach and mentoring activities for teachers and students. The results of the activity showed that the designed Emergency Box was able to function optimally as an alternative power source for lighting and charging electronic devices. Through training and mentoring, teachers and students gained an understanding of the working principles of solar energy as well as technical skills in operating and maintaining the device. This activity is expected to improve the quality of practice-based learning and raise awareness of the importance of using renewable energy in the Islamic boarding school environment
