Abstract

The learner-centred learning model (SCL) has been released by the government with a variety of syntax examples at every level of education and provides enough space for modification, innovation and creativity, but not many schools have done it. Regarding the lack of training in the application of the student center learning learning model, which causes the lack of planning as outlined in the lesson plans in schools so that there is no clear reflection that is suitable for implementation in elementary schools in the city of Tarakan. The method of implementing the activities is carried out online and for the implementation of Lesson Study, activities are carried out offline but only in a smaller capacity. The targets and targets in these problems are as follows: 1) Brainstorming the application of the SCL model; 2) Assistance in making online-based plans, do, see; 3) Monitoring and evaluation of Learning Loss; 4) Formation of WhatsApp Groups with SCL Model content in schools. The results found during the service, namely: 1) Training on the application of learning models needs to be studied considering the development of science and how to get information; 2) The readiness of the participants to take part in the workshop is quite good; 3) Some of the participants were actively consulted via WhatsApp Groups; 4) Participants are able to work on assignments according to the specified time starting from identifying the SCL model to applying it according to offline and online learning media.

Abstract

This study analyzes the global development and research trends of bi-model media in science education using a bibliometric approach. Data from the Scopus database were processed with Biblioshiny and VOSviewer to identify the conceptual structure, thematic clusters, and emerging directions. The results show that e-learning, virtual reality, and students are dominant themes driving a shift toward interactive and learner-centered education, while artificial intelligence, machine learning, and social media form the foundation for developing data-driven adaptive learning systems. The thematic and keyword network analyses indicate a growing transition toward a hybrid framework that integrates technology, pedagogy, and human experience. The findings highlight the importance of aligning pedagogical design with intelligent technological support to create meaningful, adaptive, and context-based learning experiences. Although limited to a single bibliographic source, this study contributessignificantly to mapping the research landscape of bi-model media and offers insights for future studies on AI-based integration, learning analytics, and equitable access to digital education in the 21st century. Unlike previous bibliometric studies that broadly examine digital or technology-enhanced learning, this work uniquely foregrounds the emerging concept of bi-model media, providing a sharper lens to understand how dual-mode representations shape scientific understanding and instructional innovation.

Abstract

Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan literasi sains siswa sekolah dasar melalui pengenalan konsep bioteknologi konvensional, khususnya peran fermentasi asam laktat dalam proses pembuatan tempe. Seringkali, pembuatan tempe hanya dipahami sebatas peragian jamur (Rhizopus sp.), padahal tahapan fermentasi asam laktat saat perendaman kedelai memegang peranan vital dalam menciptakan kondisi asam untuk menghambat bakteri patogen. Kegiatan pengabdian dilaksanakan di SD Negeri 016 Tarakan. Metode pelaksanaan menggunakan pendekatan Project Based Learning (PBL) yang meliputi sosialisasi, demonstrasi, dan praktik langsung pembuatan tempe. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan tingkat keberhasilan produk sebesar 83%, di mana 5 dari 6 sampel tempe berhasil terfermentasi dengan baik. Kegagalan terjadi pada satu sampel di kelompok dengan anggota terbanyak (9 siswa), yang dianalisis akibat faktor kontaminasi dan kurangnya sterilitas. Meski demikian, pemahaman siswa dinilai sangat baik dengan rata-rata nilai Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik mencapai 88,5. Kegiatan ini menyimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran berbasis praktik efektif untuk menanamkan pemahaman konsep ilmiah dan melatih sikap ilmiah siswa dalam memecahkan masalah.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan: (1) perbedaan kemampuan memecahkan masalah antara siswa yang belajar menggunakan model Problem Based Learning (PBL) dengan model pembelajaran langsung; (2) perbedaan kemampuan memecahkan masalah antara siswa yang memiliki kemampuan akademik sedang dan tinggi; (3) interaksi antara model PBL dengan model pembelajaran langsung pada siswa yang memiliki kemampuan akademik sedang dan kemampuan akademik tinggi terhadap kemampuan memecahkan masalah. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan yaitu eksperimen semu dengan populasi seluruh siswa kelas V SDN 006 Tarakan. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan teknik cluster purposive sampling. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan meliputi Uji Normalitas, Uji Homogenitas, dan Uji Hipotesis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) tidak terdapat perbedaan kemampuan memecahkan masalah antara siswa yang belajar menggunakan model PBL dengan siswa yang belajar menggunakan model pembelajaran langsung. (2) terdapat perbedaan kemampuan memecahkan masalah antara siswa yang memiliki kemampuan akademik sedang dan siswa yang memiliki kemampuan akademik tinggi. (3) terdapat interaksi antara model model PBL dengan model pembelajaran langsung pada siswa yang memiliki kemampuan akademik sedang dan kemampuan akademik tinggi terhadap kemampuan memecahkan masalah.
