Abstract

This study is intended to develop assessment instrument by using Proprofs website for the evaluation of learning for first grade students of SMK Kreatif Hasbullah Jombang. This research uses Research and development (R&D) research methods and adapts ADDIE development model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). The results obtained from this development research are as follows: (1) The result of media validation is 4,1 (fair category), 2) The result of material validation is 4,5 (fair category). Based on the results, researcher concluded that Proprofs is deserved to be applied after going through a revision process to evaluate learning at SMK Kreatif Hasbullah, especially in evaluating the reading ability of English language learning.

Abstract

The Microcontroller-based Smart Light Socialization Program for Village Apparatus aims to introduce smart technology that can improve the efficiency of electrical energy use in rural areas. This Smart Light system uses a microcontroller integrated with light sensors and motion sensors to automatically turn lights on and off, according to environmental conditions. The approaches or methods used in community service activities include Participatory Action Research (PAR). In this case, students conduct direct research in Kepuhrejo Village to implement the knowledge they have gained in the village community. This PAR is transformative and empowers the community. In addition, this community service activity also uses the Service Learning (SL) method, where in its implementation it directly involves the participation of participants, namely the target audience in this activity so that the Microcontroller-based Smart Light Introduction work program is created. This program has succeeded in increasing village apparatus awareness of Smart Light technology and its benefits in energy efficiency and environmental safety.

Abstract

This study aimed to assess the effectiveness of SmallTalk2Me as a learning tool, identify obstacles during its implementation, and investigate the role of SmallTalk2Me as an English speaking learning media at MTs Pesantren Al-Amin Sooko Mojokerto. This study used a mixed-methods approach, and data were collected from 26 male students through an English speaking test, observation, interviews, and questionnaires. The results showed a significant improvement in students' speaking skill, though the effectiveness was limited by technical challenges such as unstable internet and noise in the classroom. Students preferred a blend of AI tools and traditional teaching methods. The study highlighted the potential of SmallTalk2Me in enhancing English speaking but recommended addressing infrastructure issues and incorporating longer implementation periods. Further research was suggested to focus on the long-term impact of AI-powered tools in language learning. Keywords: SmallTalk2Me; AI; Speaking Skill; The Effect.

Abstract

This research aimed to examine the effectiveness of the Elsa Speak application as a learning media to improve students’ English-speaking skills in the extra class at MA Al-Bairuny. The research used a quasi-experimental design with two groups: an experimental group taught using the AI-based Elsa Speak application, and a control group taught without the application. The research began with a pre-test to assess students’ speaking abilities. The average pre-test score of the experimental group was 57.33, while the control group had an average of 61.67. During the treatment, the experimental group practiced speaking using Elsa Speak, which offers features such as pronunciation analysis and instant feedback. The control group continued learning through traditional methods without the application. After the treatment, a post-test was conducted. The experimental group showed significant improvement with an average score of 70.00, increasing by 12.67 points. Meanwhile, the control group showed only slight progress, with an average post-test score of 62.33, an increase of just 0.67 points. The results indicate that Elsa Speak is effective in improving students’ pronunciation, fluency, and confidence. This research highlights the potential of AI-based technology to enhance the quality of English language education in the digital era.

Abstract

This study aims to (1) Determine the development of E-comic media on the subject of Aqidah Akhlaq for class X. (2) To determine the results of student learning on E-comic media on the subject of Aqidah Akhlak for class X. The method used in this study is the Research and Development (R&D) research method, which was developed using the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation)  model. The resulting product is validated by media experts and material experts, to determine the feasibility of the learning media before being tested. The results of this study obtained a score of 92% in material validation and 91% in media validation, which means that this learning media is categorized as "very feasible" to be tested. Student learning outcomes are assessed using the assessment report result which produce a score of 90% anad student response result of 92% with the category "very interesting". Thus, the E-comic learning media in the subject of Aqidah Akhlak class X, is categorized as very feasible to be used in learning and students are very interested in using it

Abstract

Training to learn the Al-Qur'an properly and correctly plays an important role in improving children's understanding of Islamic teachings. This training program aims to equip children with the ability to read, understand, and apply the Al-Qur'an properly. The approach method used in the community service activities of this community partnership program includes the SL (Service Learning) method. This method is an approach that connects learning with real experiences in the community. With an interactive and fun approach, this training not only improves the technical ability to read the Al-Qur'an but also instills children's love for the holy book and Islamic teachings. The results of the training showed a significant increase in children's ability to read the Al-Qur'an and their understanding of the content and meaning of the verses read. This study highlights the importance of good and correct religious education from an early age to form a strong character and religious understanding.

Abstract

This research was conducted with the aim of knowing the process and the effect of using beelinguapp to reading comprehension ability of 41 students of SMK PGRI Ploso. The research method used was pre-experimental design with the type of one-group pretest-post test design and using a quantitative research approach. The test instrument is in the form of multiple choice questions and essay of pre test and post test descriptions to measure reading comprehension, from the results of the total pre-test scores obtained 1910 while the results of the total post test scores 3235, while the data analysis technique used is hypothesis testing. But before testing the hypothesis, the data obtained was first tested for normality. Based on the results of the data normality test with shapiro-wilk, the pretest results have a significance value of 0.189 and the posttest results have a significance value of 0.191. The normality test is normal. Based on the calculation of the paired sample t-Test it shows that the t value of 0.000 with a significance of 0.000. The significance value shows 0.000 < the error rate of 0.05, so it can be concluded that Ha is accepted. Acceptance of Ha means that there is a positive effect on The Effectiveness of Using Beelinguapp on Reading Comprehension of X Grade Student’s at SMK PGRI Ploso.

Abstract

The advancement of digital technology demands innovation in the learning process to prevent it from becoming monotonous and disengaging. One of the key issues in the teaching of Islamic Cultural History (Sejarah Kebudayaan Islam or SKI) at the Madrasah Aliyah level, particularly on the topic of the Abbasid Dynasty (Daulah Abbasiyah) is the overreliance on lecture-based methods, which results in low student enthusiasm. This study aims to develop Canva-based learning media that is engaging, interactive, and tailored to student needs. The method used is Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE model, consisting of the stages of Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The research subjects were 26 eleventh-grade students at Madrasah Aliyah Al-Bairuny. Instruments included expert validation questionnaires and student response questionnaires. Validation results showed a score of 79% from media experts and 85% from content experts, categorized as “Appropriate.” The student trial yielded an average score of 88.6%, classified as “Very Good.” The study concludes that Canva-based learning media is effective in increasing student motivation and understanding of the Abbasid Dynasty material. The implications suggest that this media can serve as an innovative alternative for SKI learning and a reference for developing similar media in other subjects.

Abstract

Entrepreneurship is one of the important factors in strengthening the Indonesian economy, especially through the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) sector which has proven to be resilient in facing the global crisis. Kepuhrejo Village, Jombang Regency, has abundant natural potential, such as tamarind and spices, but has not been optimally utilized. Through a community service program, students carry out training to maximize this natural potential in order to develop traditional herbal medicine-based products that can improve the local economy. This activity aims to build community interest in entrepreneurship, provide innovation in the utilization of local resources, and create sustainable business opportunities. The method used is Community Based Research (CBR), involving local communities in training in making herbal medicine products from natural ingredients. The results of the activity show an increase in community awareness of the potential of the surrounding nature and the ability to create products of high economic value. This program has succeeded in contributing to the development of MSMEs in kepuhrejo Village, as well as opening up wider and more sustainable business opportunities for the local community.

Abstract

ABSTRACT The aim of this research is to design learning media named SEGA (Speaking English Games) to help mentally disable students of 7thgrade Junior High School at SLB Muhammadiyah Jombang. This research focuses on student’s vocabulary mastery by using games as learning media. The research method used is Research and Development (R&D). This development used ADDIE model which consist of: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The research result was got through the process of need analysis, material validation, media validation, and students’ responses. To collect the data, researcher used observation, interviews, and questionnaire. The result average material validation got 92% and it was in “Very Good” category, while the result average media validation got 92,5% and it was in “Very Good” category. Subject of this research was mentally disable students in 7thgrade Junior High School at SLB Muhammadiyah Jombang. The students’ responses of tried out result got 95% was in “Very Good” category. Based on those result, it can be concluded that SEGA (Speaking Eglish Games) learning media is feasible or deserved to be used as learning media to improve students’ vocabulary mastery.  KEYWORDS: Learning media, SEGA, mentally disable student, Junior high   ABSTRAK Tujuan penelitian ini adalah merancang media pembelajaran SEGA (Speaking English Games) untuk membantu siswa tuna grahita kelas 7 SMP di SLB Muhammadiyah Jombang. Penelitian ini berfokus pada penguasaan kosakata siswa dengan menggunakan permainan sebagai media pembelajaran. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (R&D). Pengembangan ini menggunakan model ADDIE yang terdiri dari: Analisis, Desain, Pengembangan, Implementasi, dan Evaluasi. Hasil penelitian diperoleh melalui proses analisis kebutuhan, validasi materi, validasi media, dan respon siswa. Untuk mengumpulkan data, peneliti menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dan angket. Rata-rata hasil validasi materi memperoleh nilai sebesar 92% dan masuk dalam kategori “Sangat Baik”, sedangkan rata-rata hasil validasi media memperoleh nilai sebesar 92,5% dan masuk dalam kategori “Sangat Baik”. Subyek penelitian ini adalah siswa tunagrahita kelas VII SMP di SLB Muhammadiyah Jombang. Respon siswa terhadap hasil uji coba diperoleh 95% berada pada kategori “Sangat Baik”. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa media pembelajaran SEGA (Speaking Eglish Games) layak atau layak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran untuk meningkatkan penguasaan kosakata siswa.  KATA KUNCI: Media pembelajaran, SEGA, Siswa Tunagrahita, SMP
