Abstract

The production of superior, important and prospective horticultural products in Binjai City during the period 2010-2015 shows a fluctuating pattern. This happened not only in the vegetable commodity, but also in the fruit commodity group. The purpose of this study is to analyze the potential of superior fruit commodities in agribusiness and analyze the level of business feasibility of developing superior commodity commodities in agribusiness in the City of Binjai. Data uses primary and secondary data. The analysis tools used are Location Quotient (production value) and farm feasibility analysis (Revenue Cost ratio). The results showed that the fruit commodities which became the basic agricultural commodities in most districts in the City of Binjai were rambutan, mango, papaya, banana, guava, and breadfruit. Soursop commodity is a base fruit commodity in 4 sub-districts. Avocado, duku / langsat, guava, mango, pineapple, papaya, banana, rambutan and sapodilla commodity are fruit commodities in 3 districts. Star fruit, durian, guava, tangerine, jackfruit, snake fruit, breadfruit and yam bean commodities became commodity base fruits in 2 sub-districts. Value of Return Cost Ratio (RCR) obtained from rambutan farming is 29.10; water guava (honey guava) is 2.05 and yam is 3.63 per arable area / year. It can be concluded that rambutan, guava and yam farming are efficient and feasible to be cultivated.

Abstract

This research is Research and Development (R&D) research with the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation) development model developed by Lee & Owens. With data analysis techniques, namely qualitative and quantitative data obtained from product quality assessment questionnaires and hypothesis testing using one-way ANOVA. This research shows the level of suitability of the iSpring Suite 9 learning media in the subject of Islamic Religious Education, the average assessment by material experts is 4.61 indicating the "Very Appropriate" category, while the average score by media experts is 4.71, which is included in the "Very Appropriate" category. Very Worth It.” As for eligibility, teachers obtained an average of 4.57 in the "Very Appropriate" category, namely in the range 4.2 – 5.0. The results of hypothesis testing show results with a significance level of 0.000 ≤ 0.05. So, Ho is rejected and there is a significant difference between the learning outcomes of students who use the iSpring Suite 9 learning media and those who do not use the iSpring Suite 9 learning media in Islamic Religious Education subjects in improving student learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of the Make a Match and Picture and Picture learning models on students' Arabic learning outcomes. This research is a quantitative study using a quasi-experimental pretest-posttest control group design. The data collection technique used is: test. Data analysis requirements test techniques used are: data description, basic assumption test and classic assumption test. The sampling technique in this study used a purposive sampling technique. This study used three classes, namely two experimental classes and one control class. The results showed 1) there was an increase in students' Arabic learning outcomes after following the Make a Match learning model 2) there was an effect of the Make a Match learning model on students' Arabic learning outcomes 3) there was an increase in students' Arabic learning outcomes after following the Picture and Picture Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh model pembelajaran Make a Match dan Picture and Picture terhadap hasil belajar bahasa Arab siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif menggunakan desain quasi eksperimen pretest-posttest control group design. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu: tes. Teknik uji persyaratan analisis data yang digunakan yaitu: deskripsi data, uji asumsi dasar dan uji asumsi klasik. Teknik pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Penelitian ini menggunakan tiga kelas yaitu dua kelas eksperimen dan satu kelas kontrol. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan 1) terdapat peningkatan hasil belajar bahasa Arab siswa setelah mengikuti model pembelajaran Make a Match 2) terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran Make a Match terhadap hasil belajar bahasa Arab siswa 3) serta terdapat peningkatan hasil belajar bahasa Arab siswa setelah mengikuti model pembelajaran Picture and Picture

Abstract

Media power point berbasis animasi dapat menjadikan pelajaran lebih menarik dan dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik. Media video dapat mempermudah dan memperjelas proses daya serap peserta didik sehingga dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh media power point berbasis animasi dan Media video terhadap hasil belajar aqidah akhlak siswa di Madrasah Tsanawiyah Nurul Iman Ulu Gedong Kota Jambi. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif menggunakan desain quasi eksperimen pretest-posttest control group design. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu: tes. Metode analisis data adalah deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kelas eksperimen sebelum menggunakan media power point berbasis animasi didapatkan hasil pretest terendah 20, tertinggi 50, nilai rata-rata 36,45 dan standar deviasi 11.491, sedangkan setelah menggunakan media power point berbasis animasi didapatkan hasil posttest terendah 63, tertinggi 100, nilai rata-rata 82,25, dan standar deviasi 11.466. Pada kelas eksperimen sebelum menggunakan media video didapatkan hasil pretest terendah 20, tertinggi 60, nilai rata-rata 37,75, dan standar deviasi 12.736, sedangkan setelah menggunakan media video didapatkanlah hasil posttest terendah 60, tertinggi 100, nilai rata-rata 83,05, dan standar deviasi 12.800. Pada kelas kontrol pretest didapatkan hasil posttest terendah 30, tertinggi 73, nilai rata-rata 50,50, dan standar deviasi 13.233, sedangkan pada kelas kontrol posttest didapatkan hasil posttest terendah 33, tertinggi 77, nilai rata-rata 63,20, dan standar derivasi 13.379.Media power point berbasis animasi (X1) dan media video (X2) secara bersamaan memiliki pengaruh terhadap hasil belajar aqidah akhlak siswa (Y).

Abstract

Autism is one of the pervasive developmental disorders in which children express behavior that is unable to hold social interactions and as if they live in their world. The prevalence of children with Autism is increasing, and so therapy is needed to return the child to normal. Several studies say that play therapy can improve social aspects in children with Autism. This research is a literature review of 20 articles. Articles were searched through Google Scholar with the keywords play therapy, social elements, and Autism, and 20 articles that met the inclusion and exclusion criteria were selected. The results of a review of 20 articles stated an increase in social aspects in children with Autism through play therapy. There was a correlation from various studies related to the effect of increasing social elements in children with autism disorders through play therapy. There was an increase in social aspects in children with Autism through play therapy.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of using Arabic language modules developed for students of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah.  The material represented essential learning and was relevant to everyday life. This study uses Design and Development Research (DDR) with the ADDIE model. The effectiveness testing stage was carried out at MIS of Nurul Ijtihad Lubuk Gaung, Indonesia, involving ten third-grade student participants. Qualitative data comes from the validation of media, material, language, and teacher practitioner experts. Meanwhile, quantitative data is obtained from test results. Data were analyzed qualitatively, and quantitative data were analyzed using paired t-test analysis. The study results showed that this Arabic language module was feasible and well-used for teaching Arabic in elementary schools. It also shows the development of significant student learning outcomes using this module.

Abstract

Background: Anxiety often occurs in families who accompany patients during treatment in the ICU. This is because someone treated in the ICU is in a sudden, unplanned state. This causes stressors for patients and their families. Nurse intervention can reduce patient and family stressors by providing good health services and focusing on patient-caring behavior. Purpose: This research can explain the relationship between nurses' caring behavior and the anxiety level of patients and their families in the Intensive Care Unit Method: The method used is a literature review. The procedure for searching and selecting articles was based on Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews & Meta-Analyses (PRISMA), so four articles were obtained for analysis in the database used in this study, namely Google Scholar, which was limited to publication in the last five years from 2018 to 2023, full-text articles in English. English and Indonesian. Results: The review results of the four articles stated that the analysis of the Univariate and Bivariate statistical tests explained a correlation between respondents' perceptions of nurse caring and the level of anxiety in patients and families with a P value <0.05. Discussion: Nurses providing nursing care are able to provide care with affection, understanding, problem-solving, giving support, giving appreciation, giving attention, and communication which can provide a sense of security and comfort for patients and their families. The existence of sufficient caring behavior from nurses will minimize the incidence of anxiety. Conclusion: There is a relationship between caring behavior and decreased family anxiety in patients treated in the ICU

Abstract

This study aims to describe the perceptions of teachers and students about speaking skills in self-assessment, learning approaches and forms of learning Arabic. This study has distributed questionnaires to 51 teachers of Arabic Language Subjects and 395 students of MAN in Jambi Province and made observations to 8 Arabic teachers. Data were analyzed descriptively, namely frequency, percentage, average and standard deviation using SPSS version 25. Qualitative data were analyzed qualitatively descriptively. The results showed that the teacher's self-assessment in speaking skills was at a high level and students' self-assessment in speaking skills was at a moderate level. The speaking skills learning approach from the teacher's perceptions is at a sufficient level and the speaking skills learning approach from the students' perceptions shows it is at a moderate level. The form of learning MPBA speaking skills from teacher perceptions is at a high level. Likewise, the form of learning speaking skills from students' perceptions is high.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the evaluation of the implementation of Arabic language learning for Postgraduate Masters Students at the UIN STS Jambi. This study is evaluation research using a quantitative descriptive approach with survey methods. The data collection techniques used were direct observation, interviews and documentation. This research reveals that The implementation of Arabic language learning takes the form of in-depth and comprehensive understanding; students are invited to think independently, rationally, critically, analytically, after dissecting various Arabic literature. Assessment of learning outcomes is carried out through an assignment and exam mechanism, with components including individual and group assignment scores, student activity scores in class in answering questions. The results of the Arabic language proficiency test did not show very well, all indicators obtained a mean score interpretation that was still at a good stage (2.51 – 2.99). The highest results in the aspect of understanding (Mean=2.71, sd=0.88) with a good level percentage of 52.4% with a total of 33 respondents. The lowest mean score was in the aspect of answering accuracy (mean=2.49, sd=0.10) with a percentage at the poor stage of 11.1% with only 7 respondents at the very bad stage. 3). The aspect of understanding Arabic literature is in the poor category in understanding Arabic texts. Only 4 people or 3.6% of respondents were able to understand the text very well. 8 people or 12.7% of respondents did not really understand Arabic texts. Of the total 63 respondents, only 31 people or 49.2% of respondents were able to understand Arabic literature well.Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan evaluasi pelaksanaan pembelajaran bahasa Arab di Pascasarjana UIN STS Jambi. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian evaluasi dengan menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kuantitatif dengan metode survei. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi langsung, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Penelitian ini mengungkap bahwa Pelaksanaan pembelajaran bahasa Arab berbentuk pemahaman mendalam dan komprehensif, mahasiswa diajak untuk berpikir mandiri, rasional, kritis, analitis, setelah membedah berbagai literatur bahasa Arab. Penilaian hasil belajar dilakukan melalui mekanisme penugasan dan ujian, dengan komponen meliputi nilai tugas individu dan kelompok, nilai aktivitas mahasiswa di kelas dalam menjawab soal. Hasil tes kemampuan bahasa Arab belum menunjukkan sangat baik, semua indikator memperoleh interpretasi skor rata-rata yang masih pada tahap baik (2,51 – 2,99). Hasil tertinggi pada aspek pemahaman (Mean=2,71, sd=0,88) dengan presentase tingkat baik sebesar 52,4% dengan jumlah responden 33 orang. Nilai rata-rata terendah terdapat pada aspek ketepatan menjawab (mean=2,49, sd=0,10) dengan presentase pada tahap kurang baik sebesar 11,1% dengan hanya 7 responden yang berada pada tahap sangat kurang. 3). Aspek pemahaman literatur berbahasa Arab berada pada kategori kurang baik dalam memahami teks bahasa Arab. Hanya 4 orang atau 3,6% responden yang mampu memahami teks dengan sangat baik. Sebanyak 8 orang atau 12,7% responden tidak begitu memahami teks bahasa Arab. Dari total 63 responden, hanya 31 orang atau 49,2% responden yang mampu memahami literatur berbahasa Arab dengan baik.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the structural model of Sequential Explanatory Technological Pedagogical and Content Knowledge (TPACK) of Madrasah Teachers in Jambi Province.This research involved 132 teachers for surveys and 5 teachers for interviews. Descriptive statistics, t-test, Anova, and SEM-PLS were used in quantitative data analysis, while qualitative data was carried out using descriptive thematics. The findings show that Madrasah teachers' TPACK is at a good category level. There are no differences in teachers' TPACK levels based on gender, certification status, madrasa level, age, teaching experience, and field of study. Technological pedagogical knowledge (TPK) has a stronger influence on technological pedagogical and content knowledge (TPACK) compared to technological content knowledge (TCK) and pedagogical content knowledge (PCK). Teachers need support from schools and communities to increase TPACK knowledge in addition to from self-awareness to developing competence as well as several other information that have been discussed in the discussion of this research. Teachers should increase their TPACK knowledge so that they can confidently implement technology in their learning.
