Abstract

Matematika merupakan pelajaran yang diajarkan dari tingkat Sekolah Dasar hingga Perguruan Tinggi. Matematika diajarkan guna mengajarkan kepada siswa ubtuk berpikir logis, mencari hubungan, serta berpikir kretaif. Penelitian dilaksanakan di Universitas Musamus jurusa Pendidikan Guru Sekolah Dasar dengan subjek penelitian berjumlah 63 mahasiswa. Adapun materi yang dipilih yakni penjumlahan bilangan bulat. Penelitian menunjukkan apabila mahasiswa masuk dalam kriteria sedang dalam penguasaan konsep penjumlahan bilangan bulat diakibatkan kurang pemahaman mengenai penjumlahan bilangan bulat.

Abstract

Training is a form of Community Service or Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (PKM) carried out by lecturers. The target of the training is students with weight conversion material. The stages carried out are taking care of the PKM implementation permit, preparing the place as well as the tools and materials needed in the training, and implementing PKM. Weight conversion is interpreted as the weight of units between units having the same value. Weight conversion must be mastered by students as prospective teachers so that media creation training is needed. The training was held in March 2025 at Building 1.3, Musamus University. The results of the weight conversion training were that students were able to use weight conversion media and explain the conversion method in detail. The benefits obtained were that lecturers could share knowledge and experience in developing weight conversion media; for students, the benefits obtained were being able to make weight conversion media, becoming one of the media used when teaching, increasing creativity, and better communication skills.

Abstract

Creative thinking skills emphasize ways of thinking so that students are able to face problems in the future. One of the subjects that can develop creative thinking skills is mathematics. Each student has their own way of learning mathematics, such as looking at diagrams. The ability to obtain information relying on the sense of sight is known as the visual learning style. The research aims to analyze thinking abilities in 3 categories, namely high, medium and low in visual learning style students. The research was conducted on 35 class IVA students with 3 research subjects representing each category of creative thinking ability. The results of the research show that students with a visual learning style with high creative thinking meet 3 of the 4 indicators, while students with a moderate creative thinking style, especially with a visual learning style, do not meet the indicators of creative thinking ability due to lack of accuracy in calculations, while students with a visual learning style with low creative ability do not meet all the thinking indicators. creative because they have not been able to take steps to solve it so the calculations are not correct.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPA, khususnya pada materi gaya, melalui metode eksperimen. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IV SD Negeri Cenderawasih Spadem Merauke pada tahun ajaran 2022/2023. Penelitian ini dilakukan menggunakan metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang melibatkan dua siklus, dengan masing-masing siklus terdiri dari tiga pertemuan. Setiap siklus mencakup tahapan perencanaan, tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan dalam aktivitas belajar siswa dan hasil belajar. Pada siklus I, aktivitas guru mencapai 79% dan aktivitas siswa sebesar 70%, dengan rata-rata hasil belajar siswa sebesar 59%. Pada siklus II, aktivitas guru meningkat menjadi 94%, aktivitas siswa menjadi 92%, dan rata-rata hasil belajar siswa mencapai 87%, yang telah memenuhi ketuntasan klasikal. Peningkatan ini menunjukkan bahwa metode eksperimen efektif dalam memfasilitasi pemahaman konsep gaya dan mendorong keterlibatan aktif siswa selama pembelajaran. Metode eksperimen dapat dijadikan alternatif dalam pembelajaran IPA untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar dan keaktifan siswa.

Abstract

Number bond is defined as a number bond meaning the separation of numbers into smaller values. There are similarities in the number bond principle with the calculations used by the Marind Tribe, Merauke, South Papua which is the background of the research. The purpose of the research is to develop a number bond book with an ethnomathematics approach with the intention of making mathematics easy to understand for students without eliminating the cultural elements and mathematical knowledge that students bring to school. The research uses the research and development (RnD) method through the planning and design stages. The results of the research show that the draft book consists of 3 chapters including chapter 1 containing the meaning, benefits, and how to teach number bond; chapter 2 describes ethnomathematics, the relationship between mathematics and culture, and the benefits obtained when studying ethnomathematics; and chapter 3 discusses the Marind Tribe, the Marind language, and Number bond in the Marind language.
