Abstract

Factors influencing employee performance are a big concern for businesses in an increasingly dynamic workplace. Tenure and educational attainment are key factors in raising labor productivity. While tenure-based experience enables employees to develop competence, adaptability, and effectiveness in completing their tasks, education provides the fundamental knowledge and skills required for the job (Noe, 2020). However, without sufficient work experience, education alone is insufficient. Tenure permits individuals to comprehend company culture, strengthen technical and interpersonal abilities, and improve efficiency in completing their jobs (Robbins & Judge, 2019). Therefore, when developing human resource management strategies, businesses must have a thorough understanding of how these two factors affect employee performance. This research aims to determine the significant influence between education level and length of service on employee performance partially and simultaneously for employees of the Grand Sahid Jaya Hotel Jakarta. This research design is causal using primary data obtained from the results of the questionnaire. The population in this research was all 50 employees. The data analysis technique used in this research uses a questionnaire method, for data processing using statistical software SPSS Version 28. The research results show that education level and length of service influence employee performance partially and simultaneously.

Abstract

Make Over is a premium local cosmetic brand widely known for its product quality and frequent collaborations with beauty influencers. Sales of Make Over products still lag behind those of other local brands, such as Wardah. This study aims to provide empirical evidence regarding the influence of product quality, beauty influencers, and brand image on consumer purchasing decisions for Make Over products in the Jakarta area. This study used a quantitative approach, with a small population and a sample of 230 respondents. Data collection was conducted through questionnaires, and the analysis method used was Structural Equation Modeling (SEM-PLS). The results showed that the three independent variables of product quality, beauty influencers, and brand image had a positive effect on purchasing decisions. Brand image had the most significant influence, indicating that a strong, consistent brand perception is crucial in shaping consumer purchasing behavior. The managerial implications of these results are that Make Over needs to ensure product quality remains the main attraction for consumers, select credible beauty influencers who match the characteristics of the target market (those who have used Make Over products and are aged 20-35 years), and strengthen the brand image through consistent visual communication and promotions

Abstract

This study presents the results of an analysis of scientific trends and developments related to resilience and employee well-being during the period 2020–2025, encompassing 225 articles, 214 keywords, and 622 authors, with particular attention to issues concerning social dynamics and political demonstrations. This research aims to (1) map the development of publications and citation trends related to resilience and employee well-being; (2) identify the most influential authors, countries, and research collaborations; (3) evaluate the main themes and shifts in research focus throughout the study period; and (4) assess the extent to which resilience and employee well-being are linked to the context of political demonstrations in the global literature. This study employs a bibliometric approach, reviewing publication counts, citation trends, geographical distribution of research, and dominant themes. The results indicate an increase in the number of publications from 25 articles in 2020 to 48 articles in 2024, followed by a slight decrease in 2025 (45 articles). Citation trends declined from an average of 33.6 in 2020 to 1.36 in 2025, reflecting a time lag in the accumulation of scientific impact. The most prominent topics include employee well-being and well-being, followed by burnout, job satisfaction, and employee engagement. These findings illustrate that employee resilience and well-being have become a matter of international concern and that research specifically examining the relationship between the two and political demonstrations remains limited. In practical terms, this study recommends the need for organizational strategies and public policies that improve mental health support, work flexibility, and employee well-being holistically.

Abstract

This study investigates the influence of digital transformation and transparency on ZISWAF (Zakat, Infaq, Sadaqah, and Waqf) payment decisions and their subsequent impact on millennial loyalty, with a focus on LAZISMU DKI Jakarta. Employing a quantitative, associative research approach, data were collected from 150 millennial respondents through structured questionnaires. Structural Equation Modeling using Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) was applied for data analysis. The results demonstrate that digital transformation significantly affects both payment decisions and user loyalty, while transparency does not directly influence payment decisions but contributes to loyalty. Furthermore, ZISWAF payment decisions are shown to have a positive and significant effect on millennial loyalty. These findings underscore the strategic importance of service digitization and transparent fund management in enhancing youth engagement and long-term donor commitment in Islamic philanthropic institutions.
