Abstract

Integrated thematic learning is learning that is packaged in themes based on the integrated learning content. The aim of this research is to develop Augmented Reality-based Booklet media in order to further improve critical thinking skills of class III elementary school students. This research applied the research and development (R&D) method with ADDIE model which consists of 5 steps, namely analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation. The instruments in this research are observation, interviews, tests and questionnaires. The data analysis technique used is quantitative descriptive analysis technique. The research results of this study can be seen from the average results of media experts for Augmented Reality-based Booklet media getting 4.95 which is stated "very feasible", the assessment of material experts getting 4.46 which is stated as "very feasible", and the assessment of language experts getting 4.4 which is stated "very decent". Based on the effectiveness of the media, teachers' responses received an average of 4.8 which was stated "very effective" while the pre-test and post-test results of class 3 students using the N-Gain test received an average of 0.87 in the "high" category. Based on the results of this research, it can be concluded that research and development of augmented reality-based booklet media can improve the critical thinking skills of third grade elementary school students.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to develop a Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS)-based learning evaluation by Quiz-Based Learning (QBL) on the subject of Pancasila application to enhance the critical thinking skills of fifth-grade students. This study employs a research and development method through the ASSURE development steps. The experimental design used was a pre-test and post-test design. The results of the study show that the media, as evaluated by media experts, received a validity score of 94%, while the score given by subject matter experts reached 90%, with both considered highly valid. Additionally, teacher responses on the feasibility aspect achieved 95%, also considered highly feasible. Lastly, the results showed an improvement on students' critical thinking skills with an N-gain score of 0.9, indicating a high level of improvement. Therefore, it can be concluded that HOTS-based learning supported by QBL on Pancasila application material is feasible to use for enhancing critical thinking skills.

Abstract

Learning media is an object or tool which can be used as an intermediary by teachers and accepted by recipients, namely students, in the teaching and learning process so that learning can run effectively and efficiently so that learning objectives can be achieved according to the desired curriculum. This sets-based booklet media was created as an alternative in learning science subjects. This stage consists of: analyze, design, development, implementation and evaluation. The stages in implementing research and development activities are contained in the ADDIE model. The results of validation of sets-based booklet media were carried out by several experts, such as media experts, material experts and language experts. The media expert's assessment of this learning media is based on two aspects (1) Clarity and (2) Appearance is "Very Valid" based on the table, namely the assessment percentage is 97%. The material expert's assessment of this learning media is based on two aspects (1) Clarity and (2) Appearance is "Very Valid" based on the table, namely the assessment percentage is 90%. The linguist's assessment of this learning media is based on two aspects (1) Clarity and (2) Appearance is "Very Valid" based on the table, namely the assessment percentage is 90%. Based on the results of the n-gain test, the critical thinking abilities of class IV students obtained a total significant value of 0.85. The result obtained high criteria.

Abstract

The study aims to produce educational dakon learning media products based on Pancasila student profiles to improve learning outcomes on the main idea paragraph material for grade V SDN Kemloko 1 Nglegok District which are valid based on material experts and media experts, and are suitable to be used by teachers and students who can improve the learning outcomes of grade V students. This study uses the ADDIE development model. The results of the validity test of the educational dakon product show a level of validity that is very valid and valid with a validation score percentage of 91%, 80% and 80%. The results of the feasibility test of the educational dakon product are very feasible with a percentage of 91.11%. The results of the pretest and posttest of students on the educational dakon product show that the educational dakon media can improve student learning outcomes with the N-gain score obtained reaching 0.45 with a moderate category. Thus, the educational dakon product produced is valid and suitable to be used in learning the main idea paragraph material at grade V.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to develop augmented reality-based Sibeda Media (Object Shape Transformation) using LC5E on material object shape transformation to increase the self-authenticity and adversity quotient of Class IV students. The approach applied in this research is Research and Development (R&D) with steps in developing the ASSURE model. The field experimental design used was a one group pretest-posttest design. Based on the research results, it is known that the media validity score by media experts achieved 98%, while material experts gave a score of 96%, both of which were categorized as very valid. While, teacher responses to the feasibility aspect achieved 97.5%, with a very feasible category. Based on student responses, Sibeda media based on augmented reality using LC5E received positive results, namely being able to be effective with a significant influence in increasing self-authenticity in the high category based on the average N-gain score reaching 0.767, and the results of the paired t-test showed significance. with Sig value. (2-tailed) of 0.000 < 0.05. Likewise, this product is also able to be effective with a significant effect in increasing the adversity quotient in the high category of students which is based on an average N-gain score of 0.768 and the results of the paired t-test get significant criteria with Sig. (2-tailed) is 0.000 < 0.05.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of artificial intelligence (AI)-based puzzle media integrated with the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model on the science literacy of fifth-grade students at SDN Gadungan 1, Blitar Regency. The research employed a quantitative method with a quasi-experimental design, involving an experimental group using AI-based puzzle media and a control group using conventional learning methods. Data were collected through interviews, questionnaires, and pre-test and post-test assessments. Data analysis was carried out using descriptive and inferential statistics, including a t-test. The results showed that the use of AI-based puzzle media through the PBL model significantly improved students’ science literacy compared to conventional learning methods. The experimental class achieved a higher average post-test score of 80.25, compared to the control group's average of 67.92. T-test calculations showed that the calculated t-value was greater than the critical t-value, thus H? was rejected and H? was accepted. This indicates a significant difference between the control and experimental groups. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that the use of interactive learning media such as AI-based puzzles can effectively enhance students’ conceptual understanding and learning motivation.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a Fun Thinkers Book learning media based on numeracy literacy for teaching arithmetic operations with whole numbers to third-grade students, in order to improve their problem-solving skills. The research used a development method with the ADDIE model, which consists of five stages: Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The subjects of this study were third-grade students at SDN Ponggok 04, Blitar Regency. The data collection tools used were interviews, observations, questionnaires, and tests. The data analysis techniques applied were both qualitative and quantitative descriptive analysis. The results of the study indicate that the Fun Thinkers Book developed is valid and suitable for use as learning media. The use of the Fun Thinkers Book proved effective in improving problem-solving abilities among the third-grade students at SDN Ponggok 04, Blitar Regency, as evidenced by the improvement in average pretest scores from 57.2 to posttest scores of 90.0, with an N-Gain of 0.767.

Abstract

This study introduces the development of a digital learning environment in the form of an electric diorama (DIOTRIK) based on Augmented Reality (AR), designed using the theme Natural Scenery and Its Utilization to enhance science knowledge among fifth-grade elementary students. The research employed a Research and Development (R&D) approach, adapting the Borg and Gall model. The experimental design used in the field test was a One-Group Pretest–Posttest Design. Data were collected through interviews, surveys, experiments, and documentation. The results of the media validation showed that the diorama design was categorized as very valid by media experts with a score of 98%, and valid by material experts with a score of 73%, indicating that the developed product is highly feasible for use. The effectiveness of the learning environment was reflected in the posttest average score of 89.28 compared to the pretest average of 58.03. The N-Gain value of 0.782 falls into the high category (0.70 ? n ? 1.00). Thus, the use of visual aids such as the DIOTRIK AR diorama positively impacts students’ learning outcomes compared to learning without visual support.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a learning medium in the form of a diorama integrated with Augmented Reality (AR) technology for the topic of metamorphosis, designed to enhance third-grade elementary students’ self-regulated learning and scientific literacy. The research employed the Research and Development (R&D) method based on the ASSURE instructional design model. During the field testing phase, a One Group Pretest–Posttest Design was applied. Data were collected through interviews (prior to development), questionnaires, tests, and supporting documentation. The results of expert evaluations indicated high validity, with media expert validation reaching 92.6% and material expert validation scoring 90%, both categorized as very valid. Teacher responses were highly positive, with an eligibility rate of 94%. Furthermore, students’ questionnaire and test results showed significant improvement in both self-regulated learning and scientific literacy, with average N-gain scores of 0.4824 and 0.6460, respectively, both in the moderate improvement category. The MANOVA test (Tests of Between-Subjects Effects) revealed significance values of 0.007 for self-regulated learning and 0.003 for scientific literacy. Since both values were below the 0.05 threshold, it can be concluded that the AR-based diorama learning medium had a significant effect on both variables.

Abstract

This study aims to enhance the self-confidence of fifth-grade students at SDN Panggungrejo 06, Blitar Regency, through the development of an innovative learning medium called Monopoli Budaya (POLDA) with the theme “My Proud Region,” integrated with the Jigsaw learning model. The research adopted the Borg and Gall development model, which includes the stages of identifying potentials and problems, data collection, product design, design validation, design revision, and product testing. This study employed a Research and Development (R&D) approach. Data were collected through observation, interviews, expert validation questionnaires, and student self-confidence questionnaires. The results of expert validation indicated that the POLDA media was feasible and practical for classroom use, achieving 98% for media validation and 73% for material validation. Furthermore, students’ self-confidence increased significantly after using the POLDA media integrated with the Jigsaw model, as evidenced by product trial results. In conclusion, the development of the Monopoli Budaya cooperative learning medium effectively fosters students’ self-confidence and engagement in learning science and social concepts in elementary school
