Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of decisions, funding and investment decisions on the company and analyze the profitability of being able to moderate the effect of funding and investment decisions on the value of the pharmaceutical company sub-sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2017-2021 period, namely before and during the Covid-19 pandemic. Methods The analysis used is multiple regression with R studio tools for statistical data processing. The results showed that the funding decision proxied by DER had no effect on firm value. Investment decisions proxied by PER have an influence on firm value. The profitability variable in this study is able to moderate the effect of investment decisions and decisions on firm value.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to examine the influence of Current Ratio, Total Asset Turnover, Return on Equity, and Net Profit Margin on Profit Growth. With a sample of Infrastructure Sector Companies for the 2019 - 2023 period, there were 79 companies and 8 companies were used as research samples using purposive sampling as the sampling technique. This research was carried out using multiple linear regression methods through data and hypothesis testing and using the Statistical Package for the Social Science program version 29 and Microsoft Excel 2019. The results of the research show that the Current Ratio and Total Asset Turnover have a significant effect on Profit Growth, while Return on Equity, and Net Profit Margin does not have a significant effect on Profit Growth.

Abstract

Media promosi adalah rancangan untuk mengomunikasikan suatu produk atau jasa yang dilakukan oleh perusahaan dalam bentuk kasat mata dengan cara mempengaruhi konsumen secara langsung maupun tidak langsung untuk menciptakan jual beli dalam pemasaran. Website sebagai media promosi atau biasa disebut pemasaran online merupakan salah satu dari pemasaran langsung (direct marketing). Keuntungan dari pemasaran online adalah akses informasi retrieval dan tidak ada pembatasan materi promosi yang dilakukan dengan biaya relatif murah. Tujuan penyelenggaraan kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah membangun sebuag website promosi pada Abay Farms yang berfungsi sebagai alat marketing untuk memperoleh pembeli dan sebagai sarana mitra untuk menyampaikan informasi yang berkaitan dengan budidaya lele. Abay Farm sebagai mitra kegiatan merupakan salah satu sentral produsen bibit lele terbaik yang ada di Kota Tangerang Selatan. kegiatan ini diikuti oleh pemilik Abay Farm dan juga karyawannya yang akan dijadikan admin website untuk diberikan pelatihan dan pendampingan dalam mengelola website Abay Farm. Hasil kegiatan pengabdian ini, memberikan solusi atas permasalahan mitra yang belum memiliki sarana dalam mempromosikan bibit lele dan menyebarluaskan eksistensinya didunia digital. Selain hal tersebut, Universitas Budi Luhur sebagai penyelenggara mendapatkan nilai baik dimata masyarakat umum, serta sebagai mitra dalam kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat dalam mewujudkan tridharma perguruan tinggi.     Optimizing Digital Promotion for Cultivating Lele Seeds Using the Website at Abay Farms Promotional media is a design for communicating a product or service provided by a company in visible form by influencing consumers directly or indirectly to create buying and selling in marketing. Websites as promotional media or what is usually called online marketing are one of direct marketing. The advantage of online marketing is access to information retrieval and no restrictions on promotional materials which are carried out at relatively low costs. The aim of organizing this community service activity is to build a promotional website for Abay Farms which functions as a marketing tool to obtain buyers and as a means for partners to convey information related to catfish cultivation. Abay Farm as an activity partner is one of the best central producers of catfish seeds in South Tangerang City. This activity was attended by the owner of Abay Farm and also his employees who will become website admins to be given training and assistance in managing the Abay Farm website. The results of this service activity provide solutions to the problems of partners who do not yet have the means to promote catfish seeds and spread their existence in the digital world. Apart from this, Budi Luhur University as the organizer has received good marks in the eyes of the general public, as well as being a partner in community service activities in realizing the tridharma of higher education.

Abstract

  This study analyzes the association between stock prices and several financial metrics, including the present ratio, debt-to-equity ratio, net profit margin, and earnings per share. The study's population consisted of fifty enterprises from the hotel, restaurant, and tourism subsector that were listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange between 2019 and 2023. The study's sample of seventeen firms was selected with purposive sampling technique. The inquiry covered the years 2019–2023, all included. The method of choice for the inquiry was multiple linear regression analysis in SPSS version 22. The results showed that the stock price had significant relationship with the debt-to-equity ratio and had no significant current ratio, net profit margin, or earnings per share.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the profitability, liquidity, size of the company, and business risk to the capital structure. The study consists of four independent variables: profitability that is proxy with Return on Equity, liquidity that is Proxy with Current Ratio, Firm Size, and Business Risk proxy in BRSIK, and for the dependent variable: Capital Structure measured with Debt to Equity Ratio. In this study there were 41 companies meeting the criteria of 92 total observations with research objects on property and real estate companies registered in the BEI in the period 2019-2023. The methods used in this study consist of Classical Assumption Test, Correlation Coefficient Analysis Test, Dual Linear Regression Analysis Trial, Determination Analysis (R2), F Test and T Test. While the data analysis method used is double linear regression with a significance of 0.05 using Statical Product and Service Solution (SPSS) Version 22.0. The results of this study indicate that profitability does not have a significant effect on the Capital Structure. Liquidity has a positive and significant impact on Capital Structures. The size of the Company has a significant and positive impact on capital Structure and Business Risk has a negative and non-significant effect on capital structure.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the role of dividend policy as an intervening variable of the company's financial performance which consists of the ratio of liquidity, solvency, activity and profitability to stock returns in public companies that are members of LQ 45 on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during the 2016-2021 period. The type of research is quantitative research with a descriptive approach. With purposive sampling technique, 21 companies were obtained as samples. Analysis and testing of research hypotheses using the Structural Equation Model - Partial Least Square (PLS) method, which is run with SmartPLS version 3.0 software. The results showed that liquidity and activity had an effect, but profitability and solvency had no effect on the Dividend Payout Ratio. Only solvency has an effect, while liquidity, activity and profitability have no effect on stock returns. Furthermore, the Dividend Payout Ratio has no role in mediating financial performance on stock returns.

Abstract

Reducing unemployment is one of the complex economic development problems that is being faced by various countries, including Indonesia. Increasing awareness and entrepreneurial abilities, which are currently being carried out by the government, is a way to improve economic conditions and increase community potential. This research aims to determine how student interest can support business success by paying attention to personal factors that influence student personality: environment, motivation, and skills. The research respondents were Budi Luhur University students who had previously been entrepreneurs, totaling 209 respondents. This research uses the Structural Equation Model method with Partials Least Square. The research results show that interest can mediate motivation and skills on business success; apart from that, environmental factors are an essential determinant of increasing students' motivation to become entrepreneurs. High motivation is the main drive; skills are a strong foundation in managing a business, while deep interest is the driving factor that maintains active involvement and focus on business development. A balanced combination of these three factors is often the key to student entrepreneurial success, helping them face challenges and take advantage of opportunities in the dynamic business world.

Abstract

This research aims to discover how knowledgeable traditional market traders are regarding digital payment technology, what challenges traders face when trying or considering using digital payments, and how prepared traders are for traditional market digitalization programs. The research method used is qualitative research, which is conducted in-depth interviews with traditional market traders at Kebayoran Lama Market, South Jakarta. The research was conducted in June 2024 and visualized using NVIVO software. The interview results show that traditional market traders' understanding of digital payments shows that awareness, education, trust, and security factors play an essential role in adopting this technology. Overcoming the challenges of adopting digital payments requires a holistic approach that includes improving security and privacy, user education and training, developing technological infrastructure, reducing transaction costs, encouraging social and cultural influence, and increasing merchant support. Meanwhile, to increase the readiness of traditional market traders in facing digitalization, several strategic steps are needed, including comprehensive education and training to increase optimism and reduce discomfort, providing easily accessible technical support, security campaigns to explain digital payment system security measures, as well as promotions and incentives to encourage technology adoption.

Abstract

Purpose: This service aims to increase the attractiveness of MSME products in Duren Seribu Village, Depok City, by strengthening branding and packaging. Methodology/Approach: This service was designed using community-based assessment methods. This study included a market review of brand name and logo selection, packaging design, brand promotion, and communication strategies. This review process involved MSME owners, product users, and branching experts. In addition, we used graphic design software and data analysis tools to optimize branching and packaging. Results: The results of this service show that strengthening Branding and packaging can increase the attractiveness of MSME products. Strategies such as choosing a logo and brand name, attractive packaging design, promotion via social media, and creating a brand story have proven effective in strengthening the branching and packaging of MSME products. Limitations: This study provides a transparent assessment of its scope and potential biases. Some limitations may include the small sample size, potential respondent biases, and inherent challenges of capturing the complex and multifaceted nature of the branding and packaging impact on MSMEs. Contribution: This study enriches the literature on UMKM development by providing a nuanced understanding of the role of branding and packaging in rural contexts, specifically within Desa Duren Seribu and Kota Depok. The insights gained from this study may contribute to the formulation of tailored strategies and interventions that can be replicated in similar rural settings, aiding the sustainable growth of the UMKM.

Abstract

Pemilihan Kepala Daerah (Pilkada) 2024 di Indonesia tidak terkecuali dari tren ini, di mana partai politik dan para calon memanfaatkan platform sosial media dalam menyampaikan program, visi, dan misi kepada masyarakat. Komunitas Tenaga Ahli dan Sekretaris (KITAS), sebagai salah satu relawan PDI Perjuangan berperan penting dalam menyampaikan pesan partai dan calon yang diusung kepada masyarakat. Namun, dengan meningkatnya penggunaan media sosial, muncul tantangan baru terkait etika dan akhlak dalam penggunaannya. Oleh karena itu, pemanfaatan media sosial yang beretika dan berakhlak menjadi krusial untuk membangun citra positif kandidat dalam Pilkada 2024. Tujuan dari kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah memberikan edukasi dan pelatihan bagi relawan PDI Perjuangan tentang cara memanfaatkan media sosial. Kegiatan ini memiliki potensi besar untuk meningkatkan efektivitas kampanye dengan cara yang etis dan bertanggung jawab.  Hal ini dapat disimpulkan dari kegiatan yang berlangsung secara hybrid pada tanggal 27 Juli 2024 yang bertempat di komplek RJA Kalibata, yang merupakan tempat komunitas KITAS. Materi pelatihan yang relevan, instruktur berpengalaman, dan penggunaan alat modern memberikan dasar yang kuat bagi peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan para relawan. Hal ini dapat dilihat pada hasil pengukuran yang dilakukan oleh tim PKM pada saat sebelum dan setelah kegiatan berlangsung.
