Abstract

Pelaksanaan sosialisasi dalam meminimalisir Ketakutan akan Kegagalan (Fear of Missing Out) dan Ketakutan akan Kegagalan (Fear of Failure) dalam upaya untuk meningkatkan Keberhasilan akademik peserta didik (Academic Success) terutama dalam kondisi pasca Pandemi Covid 19.  Pelaksanaan sosialisasi dilaksanakan pada 18 September 2023 yang bertempat di Kota Banjarbaru, Kalimantan Selatan. Dengan jumlah peserta didik sebanyak 25 orang. Setelah cara-cara atau kiat-kiat meminimalisir Ketakutan akan Ketertinggalan (Fear of Missing Out) dan Ketakutan akan Kegagaglan (Fear of Failure) di berikan oleh Narasumber, Tim pelaksana membagikan kuesioner terkait Ketakutan akan Ketertinggalan dan Ketakutan akan Kegagalan yang dikembangkan oleh Tim sesuai dengan konteks dan kondisi terkini di Indonesia, terutama dalam kondisi Pasca Pandemi Covid. Peningkatan rasa takut akan ketertinggalan (FoMO) dan rasa takut akan kegagalan (Fear of Failure) yang tinggi dapat terlihat dari hasil dari pengukuran dalam kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini. Dengan cara-cara hingga metode yang diberikan selama sosialisasi yang didapatkan dari para peneliti sebelumnya (DinÇer, Saygin, Karadal, 2022; Scott, 2019; Lieberman, 2019; Berna, 2020; Collins, 2020) maka diharapkan membantu para peserta sosialisasi dan peserta didik lainnya dalam mengurangi rasa takut akan ketertinggalan (Fear of Missing Out) dan rasa takut akan kegagalan (Fear of Failure) sehingga mampu meningkatkan kinerja akademik di sekolah.

Abstract

Abstract: Bullying behavior still occurs in various parts of the world, including in Indonesia, until now. This bullying behavior had a negative impact, namely emotional and behavioral disturbances for both bullies and victims of bullying. The purpose of this research was to explore the factors that influence bullying behavior; psychological dynamics of perpetrators and victims of bullying as well as psychological dynamics of academic motivation development interventions in self-compassion in minimizing bullying behavior. This research is a literature study. The research procedure included reading theories related to academic motivation, self-compassion, academic motivation in self-compassion, bullying behavior, predictors of bullying, psychological dynamics of academic motivation in compassion in minimizing bullying. The results of this study were the factors that cause bullying behavior is a lack of moral knowledge about bullying behavior and its effects; parenting style that is too authoritarian and permissive; justification for bullying in schools. There were many negative impacts on bullying behavior, starting from emotional and behavioral disturbances in bullying perpetrators, which were related to aggression and emotional and behavioral disturbances in bullying related to low self-esteem, stress, depression, difficulty adapting, and even attempted suicide in victims of bullying. One of the interventions to minimize bullying behavior was by developing academic motivation in self-compassion to minimize bullying. Abstrak: Perilaku bullying masih terjadi di berbagai belahan dunia termasuk di Indonesia, hingga saat ini. Perilaku bullying ini memberi dampak yang negatif yakni gangguan emosi dan perilaku baik pada pelaku bullying maupun korban bullying. Tujuan penulisan artikel ini adalah melakukan studi literature terkait dengan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi perilaku bullying; dinamika psikologis pelaku dan korban bullying serta dinamika psikologis intervensi pengembangan motivasi akademik dalam self-compassion dalam meminimalisir perilaku bullying. Penelian ini merupakan penelitian studi literature. Prosedur penelitian ini meliputi membaca teori berkaitan dengan motivasi akademik, self-compassion, motivasi akademik dalam self-compassion, perilaku bullying, prediktor bullying, dinamika psikologis motivasi akademik dalam compassion dalam meminimalisir bullying. Hasil penelitian ini adalah Faktor-faktor yang menyebabkan perilaku bullying adalah kurangnya pengetahuan moral tentang perilaku bullying dan dampaknya; pola asuh orang tua yang terlalu otoriter dan permisif; pembenaran bullying di sekolah. Banyak dampak negatif dalam perilaku bullying mulai dari gangguan emosi dan perilaku pada pelaku bullying yakni berkaitan dengan agresi dan gangguan emosi dan perilaku pada bullying terkait dengan rendah diri, stress, depresi, susah beradaptasi, bahkan percobaan bunuh diri pada korban bullying. Salah satu intervensi untuk meminimalisir perilaku bullying dengan mengembangkan motivasi akademik dalam self-compassion untuk meminimalisir bullying.

Abstract

Learning using e-learning during the Covid-19 pandemic has made the learning system in schools online. The learning system causes the intensity of our eyes to see the screen to increase which causes an increase in the number of myopia sufferers. Myopia is one of the health problems that can cause blindness. Therefore, we wrote this article to examine the impact of using e-learning during the Covid-19 pandemic on the high number of people with myopia. This article uses the literature review method through journals that are relevant to the topic discussed. The results of this study prove that the number of myopia sufferers increased by 59.35% during the Covid-19 pandemic. The implementation of lockdown makes the learning system carried out using online e-learning methods make us stare at gadget screens beyond the capacity of our eyes which causes a reduction in the sharpness of our eyes. In addition, reduced activity outside the home leads to an increase in the number of diopters associated with the development of myopia symptoms. In patients with myopia, there is a longer axial length that adds to the effect of secondary ocular sequelae, making a person experience eye disorders that are difficult to cure. Abstrak Pembelajaran menggunakan e-learning selama pandemi Covid-19 membuat sistem belajar di sekolah menjadi online. Sistem pembelajaran tersebut menyebabkan intensitas mata kita melihat layar meningkat yang menyebabkan bertambahnya angka penderita miopi. Miopi merupakan salah satu gangguan kesehatan yang dapat menyebabkan kebutaan. Maka dari itu, artikel ini kami tulis untuk mengkaji dampak penggunaan e-learning selama pandemi Covid-19 terhadap tingginya angka penderita miopi. Artikel ini menggunakan metode literature review melalui jurnal-jurnal yang relevan dengan topik yang dibahas. Hasil dari penelitian ini membuktikkan bahwa angka penderita miopi bertambah sebesar 59,35% selama pandemi Covid-19. Penerapan lockdown membuat sistem pembelajaran dilakukan menggunakan metode e-learning secara online membuat kita menatap layar gadget melebihi kapasitas mata kita yang menyebabkan berkurangnya ketajaman mata kita. Selain itu, berkurangnya aktivitas di luar rumah menyebabkan peningkatan pada jumlah dioptri yang berhubungan dengan perkembangan gejala miopia. Pada pasien dengan miopi terdapat panjang aksial yang lebih panjang sehingga menambah efek gejala sisa okuler sekunder sehingga membuat seseorang mengalami gangguan mata yang susah disembuhkan.

Abstract

The expansion of social media platforms has made it easier for people to present themselves online. However, this self-presentation is often carried out by displaying only the most favorable aspects of oneself, with little consideration for authenticity. Such behavior becomes a form of faking tendency aimed at gaining advantage through curated self-presentation. This tendency may alter and influence an individual’s self-concept as they attempt to stay aligned and consistent with the image they present on social media. Yet these alterations cannot change the fact that their online persona may remain far removed from their actual identity. A total of 10 articles were included in this review. The methodology began with a selection of studies based on their basic characteristics and relevance to the topic. Second, all selected articles were summarized and reviewed. Third, the information gathered from the review was synthesized, including the effects of self-presentation on self-concept, the processes of self-concept alteration, and the faking tendencies that may emerge during these processes. Overall, this article outlines several potential directions for future research.
