Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara keyakinan diri dan kemandirian belajar dengan hasil belajar Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) dan Budi Pekerti pada peserta didik kelas VIII SMPN 31 Bandar Lampung. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Populasi berjumlah 290 peserta didik, dengan sampel sebanyak 74 peserta didik yang ditentukan melalui rumus Slovin. Instrumen ppenelitian yang digunakan berupa angket dan diuji menggunaka IBM SPSS 25. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa hubungan keyakinan diri dengan hasil belajar memiliki koefisien korelasi sebesar -0,126 dengan nilai sig. = 0,286 (> 0,05). Artinya, tidak terdapat hubungan signifikan antara keyakinan diri dengan hasil belajar. Sedangkan hubungan antara kemandirian belajar dengan hasil belajar memiliki koefisien korelasi sebesar -0,191 dengan nilai sig. = 0,103 (> 0,05). Artinya, tidak terdapat hubungan signifikan antara kemandirian belajar dengan hasil belajar. Kedua variabel bebas tidak berhubungan dengan variabel terikat. Bahkan arah korelasi menunjukan hubungan negatif meskipun lemah, yang berarti semakin tinggi keyakinan diri atau kemandirian belajar justru cenderung diikuti penurunan hasil belajar.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji integrasi estetika dan spiritualitas dalam seni kaligrafi Islam serta kontribusinya terhadap peradaban Islam dari masa klasik hingga era globalisasi. Dengan menggunakan metode kualitatif berbasis studi pustaka, penelitian ini menganalisis karya-karya kaligrafi dari perspektif keindahan visual dan kedalaman makna spiritual. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa kaligrafi berfungsi tidak hanya sebagai ekspresi seni, tetapi juga sebagai media pendidikan, pelestarian nilai-nilai Islam, dan penguatan identitas budaya. Di tengah perkembangan teknologi dan arus globalisasi, seni kaligrafi tetap relevan melalui adaptasi media dan teknik, tanpa kehilangan esensi spiritualnya. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa penguatan peran kaligrafi dalam pendidikan, diplomasi budaya, dan inovasi media menjadi strategi penting untuk menjaga keberlanjutan kontribusinya bagi peradaban Islam.

Abstract

This study fills a research gap by showing that a strong religious understanding does not always lead adolescents to act morally in the context of digital culture. To address this gap, we conducted a qualitative case study at Tunas Dharma Junior High School, engaging 12 key informants through in-depth interviews, observations, questionnaires, and documentation. We applied thematic analysis to interpret the data. The results show that 88.6%–95.5% of students demonstrate very high levels of moral knowing (C2–C4 of Bloom's Taxonomy). However, students still engage in dating practices through intensive communication on social media, the use of alternative accounts, and covert interactions. Weak moral sentiments, a cognitive-normative educational approach, the distortion of religious teachings online, and limited environmental support contribute to this gap. Theoretically, this study strengthens a model of religious value internalization that integrates moral knowledge, moral feelings, and moral actions. Practically, the findings propose integrating religious digital literacy, strengthening intrinsic motivation, and applying contextual educational strategies to bridge the gap between students' religious knowledge and moral behavior. These findings can guide school policies and support the development of sustainable local curricula.

Abstract

Student learning interest is one of the key factors in the success of the learning process, especially in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) subjects that emphasize the formation of values ​​and character. Initial observations at SMP Negeri 1 Bandar Lampung showed low student involvement and interest in PAI learning due to the dominant use of conventional methods that are less interactive. This study aims to analyze the effect of the Two Stay Two Stray (TSTS) cooperative learning model on student learning interest in PAI subjects. The study used a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental method through a post-test only control group design. The sample consisted of two classes, namely VII.9 as the experimental class that received the TSTS model treatment and VII.4 as the control class. Data were collected using a non-test questionnaire that measures two indicators of learning interest: involvement and interest. Data analysis included normality tests, homogeneity tests, and hypothesis testing using t-tests. The results showed a significant effect of the TSTS model on student learning interest with a significance value of 0.001 (p <0.05). These findings confirm that the TSTS model is effective in creating a collaborative learning environment, increasing student participation, and encouraging interaction and information exchange between groups. Therefore, the TSTS cooperative learning model is worthy of recommendation as an alternative strategy to increase learning interest in Islamic Religious Education (PAI).

Abstract

Low learning outcomes and underdeveloped higher-order thinking skills (C5/evaluation) among students in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) remain a significant challenge, primarily because instruction is dominated by conventional methods that limit student engagement and hinder their involvement in analysis and evaluation. This study examines the application of the CORE (Connecting, Organizing, Reflecting, Extending) learning model as an innovative alternative strategy to enhance students' evaluative abilities. The purpose of this research was to determine the effect of the CORE model on PAI learning outcomes at SMP Negeri 1 Bandar Lampung. Employing a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design and a post-test only control group, the sample was selected through simple random sampling. The C5 cognitive test instrument used was validated and reliable. Results indicated a significant difference between the experimental and control groups (p = 0.001), demonstrating that the CORE model effectively improves fiqh learning outcomes, particularly students' evaluative skills. This finding contributes to the advancement of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) by integrating Qur'anic principles and socio-religious contexts, encouraging students to critically and reflectively connect fiqh concepts with Qur'anic values and everyday religious life.

Abstract

The main background of this research is the low analytical ability of students (cognitive level C4) in Islamic Religious Education at Junior High School 1 Jati Agung. Lack of activity, low learning independence, and the prevalence of conventional learning methods with minimal innovation trigger this phenomenon. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the ICARE (Introduction, Connection, Application, Reflection, Extension) learning model as a transformative strategy in significantly improving student learning outcomes. This study uses a quantitative approach with a post-test-only control group design. The research sample was determined through a simple random sampling technique, which was divided into a control class (VII A) and an experimental class (VII B). Data was collected through a multiple-choice test instrument specifically designed to measure the analysis indicator (C4). Data analysis techniques include normality tests, homogeneity tests, and t-tests to verify differences in average learning outcomes between groups. The research findings indicate that the implementation of the ICARE model has a significant impact on the transformation of student learning outcomes. This result is proven through statistical tests with a significant value of 0.001 (p < 0.05). ICARE syntax organizes real-life experiences with concept understanding, encouraging students to participate and think critically. This study offers Islamic Religious Education (PAI) educators’ new ways to create a dynamic and immersive learning environment. ICARE has been successful in transitioning from passive to outcome-oriented learning and accelerated cognitive development.

Abstract

Minat belajar peserta didik merupakan faktor penting dalam keberhasilan pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI), namun dalam praktiknya pembelajaran masih didominasi metode ekspositori yang cenderung membatasi partisipasi aktif peserta didik. Selain itu, penelitian yang mengintegrasikan pembelajaran kooperatif dengan pendekatan pembelajaran berdiferensiasi dalam konteks PAI pada pendidikan kejuruan masih terbatas. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pengaruh pembelajaran berdiferensiasi melalui model Inside Outside Circle (IOC) terhadap minat belajar PAI peserta didik. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain quasi-experimental post-test only control group. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari 60 peserta didik kelas XI SMK Negeri 1 Kotabumi yang dibagi menjadi kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol. Data minat belajar dikumpulkan melalui angket yang telah memenuhi kriteria validitas dan reliabilitas. Analisis data dilakukan melalui uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, dan independent sample t-test, serta dilengkapi dengan analisis effect size menggunakan Cohen’s d untuk mengetahui kekuatan pengaruh perlakuan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya perbedaan yang signifikan antara kedua kelompok (p < 0,05), dengan rata-rata minat belajar kelompok eksperimen sebesar 70,20 dan kelompok kontrol sebesar 51,43. Perhitungan effect size menghasilkan nilai Cohen’s d sebesar 3,96 yang menunjukkan kategori pengaruh sangat besar. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa integrasi pembelajaran berdiferensiasi dengan model IOC secara signifikan dan kuat meningkatkan minat belajar peserta didik. Oleh karena itu, strategi ini dapat menjadi alternatif pedagogis yang efektif untuk menciptakan pembelajaran PAI yang lebih interaktif, adaptif, dan berpusat pada peserta didik, khususnya pada konteks pendidikan kejuruan.

Abstract

article aims to determine the effect of implementing the RADEC (Read, Answer, Discuss, Explain, and Create) model on student learning outcomes in the subject of Islamic Religious Education and Character Education (PAI-BP). This article employs a quantitative approach, utilizing a quasi-experimental method with a post-test-only control group design. The research subjects were seventh-grade students at SMP Negeri 7 Mesuji Lampung. The experimental class implemented the RADEC model, while the control class used the Direct Instruction model. The research instrument consisted of a multiple-choice test that had been validated and was reliable. The results of the normality test indicated that the data were not normally distributed; therefore, data analysis was conducted using the nonparametric Mann–Whitney test. The results of the hypothesis test showed an Asymp. Sig. (2-tailed) value of 0.001 (p < 0.05), indicating a significant difference in learning outcomes between the experimental and control classes. This implies that the implementation of the RADEC model has a significant impact on improving student learning outcomes in the PAI-BP subject, particularly in terms of higher-order thinking skills at level C5 (Evaluation) in Bloom’s Taxonomy. Artikel ini bertujuan mengetahui pengaruh penerapan model RADEC (Read, Answer, Discuss, Explain, and Create) terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik pada mata pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam dan Budi Pekerti (PAI-BP). Artikel ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode quasi eksperimen melalui desain post-test only control group. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 7 Mesuji Lampung. Kelas eksperimen menerapkan model RADEC dan kelas kontrol menggunakan model Direct Instruction. Instrumen penelitian berupa tes pilihan ganda yang telah diuji validitas dan reliabilitasnya. Artinya, penerapan model RADEC berpengaruh signifikan dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran PAI-BP, khususnya pada kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi level C5 (Evaluasi) dalam Taksonomi Bloom.
