Abstract

Globalization has an impact on the progress of science, increasingly sophisticated information and communication technology. Not only that, globalization also has an influence on educational conditions, including Islamic boarding schools. For this reason, in this discussion the author wants to explain the strategy of the leadership of the Al-Makmur Tungkar Islamic Boarding School in developing the education system in the era of globalization. The method that the author uses in this research is a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. In this research the author used Observation, Interviews and Documentation as data collection instruments. After conducting in-depth research, the author found three strategies implemented by the Al-Makmur Tungkar Islamic Boarding School in developing education in the era of globalization, namely: 1) Curriculum Development, 2) Strengthening Islamic Boarding School Management, 3) Improving Facilities and Infrastructure. Furthermore, the author hopes that through this article new issues will emerge in the development of Islamic education in Indonesia.

Abstract

This research explores the challenges in eliminating population categorization in the transfer of land rights. This change is highlighted due to protests and evaluations of the perceived discriminatory articles that identify race, groups, and ethnicity. The grouping in the creation of inheritance certificates is considered to create legal politics contrary to the spirit of independence, preserving differences seen as a legacy of Dutch colonialism. This research adopts a normative juridical method. The findings indicate that the delegation of tasks and authority, as well as the classification of the population in the process of creating inheritance certificates, essentially provides legal certainty to society. Separation based on archives and historical data updates has a positive impact on the land rights transfer process. This classification strengthens the legal framework related to land registration and certification, making it more secure and efficient. Conversely, the absence of classification in the creation of inheritance certificates can create legal uncertainty in the registration of land rights transfer due to the lack of clarity in data, information, and historical developments that need to be updated and recertified.

Abstract

The Qur'an and Hadith are human guidelines, especially the Muslim,  which  have  been  left  by  Rasullullah  SAW  to  all  his ummah. The Qur'an is the word of God revealed to the Prophet Muhammad SAW, as a guide for humanity in organising their lives, in order to obtain happiness physically and mentally both in the world and in the hereafter. Moving on from this, in this study the author wants to analyse the material of the Qur'an and Hadith as a guide to life. The research method used is a qualitative method with  a  content  analysis  approach.  Where  the  main source is the Al-Qur'an Hadith Textbook for Madrasah Tsanawiyah published by the Ministry of Religion. After analysing the author found three subthemes in the textbook, including: 1) Understanding the Qur'an and Hadith as a guide to Muslim life, 2) The function of the Qur'an and Hadith as a guide to life, 3) The position of the Qur'an and Hadith as a guide to life. Furthermore, the author hopes that through this research new ideas will emerge for further research.

Abstract

Character education serves as a crucial solution to address the moral degradation among teenagers, prompting the Padang city government to implement the Didikan Subuh program aimed at reinforcing students' character. This research endeavors to analyze the implementation of Didikan Subuh activities, along with the supporting and inhibiting factors. Employing a qualitative research design, the study involved observation of the Didikan Subuh program across four locations, interviews with teachers, and documentation review, including the curriculum of Didikan Subuh. Data analysis was conducted based on Miles and Huberman's theory. The research revealed several key findings: firstly, the implementation of Didikan Subuh in Padang city varies across locations in terms of purpose, activity materials, and evaluation methods. Secondly, supporting factors include an adequate number of certified teachers, a relatively large student population, and sufficient infrastructure availability. However, inhibiting factors such as adverse weather conditions, conflicting events, and lack of discipline among guidance teachers pose challenges. Additionally, there is a shortage of creative and responsible guidance teachers, along with insufficient materials for Didikan Subuh activities. The study underscores that despite its challenges, the implementation of Didikan Subuh has the potential to strengthen character education among students.

Abstract

The integration of Iman, Islam, and Ihsan in learning materials is very important as a source of understanding for students regarding the formation of aqidah amidst the rising issues of globalization and moral decadence. Based on this, in this research, the author wants to analyze the material on Faith, Islam, and Ihsan in the teaching of Aqidah Akhlak at Madrasah Tsanawiyah. The research method used is a qualitative method with a content analysis approach, the main source is the Aqidah Akhlak textbook published by the Ministry of Religion of the Republic of Indonesia. After carrying out an in-depth analysis, the author found that the structure of the Aqidah Akhlak material at Madrasah Tsanawiyah related to Faith, Islam and Ihsan consists of three sub-themes. The three sub-themes are i) Basic Concepts of Islamic Creed, ii) Basic Concepts of Faith, Islam, and Ihsan, iii) the Relationship between Faith, Islam, and Ihsan. In the future, the author hopes that this research will have a positive impact, especially in madrasas as formal educational institutions with the characteristic of instilling Islamic values in their students.

Abstract

Memorizing the Quran is one of the important aspects of Islamic education, and it not only functions as a means of building a love for the Quran but also forms a noble character in students. This study aims to analyze the school's planning, implementation, and evaluation of the tahfidz program. This study uses a qualitative method with a field research approach. Data were collected through interviews with tahfidz/tahsin teachers, students, principals, and coordinators of the Qur'an field. Data collection techniques include observation, documentation studies, and interviews, while data analysis is carried out through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions and verification. The results of the analysis show that the planning of the tahfidz program involves four main stages, namely the preparation of a syllabus that determines the material and surah to be memorized, determining the memorization target, preparing the LP (Lesson Plan), and a coordination meeting between Al-Qur'an teachers. The implementation of the tahfidz program in grade 4 follows four main steps, namely: i) iqomah, ii) tadkhil, iii) taqorir, and iv) closing in the form of motivation from the teacher and the recitation of the Kafaratul Majlis prayer. The results of the study indicate the importance of careful planning and periodic evaluation in maintaining the quality of student memorization. This program can be a model for other schools in compiling a structured and effective tahfidz program, especially at the elementary school level.

Abstract

Islam places its adherents as equal entities in the eyes of Allah SWT, the concentration of Islam is to make a servant fearful of Allah. However, the facts in fiqh are different from this principle, where one of the indicators of Kafa’ah is lineage which is interpreted that Arab ethnic humans are not ideal (sekufu). ) married a non-Arabic human (‘ajamy). Therefore, there needs to be a more detailed and more comprehensive study, considering that Islamic principles view humans not based on lineage. So with this, what are the views of the fiqh scholars, especially the four schools of thought regarding the standardization of Kafa’ah in nasab indicators (Arabic and Non-Arabic) and how does Kafa’ah influence marriage according to the four schools of thought. Through the Muqaranatul mazhab approach, the authors found that (1) Hanafiyah, syafiiyah, and hamaliyah agreed to include Arabic nasab into the kufunya indicator of marriage for sociological reasons, namely to avoid disgrace and shame that would bring down the dignity of the family of the prospective bride and groom, while Malikiyah on the other hand, because piety is teaching instilled by the egalitarian Prophet Muhammad SAW so that it can degrade lineage as a caste in marriage. (2) the opinion of the Hanafiyah school, the most superior opinion of the Shafi’i, and the Hanabilah kafaah nasab (Arabic and non-Arabic) have a major influence on marriage as a condition of luzum (sustainability of a marriage) while according to Malikiyah’s opinion, one qaul from Syafiiyah, and history from Imam Ahmad bin Hambal stated that it did not have a big effect on marriage, meaning it was not a condition for luzum (marriage continuity). Islam mendudukkan pemeluknya sebagai entitas yang sama di mata Allah SWT, Konsentrasi Islam adalah menjadikan seorang hamba bertakwa kepada Allah Kendati demikian fakta dalam fikih berbeda dengan prinsip tersebut, dimana salah satu indikator Kafa’ah adalah nasab yang ditafsirkan bahwa manusia etnis Arab tidak ideal (sekufu) menikah dengan manusia non-Arab (‘ajamy). Oleh karena itu, perlu ada kajian yang lebih detail dan lebih komprehensif, mengingat prinsip Islam memandang manusia tidak berdasarkan garis keturunan. Maka dengan ini bagaimana pandangan para ulama fikih khususnya empat mazhab terkait standarisasi Kafa’ah dalam indikator nasab (Arab dan Non-Arab) dan bagaimana pengaruh Kafa’ah dalam pernikahan menurut empat mazhab. Melalui pendekatan Muqaranatul mazhab, penulis menemukan bahwa (1) Hanafiyah, syafiiyah dan hambaliyah setuju memasukan nasab Arab kedalam indikator kufunya suatu pernikahan dengan alasan yang bersifat sosiologis yaitu untuk menghindari adanya aib dan rasa malu yang akan menjatuhkan martabat pihak keluarga calon pasangan mempelai, sedangkan Malikiyah sebaliknya dengan alasan bahwa ketakwaan merupakan ajaran yang ditanamkan oleh Nabi Muhammad SAWyang egaliter/setara sehingga dapat mendegradasi nasab sebagai kasta dalam pernikahan. (2) pendapat mazhab Hanafiyah, pendapat yang paling unggul dari syafiiyah, dan Hanabilah kafaah nasab (Arab dan non-Arab) berpengaruh besar dalam pernikahan sebagai syarat luzum (keberlangsungan suatu pernikahan) sedangkan menurut pendapat Malikiyah, satu qaul dari syafiiyah, dan satu riwayat dari imam ahmad bin hambal menyatakan tidak berpengaruh besar dalam pernikahan artinya bukan sebagai syarat luzum (keberlangsungan pernikahan).

Abstract

Globalization is a reality that humans must accept and penetrates various aspects of life, such as the economy and education. Education is not anti-globalization, but through education, there should be filtering of globalization that supports the realization of national education goals. Therefore, the position of the curriculum is seen as the basis for fortifying a generation aware of the superiority of local culture. This study aims to reveal the rationality of genre-based local culture in the curriculum, the elements of local culture teaching, and the design of the gradation of genre-based local content of Malay culture. The researcher uses a descriptive qualitative approach with the library research method to analyze the Malay cultural genre contained in the curriculum through data sources in the form of articles, books, and scientific reports. The result of this research is the implementation of Malay genre-based local content subjects has a clear foundation, namely the State of Indonesia and the Indonesian language comes from the Malay language in Indonesia. The Malay genre, as a local curriculum content, is understood as a whole of ideas, actions, and human works and has become an inseparable system from the life of the Indonesian people. Malay genre-based local curriculum design can be done by internalizing Malay culture in every subject set in the curriculum, especially those related to the cultural history of the Indonesian nation and its relation to Islamic religious education. This finding is based on the culture of the country as well as the ideology of the Indonesian state is inseparable from Islamic values.

Abstract

Tidak dipungkiri bahwasanya pendidikan dewasa ini semakin hari semakin maju akan tetapi dibalik kemajuan tersebut memunculkan kekhawatiran disebabkan pudarnya nilai-nilai ilahiyah dalam pendidikan tersebut sehingga lahirlah manusia terdidik dengan otak yang cerdas, tetapi sikap, perilaku, dan pola hidupnya yang kontras dengan kemampuan intelektualnya. Kegagalan penanaman nilai-nilai moral dalam pendidikan terlihat dengan adanya krisis ekonomi yang terus berkepanjangan, meraja lelanya korupsi, tawuran antar pelajar serta yang lebih parah, maraknya perilaku seksual di kalangan remaja. Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk memberikan nilai-nilai spritual pada aspek-aspek pendidikan dengan memaparkan tentang bagaimana sesungguhnya spritualitas dalam pendidikan terutama yang terkait dengan komponen utama dalam pendidikan yang meliputi: tujuan pendidikan, kurikulum, pendidik dan peserta didik. Metode penelitiannya yaitu penelitian kepustakaan dengan sumber data berupa buku dan tulisan yang terkait dan menggunakan analisis isi . Spritualitas dalam pendidikan Islam yaitu mencakup pada setiap komponen dalam pendidikan tersebut, baik tujuan, kurikulum, pendidik dan peserta didik yang menyadari tugas dan tanggungjawabnya sebagai wujud penerapan nilai-nilai ajaran Isam yang secara keseluruhan dilandasi oleh nilai-nilai Ilahiyah.

Abstract

The background of this research is that the religious culture of the school is essentially the embodiment of the values of religious teachings as a culture of behaviour and an organizational culture that all school members follow. This needs to be done so that Islamic religious discounts are always reflected in the daily conduct of all school members, especially students, and they can be calm in dealing with negative cultures in their environment. The method in this research is descriptive research with a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews, and documentation. The study results a show that implementing The religious culture contained in MA Paradigma is a set of religious values, namely the mandatory tradition of wearing the hijab, the habit of shaking hands with teachers when entering the school gate, the practice of reading the Koran and short letters, muhadhoroh, and performing midday prayers in congregation. The supporting factors are 1) Islamic-based schools; 2) Morals to teachers and elders; 3) Parents or guardians of students who can be invited to work together; 4) Having a broad understanding and view of Islam; and 5) Supervising teachers who participate directly in activities. The inhibiting factors are 1) the schedule of religious activities that collide with the teaching and learning schedule, 2) Students who are still negligent in participating in activities, and 3) Media information.
