First-year university students experience transition periods from high school to college level. Despite academic needs, first-year students in the COVID-19 pandemic also face new challenges, such as different peer networks, financial changes, and adaptation. Since resilience is defined as the ability to adapt successfully to pressure and challenges, it is essential to determine what psychological factors contribute to enhancing it. One of the factors related to life adaptation is optimism. Hence, this study aims to observe the relationship between optimism and resilience among university students. The sample comprised 420 first-year students from the UIN Suska Riau (Pekanbaru). Participants completed the CD-RISC Scale and Life Orientation Test (LOT-R). This study performed a linear regression analysis and captured that optimism explained 14.6% of resilience (R²= .146, β=48.163). Thus, identifying the factor influencing students’ adjustment to college life can develop an intervention to help students face this life transition.

Fraction is one of the difficult topic for students. One way to reduce students’ difficulties is to implement Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) by integrating Islamic values such as Sacrifice Worship (Ibadah Kurban). In addition, the use of technology to integrate sacrificial worship in fraction learning is also expected to increase students' interest in learning in the 21st century and can improve students' understanding. Therefore, it is necessary to develop an e-module for learning fractions through RME with the context of Sacrifice worship. The developed e-module contains learning trajectories, live worksheets, videos, and post-tests. This type of research is research and development which follows the stages of Plomp, especially in the prototyping and assessment stages. The instruments in this study were validation sheets. The validators consisted of one mathematics education lecturer and two Banda Aceh City junior high school teachers. Based on the validity test it was concluded that the e-module meets the valid criteria. The implication of this research is the development of e-modules needs to be continued to test practicality and effectiveness.

This research aims to analyze the strategies implemented by UNFPA in 2018-2022 in overcoming the problem of teenage pregnancy in Sierra Leone in order to achieve a reduction in fertility rates at the age of 19-15 years. Sierra Leone is one of the countries in West Africa that has the highest teenage pregnancy rate in the world. The problem of teenage pregnancy in Sierra Leone is largely caused by poverty, low education and minimal access to contraception. This research uses qualitative methods with data collection techniques through books, journals and documents originating from official websites. This research uses a pluralism perspective and international organization theory. The results of this research show that UNFPA has issued strategies, namely ensuring the provision of contraceptives, empowering teenagers and adding comprehensive sexuality education to the curriculum, and ending dangerous practices. In this case, UNFPA shows a decrease in the fertility rate at the age of 15-19 years, namely 98/1000 in 2022. Keywords: UNFPA, Teenage Pregnancy, Sierra Leone

This research was carried out to uncover and understand the role of self-leadership in the team-building process at UPTD Tahura Bukit Soeharto using a descriptive qualitative approach. The research subjects and main data sources focused on the head of UPTD Tahura Bukit Soeharto and the forestry police team. Various techniques applied to collect data were interviews, observations, and documentation.The result showed that in the context of self-leadership and team-building efforts at UPTD Tahura Bukit Soeharto, the head of UPTD applied five sources of strength namely personal strength, knowledge, relationships, influence and resources. This shows that leadership strength does not depend on the position or title, but rather on how a leader utilizes the various strengths to inspire, motivate, and build a solid team.Furthermore, when facing various challenges faced by the team, the head of UPTD Tahura Bukit Soeharto acts as a leader who provides emotional support to his members and encourages flexibility, which contributes to increasing the team's resilience. This results in team members feeling more secure and supported, so they can deal with difficult situations and find innovative solutions. With this support, a strong bond is created between team members, which is important for maintaining enthusiasm and motivation in achieving common goals.

Developing learning tools is a skill that a teacher needs to master. In this case, learning English requires material appropriate to real-life, called Communicative Language Teaching (CLT) so that the language mastered by students is the language that is applied in everyday life, including the use of songs. Although many studies have explored songs for English language learning, the integration of Islamic songs in English classroom activities has not been widely discussed. Therefore, this research aims to investigate the viewsand practice of prospective English teachers on the integration of Islamic songs. The method used is a qualitative approach involving analyzing online interviews and teaching module documents prepared by prospective teachers. The results show that the consideration for selecting songs expressed by the prospective teacher is based on three orientations, namely pedagogical, psychological, and cultural. Regarding the worksheet design, participants prefer giving fill-in-the-blank format as the main assessment in measuring students' level of understanding. This research implies that CLT is good for EFL class, so the pedagogical knowledge possessed by prospective teachers need to be fostered, particularly in selecting the appropriate content of the song and adjusting it to create various communicative and meaningful activities for EFL learners.

The role of educational resource management in improving the quality of education at Tahfidz Al-Quds Samarinda Kindergarten, focusing on three main aspects: human resource management, facilities and infrastructure, and financing. These three aspects are important foundations in supporting the achievement of the Al-Qur'an memorization program at the PAUD level. The approach used is qualitative descriptive with a case study method. Data were obtained through observation, in-depth interviews with the principal, teachers, and parents of students, as well as curriculum documentation and school reports. The results of the study indicate that human resource management is carried out selectively with ongoing training, facilities and infrastructure sufficiently support tahfidz and Montessori learning, despite limited open space, and financing management is carried out transparently and accountably. These three aspects have been proven to contribute positively to improving the quality of education, such as student memorization, Islamic character, and learning independence. The novelty of this study provides an integrative picture of the importance of structured resource management in supporting the quality of early childhood Islamic education, as well as being an example of good practice for similar PAUD institutions.

Older adults are prone to cognitive decline, which impacts their quality of life. While origami therapy is known to improve concentration and fine motor skills, studies on its effect on cognitive function in older adults remain limited. As a non-pharmacological intervention, origami folding offers cognitive stimulation through enjoyable activities. Objective to determine the effectiveness of origami therapy in improving cognitive function in an older adult with cognitive impairment. This study employed a case study design involving a 71-year-old resident of Griya Lansia Garut. The intervention was carried out in six sessions over a period of ten days. Cognitive function was assessed using a standardized cognitive assessment tool on the first and last day of the intervention. The client’s score increased from 18 to 22, which remains within the mild cognitive impairment category but indicates improvement. Enhancements were observed in the client’s ability to follow instructions, recall folding steps, name objects, and orient to time. These findings suggest that origami folding may help enhance cognitive funtion in older adults, particularly in attention, memory, and orientation. Further research with a larger sample size is recommended to explore the broader effectiveness of this intervention.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh Relationship Marketing dan Perceived Value terhadap Loyalitas Pelanggan pada PT. Agung Automall Cabang Sutomo Pekanbaru. Dalam menghadapi persaingan bisnis industri otomotif yang semakin ketat, perusahaan perlu membangun hubungan jangka panjang dengan pelanggan serta memberikan nilai yang dirasakan tinggi oleh konsumen. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan penyebaran kuesioner kepada 310 responden yang merupakan pelanggan PT. Agung Automall Cabang Sutomo. Variabel independen dalam penelitian ini adalah Relationship Marketing (dengan indikator trust, commitment, communication, dan conflict handling) dan Perceived Value (emotional value, social value, economic value, dan functional value). Sedangkan variabel dependen adalah Loyalitas Pelanggan (behavioral loyalty, attitudinal loyalty, dan cognitive loyalty). Data dianalisis menggunakan analisis regresi linier berganda dan diuji dengan uji t, uji F, dan koefisien determinasi (R²). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa baik Relationship Marketing maupun Perceived Value berpengaruh secara positif dan signifikan terhadap Loyalitas Pelanggan, baik secara parsial maupun simultan. Temuan ini mengindikasikan pentingnya menjaga hubungan dan menciptakan nilai pelanggan yang tinggi guna meningkatkan loyalitas di tengah persaingan pasar otomotif yang kompetitif.

Chronic renal failure patients undergoing haemodialysis therapy experience various conditions and require long-term care which can cause a burden on the families who care for patients. This family caregiver burden can affect the quality of life of both patients and family caregivers, and also affect the care provided to patients. The purpose of the study was to determine the description of caregiver burden in families with haemodialysis patients. This study is a quantitative descriptive study and the sample was taken using purposive sampling technique (n = 107) with the inclusion criteria of respondents as the main caregiver with family members undergoing haemodialysis therapy at RSUD Sumedang, and physically and mentally healthy. Exclusion criteria in the study were potential respondents who refused to participate and respondents who decided to stop in the middle of the study. The burden of caregivers on the family was measured using the Burden Scale for Family Caregivers Short Scale (BSFC-s) questionnaire with test results, namely r results (0.634) > r table (0.786) as well as Cronbach alpha value of 0.900 which means this questionnaire is valid and reliable. The picture of caregiver burden shows that almost half of family caregivers are in the high category (49.5%) and most experience heavy burden in the physical dimension. The results of this study are expected to be used as a reference for learning and evaluation for nurses, family caregivers, and educational institutions to be able to carry out effective interventions that can be carried out to reduce the burden of care experienced by family caregivers.
