Abstract

This study aims to analyze how much public distrust of the Makassar City government is in dealing with the Covid-19 outbreak. This study not only examines how the information exposure process occurs but also analyzes the perceptions and impacts caused by the exposure process. We collected information through field interviews with 10 informants, literature studies such as journals, books, official websites, and reliable news portals. Data collected through observation includes information on the number of people infected, recovered, and died, as well as government operations related to Covid-19 (lockdown, rapid tests, and reporting of humanitarian aid affected by Covid-19). The results showed that at first, the pandemic made the community obedient and obedient to government policies, but various incidents such as forced pick-up of bodies suspected of being infected with the COVID-19 virus but health workers were unable to show the final results of the tests, the lack of availability of health-protective equipment for paramedics also created seeds of distrust. society on government policies, so that people hold resistance in the form of disobedience to government policies. In this study, two approaches are recommended for the government to be able to restore public trust, the two components are openness and competence. This component can be used as a consideration for the government to restore public trust which is already disappointed with various confusing policies that seem to be not in favour of the community.

Abstract

The advent of the Covid-19 pandemic has engendered multifaceted repercussions encompassing the economic, social, and psychological dimensions of coastal towns. In response, a proactive and concerted effort is imperative to cultivate a resilient society capable of withstanding the adversities posed by the Covid-19 pandemic. This necessitates the systematic integration of coastal communities through a scientific approach. This research elucidates the intricate interplay between social capital, apprehensions regarding Covid-19, and their combined influence on the determinants of community engagement. By means of an online survey, a cohort of 303 urban communities residing in the coastal regions of Palu-Donggala actively partook in this investigation. The outcomes of this study underscore the discernible impacts of both social capital and Covid-19-related concerns on the level of participation exhibited by coastal communities. The empirical insights gleaned from this study are poised to serve as a foundational resource for diverse stakeholders engaged in formulating interventions and policies aimed at augmenting community involvement within coastal enclaves. It is essential to acknowledge that further research endeavors are warranted to comprehensively discern the array of predictors underpinning and the far-reaching consequences of participatory behavior within coastal communities.

Abstract

Abstract- WHO has deemed the Covid-19 pandemic to be a regional outbreak, Indonesia is one of the pandemic nations. This paper seeks to see the capacity of the world to cope with the global pandemic and the provision of resources through the supply chain policy. Here, we analyse the supply-chain effects of a set of idealized lockdown scenarios, using the latest global trade modelling framework. We find that supply-chain losses that are related to initial COVID-19 lockdowns are largely dependent on the number of countries imposing restrictions and that losses are more sensitive to the duration of a lockdown than its strictness. There are three essential topics in this paper: 1) the sense of urgency; 2) the national government's legislative and structural supply chain policy’s; and 3) the pandemic regional headquarters. The data collection is carried out through scientific journals, online news, reports, and academic forums with public policy and health experts. The findings of this paper indicate that Indonesia is still in difficulty in coping with a global pandemic in the context of the international crisis. Likewise, at the beginning of the outbreak in Indonesia, the system of contact between central and regional representatives seems to be not well organized.

Abstract

This research will focus on testing theoretical models that state that there is a collaborative relationship to organizational performance after Covid-19 in the city of Palu. Researchers test theoretical models to understand the consistency of theories so that they can be used as new scientific findings. This study uses quantitative research techniques with regression analysis techniques. The results of the study reveal the gap between the planned and implemented outcomes, this study also shows what service aspects of the community's view are effective in servants so that it will help identify and improve potential problems.
