Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis bentuk persuasif dalam kumpulan video blog kecantikan. Data dalam penelitian ini adalah tuturan dari tiga naravlog kecantikan dalam satu konteks pembahasan yang sama. Data dianalisis menggunakan metode analisis pragmatik fungsional. Hasil pembahasan dalam penelitian ini menunjukkan adanya konsistensi, otoritas, dan pembuktian dari penutur untuk memersuasi penonton. (1) Bentuk tuturan konsistensi terlihat pada saat penutur menunjukkan keadaan sebenarnya tentang sesuatu. Konsistensi adalah sarana utama memperoleh tujuan bertutur. (2) Bentuk kedua adalah otoritas yakni wewenang penutur membuat aturan. Aturan tersebut dibuat untuk mendapatkan kepatuhan terhadap sasaran persuasi. (3) Bentuk ketiga adalah pembuktian, yakni cara menimbulkan kesan yang dilakukan penutur kepada lawan tutur. Cara tersebut menimbulkan kesan bahwa produk yang ditawarkan banyak peminatnya.

Abstract

Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dominasi penggunaan struktur percakapan pada video transaksi jual beli yang dilakukan oleh Habib Husein Ja’far Al Hadar dengan penjual toko kelontong yang berasal dari Madura. Video tersebut termuat pada kanal youtube “Jeda Nulis” episode filosofi toko kelontong Madura. Urgensi penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui dominasi struktur percakapan pada penggunaan dua bahasa atau lebih seperti Indonesia dan Madura. Pendekatan yang dilakukan menggunakan kualitatif deskriptif. Data dikumpulkan dengan cara teknik simak catat. Teknik analisis dengan menggunakan teknik pragmatik fungsional dengan menukarkan beberapa unsur dan diklasifikasikan sesuai kebutuhan. Hasil penelitian yang ditemukan bahwa dominasi struktur percakapan ditemukan pada penggunaan bahasa Madura dengan 11 data sedangkan pada penggunaan bahasa Indonesia terdapat 9 data yang mencakup unsur jeda, gilir bicara, backchannel, dan pasangan ajasensi kecuali overlaps. Secara keseluruhan struktur percakapan pada video berisi tentang a) jeda panjang sebagai bentuk kesenyapan perpindanhan tuturan, b) pelanggaran gilir bicara yang lebih banyak mengambil kesempatan petutur (memotong) pembicaraan yang belum usai, c) backchannel (isyarat tubuh) dilakukan sebagai bentuk persetujuan terhadap pernyataan dengan menganggukkan kepala, d) overlaps (tumpang tindih) terjadi disebabkan ketidakteraturan dalam gilir bicara, dan e) pasangan ajasensi sebagai bentuk interaksional dalam keseharian. This study aims to describe the dominance of the use of conversational structures in video buying and selling transactions conducted by Habib Husein Ja'far Al Hadar with grocery store sellers from Madura. The video is uploaded on the youtube channel "Juda Nulis" episode of the philosophy of the Madura grocery store. The urgency of this research is to determine the dominance of conversational structures in the use of two or more languages such as Indonesian and Madurese. The approach taken is using descriptive qualitative. Data was collected by means of note-taking technique. The analysis technique uses functional pragmatic techniques by exchanging several elements and classified according to needs. The results of the study found that the dominance of conversational structure was found in the use of Madurese with 11 data while in the use of Indonesian there were 9 data which included elements of pauses, shifts, backchannels, and ajasensi pairs except for overlaps. Overall the structure of the conversation in the video contains a) long pauses as a form of silence for speech transfer, b) violations of speech shifts that take more opportunities for interlocutors (cut off) unfinished conversations, c) backchannel (gestures) made as a form of approval of statements by nodding the head, d) overlap (overlapping) occurs due to irregularities in speaking shifts, and e) adjacency pairs as an interactional form in everyday life.

Abstract

This qualitative study investigated the verbal use of teacher symbols in a classroom Indonesian at a private university in Surabaya, Indonesia. Anchored by qualitative analysis and followed by two female teachers and five Indonesian Department students, the data was collected through interviews and in-depth observation. It was designed to find out what types of pragmahypersemiotic verbal symbols teachers use in the classroom, as well as the extent to which pragmahypersemiotic verbal symbols contribute to student feedback in class. Using the analytical lens of verbal symbol power in the classroom, the research findings show that the type of verbal power teacher symbol used in the classroom is the symbol of Directive, Request, and enticement. However, verbal symbols can have a positive impact on student feedback because students can participate actively in class, and can build motivation and confidence when interacting with both teachers and classmates.

Abstract

During the learning process in class, the teacher has indirectly given orders to his students that are educational and pragmatic imperatives in their speech. The purpose of this study is to describe the form of educational imperatives in the speech of teachers of SMAN 1 Kwanyar Bangkalan. This research approach is a sociopragmatic approach. This research method is a qualitative research method. This research data uses qualitative data in the form of data transcriptions from documentation results containing educational imperative forms in the form of words and sentences in a speech by a teacher of SMAN 1 Kwanyar Bangkalan. This qualitative data is intended to describe the form of educational imperatives in the speech of teachers of SMAN 1 Kwanyar Bangkalan. The source of this research data was 3 teachers of SMAN 1 Kwanyar Bangkalan and involved 33 students. Data is taken between January-March 2023. This research data collection technique uses documentation techniques, interviews, field notes. Data analysis was performed with Huberman's version of data. This study concluded that the form of educational imperative in the speech of teachers of SMAN 1 Kwanyar Bangkalan was assertive, directive, and expressive. This educational imperative mode is because teacher statements tend to function to state, inform, report, and demand. Next, the educative impertive findings are directive mode because teacher statements tend to function as commanding, instructing, inviting, and suggesting. Educational imperative is expressive mode because teacher statements tend to function mocking, congratulating, praising, and saying thank you. Impertive educative directive mode teacher statements do not function to instruct, plead, require, coerce, borrow, and interrupt. Thus, assertive, declarative, and expressive speech is used for the teaching and learning process that has educational value from each teacher's imperative. The educative imperative of teacher speech provides education to be mutually responsible for their obligations, motivate, remind, value time, measure self-ability, help the incapable, and encourage.

Abstract

Kalimantan dikenal sebagai wilayah yang kaya akan sumber daya alam. Di bawah permukaannya, tersimpan berbagai mineral dan hasil tambang bernilai tinggi seperti batubara dan emas. Selain itu, hutan Kalimantan yang lebat menjadi habitat bagi beragam jenis tumbuhan yang dapat dimanfaatkan untuk menunjang kehidupan masyarakat, khususnya suku-suku asli yang tinggal di pedalaman, seperti suku Dayak. Namun, kekayaan ini menarik perhatian berbagai pihak, termasuk para konglomerat yang, atas nama perusahaan dengan izin pemerintah seperti HPH (Hak Pengusahaan Hutan) dan HTI (Hutan Tanaman Industri), melakukan eksploitasi besar-besaran terhadap sumber daya alam tersebut. Aktivitas ini telah membawa dampak negatif yang signifikan, baik terhadap ekosistem maupun terhadap kehidupan masyarakat adat di pedalaman Kalimantan. Fenomena ini menjadi fokus dalam karya fiksi Korrie Layun Rampan, khususnya novel Api Awan Asap dan kumpulan cerpen Tarian Gantar, yang menggambarkan kehancuran lingkungan serta penderitaan masyarakat adat akibat keserakahan dalam eksploitasi sumber daya alam. Untuk memahami dan mengkaji karya-karya ini, penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan teori ekokritik dengan perspektif ekoposkolonialisme, yang berfokus pada konsep ekoimperialisme (ecological imperialism). Kajian ini mengidentifikasi tiga dimensi utama dari ekoimperialisme dalam karya tersebut, yaitu: pandangan dualistik (dualistic thinking) antara masyarakat adat dan konglomerat terhadap lingkungan, biokolonisasi (biocolonization), serta rasisme lingkungan (environmental racism).

Abstract

Aphasia, a complex communication disorder resulting from brain damage, causes difficulties in understanding and using language. The phenomenon of bilingual aphasia is challenging due to its complexity in understanding and rehabilitating language disorders. In the globalization era, the dual-speaking population's growth is increasing. However, our understanding of bilingual aphasia is still limited. Therefore, in-depth and systematic research is needed to guide bilingual aphasia's diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation. This study used a rigorous literature review method, with a thematic search and analysis of relevant studies on bilingual aphasia. Symptom profiles, risk factors, pathophysiology, and rehabilitation strategies were comprehensively reviewed. The thematic analysis of the literature revealed diverse symptom profiles in individuals with bilingual aphasia and associated risk factors and pathophysiological mechanisms. In addition, this study examined effective rehabilitation strategies appropriate to the characteristics of bilingual aphasia. This research has important implications in neurolinguistics and aphasiology, improving the accuracy of diagnosis, development of appropriate interventions, and effective rehabilitation planning. The results make valuable contributions to clinical practitioners, researchers, and educators in providing better care and support for individuals with bilingual aphasia. In addition, this study also enriches our understanding of the complexity of language and the brain-language connection at large.

Abstract

Upacara pernikahan tidak hanya sekadar sebuah pesta yang menampilkan hiburan dan sajian makanan yang nikmat. Akan tetapi, sebuah upacara pernikahan memiliki makna dan doa untuk kedua pengantin serta keluarga dari kedua mempelai. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan prosesi pernikahan adat Jawa khususnya pada tradisi temu manten. Selain itu, penelitian ini juga mendeskripsikan makna filosofis di bali tradisi temu manten dan uborampe yang digunakan pada prosesi tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Data berupa tata cara dan perlengkapan tradisi temu manten yang dilakukan oleh masyarakat Jawa. Sumber data pada penelitian ini didapatkan dari observasi upacara penikahan masyarakat suku Jawa. Terdapat tujuh prosesi yang dilakukan pada tradisi temu manten ini, yaitu Iring-Iringan Pengantin, Balangan Gantal, Wiji Dadi, Sindur, Dulangan, Kacar- Kucur, dan Sungkeman. Semua prosesi tersebut memiliki makna dan doa agar pengantin mendapatkan perlindungan serta dapat hidup berdampingan dengan sejahtera. Selain itu, uborampe yang digunakan dalam temu manten ini menandakan bahwa masyarakat Jawa menginginkan seorang anak yang berumah tangga menjalankan rumah tangganya dengan penuh ketaatan, tanggung jawab, terbebas dari marabahaya, dan tetap hormat kepada orang tua meski sudah berumah tangga

Abstract

PKM yang berjudul ”Pelatihan Penulisan Artikel Ilmiah dan Artikel Populer Untuk Guru SMP di Surabaya Barat” ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman/pengetahuan para guru SMP di Surabaya Barat tentang artikel ilmiah dan populer serta meningkatkan kemampuan menulis artikel ilmiah dan populer yang sesuai aturan yang benar. Target PKM ini adalah guru-guru SMP di wilayah Surabaya Barat. Metode yang digunakan adalah pemberian materi dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode ceramah dari para pemateri. Metode selanjutnya yaitu melalui tanya jawab. Kemudian, untuk prosedur pelaksanaan pelatihan ini dapat dibagi menjadi beberapa tahap yaitu tahap persiapan, tahap pelaksanaan, tahap penutup, serta tahap evaluasi. Dari hasil evaluasi didapatkan hasil bahwa artikel peserta tidak memilki kesamaan atau bukan plagiat dari artikel lain seyelah dilakukan cek plagiarisme namun dalam hal kebahasaan masih terdapat beberapa kesalahan dalam ejaan dan penulisan kata

Abstract

The movie “Sundel Bolong” highlights the struggle of women in a patriarchal society through the character of Alisa, who faces moral and social dilemmas after becoming pregnant out of wedlock. Her transformation into Sundel Bolong illustrates an attempt to achieve existential freedom, despite having to pay with stigma and ostracization. This article uses a qualitative approach to analyze the value of feminism in the film, highlighting how women are portrayed as victims of the patriarchal system through experiences of sexual violence and betrayal. The film not only presents a horror story, but also offers insight into women's struggle against oppression, highlighting the duality of women as “angels” and “monsters” and criticizing traditional gender roles. Sundel Bolong's retaliation against her abuser becomes a symbol of resistance to patriarchy, while the theme of women's loss of existential freedom is central to the narrative.

Abstract

This research aims to reveal resistance strategies to form humor in Cak Silo Cs' Dhagelan YouTube content. The research data source is the YouTube content of Cak Silo Cs episode Cak Silo Jualan Pentol which was uploaded on March 22 2020. The object of research is lingual units which indicate resistance. Next, listening and interpreting were carried out and explained descriptively qualitatively and analyzed using the functional pragmatic method. The research results show that the resistance used only includes three forms of the four existing forms. 1) reactance by mocking with reasons that are not commonly used, and saying clearly "no" or "don't" accompanied by reasons that are not commonly used. 2) distrust expressed by "don't want" accompanied by reasons that are not commonplace/ 3) supervision expressed by giving suggestions, asking and agreeing accompanied by an explanation of the refusal.
