Abstract

Infrastructure development in Indonesia continues to increase from the village scale to the national and even international scale. There are so many areas that we usually refer to as "villages" that also need to be changed, developed, and managed to provide an increase in the aesthetic value of the environment. The village becomes the specialty of an area within an area, where the village with its uniqueness can be better known and admired by many people. The existence of Asem Payung village must have special characteristics to support the activities of residents in the neighborhood. This village is still very lacking in terms of environmental management, so it looks good in terms of aesthetics. The dividing wall is unsightly and looks shabby so it needs further improvement. The method used in this community service activity is a qualitative descriptive method. An environment that is not clean and looks shabby is the main problem in this environment. In addition, it is necessary to monitor and evaluate and assist the surrounding community in the concept of gotong-royong to improve the aesthetics of the environment and make it look even better. The expected result in the Asem Payung village area is to be better in the aesthetic appearance of the environment by being filled with mural paintings with educational themes. So that this area turns out to be a place for visits or tours to arrange a neat and clean environment far from the impression of slums.

Abstract

The area of open land in the City of Surabaya is decreasing from year to year. This is influenced by the number of settlements and housing that have begun to emerge and develop, thus increasing the population level in an area. Humans are by nature social creatures. Can not be separated from other individuals and need each other. Individual someone indirectly lives together with the surrounding environment. This is what triggers that each individual must be social to one another. However, along with the times and technological advances today, many individuals often forget this and think more about their respective interests. Time to gather and meet face to face with neighbors, chat with each other directly or with the surrounding environment is also very minimal. Broadly speaking, the Babatan Pilang community is individual. The background to the problems that have been previously described is the basis for this community service to be able to provide input to the community of Babatan Pilang RT. 003 RW 005. The purpose of this community service is to help the community or housing residents to restore and create a social society. This community service program is carried out by creating and arranging common spaces for socializing.

Abstract

In 2019, the country of Indonesia experienced a period of the Covid-19 virus pandemic, which prompted the government to make new policies to prevent the spread of Covid-19. Since 2020, Indonesia has implemented a normal and health protocol called 5M (the mandatory wearing of masks, mandatory washing of hands with soap and running water, obligatory distancing, avoiding crowds, and limiting mobilization and interaction). Protecting the environment, building village public facilities, and re-implementing health protocols are one of the steps in preventing the spread of the Covid-19 virus and producing a healthy environment. By using the method of interaction between residents related to the covid-19 virus, this activity is expected to be able to prevent the spread of the covid-19 virus and produce a healthy environment. This community service activity carried out spraying of disinfectants, fogging, distribution of masks and antiseptic handwashing soap, making hand washing stations, and also painting roads to beautify the village..

Abstract

The Gebang Putih area is a fairly densely populated settlement because each residence does not have an open yard. The activities of the youth or local residents are limited to gathering at locations outside the RW 003 environment. The results of observations and interviews with community leaders in RT. 02, it was found that residents of RW 003 needed a place for sports activities, gatherings, and discussions for residents of RW 003. The purpose of this community service was so that residents had a new activity center that was able to accommodate gathering, exercise, and socializing activities. This community service is expected to enable residents to carry out activities in a sustainable manner around their homes, thereby creating a friendly atmosphere and increasing a sense of brotherhood and harmony among residents. Community service activities carried out were utilizing the sewer side as a place for sports activities, and discussions for residents of RW 003. The method used was an observation, and interviews with the chairman of RW 003 and also residents of 003 Asem Umbrella. As a result of this community service, Asem Payung RW 003 village has infrastructure for joint activities between residents, such as ping pong, table tennis, or a gathering area.

Abstract

Sekolah alam merupakan konsep pendidikan yang mengintegrasikan lingkungan sebagai bagian dari proses belajar, sehingga menciptakan pengalaman ruang yang erat dengan alam. Pendekatan multisensori dalam arsitektur, sebagaimana dikemukakan oleh Peter Zumthor, menekankan bagaimana elemen-elemen arsitektur dapat membangkitkan pengalaman inderawi yang mendalam, menciptakan suasana yang kaya akan makna, dan memperkuat keterhubungan antara manusia dengan ruang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi penerapan prinsip multisensori Peter Zumthor dalam desain Sekolah Alam, dengan fokus pada elemen materialitas, pencahayaan alami, suara, aroma, dan tekstur ruang. Sekolah alam yang akan digunakan sebagai objek pengecekkan prinsip Peter Zumthor adalah sekolah alam yang berada pada Pulau Jawa, Lebih spesifiknya ada di kota Surabaya, Yogyakarta, Malang dan Krian. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif, mencakup observasi lapangan, dan wawancara serta analisis terhadap elemen arsitektural yang terkait dengan prinsip Peter Zumthor. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan prinsip multisensori dalam Sekolah Alam dapat meningkatkan kualitas pengalaman belajar siswa, menciptakan ruang yang lebih intuitif, nyaman, serta merangsang eksplorasi dan kreativitas. Elemen-elemen seperti penggunaan material alami, keterbukaan terhadap lingkungan, dan keberlanjutan desain berperan penting dalam mendukung prinsip multisensori yang diusung oleh Peter Zumthor. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi bagi perancangan sekolah berbasis alam yang lebih humanis dan memperkaya pengalaman belajar berbasis inderawi.
