Abstract

Implementation in the process of electing the student council president involves information technology using the electoral system as learning for students who practice democracy directly. Activities, especially the election of the Student Council chairperson, still use media assisted by simple information, namely in the form of sheets of paper, and are still not effective. The problem faced requires a new motivation that is easier to guide information on the election of the Student Council chairperson in Palembang City Senior High School as well as minimizing information fraud in the election and facilitating the election of the Student Council chairperson. This study introduces the E-Voting Website to Student Council Palembang City by bringing up the idea of implementing the Student Council chairman election by utilizing development information.

Abstract

The presence of coal mining has resulted in landscape change, reduced soil fertility, threats to biodiversity, reduced water quality, reduced air quality and environmental pollution. This service aims to understand and track awareness of dirty coal energy use in Palembang, one of the oldest cities, as the lack of understanding of coal's impact on local communities has led to a very serious disease outbreak. A coal-producing city in Indonesia. The approach used was to educate the community on the impacts of coal. Through these socialization activities, public awareness of the impacts can be obtained.

Abstract

The existence of economic problems in accessing formal education and the low awareness of the community of the importance of protecting the surrounding environment, so this study aims to explain how the perception of community empowerment towards the utilization of waste as a means of paying for education at Junjung Birru Kindergarten. Located on Jalan Demak 2 Ulu, Tuan Kentang Village, Jakabaring Sub-district, close to the slum area of Palembang City. The method used in this research is a qualitative approach using interview data collection techniques, data analysis, observation and recording. The source of data obtained was the results of interviews with the driver of Junjung Birru School Palembang City. The results showed that Junjung Birru School is a kindergarten school that focuses on increasing hygiene awareness in the community by implementing a waste payment system to help and reduce the burden on parents in paying monthly school fees. The school was established in 2007. The school was initially established because the founder of Junjung Birru School felt anxious and concerned about the amount of organic and non-organic waste that was carelessly thrown away in the community.

Abstract

Analisis dampak kenaikan bahan bakar minyak terhadap driver online di kota Palembang. Tujuannya mengetahui bagaimana cara menyelesaikan masalah pendapatan driver online dan dampak dari adanya kenaikan BBM kota Palembang pada tahun 2022. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan pendekatan teori ojek online dan BBM dan data kuesioner. Sumber data merupakan hasil kuesioner dari para driver online grab, gojek, maxim yang ada di kota Palembang. Hasil penelitian menujukkan bahwa driver online merupakan nafas kehidupan, karena sangat bergantung pada pendapatan tarikan, ini menjadi dasar bagi para mitra pengemudi untuk bekerja lebih giat, dengan kenaikan harga bahan bakar minyak membuat para ojek online tersiksa. Para pengemudi ojol, memprotes akan manfaat dan penghematan biaya dari aplikator yang melebihi batas Departemen Perhubungan. Maka dampak, menurunnya pendapatan driver online seperti kenaikan tarif yang diterima hanya sekitar Rp800, dan hanya dibayar Rp10.400, semula Rp9.600, untuk mengangkut penumpang dalam jarak 4 kilometer sebelum harga BBM naik, hanya membutuhkan bensin Rp 20.000 untuk bekerja seharian dan perliter pertalite bisa untuk dipergunakan mengangkut penumpang 3 sampai 4 kali.

Abstract

Stunting merupakan permasalahan yang sangat serius, karena dapat mempengaruhi kualitas SDM (Sumber Daya Manusia) di suatu negara, Indonesia sudah mengatur bagaimana pencegahan Stunting dalam Peraturan Presiden No. 72 tahun 2021 tentang percepatan penurunan Stunting, Kecamatan Sukarami Kota Palembang salah satu Kecamatan yang menindaklanjuti Perpres tersebut dalam Surat Keputusan Camat Sukarami Kota Palembang Nomor 080/SK/2023 tentang dalam rangka percepatan penurunan Stunting Kecamatan Sukarami tahun 2023. peineilitian ini beiruijuian uintuik mendapatkan pemahaman yang lebih mendalam mengenai bagaimana program “OReO PACK” di kecamatan Sukarami Kota Palembang dalam mengurangi Stunting. Metode yang di gunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Metode Studi Kasus deingan Peindeikatan Kuialitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa program “OReO PACK” dalam menangani Stunting di Kecamatan Sukarami Palembang sudah berjalan dengan baik sesuai dengan Surat Keputusan Camat Sukarami Kota Palembang Nomor 080/SK/2023 tentang dalam rangka percepatan penurunan Stunting Kecamatan Sukarami tahun 2023 dengan melibatkan para Doantur Rumah makan yang ada di Kecamatan Sukarami, tetapi dalam pemberian pack makanan menu yang di berikan masih belum disesuaikan untuk anak-anak, menjadikan pack makanan yang di berikan yang seharusnya bertujuan untuk menaikan berat badan anak agar ideal menjadi kurang maksimal.

Abstract

This journal discusses the management of organic waste which is converted into compost planting media in a short time, only in one second at the Buddhi Gardens of the New Culture Center, Talang Buluh, Banyuasin Regency. This study aims to explain the process of processing household waste into compost and used as a planting medium that is useful for life, as well as reducing waste generation, especially in Palembang City. The research method applied is a qualitative method with a case study and descriptive approach. The research instruments used included interviews, direct observation, documentation, and researchers as the main instruments. The data source used is the results of interviews with the founder, admin, and workers of Kebun Buddhi. The results of the study show that the waste problem is still an unresolved issue in Indonesia and the world, especially in the city of Palembang which produces around 1,180 tons of waste per day. Kebun Buddhi is here as an innovation to overcome this problem by managing organic waste to become a compost planting medium in a short time which is useful to improve the quality of plants and reduce the negative impact of organic waste on the environment and health. Apart from that, Kebun Buddhi also plays a role in educating the public about managing organic waste to become compost planting media, as part of efforts to support sustainable and environmentally friendly waste management programs.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the policy of increasing fuel oil that is still hitting Indonesia. Representation which is one of the responses to form a collective movement that expresses a high level of concern about certain issues. Collective action can achieve the common goal of fighting an organized and powerful authority. This study aims to find out how the students of Palembang City represent in realizing the collective movement against the increase in fuel oil policy by using quantitative methods to find responses in responses or representations of the increase in fuel oil policy. Data was collected from Palembang City students using the slovin formula so as to get 100 respondents in student representation, using three indicators that affect representation, namely; economy 0.363 percent, social media 0.410 and attitude change 0.456 percent. Changes in attitudes in the representation of Palembang City students in realizing collective movements greatly influenced the policy of increasing fuel oil with the highest percentage of 0.456.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana implementasi Bantuan Pangan Non Tunai (BPNT) di Kecamatan Gandus, Kota Palembang dalam meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi, dokumentasi, dan kuesioner.Kemudian hasil analisis dan temuan di lapangan dari penelitian ini menggunakan teori menurut David C Korten (1988), yang terdapat tiga indikator yaitu program, pemanfaat dan organisasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa program BPNT berhasil menyalurkan bantuan tepat waktu, dalam kondisi baik, dan sesuai dengan jumlah yang dijanjikan. Namun, terdapat beberapa kendala seperti perbedaan identitas antara penerima dengan data Kementerian Sosial dan keluhan terkait jumlah bantuan yang dianggap kurang serta harga pangan yang tidak sesuai dengan standar. BPNT memberikan kontribusi positif dalam menyejahterakan keluarga dengan penghasilan rendah, meskipun masih ada beberapa keluarga yang memerlukan perhatian lebih. Keputusan yang diambil oleh Kementerian Sosial dalam proses implementasi BPNT berjalan dengan baik, dengan Dinas Sosial berperan sebagai pengawas dan pengevaluasi program. Namun, diperlukan wewenang lebih luas untuk memudahkan penentuan penerima bantuan yang tepat. Keterbatasan dalam kapasitas organisasi Dinas Sosial menyebabkan adanya kesenjangan dalam sistem distribusi bantuan. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan penguatan verifikasi dan validasi penerima bantuan oleh Dinas Sosial untuk memastikan program BPNT berjalan lebih efektif dan tepat sasaran. Secara keseluruhan, implementasi BPNT di Kecamatan Gandus telah memberikan dampak positif dalam meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat miskin, namun masih perlu perbaikan dalam beberapa aspek agar bantuan dapat tersalurkan lebih efektif dan tepat sasaran.

Abstract

Sexual violence against women and children in Palembang City continues to increase, encouraging the emergence of women's movements such as the Women's Crisis Center (WCC) Palembang, which focuses on the issue of violence against women. This research aims to assess the effectiveness of WCC Palembang's role in advocating for victims of sexual violence and identifying the obstacles faced. This research uses a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach, with data obtained through observation, interviews and documentation. The subjects in this research comprised three sources: the Executive Director, the Supporting Staff, and the WCC Palembang Program Coordinator. After the data is collected, it is analyzed in three stages: data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The research results show that even though there are internal obstacles, such as limited funds and human resources, WCC Palembang is effective in advocating for victims of violence and plays an active role in collecting data on the National Commission on Violence against Women's CATAHU. WCC Palembang has also made a significant contribution to dealing with sexual violence in Palembang City.

Abstract

The main objective of this research is to determine the level of urgency of transparency implemented by the Palembang City KPU in the process of updating voter data and compiling voter data in the 2024 elections. In this thesis the researcher uses qualitative methods, by obtaining data through interview, observation and documentation techniques. The results of this research show that using transparency theory according to Asmoro which includes 4 indicators, namely financial condition, institutional management, operational performance and institutional ownership. In this case, it was found that the Palembang City KPU did not routinely publish financial reports related to updating voter data, due to obstacles such as regional voter borders, the formation of polling station boundaries and a very large budget which could hamper the holding of the election. The transparency that has been carried out by the Palembang City KPU in the process of updating voter data and compiling the voter list can reduce the risk of incidents occurring in the process. By ensuring that all stages are carried out openly and can be published by the public, it will be difficult for irresponsible parties to manipulate data or processes. By carrying out the process openly, the public can monitor and ensure the integrity of all stages of the election. This can build public confidence that elections will take place fairly and democratically, as well as prevent discrimination against citizens who meet the requirements but have difficulty registering.
