Abstract

This study analyzes the role and character of educators in children's character education based on the Qur'an, focusing on Surah Luqman verses 13–17. Using a qualitative content analysis approach, the research explores the educational messages in the verses and their implications for addressing contemporary moral and spiritual development challenges. Primary data sources include the Qur'an and classical and modern tafsir works, supported by secondary references such as books, journals, and scholarly articles. The findings identify two core character values emphasized in the verses—religiosity and communicativeness—which are fundamental foundations for shaping children's ethical, social, and spiritual growth. The analysis further underscores the comprehensive role of parents and educators, encompassing knowledge preparation, compassionate nurturing, moral guidance, and effective communication that integrates firmness with empathy. Essential educator traits highlighted in the study include religiosity, patience, diligence, and communicative competence, central pillars of holistic character education. The study concludes that embedding these Qur'anic principles into educational practice provides a relevant and comprehensive framework for strengthening children's moral reasoning, spiritual awareness, and social responsibility, thereby offering solutions to the current decline in educational integrity and character values.

Abstract

The aim of this study was to determine the implementation and the symbolic meaning of the Ari Kaut tradition at the Eid al-Adha celebration and also to understand the reason why the Ari Kaut tradition could strengthen the community harmonization in Lilinta Village. This research is qualitative with using social phenomenology paradigm. The procession was started with Takbir and taking the alms from the congregation which has become a common habit. The acts of Syar’a judge in managing the celebration of Ari Kaut tradition was his responsibility as a religious figure so the norm and religious value on the tradition which carried out are still maintained. Cultural preservation on the Ari Kaut tradition was shown by the acts of the community according to their expertise such as making meat Qurban together to be served which is a habit that existed for a long time. Panpon as a religious symbol has a meaning to increase togetherness among the community. Eid al-Adha celebration was accompanied by traditional dances which are effective to be used to preserving culture.

Abstract

Penelitian ini memaparkan pemikiran Imam Al-Ghazali dalam bidang ekonomi yang dijadikan prinsip dan patokan dasar tentang penerapan sistem ekonomi Islam di Indonesia. Artikel ini bertujuan menganalisis pemikiran ekonomi Islam menurut Imam Al-Ghazali dan melihat relevansi dengan konteks saat ini, khususnya Indonesia. Artikel menggunakan penelitian kualitatif yang bersifat studi kepustakaan. Data-data diambil dari buku, jurnal, laporan penelitian, dan sumber-sumber lain mengenai permasalahan yang dibahas yaitu tentang pemikiran ekonomi Islam menurut Imam Al-Ghazali. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan ekonomi harus berjalan sesuai dengan syariat Islam demi kemaslahatan. Secara umum pemikiran ekonomi Imam Al-Ghazali membahas tentang peranan negara dalam membangun ekonomi seperti dalam aspek makro dan mikro perekonomian. Penerapan sistem ekonomi di Indonesia memaparkan bahwa di dalam kegiatan ekonomi harus berpegangan penuh terhadap Al-Qur’an dan Sunnah sebagai acuan serta pedoman untuk mencapai perekonomian berbasis syariah, seperti pengimplementasian akad-akad hukum ekonomi syariah di perbankan syariah terhadap larangan riba dan penimbunan uang yang menjadikan perekonomian tidak stabil.
